I am unaware of what is in the DVDs, so can't help you there. They have a link to purchase their movies from their site and a lot of their content is in the preview so you might be able to figure out if it is worth it to you.
The model directory is more or less worthless, they only list a few of the main models on the site (like 30 I think), I'd look but my membership expired. When you go to the scenes it lists most of the models that do anything sexual in the scene in the desription, however it is quite difficult to tell if it is everybody. I doubt the girls that are standing around topless and not really involved are always mentioned.
Just wanted to note that I can browse while downloading, and I have been able to download reasonably fast (400KB/s), while nowhere near maxing out my 7mbps connection, it isn't that bad.
Most of your other notes appear to still apply, however.

Like my rating suggests, average site. If you have the time to dig through it all or have a specific fetish (clothed sex, for example) this might be a good site for you - but I'd look at all the sites first and make sure it is what you want). Some sites don't appear to update often, if at all. If it were a little cheaper and they greatly improved the navagation (put everything on one site, have a full model index) I would probably recommend it.
The navigation of this site is terrible now, I wouldn't join if that is a big concern of yours. As I said before, I actually thought it was better before, it only shows recent sets of the models now (as you said) and digging through the "archive" is such a pain in the ass, i gave up after a while - who has the time?

This used to be one of my favorite sites on the net, and with the deal they had to get access to all the DDF sites for one price I decided to join again. Sorry to say it has gone way downhill. The navigation was always slightly annoying, but it has gone from bad to rediculous. Their archive section is impossible to sort through now (used to have these nice pull-down menus in the archives, but I couldn't find this anywhere).
Even though you get access to all the DDF sites for one price, I still thought it was a ripoff, especially with the duplicated (or alternately edited) content. Not worth it anymore, especially if you have been a member previously.

Disappointed they took down the Nella hardcore scene, I think it was the only one around.
A lot of the sites aren't really my cup of tea (several are MILF sites, several are large breast sites), but if you like that sort of stuff you might like this site more than I did.
Bottom Line:
Interesting collection of sites, although hasn't really changed much since I joined the first time a couple of years ago. Several of the network sites don't appear to update any longer.
Joined because there was a thing about bangbus on some Playboy TV show I saw a couple of weeks ago and was intrigued if it had gotten better. Most of the content seems pretty much the same
I agree with exotics that while the comedy can be entertaining sometimes, it can be pretty damn annoying also.
Bottom line, I'd say worth joining for a look around especially if you are into large breasts, MILFs, latinas, or so called "reality porn" - especially at the TBP price.

The site organization itslef is pretty good, although the dieselaccess site is really irritating, and for some reason slows my computer terribly.

For some reason sites with the stupid "access key" that logs you off all the time really piss me off. The dieselaccess site is agonizingly slow on my computer, although download speeds are good.
If you pay for the 3-month all-access membership you get access to the following sites: ivanafukalot.com, youngporn.net, 18onlygirls, virginoff, alicewonderbang, laythekat, sashafucksdasha, thespermlover, policeman.net, natasashy.com, kamilla18.com. The vast majority of these sites don't update anymore and a LOT of the content is duplicated on other other sister sites, there were a couple of scenes I saw on 3 different sites - why bother? The one I found most intrigueing was the policeman.net site - the sonia red and aneta (veronika J) scenes were pretty good, this site appears to be one that no longer updates.
There is another site listed, vikanymph.com, but for some reason the all-access pass does not give you access to this site. Odd.
That said, the site is pretty good for athletic euros, maybe worth joining if you are into that. However, I would recommend against joining the all access site as a lot of the content, particularly the good scenes, are already on youngporn.net
Just wanted to note that the trial is not full-access. You can download zips of the photos, but can't access the videos. Also, it renews at a much higher price (as noted here) which is pretty stupid. Basically they are hoping you forget to cancel the pointless trial.

Good price for the quantity of content
The site has a good organization concept, I liked being able to search by nationality. I don't think I've seen that anywhere before.

Cons:
Not many photos, if that is your thing. and most are screen caps.
Video quality is not always great. Most is 720x480, the older stuff is 480x360 or worse.
I don't think a lot of the content is exclusive, as most is pulled from DVDs or other old websites (BrunoB for example)
Some of the star facts are flat out wrong, but that isn't such a big deal I guess.
Bottom Line:
Overall I think it is a really good site. It had some hardcore stuff by Sophie Moon, Aneta Keys, Mia Stone and Eve Angel I hadn't seen before. Has a pretty good collection of porn stars from all over.
They could use some work on organizing it right, some stars info and nationalities are wrong. But I think (especially with euro stars) there is a lot of conflicting info out there.
I believe if you go to pornstarnetwork.com you can preview the whole site before joining (like videobox).
Definitely worth joining for a month, especially for $19.99

As you can tell, I was not fond of this site. While I found the concept intriguing the execution is terrible. In my opinion the entire spicetv network of sites should never be joined until they resolve their many issues. Some of the content is good, and some of the women are quite attractive, but all the navigation problems (particulary no single-file download and DRM) make the site next to worthless. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your porn needs. The fact that I listed "ease of cancellation" as I couldn't really think of any other good points of the site is evidence enough that you shouldn't join.
I forgot to mention, the reason I thought Twistys hard was not frequently updated is because of the dates you have listed:
Nov 30 2008 - Mar 18 2009 - 7 updates.
That's like 1 a month, not 14. I didn't realize you didn't start doing it until a few weeks ago, although it does seem more frequent for the past couple of weeks. Since I have only been a member for a few weeks that date range certainly makes it seem as though updates are uncommon...

Joined primarily as it supposedly had hard core scenes with some of my favorite models (piper fawn and aneta keys). Unfortunately the aneta keys hardcore scene was nowhere to be found. I guess it got removed from the site. Expensive, but may be worth joining for month if you are into certain european models (eurobabeindex has a pretty comprehensive listing of who they have), however given it is no longer updated it certainly isn't worth more than a month. The bonus content is good if you like handjob stuff.
Oh and exotics4me, I adjusted my 1byday score down, after giving your comments some thought.
I had a full month membership, and I did check out all the bonus sites (except bustyones - not my style). whengirlsplay was okay, but i'm not a fan of anette dawn - although if you were i'm sure you'd love that site - and naughtystaff wasnt that interesting so I didn't consider any of them much of a pro.

I looked back at your site and I agree there is more hardcore than I made it sound like there was, however not much that I was interested in.
I wouldn't necessarily try to change the site to meet everyone's needs. The one thing I would change is to get rid of the two "bonus sites" that aren't bonus at all.
I believe if you look at my other reviews you will see that I don't typically rank sites all that high, I am just trying to abide by PU's review guidelines.
Perhaps I am being a bit unfair. Certainly Twistys has a much better price than 1byday. I would have posted a review of 1byday, but I was a member like 6 months ago and didn't think it would be appropriate to post a full review of a site I haven't been a member of in so long. Perhaps 90% of the models on 1byday are on Twistys, but in my opinion the style of the shoots and the quality of photographs on 1byday is significantly better. Or perhaps it is the 10% that are different that made the difference. Maybe if I had joined 1byday after Twistys, I would have felt more lukewarm about 1byday, but there are several sets I have downloaded from 1byday that are amongst my favorites, and I would not put any set I downloaded from twistys in that group.
Perhaps I should not have used the term "fake breasted", large breasted may have been a better term - as the webmaster called me out on this, which is not typically my preference.
There were also general things that irritated me and might have colored my review somewhat:
-I prefer photos, and I found many of the photos to be mediocre quality in light that was way too soft for my tastes
-calling a site (even if it is only 2 of 7 or whatever) a bonus site when it is the exact same content as the main site is misleading and stupid
-while having zips to download is nice, it is much nicer when some kind of naming convention is used, a minor qualm to be sure, but something 1byday or nubiles handled much better
As far as updates go, I rarely join a site for more than a month, so that truly wasn't a concern of mine - I don't believe I have seriously considered that in any reviews I have written.
I don't think Twistys is a "bad" site, perhaps my cons made it sound worse than it is, I consider it average - which is why I rated it as such.
People may like this site, and I could see why, but it isn't a site for me. This is just my opinion, and the only reason I mentioned you in my review was because I have always tended to agree with your assessment of sites (at least the ones you've reviewed that i've joined).
