A great, detailed review. I just joined this site and also find the navigation awkward: when browsing through the gallery or the updates, the right-hand navigation menu isn't fully synchronised with the selected scene, so you have to know which year the scene is from and then expand that year on the right-hand navigation menu, but once you do that, you'll see the scene highlighted.
If I were to post a review, there'd be nothing I could add that you haven't already covered.

I've just signed up for a two day trial which seems to allow full access to the site.
I'll add to the other replies to this review which I completely agree with. One thing that I noticed with some of the hi-def videos is that they're a little soft/fuzzy in places, probably because the 4k bitrate for the 1280x720 videos is somewhat insufficient - the videos would be improved with a 4800k-5000k bitrate. There does seem to be less content on this site compared with previous visits but that could just be my imagination, but it'd be nice if more of the old (small) content was recoded as 720p hi-def (assuming the original shoot was hi-def).
I'm unlikely to be joining this site again on a one month subscription.
