I was just trying to explain what I knew about my offer, and what Team Skeet network offers.
Anyway:
The free video is evidently a sample video, you get for free, even if you are not a site member.
OK.
As far as the prices you list, when using the PU link, I get different prices:
membership length:
1 month 17.87/month
3 months 16.62/month
12 months 7.98/month
Maybe I need to clear out my computer cache, or maybe the explanation for the different prices we are seeing is something else.
No big deal.
But if you are able to get the prices you listed, it seems like you can get a very cheap membership.

Two questions:
1.Do you live outside of the United States?
The join price for many sites can be different if you live outside of the US.
2. I don't really understand the offer you got.
Was it for a discounted membership price of $15?
And what do you mean by "a free download with regular $15 membership"?
There is no "regular" $15 membership. The regular membership listed is much higher (not listing the prices for memberships that specify a longer than 1 month membership).
Also, with a membership, you get "free" downloads of all the content at the site/network.
So a free download does not make much sense, unless you include some details about the free download.
Anyway, as far as I know, joining any one site in the Team Skeet network gives you access to all the sites in the Team Skeet network. There are now 20 sites in the network.
They advertise 7 updates per week.
Which means 1 update per day, on average.
That is for the entire network. Not for any one site.
It's a nice network. I've been a member several times. I even wrote a review about 2 years ago for PU.

Your email offer is definitely different than the one I got.
My offer states: "$7.99 a month special offer, New Year's sale, ends tomorrow."
I got the email offer on Jan 13.
And when I click on the hot link, that offer is no longer valid.
The price that is now shown is $28.97/month.
You can get a discount if you join thru PU/TBP hot link for $17.87/month recurring.

I also got some "free offers" to join Femjoy by paying $30 to join Femjoy and Nubiles.
That's the beauty of advertising: Create words to describe things in the best, most attractive way. Forget logic and common sense... For $30, you get Femjoy and Nubiles, which is the the list price of Nubiles by itself, so you are getting Femjoy for "free".
Anyway, this morning, I got a Christmas special email offer to join Femjoy for $14.95 for 1 month.
That's not "free". But maybe it's half "free"?
LOL.

I am a current member.
Never had a problem logging in.
Make sure you are entering the username/password correctly (with correct uppercase/lowercase usage).
Also have to enter the captcha shown.
I've never used their tech support, so can't comment on that.

I use Down Them All, a free program, that works well at most paysites I've joined. Including Metart. I've set up queues with 6 or more links, and can't recall any problems with the download at Metart (or most other paysites I've joined).
Try Down Them All, a free, easy to use program, and report your results.

Really pays to read the fine print.
$US99.95 every 30 days after the initial period!
Either that is a mis-print (pricing error), or a scam to trap the unwary.
I wonder how many people will be caught by this?
I've always thought Hegre was a major site, ethical.
If I was stupid enough to pay S99.95/month on re-bills, I'd never join this site again.

Cross sells are ok if unchecked, but most cross sells that I've seen are still checked, as the default option.
I think I only got caught once with a pre-checked cross sell. I immediately (within 5 minutes or less) called the billing company, but they would not reverse the charge.
So I spend a lot of time whenever I sign on to a new site, looking for the cross sell. Sometimes they are hard to find.

I also get a lot of offers from different sites. But I haven't been a member at this network for a while, and for $5, it's worth a join for me. I mean, $5: It costs me $10 to go to a movie theater, and that's with a senior discount. Lol.
So I don't go to movie theaters very much. I'd rather wait for the DVD to come out (usually in a few months after the theatrical releae), and pay $1+ at Redbox.
But some movies I wait to watch on cable.
The Lone Ranger was so bad, I waited to watch it on cable, and only watched a few minutes of it. Couldn't finish the movie, it was so stupid.
As I get older, I have less patience--and enjoyment.
I rented the last Transformers movie, that just came out with Mark Wahlberg. I only made it halfway through, before I stopped watching. I kept hoping the movie would get better, until I realized I was wasting my time on junk. Junk that made over $1 billion in box office.
I'm really glad I didn't spend $10 to see Transformers in a theater. I would have probably walked out long before the end. Something I've almost never done. But the older I get, the less patience I seem to have.

I don't follow the discounts that closely, but I agree that the $10 offers from the Metart network disappeared a while back. Which is disappointing.
Every once in a while, if you are subsribed to the Metart newsletter, which is free, you can find an interesting offer.
About a year ago, I saw an offer to join Erotic Beauty for $1/month. That includes a fixed fee of $1/month for as long as you have the subscription.
I tried to post a link to the offer at PU, but PU rules didn't allow the link.
I've never seen any other offers that good, but sometimes the Metart newsletter will offer a subscription to one of their sites for $8 or $10 for the first month.
I've been a member of Erotic Beauty for over a year now. It still costs me $1/month. But I lost the link for that offer.

I agree that it sounds like some of them don't know what they are doing.
I just got a new email today (August 15) from Metart, offering me a discount to join VivThomas for $14.99, a 50% discount.
I can't post the link at PU, because that is against their rules.
And maybe you don't want to join VivThomas, anyway.
But send me an email through the PU internal email system, and I can show you a link to join The Life Erotic for $14.99/month, rebilling at $14.99/month.
I believe The Life Erotic Link discount is still good.

Have you signed up for the Metart newsletter?
It's free. A one-page email, usually showing some covers of photo sets or videos from the network.
The email sometimes has some nice discounts for different site memberships.
The best discount was for $1/month membership to Erotic Beauty, that would never be raised in price.
PU rules didn't allow the link to access that offer to be posted on PU.
I joined Erotic Beauty, and it's cost me $12 for the 12 months I've been a member.
But no other offers came close to that one.
But sometimes you do get a nice discount to one or more sites in the Metart network in the Metart newsletter.

I haven't rejoined femjoy.
But if you send an email to their support, they might give you a few free days of membership in compensation.
I've seen that happen at some other sites when a member has problems accessing a site.
And their tech support might be able to help with the connection problem. Or not.
Even good sites seem to have problems every once in awhile.
