Thanks for reviewing this pat. I didn't know that this had been spun off as a separate studio site. I like Harmony's stuff and have a lot of it, but I'd like to get it in higher resolution. The TBP stats say that the files are 1920x1080 but the other reviewers say that 1080 is the highest and most are 720 even if they're labelled as 1080. I'm particularly interested in the early titles in the [i]Slam It series and the [/i]Young Harlots series. Any advice will be appreciated.

You are lucky about one thing - at least when you clicked the join page you found out that it lacked encryption. I had an email about a new site called XXX Pawn a few weeks back that looked interesting so I clicked the join button to see what the price was. What I didn't know was that it was a Bang Bros site and they had retained my credit card information so I didn't get any price information - I was signed up. At $20 for a site with six or seven scenes. And true to Bang Bros form with all of their add-on sites, cancelling was not easy. Since Haze Her and Dancing Bear are Bang Bros sites, if you join make sure to start the cancellation process well in advance of a rebill because you may need that time to get the membership cancelled.
Bang Bros has some great porn but the have the business ethics of the mob.

messmer - I wish I could give you a better answer, but I really can't remember it that well. My recollection is that there were two bonus sites but that the material wasn't that great. It wasn't worth joining just to get the bonus sites. The primary site, HD Porn, is a great site though and I intend to renew my membership soon. I wish I could be of more help... sorry!

Thanks for replying to my message with some interesting information. I suspect that a driving factor for a lot of EE/Russian models in porn (gay and straight) is that is it probably a factor of the economies in many of those places. But then again, the same can be said in North America. If a young person with no marketable skills other than their looks wants to make some money then porn can be an option.

I have to admit that while I don't have any real interest in gay sites (nothing against them, I'm just straight) I make it a point to read all well-written reviews and that includes the ones you write.
I have a question though - it seems like a higher proportion of gay sites have Eastern European and Russian models (or maybe just non-American) than I'm used to seeing with straight porn. I'll confess that I haven't thought this through at all and that since I don't collect a lot of EE/Russian porn that may skew my perception. But is there a relatively high proportion of EE/Russian models in the gay side of the industry?

That would be great since it would be an already-discounted way into the network.
I realized this morning that when I had my last Sex and Submission membership that I forgot to re-download a few scenes in the highest def available. They're older but among my favorites. If you get a chance, check out the scenes with Kat and with Sasha Grey. Both are great.

I hadn't thought about the probability that we're subsidizing some of the BDSM scene in San Francisco. You might be right! But like you, that probably won't cause me to stop taking memberships there because the material is so good.
One of the main reasons that I check my email is to watch for offers from Kink. The great thing about them is that the offers actually mean something. I regularly get offers from past sites that are really valueless because they don't actually offer any enticement to rejoin.

Thanks for the comments. I think we're on the same page when it comes to pricing issues, but we just differ a bit on how big a deal it is. I'm a big fan on most Kink stuff (some cynics might even think I'm shilling in my reviews, but I'm not. I'm a paying customer.) The production values in all Kink sites justifies the price for me. I suspect that they have to charge this much to cover their costs (and make a profit too) and they have to do this from a smaller customer base.
I also agree that the scenes can seem repetitive. This happens for a lot of their stuff. But, for me that only occurs if I'm watching one scene after another. The innovation and uniqueness comes through if I dabble in the scenes rather than dive in head first.
On your question re pricing, it has been my experience that once you are registered as a paying member on one site you get a $10 discount on memberships to other sites. I don't know if this is a hard-and-fast rule, but it has always occured for me.
If you haven't already done it, make sure to create a free account and ask to be on the mailing list. I'd say at least once a month I get an offer for a discount on one site or another. Recently I got an offer I couldn't refuse: 99 cent one-day access to a few sites which was an excellent opportunity to get inside and take a closer look at some a new site. (And when I was in one a one-day membership I signed up for another site I really wanted and got a $10 discount too) I only wish they'd make that offer on more sites because there are several (Ultimate Surrender is one) that I'd like to check out but don't think I'd have enough interest to warrant the monthly fee.

I've had similar problems a few times in the past. My issues have almost always been through some fraudulent cam site membership associated with a site I've joined. I've always been able to get the problems resolved though. See if you can find a phone number and give them a call. In my experience the admin people can tell pretty quickly that the membership has been hacked. The good news is that even though my membership was hacked my card was always safe because that information was held by the biller

I just got around to reading your review.
I'm a big fan of most anal sites and Holed is definitely up there as one of my favourites. Like you, I like that they have an element of glamour to them. That sets them apart from HardX but aligns them with Tushy as you point out.
Holed has one of my all-time favourite scenes. It's the scene with Megan Rain and Adria Rae called "Best Friends Anal." Jesus, it's amazing. It doesn't hurt that these are two of my favourite models either. But the thing that amazes me most is they take a double-ended dildo in their mouths and each of them takes it deep enough so that their lips touch.

I was too late to edit my earlier reply but I just rejoined as as soon as I logged in I had an offer to join a bunch of related sites for $70USD. Those sites are Casting Couch X, Exotic 4K, Fantasy HD, Lubed, My Very First Time, Nanny Spy, Passion HD, POVD, Pure Mature, Spy Fam and Tiny 4K. It doesn't look like the offer is for a full year though but it is still a great value.

I can vouch for it as well. This is an amazing site and well worth joining if you're into anal. I'm not a member there now but in the past they have also made an offer to members that is too good to refuse. For approximately $70USD they'll increase your membership to one year and add in a bunch of additional sites that are great too. It's well worth joining.

I hear you. I took the annual offer when the CDN dollar was in better shape.
I've been rethinking the whole intro thing and I have to confess that I find those really annoying on just about every other site that uses them. But for some reason I like the Holed intro. I suspect it has nothing to do with the 'quality' or unobtrusiveness of it (because it doesn't really have either) and more to do with the fact that it has young petite models sticking things in their bums in a rapid succession of clips. I'm male, and I guess I respond to those things! :-)

I wouldn't join Holed for an annual membership alone but I joined it first as a stand-alone site and still really liked it. It was only later when I joined Passion HD that I had the offer that bundled in Holed and several other sites I really like such as Tiny 4K, My Very First Time and Lubed. So I will admit that the value is in the bundled annual membership.
The opening doesn't bother me at all, in fact, I sort of like it.

It's rare that you and I disagree on a site but this is one of those times. Holed is probably in my top 5 favourite sites these days. I had joined Passion HD a while back and was then offered and annual subscription that included access to a few other sites and Holed was one of them so I jumped at the chance. It may be that I see the site as better since it is part of a network for me.
You did justify all your concerns and made this a great review for someone considering joining.

There are several producers/director/stars who post there regularly. I don't think there is anything special about that forum over what we have here, it's just that here we're more about site information rather than the personalities themselves.

It isn't a file-sharing site so you don't have to worry about that. I've included a link to the last page of the thread. Bryan used to be active on the thread but a few people annoyed him with some complaints and he hasn't been back. He is active on his own site's forum though.
I'll give you this on one condition - you need to keep being active here! The two forums (TBP/PU and ADT) are quite different and each have their own strengths.
