I would also that ALS' new site has it all over that DDFBeauties site in terms of clarity. I took a look at DDFBeauties and it's pretty difficult to figure out what one would be getting for $2.50 - if you look at the model listing and click on a scene, there's no "buy-the-scene" option. Do you get pics-and-vid when you buy a scene there? What's the resolution?
All that important stuff is presented with a great deal more clarity at this new ALS site.
Perhaps the DDF site has the disadvantage of being around longer and not having the concept as well thought-out and presented.

For a period of time, they displayed the sites in order by when you got access - and even had notes on them on the home page "Instant Access", "Loyalty Bonus", etc to give you a pretty comprehensive idea of what you got access to when before you joined.
They don't do that any longer - but, I believe that you now get access to all of the Premium Sites - PixandVideo.com, ClubSandy.com and Zoliboy.com - when you join, which was not the case when they had the former arrangement - and I believe that you have access to all sites by the 3rd month of your membership in the current set-up, where they used to dole them out 2 sites at a time.

Well, as I wrote in a comment to another thread, at PixandVideo, though they have on the site that you have access to 46 sites in the network, the number of sites in the drop-down menu and the list of "Websites" is 44 - one of the "secret" sites is Gapeland - and you can access it only by going through recent scenes and clicking on one of the scenes from that site, then following that back door to check out the site itself.
I "assume" that there is another such secret site that PixandVideo members have access to - and isn't that a wonderful change to the database? Whoopee!!

With the new interface, VB has made the same error that Naughty America made. Naughty America put all that energy into yapping about the members being Naughty Americans and electing a President of Naughty America - paying him a bunch of money, putting him up in a nice condo, etc - going on about the Naughty America community, blah, blah blah - and who could give a flying fuck?
VB's former interface was service-able - could have stood some improvements that were meaningful to members that just cared about the product. Instead, they went for some "community" idea, where the whole thing is members having profiles they spend a bunch of time on and which members are going to be their friends, blah blah blah - and who could give a flying fuck?
Meanwhile - the presentation of the material that we're paying for sucks! Click on any DVD cover and it looks like shit. The previews look like shit. Click on your channels and the information is wrong. So it's just garbage.

Yeah - it's weird. At PixandVideo, they are still referring to 46 sites, however when you look through the drop-down menu or click on the websites tab and go through them there, there are only 44 sites presented.

I looked it up after I started seeing photo sets from ATK Exotics at ATK Petites labeled "Dime Piece" and was thinking - "WTF?"
Of course the curators of ATK Exotics have different tastes than mine, so I rarely concurred with their judgement that the photosets posted as "Dime Piece" photosets matched the definition above.
I recommend that they go to a more descriptive categorization, but I suspect that they're quite happy being the only porn site with a "Dime Piece" category and will keep it as is.

A few examples

Well, let me clue you in - many non-nude models started going mid-core and/or hardcore several years ago. The non-nude model thing is fairly moribund these days - there are some non-nude models, but nothing like it was during the hey-day of Tiffany Teen, Next Door Nikki, etc.
To make up for the fact that she still doesn't want to show much, Nikki "fleshes out" her site with licensed material of other full-nude models and partners with a variety of models, including hard-core models for her website network and cam show network.

If you click on the TBP link, they are only offering the monthly join, with a decreasing rate of payment - however from the TBP link, you start off paying $10 less for that first month than you otherwise would.
If you don't go through the TBP link you will be offered a choice of the monthly join with a decreasing rate starting at $29.95 for the first month - or an annual membership.

Lots of models have shifted their focus. Lots of models work the Am-pro market when they first get started, doing some work for Karups or ATK or Nubiles, etc and frequently that involves doing a hard-core scene as well as full-nude material - and then they decide that's not what they really want to do and they scale it back.
But the thing is with that material - the sites own them and the sites need VERY good reasons to take the material down - so it stays, to be discovered over and over and over again by new fans of the model for years to come.
Karen Dreams is a perfect example of this. People are still "discovering" her handful of hardcore scenes that she did for Karups, I believe, when she first started modeling. Then she went in a "tease" direction and has never repeated.

It's the first I've ever heard of this. I don't see a link on Twistys site to access this material and I don't see where there has ever been a mention of the site in the Twistys Forum - such as telling Twistys members that they have access.

Micro-sites - new business model?

If you're a Jenna fan, you'll very likely be frustrated at the lack of updates. The last vid update on Jenna's site was 10/28/10. Jenna has expressed frustration that the people that have responsibility for updating the site with the material she provides aren't. She really needs to get other people to do that.
It's one of the bizarre elements of this network that the various sites seem independent of each other and have responsibility to do their thing independent of Premium Pass, which basically hosts the whole thing.
Some sites update a lot, like Lexi Belle's site - and Lexi can be counted on to do cam shows when advertised. Other sites, like Shawna Lenee's and haven't updated since June 2010.
Some of the porn babes don't show for cam shows when scheduled or have never worked out the Stream-mate kinks so that members of this network actually have access to their shows. |

Lots to see for new members:
Jenna's site has 149 vids - many exclusive to this site - tease vids - many from her recent DVD's - "Darkside" to the present and 121 photo sets - most are small sets
Jules Jordan's sites - there are a few - but all the material can be accessed through JulesJordan.com - have over 500 vids and over 240 photo sets - updates continue at a good rate on Jules' sites.
Lexi Belle's site started up at the end of January 2009, but she's done a lot for her site, so there are already 89 vids and 79 photosets - she's doing a lot of work for Juliland.com, as is Audrey Bitoni - both of them post their Juliland.com work on their respective sites - that stuff is very odd and surreal - similar to Gregory Dark in his hey-day.
Premium Pass also posts vids and photosets, some of which are actually good, most of which are the type that you'll find on all the porn DVD sites - standard licenced stuff.
The frustrating stuff about this network is the glitchiness - the no-show cam shows by people like Tori Black and Tori Lane or the - no-access cam shows months after they moved to the current network, which they should have figured out by now if they gave a shit.
The lack of recent updates on Jenna's site - especially vids and updated of her cam show archives - pisses me off. Jenna's a BUSY woman and she just needs to find someone reliable to run the site for her and kick whoever she's paying now to the curb.
That fact makes me bring the score of the site and network down to 70. If I were mainly joining because of Lexi Belle, I'd probably score it quite a bit higher. |

I got really cheap prices and was never able to enjoy this site for more than a month at a time.
One MAJOR "con" for me was that there is some site in this network that has a lot of "fucking fat dwarves" movies - so when I would click on "new scenes" to see what the updates were, there would some pic of some guy fucking a fat dwarf and that was anti-erotic enough to make me lose interest in the whole fucking network until that was off the screen.
Frankly the only site in this network that had consistent interest for me was Rocco's site.
