It’s funny how much alike our reactions to this site are and that the reasons for those reactions are almost identical. Like you, I’m coming off of a Young Legal Porn membership and that membership really changed porn for me. I don’t mean to sound like I’m exaggerating because I’m not. I’ve been buying online porn for a long time and YLP was like a breath of fresh air. (A minor difference for me is that my favourite models are Gloria and Ivana.) I was thinking of joining Videobox again but I just don’t have the desire to join another site with generic porn. Viv Thomas isn’t necessarily generic porn – it’s actually great porn – but it does follow the model of most other mainstream porn. When I write a review I’m going to try to be objective and not subjective. Had I joined Viv Thomas before YLP I’m sure I’d have liked it a lot more. That’s no criticism of Viv Thomas since I suspect that would have happened to any site that followed YLP.

All of us have had to enter home addresses every time we join a site. Like tangub said above, the site doesn't get the address so there is no reason to worry about getting porn stuff in the mail. Also, they have your email address and that costs almost nothing for them to send you offers while an actual mailing would be pretty expensive. Just make sure to set up a separate email account because you will get spammed there.

Great review! I joined using the Halloween special they had and I'm impressed too. I'd never heard of Viv Thomas, probably because I don't collect a lot of European porn, but this is a seriously good site. I agree that the site is big enough that it needs better navigation.

I checked the terms of the contract and they do spell out that there is a daily limit, and it is a bit confusing in that there is a limit of 10GB. I'm not really sure how to interpret the part where you can additionally download 15 big movies.
Here's the exact clause in the contract:
E. Download Limit
As a member in good standing, you may download up to 10 gigabytes of data each day, and additionally up to 15 big movies. Upon reaching this limit, you may be denied access to download any additional data until the beginning of the next day.

I can understand why a site might want to impose a download limit - obviously a member with a high-speed connection can download a lot of stuff in a day. But... I'm with you when it comes to hating them. For me, I'd think twice about joining a site that imposed a limit - especially one like RK where the limit doesn't seem logical.

I haven't been a member here for maybe five or more years and I can't really explain why. Of the stuff I bought at that time, Nubiles gets viewed very regularly as so many of the models are really beautiful. I think I'll have to head back for another membership soon.

Great review of what looks like a great site even with the shortcomings you pointed out. I suspect I'll give it some consideration, but for now I probably won't join thanks to two simple words in your review: "no anal." Thanks for that detail. I'm sure I'm not the only member here who like to see at least some anal on a large site.

I'm mixed on it. I don't like it because I'd like to see it, but it does add to her allure. I suspect that for straight versus gay porn it might be different though since vaginas are pretty much all alike whereas penises are quite differnt from guy to guy. A solo female model could do this, but I doubt a solo male model could get away with it.

Too little, too late really seems to sum it up. Playboy is a brand with a lot of recognition and like so many older studios and brands (I'm looking at you, Hustler) they seemed to miss the boat with the internet. I haven't looked at the Playboy site in a while, but the last time I did look I wasn't compelled to join. If Playboy wanted to do it right they could have a huge success on the internet.
It speaks volumes that most of the active PU members are of an age where Playboy means something and no one has posted a review.
I suspect I'll stop in and check out their tour pages.
