It's a good suggestion Thomas20 but since their double speak isn't really lying. So asking for my money back isn't really an option. I agree that the double speak is borderline but it's more the way their preview pages are set-up and TBP's review that caused me to be fooled. Another member has told me that the changes are recent so that's why TBP's review is now obsolete.
I take comfort in the fact that my 20$ membership will cost the site and others from the same company some serious loss of income.

I agree because the only thing we can do is warn other people of the changes. Then it's their choice if they don't mind joining a site that has mostly streaming videos. I've posted an error report a TBP so they can alter their review to match the changes.

Thanks for the info messmer. I suspected that the changes were done after TBP's review. There is no way they wouldn't have noticed that the videos are now streaming only. I hope TBP makes a change to their review because a lot of people will get burned like me. I know that I would never have joined any of their sites if I'd know about the streaming only option.
Score is correct that it will stop piracy but the problem is that it will also stop paying members who only wanted to download to their computer the pics and videos from joining.

I could be wrong but I don't think their earlier stuff was in HD only because HD is a fairly new type of resolution.
I might also go the HD route for TV if I had an HD converter but I'm still using a basic cable converter so it's standard resolution for me. Mind you most of the stuff I watch doesn't require HD to be appreciated and maybe it's better that way.

I checked the ones I downloaded recently and they are all 640 x 480 but I don't know if it's because I chose a lower resolution over the HD of if it's because that was the highest resolution available.
I know that 640 x 480 is good enough for me so I don't if the HD is only on the most recent updates but I can appreciate the annoyance some can have if they were hoping for HD. I take comfort in the fact that you can at least download all their videos now.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that HD was never offered anywhere but on Score HD. I've been a member of 50 plus a couple of times but only the last time was it possible to download their entire library but I think only the most recent stuff was offered in HD. I just assumed that only that stuff had been filmed in HD and that's why it was the only stuff in that format.
It's never been an issue for me because as you probably already know. I avoid HD as often as possible so that I don't go above my downloadable quota.

All the sites are more or less all connected now and they all work the same way so what I'm writing applies to all of them.
1-All the videos can be streamed online or downloaded.
2-You can download the videos in WMV or MP4.
3-Nowe some of the videos can be downlaoded in HD but those are the more recent ones as HD didn't exist when the sites first went online.
4-I never paid attention before so I'm not sure if this is new but you can now download a mobile ready version of the videos.
5-As always. Looking at a particular model will automatically show you all the shoots she has done for other sites. Of course you can only see those if you join the site in question.

Score HD was always a download site and that's why I mostly only joined that site but I still joined 50plus once in a while. I'm glad that I was of help. I hope this helps them get more members and by default allows them to film more scenes.

Yeah 720p videos would be a nice thing seeing as you can stream them all in that resolution and they don't allow many downloadable videos in the first place. We'll just rack this one up to a quirkiness of the site. Mind you I think the best thing that could happen to them would be if they started to import their videos onto ScoreHD. I think this site and 60plus are the only two currently not being transfered when the donwload period is passed.

I was hoping that maybe some of the content from 50plus and 60 plus managed to wind up on scoreHd or score video without actually being mentioned but I guess that was too much to hope for. I don't know how they manage to survive. I guess they save some bandwidth money by not allowing downloads and since you can't actually steal the bulk of their content then tube sites can't use their content but does this really offset all the losses in profit from people like you and me who will never join these sites?

I don't know but I seriously doubt it. Since they aren't upfront about doing that then I won't be testing it. I do know that if you join either Score HD or Score Video then you get access to the other site and these sites seem to be getting the older videos from many of the other Score sites. I just don't know if this includes the content from this site or the 60plusnilf site. You did a review in 2009 so you probably already know the answer. There are some videos on this site that I'd love to get access to but I probably will never do that because of my above reason.

I just want to add that if it was written somewhere on the site that a large part of the content is streaming only then Score would have a leg to stand on their policy but since they don't then all they are doing is stealing members money by promising to offer something and then not coming through.

I wish you had read what I and some others have written about some of the Score group sites because you would have known that Score has decided to stop allowing their paying mebers the possibility of downloading videos. I got burned when I joined 40 something mag last year and I've been telling anyone that will listen that you should stay far away from any Scote group site.
Sorry for your recent problem. My suggestion for any future site is is that you should read TBP and PU reviews of the site and I also look at other reviews of the sites owned by the same webmaster so that I can get a feel for the parent company. You should also read comments because you'll often see these little bits of info not necessarily found on older reviews.

Thanks for the review. I would recommend you stay away from all score group sites because I believe they are all the same now and you can only download a very small part of their library.

I'm sorry but you'll have to put a lot more data than your anecdotal stories about the quality of their customer service to justify what I consider to be a very very high score. This is basically your run of the mill online dvd store who also happens to offer VOD and in mail services. their prices aren't even all that great.

I believe that what normally happens is that they get a lawyer's letter telling them to remove the illegal content from their site or face legal consequences. All they have to do is remove it then they are out of trouble and they can always upload it again later on and then repeat the process when they get another letter. Most studios will not go the lawsuit route because there are some high legal cost involved in doing that. Just look at the content on most Tube Sites as proof. A lot of it is illegal and yet most of them are still in business.
The best thing we can do about all theswe types of site is talk about it so that they don't get new members. Sooner or later they will go out of business.

There was a time when I would probably have joined a site like this because I didn't know any better. I guess that still applies for anyone just making his or her first step on the net. The site is flashy and they appear to have a lot of content. Not too mention that not every review site is like TBP and PU. Just look at the porn inspector review for that site that was done last year. They gave the site a 3.8 out of 5 and they are still offering a link to the site. That's the beauty of PU and TBP. You may not always agree with the review but you can normally get enough info to know if it's worth joining.

TBP has chosen to stop doing business with them so that should tell you everything you need to know. Not too mention that the most recent PU review emphasized the fact that they had illegal content on their site.

While I think it's great that you got the offer to download for an extra fee. Did you know you would get it and why do it like that when it's so much easier to have different prices already on the join page that tell you for 15$ you get streaming only and for 30$ you also get the download option? I know the year long membership has the download option but I know I will never get it because it's too much money upfront and who knows what they might do six months from now?

I love your review and completely agree with you wrote but sadly for me.
The fact that for now they are essentially a streaming only site (unless you fork over some serious cash) means that they are not going to get me to join them. I would gladly pay 30+$ to get a monthly membership but I absolutely refuse to buy year long membership. It really sucks because over the last few years they have bought or partnered with so many sites that there are less and sites available to join where you can download the content.

Their business model is simple. They would rather get a smaller pool of people to fork over 100$ then get significantly more people to fork over 20$ and try to download their entire library in 30 days. Even if many of the people who buy a monthly membership might stay longer. They have as a company decided that they prefer less members who will buy a year long membership which is why I stopped following AT.
I refuse to join sites or in this case a huge network that doesn't allow downloads and while it's true that AT allows downloads. The fact that its only for people who get a year long membership technically means that it's not going to be for people like me.

I just used TBP link and based on the below to AT join packages then you have four join options. A 3 day streaming only trial for a 1$, a 30 day streaming only option for 15$, a 30 day streaming and download option for 25$ and the one year streaming and download option for 96$. Not sure if this is a Region limited type of offer but I've tried it twice already from my computer using the TBP link and just Googling AT and both times I get the same join page.
