I'm not sure of the date or even the year. I think it was sometime in the 1950s, but definitely by the 1960s.
The first "pornographic" images I saw were photos on the back of racy playing cards. They were topless models, definitely not frontal bottomless, but also had rear bottoms exposed (just the ass cheeks, not the vagina seen from the rear that is so common today).
Those weren't my playing cards. I'm not even sure whose cards they were.
Later I graduated to looking at my brother's Playboy magazines. Wow!
Many years later I got my own subscription to Playboy magazine.

I have paid around $100 for some 1-year memberships. One problem with a 1-year membership is wondering if the site will disappear or stop updating. That's why I only do that for a major site, like Metart. I've been tempted by Metart's $799 lifetime offer, but I don't know whether Metart or I will still be around 8 years from now.

I looked at the reply of the webmaster you mentioned in a previous comment. The webmaster is supposed to be from IL. But I still wonder if English is his primary language. The English he uses in his reply is OK, but would not pass in an English class in high school. But that's common in today's internet usage.
He states there is no leased content. But if you downloaded many of these videos from another site, and some PU members mention some of these videos are at other sites, I would assume those videos were legally at the other sites. So the content at this site is definitely not entirely exclusive.

Regarding all the videos have the site logo: I assume it's fairly easy for a site to put its logo on a video or set of photos. That doesn't mean much beyond implying that the video or photos are part of their content or inventory. But that content could also be at other sites as well, with a different logo.
A lot of site webmasters do not have English as their primary language. So when you say the webmaster states the content is exclusively theirs, he might not be understanding clearly what you were asking. That's just a thought.
What logo do the videos you downloaded previously, that are also at this site, have? Do they have this site's logo? A different logo? Or no logo?
There are different types of leases, with different rights to that content. I'm not in the porn business, but I would assume that some leases might give the holder exclusive right to that content for a specified period of time.
Or someone could buy the content outright. Which would give them exclusive rights.
But what the facts are in this specific case, you would need a clear dialog with the webmaster/site owner. And like I said, some of these gentlemen have only a rudimentary understanding of English.

My maximum download speed is 620-630 KB/s, and I usually got that for downloading at these network sites. But many PU members seem to have a faster Internet connection than I do, so unless I have a problem with download speed from a site, I don't usually bother to include any comment on site download speed, because-since my speed is slower than most PU members- any information on download speed has limited value for other PU members.
But I enjoy reading about the download speed other PU members get, because I dream of the day I will get a faster connection. Lol.

Fraternities and sororities are like social clubs you can join at college or university in the United States. There is a local chapter, which is at the college or university, and a national organization for that fraternity or sorority. Fraternity for male club, sorority for female club. But I've read the old system now has variants, like female clubs calling themselves a fraternity, or a mixed-sex club of males and females.

What you say convinces me, once again, that beauty (or sex appeal) is in the eye of the beholder. I downloaded the farm girl photo set of Barbara at Errotica and then deleted it after viewing, because I just didn't like it.
I'm trying to be a little picky. Because even though Hard Drive storage is so cheap, I'm filling up these external hard drives with photo sets and videos I will probably never look at twice.

I really liked Barbara Ds first photoset, but I found her other photosets to be much less appealing. It continually amazes me how a single model can look extremely attractive in one photoset, and so much less so in other photosets. You might expect this variation due to different photographers shooting the same model. But even the same photographer can make a model have a large difference in how attractively she is presented.
Anyhow, I agree that the new naming convention at Metart is more descriptive. But like Drooler states, the older system was far easier to use, in the sense the identifying section, e.g. SRT_141, was easy to list and keep track of. I am still trying to figure out how to keep a record of these long file names for a photoset.

Until the last couple of years, I think it was unusual for males to shave their crotch area (unless they were going in for some kind of special surgery).
But I don't pay lot of attention as to whether the male is shaved down there or not. Maybe the female performer prefers it shaved. I don't really know.
As for females, shaved is the norm today. I grew up when it was the norm to have some hair down there. And that still seems more attractive than the shaved look.

So what membership did you join for? Period of membership + price? Did you get the 5 months membership and access to all 13 sites for $99? Or were you offered a different deal?
The last time I joined I got the 5 month membership, but I don't remember the price I paid. I was a member earlier this year. I totally need a brain transplant (or better yet, a fresh new body with a new brain) because my memory and the rest of me is wearing out.
