At least you did your homework before joining which is what I was hoping you had done. I would probably have done the same as you in this case. Now you know something important about CC processor. It really doesn't matter which one you use because they are not a guarantee that you won't get shafted by the site itself. I learned that the hard way. I hope you do a full review of the site because it doesn't have a recent one and I don't think TBP plan son reviewing it which means yours would be the go to for reference.

I'm always curious to know the thought process someone goes through to pick a site like this when there are clearly so many similar ones that are superior to it. Does this site have certain movies that VideosZ or Videobox did not have because I didn't see them. The search option are piss poor because I didn't see anywhere to search by studio which is very important in a site like this.
I feel bad for you because no one likes to get cheated out of their money and I'm glad you are warning others but in future you should use the resources that TBP/PU offer people looking for porn. If you had simply asked whether it was a good idea to join this site then I and others would have told you no.

Did you check out TBP`s review? They did one in March of this year and they were claiming that the site had stopped updating a couple of months prior to their review. This is one of those sites that could be interesting if it wasn't so expensive. If it was undr 20$ then i would tell you to go ahead but it's 30$ and that is just too much for a site that only received a 72% rating and with less than stellar content.

I'll just add one more nugget of info and say that they have been in limbo for nearly six months now and there is still no light at the end of the tunnel so I recommend that you visit their main site and when you start to see a slew of new titles then you may want to join again. Otherwise this great company will go down the route of many other great companies and become extinct like the Dodo bird.

I don't know if you're aware but the studio is in limbo. I consider the site dead but rumor as it that it might be bought. It might be but I'll believe it when it happens and not before.
It's still an amazing site to join but only once and never long term.
Of course if they do get bought and the new onewrs start producing porn as good as Elegant did then I might change my opinion.

I don't know because the last time I was a member of VB then the Elegant channel was part of their standard package of channels but then again I don't think they included any recent stuff. I don't care for HD so that is never a selling point for me but the price is a little cheaper on VB than on Elegant's on site.
The only thing I'll add is that I hope that any interested person oes and gets his membership directly form Elegant Angels instead of going through a site like VB. It is 5$ more that way but a lot more money is going to the studio producing the porn and that is a worthwhile investment. Studio are already losing money from illegal streaming and download sites and the recession nearly killed all of them. That extra 5$ may not seem like a lot but it might be the amount they need to keep going.
P.S: Of course since Elegant is still a more or less dead site for now then my suggestion to pay 5$ is a little harder to suggest.

I think the trial is one of those that is to be avoided because it's more tease than anything else. I don't know if the VB channel offers HD content for the Elegant content but it is available on their site.

My only reasons for the fairly high score is that they seem to have fixed the access issue since I brought it up because I haven't had any problems since then and even if they aren't really updating with new content. All new member are still getting 100's of gigs of incredible porn and that won't change for the immediate future.
That's why I gave a warning to returning members.

Basically I click on my Elegant Angels link and nothing happens. You see a little spinning icon on my browser page as though it's trying to access the link but I normally wind up turning off the page after a minute of nothing happening. I tried it yesterday and I got access right away. I tried a couple of pages and everything was fine and then when I tried to access the pornstar page then I lost access to the site and when I tried to access the site again then it did the loop thing.
I don't know if I'm the only person with this problem because it really sucks.

The problem is that I can't access the main site or let alone the members area. All I get is a loop on my browser as it tries to access the site. I'm aware of the issues surrounding the status of Elegant as a porn studio and I guess these problems are why the site is the way it currently is. It's too bad because it was a very good studio.

I would also love to avoid VOD sites but there are just too many movies on those sites that are not available elsewhere and it's also nice to sometime view some parts ofr movies to see if it's worth joining the studios site or not.

If ADE has it then it's only a question of time until AEBN and Hot Movies gets it and then Elegant will upload it to their own site. I will definetely join Elegant anothe time once BWA 22 is available on their site.

I highly doubt it because the movie was only released to dvd a week or so ago. Elegant unlike Evil Angel does not uplaod their dvd content at the same time or befrore the dvd are released.
I'm sure it will get uploaded some time this year but not right away. I checked a couple f streaming sites and the title isn't even on there yet.
P.S: This is Lexi's second anal scene. I'm sure you have already seen her frirst one.

If you check the con's in my recent review then you will see that they aren't being all that honest when it comes to which dvd's are available inside the members section. There are easily 6 dvd's that clearly state as being available but which aren't yet. They lost a couple of points for that one because it would take just a slight correction in wording.
I can't speak about the trial because TBP doesn't have any info and I very rarely buy trial memberships because what you describe is common in most of them.

They uploaded a new dvd this moring and it's Bombshell 1 which was released in 2010 and you currently get access to only one scene from that dvd. I'm not changing my score because the site is very good but I don't think I will comeback anytime soon. Especially since you can't tell which dvd they have added to the site and which one they are using as bait.

They only update with one new dvd every seven days so it's going to take them years. I think they also update with induvidual scenes like Evila Angel does and unless the dates are off then only in the last week have they updated on a daily basis. All the other scenes seem to be updated on a weekly basis like the dvd's.

They will have to significantly increase their update schedule or it will take them a many years to come anywhere close to where Evil Angel is. It still a great site but man I wish they had more of their older titles. Especially since they don't release that many new ones now anyway.

Like I said in my review. This site suffers a great deal from the fact that Evil Angel exist because EA is much better than Elegant.
I don't know when Lexi's movie will be uploaded to the network but my gut feeling is that it won't be before the end of October at the earliest and mid to late November might also be possible. There are at least 5 movies on the preview section that are still not uploaded to the site so these will probably get uploaded first and if that happens then you are looking at at least November.

You are correct. I didn't go through every title and using the date on the video doesn't help because it's the one when the movie was uploaded to the site and not the production date. Jenna's movie was uloaded this year so that's teh date on it. There might be a few movies made prior to 2008 on the site but I think the number is small.

It's too bad they don't do like Evil Angel because members usually get access to their most recent movies at about the same time as dvd sellers. This way you get less people trying to steal your movie buy releasing it on torrent sites.

I'm not a huge fan of HD in the first place so videos in 540p would be more than acceptable to me. Uplaoding some stuff done in early 2000 is a nice step forward but I want to see the stuff they did in the 90's a lot more because that's the stuff that is often no longer available anywhere except on streamin only sites.
Mind you Elegant isn't the only studio who have incredible amounts of content done in the 90's that's no longer available. It's just that this is the stuff that I liked.

I also really like the stuff Elegant does but the fact that they don't offer their early movies is a major con for me. I much prefer their older content to the newer stuff. I suspect that most of those older titles may not belong to them because they are owned by the director who filmed it. At least that's the only reason i can see why they wouldn't use their older library to fill the site and add to their traffic.
I'm sure that I'm not the only person who would love to see those older titles. Mind you Evil Angel does the same thing because they also don't offer most of their older titles and the quality for those is not very good when they do.
