So far you are the only person who has reviewed this site, but you give it a 100. People will not trust this. To give a site a 100 you need to provide some very good reasons for it. Give us much more detail, otherwise your review is pretty much useless. Tell us how much content is there, customer service, resolutions, bit rates, update schedules, familiar models, anything! We need to see much more, especially to trust a 100 review. What you posted would be more appropriate for a comment rather than a review in my opinion. Dont be shy to share information, that is what this site is for!

It does work just as he said. If you download it you get to try it out, it works like a tour page with movie downloads that do not show the how movie. I will tell you though that you cant move the girl around the screen and it can get in the way at times. It also sucks system resources, sometimes a little too much. Personally I have had a lot of problems with my copy of it. I have had to redownload it a few times. It is pretty cool, but it sucks that once you cancel you lose anything you did not pay extra for....so it is find like a DRM movie, you lose it unless you pay more. The concept it cool, but they should let us keep the stuff that is downloaded in my opinion.

That is a very good point that I forgot about. Credit card processors only allow a certain number of charge backs per month to a vendor before they either fine them or boot them off. This is to prevent people from consistent ripping people off. This is why more vendors want to refund your money rather than make you fight it. They hate to see the money go, but it is better than having a large number of charge backs. It is a mechanism to help protect customers.
The issue here is that I am not sure if all the charges come from the same company. The cross sales could come from different account to protect the company from the results of fraud prevention.

I am certainly not complaining that it is there. I think it is great when sites post extra things like this, the more content the better. I am just mentioning it for people who do not want to spend a bunch of time downloading something of far less quality than would be expected based on the file size and sell up the site did about the videos.
I did not think much for the extra stuff either. They really do need to run some compression on it, H.254 would be nice to cut out some of the junk and filter the noise from the archaic VHS. Thank the porn gods the days of VHS are passed!
I have not downloaded everything yet...was there anymore of these oer-rated VHS tapes on here?

First I will say that I like the site as well. But a 99 is a bit on the high end.
I must ask if you have been to other sites? You say "I signed up for a trial and lived on there for 2 year plus"....so does this mean you have not viewed other sites? To me it would seem that way. Twistys is the first site I can remember joining way back in the day, I thought they were the best thing ever, but once I looked around I found some great stuff. It is hard to take away from the magic of the first, and I will always be a Twistys fan, but there are better site out there.
Anyone wanting to list a site at 97 or higher better have an intimate knowledge of the site. You claim to have lived there, so give us the details that comers and goers might miss...actual amount of content, resolutions, bitrates, and other things that stand out.
Please keep in mind that 99s and 100s catch a lot of hell around here! As you have seen already, you will need to defend your rating. And it is a good way to kill your trust ratings! :)

Internet Download Manager works in a similar way. Once it is going it works just fine, but it needs to allow a full download to complete before it remembers everything. That way it is assured that they will all work. If the download can not complete then it does not attempt to use bad data on the rest of the downloads, risking getting me kicked off the site!

I can agree with this. I was excited to find some Amy Reid content from when she was brand new that was not floating around everywhere! This seems to be a "back in the day" sort of site. I agree with your actual review when you said this is not a good site to be used as a first porn site.

Pics too big for screen. The first I have heard someone complain about resolution being too high. Use a resizing program, solve all these issues. Others of us with high res monitor like the larger pictures!
I must agree with the fast stripping though...slow it down a bit. Add more pictures if you have to. Lead up to the prize and it will be more enjoyed. Kinda like your mouth watering as you try to open a candy bar wrapper, you know it is coming and you know it will be good, it just make you want it that much more!

But it can not argued that HD does not have more potential than SD formates. I will admit that I have seen some "HD" junk and some SD beauty. A lot of that would be the type of HD equipment used and the editing after words. If I use a good camera with a large CCD and shoot in SD and edit the video well it will look wonderful, and if I use a low end HD camera that simply crammed more pixels on the same CCD and just post it after it is shot then it will not look as good. There is a difference between High Resolution and High Definition, as well as a difference between me shooting a scene and someone shooting the same scene and actually knows what is going on. Any one can by a HD camera, but no everyone can use it.
Basically, you are right to an extent. I bet those sites that have great SD videos would knock your socks off if they used good HD equipment. All else equal, HD is better. Well, other than the size of the files! :)

Unless you are in real need of a porn fix on a trip I dont see much point. On the other hand, it is cool to show off to friends at times. It always makes for a good laugh, just dont let the minivan mom and her 6 kids see you (or hear) showing it off. People have just as much right to not see porn as we have to watch it if we choose. Obviously we choose too! :)

You knock this site for not having ALL of the subsites updating, but nothing is said of Brazzers. Brazzers does not update all of their subsites either. I dont see this as a major issue, I am happy they do not simply remove the content in the old sites. But it does not make sense to me to have such inconsistent reviews, especial since you reviewed them all at pretty much the same time. If the site is slow, could it not be your connection? Same actors and facials is more of a very specific personal preference. Many people like to see the same dude getting masny women, it plays into the fantasy of the viewer getting many women. Besides in your profile you express the fact that you dont like that is forum reviews all male site....so why do you even care who the guy is. based on your review I would give this site a 90 and others a similar score.
What does "huge" and "good" mean? Is huge 10 GB because you are on dial up, or is huge at least 400 GB. Is "good" 4 Mbit/s or is "good" 256KBit/s? Give more facts along with your opinions. The facts tell us that you actually know the site and are not pulling these reviews out of your ass!

Wow...and I though I was going to catch shit for my VB review! I hope this dude has some good answers for the ratings he just posted. As a mechanical engineer I assure you there is no new math....1+1 still equals 2. Perhaps he is on dial up where a 1 GB limit would not be an issue, but for someone even with a lame broadband this becomes and issue with a few hours at least and 10 minutes for others. The reason he is recommending being a member for life is because it would take that long to download everything with that harsh limit!
Sorry, cant say I trust this dude, and that is bad coming from me.

Everything you do on the computer, buy with your credit card or check out from the library is all publicly available, so why bother. I say give me the shirt and be proud of it. Hell it might be a step in the direction of having porn being more socially exceptable, even though billions of people look at it worldwide. Well, maybe not, but it certainly cant be any worse than people who wear playboy shirts and shocker shirts.
Besides, by being here you are admitting to being a porn freak anyway, gays are coming out of the closet so why dont we? Find me a Congressmen who never looked at a titty picture, hell have of them have a handful of hookers....porn browsing spreads no AIDS and gets no one raped.

Okay. I never said I took off from Twistys based on the DVD section. I always believe that more content is better, and if the extra content is junk it should not matter as long as it does not take away from the real content. I just do not see Twistys as a DVD site. Months ago when i was a member there they did not have a huge quantity of DVDs and they were slow coming, so i would rather them put that time into making actual updates. Then Twistys posts a part of a new DVD it counts as the daily update. I would rather see something that I have not seen elsewhere as the daily update.
VB is specifically design for DVDs, so I expect them to post DVDs from external producers. If Twistys posted the DVDs sperately from th normal updates I would not care because it would be considered extra content. Instead they are posting is the daily update making it main content. I would like to see something I could not buy on DVD posted as main site content for the daily update.
It is based on what I expect from the site. I expect DVD updates as the main content from VB, but I expect something brand new from Twistys as the updates. DVDs is just nor their thing. Also, there are other reasons for the difference in score, such as the file names and media quality.

I honestly do not know. I did not take long enough to download site to get to know their update schedule. based on the ratio of picture sets to videos I would say it would be maybe once in two weeks or more. You could always email the webmaster.
