Yeah, I joined a site once that hid the fact that they were streaming only. The Terms of Service were vague at best. I added a comment here and the webmaster threatened to sue me.

You might be right that this site is pretty much dead and that the 'old' download limit is from that time too. I'm not a member so I can't tell you if they update at all.

I'm no fan of download limits either, but I guess a site can choose to do what it wants. Same with streaming-only sites. But I will say that a limit this low (the terms of service indicate a 1.5GB limit) makes no sense and would only serve to annoy customers and deter potential customers.

Interesting review. I love 'classic' porn from the late 80s through to the mid 90s and this site seems to have a lot to offer. I might give this site a try now that I know what the flaws are.
One question: the tour pages are arranged to suggest that the scenes are listed separately. Is there an option in the member pages to select a movie and see all the scenes in that movie (like they do at Videobox)?

Good review. Thanks for the info on this site. The preview ability for the site is pretty weak. There doesn't appear to be any option to download any samples of the photos though there is one sample video. A couple of the thumbnails lead me to a question that you may be able to answer: is there any public nudity on the site?

Excellent review!
I'm a fan of this site too. While I'm a big fan of the Day 1 auditioning, what I don't like is that finding Day 2 through 4 can be a bit of a chore. They might call Day 1 "Seven Whore Roundup" and then the remaining days are named after the model they chose on Day 1. That's a bit of a issue for me.
Like you also, I wish there was some option to mix-and-match some Kink stuff with one membership. (Actually, you can sort of do that with the addition of the Kink Channel with Videobox, but the file resolutions are lower on VB than you can get on kink.)

Thanks for the review. I'm a huge fan of the Kink network but I've never been a member of this site. It interests me, and I've considered it, but I just haven't done it. I might have to join you in giving it a try.
BTW - I got an email about a new Kink site that just went live. It is called Bound Gangbangs, or something to that effect. It looks pretty good though it is still pretty small.

I didn't download any HD stuff (but I may go back later and get some favorite scenes in HD) but I'd agree with you. All the broken links occur in videos before they started posting HD. So if you're going in to get HD only you likely won't find any broken links at all.

Thanks for your kind words. I get so many advantages from reading other's reviews here that I feel compelled to put some effort into mine so that people might find them useful. And I should add that the PU's increasing the allowable length of reviews makes it so much easier to capture everything important.
In my reply to gaypornlover, I said that the biggest problem was the sheer number of broken links, but after thinking about your comment re the wide chasm between file quality, I'm unsure which is the bigger problem. They're both bad. We can be certain that the file resolution was a conscious decision they made, and maybe it makes sense for them if most of their customers prefer mp4 files. But other sites offer HD wmv files so it can be done. And when checking file specs for the review i was really surprised to see that wmv file quality has actually decreased. That makes no sense.
But... for all its warts, I'd still recommend the site since it really does give access to a huge quantity of really well done porn. In his review last year, exotics4me stated that the site s great for those of us with a large collection of DVD porn who want to "round out your collection nicely." That's a big draw for me since this was a way to get some exclusive scenes of some favourite models that I couldn't get anywhere else.

To be fair, the site design is weak, but I suspect that the inability to remember passwords is just a technical glitch. The bigger problem, by far, are the broken links. It was frustrating to see a title that I'd been wanting to see for a long time only to find the link broken. So close, but yet so far! I can't imagine that the site managers don't know this problem exists. If they can't or won't fix it then they should remove the scenes from the site.

I'm not tech-savvy, but if possible, I think it's always a good idea to offer options. This site is known for large file sizes so having HD only would eliminate customers who have slower download speeds or bandwidth caps.
On a related note, I've discovered another issue with the site. While I've moved beyond the older material on the site (the stuff posted earliest, not necessarily produced first) I'm seeing fewer broken links. I'm downloading the highest resolution wmv files and some, though not many, of those still have broken links. I always try another resolution and sometimes the only one that works in 'AVI Xvid.' This might be a proprietary codec since it tries to download a licence from a site drm.ztod.com, which is no big deal, except that the link to download the licence is broken!!! Grrrrr...

Thanks for this information. I suspected that the scenes at TT18 weren't exclusive to that site but could also be found on TMW. Since that's true, TMW is the far better value. It is exponentially larger for only $5 more.
Met Art also has a site called Club Met Art. I didn't really research that well and it is a much smaller version of the main site. The same warning applies there - you're better off joining the main site. I'll put a review of Club Met Art soon.

Thanks for pointing out that TWM and Blowpass have the same content. I didn't know that. I'm a regular subscriber to Blowpass and an occasional subscriber to TWM and I'd be disappointed to learn that they shared scenes and that the better choice was Blowpass. Luckily TWM hasn't been on my radar for a couple of years so I haven't wasted any of my porn budget.

I don't have any advice to offer you but if it's any consolation, I've been there before too. I suspect that a lot of us have been there whether we'd admit it or not. I got badly burned and had to cancel a card just to get the recurring charges stopped.
Oddly, and I don't know why this is, but the bank/CC company wouldn't do what was likely easier for everyone - block that charge going forward. Their position was that I authorized it once and therefore I authorized charges in perpetuity regardless of the fact that I was telling them different.
After that incident, I refuse to give my CC number to a biller I don't know and trust. If I do want to join a site with an unknown biller I buy a gift card with a sufficient amount on it to cover the cost. It's more expensive but it's also safer. I did that once with a site/biller that I had burned me in the past and I watched as they tried to charge me for subsequent months all while ignoring my emails to cancel. The card didn't have sufficient balance on it to cover what they wanted but they tried over and over and over.
Fuckers.

I did see your review and I intended to comment on it before I posted my review. I think they work well together.
I can't remember who it was - it may have been you - warned me to join Teen Mega World instead and I followed that advice and did. I'm glad I did because it is a great network and I still get access to the massage scenes.

Great review and very useful. After having a membership to Massage Creep I learned I have a bit of a thing for massage videos. I'll probably take a look at the better sites that you mention and for people reading your review and comments I'd definitely add Massage Creep to the list of good massage-themed sites. Massage Creep is probably one of my favorite sites that I spent some time at this year.

At least you've proved that it's possible though. I just cancelled both a Swallowed and True Anal subscription billed through Customercare.co and while I definitely would prefer a self-serve portal I did get a confirmation email that both were cancelled.

If you have any tips as to how you managed to join with Epoch I'd really appreciate hearing them. I need to cancel both my Swallowed and True Anal accounts and since both were billed through Customercare.co I had to email them and now I have to watch my email for confirmation that the accounts get cancelled. It's not even that I don't trust Customercare, it's just that I want self-service and immediate conformation that the account won't be rebilled.
