That is what is so boggling - if their site looked like a throw-back to the 90's, I'd expect the ads. Other than the ads, the site is quite polished, easy to use and contemporary and rather attractive. I have to give them credit that they've obviously designed the site with the ads in mind - they are jutting out and screwing up the page design.

Thanks! I'm hoping they'll fix the negatives because they are mainly technical errors in nature. I understand that re-encoding the movies is a big task, especially since they have over 500 of them, but at least they could post the newest ones in a larger resolution. The ads - while they don't hinder searching - it is just bad form... and annoying.

That is wonderful news about the end of the reign of DRM at GGG! I've been waiting for that day for many years, and have signed up multiple times despite it (and as I have ways, tedious ways but still ways, around it).
As for your Con about the video style - I certainly understand how you could hate it. It is extremely harsh, makes much use of being hand held and the sets and costuming are aggressively unpolished. However, having watched years of John Thompson's work, I assure you this is very intentional and the camera operators are quite skilled. Despite making use of the mobility of a hand held camera (shooting extreme low angles, between appendages, et cetera) rarely do their videos exhibit that nauseating shaking and lost sense of purpose (aiming randomly around the scene). So my point is simply that they have developed this look and maintain it quite diligently - while I would never photograph a scene this way myself, I fear GGG wouldn't quite be the same without that style. It is the type of pornography that still manages to polarize people, and that is admirable in a society that is so numb to so much.
Anyway, thanks for the interesting review and the good news.

Good to know! The Canon 5D is a very respectable camera and usually doesn't exhibit that massive amount of noise seen in the high res samples nor the auto focus mishaps. I wish I could afford a camera of such a level. If he is Canon fan, that would no doubt explain the noise produced by the older camera.
So please do update those high res samples! I doubt I'm the only photography freak that would be worried by those. Thanks to your response however, I will be moving the site up to high priority for review as I do like Skokoff's style in choice of models, poses and sets as shown on the preview pages.
Also, it is always nice to see that webmasters do take notice to the site. Cheers!

Indeed JPEG artifacts can be a villainous sort, but do not appear to be the perpetrators in this case. Still, the models are quite fetching and the photographer has a well developed style. I will certainly keep an eye on this site. Thanks for the engaging review.

How is the full resolution photo quality? I just went through the photo galleries section of their tour and while I like the models and the poses, I was a bit stunned by the lack of image quality in their high resolution examples. The photos had tons of digital noise and it looked like the auto focus might be a bit off. Despite seemingly nice lighting, sets and props, I'm guessing that they are using a rather low end DSLR camera. My Nikon D50 honestly shows less noise in its photos - and it retailed at around $600. Maybe they are using a low-end Canon. Are these examples relevant to their latest work?

lol, in a sense, but usually that is a more rudimentary download manager. The one I always recommend is DownThemAll! - it integrates directly with Firefox (meaning it pulls passwords from Firefox so you don't have to remember them) and has tons of sweet features like Download Acceleration (which I rarely use), downloading all the links on a page and so on.

Yes, as I had mentioned, 30 years ago it was certainly still quite a big deal. Though I must disagree with the comment that "as well as no black women in porn of any kind" - my pin-up favorite Sylvia McFarland is evidence of that. I'll grant you that black women were less visible in main-stream porn, no doubt - but if you had the motivation (and time and money), it was available.
As for the contrast in color, that can be interesting, but I find the novelty of it wears off quickly and then what keeps the scene alive is the performance itself and the attractiveness of the performers as well. A simple contrast of color will not support a scene for me. Though it must be said it could add that hard to describe x-factor that can make a good scene into a great scene. So, that all said, that is why I find it somewhat silly that it remains an established niche.

Have you actually had your account disabled for doing this? I only ask because I regularly use a download manager on a sister site ATK Natural & Hairy and have never run into an issue. I do limit my manager to one connection at a time however. Takes a bit longer but I find not doing that upsets many adult sites.

As a niche I've always found it a silly distinction. I understand how it used to be taboo as little as 30 years ago but these days the fact that it is still considered an important fetish amazes me. I'm much more interested in attractiveness and skill of the performers - granted their skin color can be a factor in their attractiveness but not hinging upon its relation to their partner's skin color. So while I have found many scenes that I love that fall in the Interracial category, I don't by any means specifically hunt for that content.

Hard to give a precise count right now because I'm actually downloading photos at the moment, but a rough estimate puts it around 60k. Give or take a few 10k. When push comes to shove, I'd generally take photos over videos, but by their nature, I've got more space dedicated to videos than photos.

Glad you liked the review :-) The commentary goes along way for making this site what it is, just browse through their catalog (since they are also a token site, everything is on display). I was ignoring the commentary at first glance but once you start reading them it really becomes addictive, lol

I once forgot to cancel, but more importantly forgot to write down the billing company (back when canceling was much more difficult). I haven't had much in the way of mistakes though, I've been lucky with the pre-checked trial sites, they were very cheap and I canceled them immediately. No virus laden sites either. I did join one site that was entirely made of crap bonus sites, that was disappointing, but at least I didn't pay much for it.

LOL, #1 Reviewer? Wow! Haha, that is quite the compliment though I'm sure the accuracy of it is debatable, lol Still, I can't say it doesn't put a little spring in my step :-)
Anyway, I gotta say, prior to this site I sort of felt all DVD sites were basically copies of each other. Hell some sites were just clones with only a different header graphic, see BrazzersBox as an example. So I used to keep a membership with the leader site just because it was cheap and easy. But these guys have managed to do something different within such a restrained niche, and that is really something of an achievement.

Glad you liked the review! I was genuinely blown away by their search engine - and as folks may know, I have a serious search engine obsession, so that is saying something, lol
Their DVD collection really is remarkably diverse, the fact that they can catalog 15 individual fetishes I think illustrates that pretty well. I was checking the previous reviews here and it seems they've tripled the size of their collection in a year, that ain't bad progress at all. 50 DVDs a month really should be enough to keep anyone entertained presuming the diversity remains catered too.
The Editorial picks and commentary were the unexpected bonus that really endeared me to this site. The picks genuinely haven't let me down so far; scenes with that honor always have something special that makes them memorable and that is saying a lot in current porn. The commentary though, god is that stuff funny, and so very tweaked most of the time, lol
Yeah, you really can't beat that year deal - I'm not one to usually recommend dropping a Benjamin on porn, but if you can honestly download their entire collection in under a year, at the rate they are adding DVDs, then you have too much time on your hands :-P

Try a download acceleration utility (DownThemAll! for Firefox is great). Some sites basically require it to get descent download speeds. Though many sites don't support it all, which is unfortunate.
