Thanks for your review. I was aware of this site but it was not on my radar until I saw your review. I'm interested.
The preview site says they add 2 videos a week. Is that accurate?
As a video guy, I shy away from photo sites that have a few videos because they are usually just videos of photo shoots (MetArt, for example).
But the preview site of FEMJOY has some excellent previews of videos that make me want to check it out and drain off their video content, but before I do I'd like your opinion of the video content (quantity and quality).

Since I was burned (badly) by Danni.com 3 years ago, I have a procedure that I follow religiously when I sign up for any new site.
1. I create a Word document where I copy the URLs of the preview site and of the sign up page.
2. I use Print Screen to copy the confirmation page with the subscription number and all other details. If the confirmation page permits (they usually do) I also copy and paste it to the Word document.
3. I open a new window leaving the confirmation page open, and try to log on independently. If I succeed, then I save the Word document and close the confirmation window. If not, I find the "contact us" link and will immediately call the 800 number of CCBill or of the site to confirm that my subscription is active.
4. If I'm unsuccessful, my next call is to my credit card issuer to have them cancel...or reverse the charge.
5. I then go to PU and post a comment. Recently I had an issue with PornstarXS.com accessing their trial. I received no replies at all from their contact us contacts but I did get a response from the webmaster.
To be fair, almost every site I've joined since being screwed by Danni.com has worked perfectly and where they haven't, the 800 number has worked to get things on track.

RagingBuddhist already said a few things I was going to say so let me just say that I am with you on the filet mignon/pizza analogy. I was a member of MetArt for several months and left it because, although there was plenty of material, it was of modest quality and was totally repetitive.
I hope that as time passes the site starts loading enough material to justify it's $18 per month price.
I'm thinking of joining FigureBaby to see how good a site's quality can be and to give me a better basis for evaluating it in comparison with other sites.

While I agree a site needs to start somewhere and to grow in a controlled manner. But what seems to be the case here, by your description, is that they are still in the planning stage and are playing with what they want to be when they go "prime time."
Most embryonic sites start off as an adjunct of another, established site as a "bonus" offering in order to get some direct feedback by porn users...or at least a very low membership price like $5.99.
But at $17.99 with only two "naked videos" and very few photos, I think I can wait a while.

Messmer - I feel the same way. If they can't do a good job on the promotional side, it's not likely the full product will be any better.
Denner - Maybe there should be a method to keep track of what has been saved by using member reviews like this and a "MVPU" (Most Valuable Porn User) prize awarded each year.

I enjoyed your review and your list of notable babes. I agree with virtually everything you said. I finally dropped out last year because I got tired of the ultra-slow download speeds but I miss the uniqueness of the content and several of the earlier babes. I love Andrea (Andie Valentino) and Yana (Jana Jordan).
Your review has me thinking I should sign up for a month and see what's new.

I'm a video guy but I still agree with Guy's review. The imagination factor has diminished to the point that I dropped my seven year tenacity last September. The download speed has continued to be a major negative. I did (and still do) like the ability to see several of my favorite hard core ladies in a tease environment.

Great job on this review.
I've been a member for a long time and agree with everything you say. But my one big beef is the excessive amount of time devoted to one activity. For example, in many cases the model starts a scene in bed waking up then going straight to masturbation for 10 minutes. No variety of any kind.
Rob, the guy in charge, said the intention is to load as much of his shoots as he can and let the viewer choose what to see or to fast forward through.
Another beef is the naming convention. There isn't one. It wouldn't be that difficult to, at least, use the model name. If you are new to FTV, be sure you have your own naming standards before you start downloading.

I'm with you. When I download I do the entire set then stich them together, but you make a great point. Some scenes go on for ten minutes (or so) where the only "action" is when the girl shoves a dildo in and out of her pussy. Yes, there could be a short period where she reaches orgasm, but that could easily be a minute or so of video, not the full 10 minutes.
But your point is spot on. Saving a 500 Mb scene for a few seconds of a 'gasm is a foolosh waste of hard drive space.

I agree with both you and Pat. Some of the super successful H/C babes are also on FTV; such as Haley Cummings and Gianna Michaels (Rossi). Seeing them in a free form and totally sexy single is really a terrific turn on. A nice add would be to have the site indicate in their already extensive detail info for each model, what their porn names and aliases are so we can track their careers.
My only beef, and it's an age-old one with FTV, is that they still break up their downloads into multiple segments.

Ditto what RA said. One thing not mentioned, however, is that many scenes start off very well but go on way too long. A scene can start with the model lying in bed fingering herself. 10 minutes later nothing has changed except that the model may have shifted her position a little.
Another is that all material is in segments requiring many updates. That can be good, however, because if a scene is boring or not very interesting, you can skip it altogether and not download it.
One plus is that several porn chicks got there start on FTV and it's fun watching them do their thing while looking fresh and new.

I've often wondered about the proliferation of security cameras everywhere and the effect of that proliferation on your work.
Having been in the retail biz where cctv's are used extensively for shortage control and cash handling control, visible and obvious dummy cameras are used as "decoys" and hi-res "pinhole" cameras that are virtually undetectable to most shoplifters are the ones that are taped and are used as evidence.
I suspect that, because your work is, by and large, "no harm/no foul" in the sense that the venue's management suffers no direct loss, your efforts are observed by far more security people who do not do anything at all (other than, perhaps, get off on what they are watching) than those who do something because they don't want to upset granny when a babe shows what she's made of and granny happens to see the show.
That, to me, is a part of the appeal of your site; that it is a sort of "forbidden fruit."
Thanks for your unique efforts and for making me long to be visiting a Phoenix area resort at the same time as you are doing a shoot.

I aqree with the "con" about no full scene download option, but I have another that, being a long term subscriber, would really make the site better, IMHO.
Watching a gorgeous/pretty/sexy babe pleasuring herself with fingers, dildos and/or toys is always a good thing, there is something called "too much of a good thing." Some episodes have 8 to 10 minutes of the girl in the same basic position doing the same basic thing gets rather tedious and boring.
But there are other episodes where, because the babe really turns me on, the 8 to tem minutes seems too short.
I would like an additional option of being able to download an edited down 10 minute (or longer) "highlights" video so I can save space and stay interested.
BTW, There are other porn babes with stuff in their early years as well. Gianna Michaels, Phoenix Ray, Jana Jordan (aka Jana Foxy) and Andie Valentino, for example, show off their assets beautifully.

Denner, Almost all of their stuff since last year is in HD quality with some remastering of older material that improves the quality (not HD but far better than before). I say "almost" because there are a few (very few) clips thrown in on some sets that are not HD but they are short set up or close down scenes with no erotic material.

With the slow rate of updates, this site qualifies as a site one joins for a month at a time every 6 to 12 months after draining the good stuff from its current content.
FYI, I signed up for a month at $30, then decided to cancel. I got a "please stay" offer for $19.95 that I accepted because I wasn't done downloading everything I wanted.
One important point is that each model's material is broken into several pieces which can be good or bad. Good, because you can pick the scenes you want (I tire of the "restaurant episodes" where the model is eating lunch with the videographer and who shyly will pull out a tit or will spread her legs for a few seconds so after viewing the scene once, I'll blow it off and keep the full nudity stuff.)
I like the site because there's no bullshit. You get what they promise. No pop-ups, no surprises, no upsells.

I'm a long time subscriber (at the $19.99 "please stick around" rate that was offered when I canceled last Fall) and agree with a lot of what you say. In fact I just submitted a poll question prompted by your review about a site's search function. FTV's is the worst in the business.
I really like the quality of the current HD videos and the very detailed and extended shots of a babe's body. I also like the fact that there is seldom any lighting issues and phony orgasm grunting.
And I find the current crop of models in the new releases to be outstanding and love the video work on them.
That said, I really don't like (I have written the webmaster about this), is the amount of time spent on a single aspect. While a dildo insertion in a lovely young cunt is a great thing to watch, when a 10 minute segment starts and finishes with the exact same camera position and the model is still pumping away with her toy, it gets rather boring.
I also dislike the fact that there is no opportunity to download an entire set at one time. This is the only "premium priced" site I am aware of that hasn't caught up with the technology.
The naming convention mbaya mentions also sucks, but what's worse is that they have some pornstars in their sets that are identified by completely different names and are described as if they were some young college girls doing soft porn as a lark. (Among their stuff you can find Carmella Bing, Phoenix Ray and Gianna Michaels, all having been posted long after their successful porn careers were in full swing but with silly first names like Clara and Becky.) To their credit they do have Isabella Camille and Jessie Capelli identified accurately.
As a final note, being a tit man and leg man myself, FTV's productions do an excellent job of showing absolutely gorgeous and well thought out explorations of those body parts of each model.
In my humble opinion, mbaya's score is a very fair one and reflects my opinion as well.

As a current member at the "please stick around" rate of $19.95, I could have written this review exactly as Jeffrey99 did. The site is all original content and has stayed high quality in terms of the professional photography and videography, but it really needs a search feature to find a model and/or specific features, such as fisting, peeing, bottles, beads, public nudity and extreme public nudity, blonde, big tits, large labia lips, etc.
One other potential improvement would be to post the aliases of its models. (FTV lists everyone by a first name only).
For example Andie Valentino (I get hard just thinking about her) has a lot of good stuff on FTV under the name Andrea; Jana Jordan appears as Yana, Gianna Michaels is named Becky, and so on. If a model isn't that popular with FTV members she won't be brought back for more...and that's a good reason for those of us who want to see more of a babe to know her full name so we can do a search on the web.
A major plus that has kept me on as a member is that the webmaster/photographer does two things I really like. First, he is superb at making the model look spectacular and shoots lovingly lingering of a model's body parts with perfect lighting and camera angles. Second, he responds personally to emails I've sent him that are candid and very interesting.
