When I had dialup service, my download speeds were about 3-4 KB/s, but sometimes slower.
With DSL, I am getting a maximum download speed of 150-160 KB/s.
As far as structuring the poll questions, I did not know precisely how to split the speed options. I know that dialup is much slower than 100 KB/s for max download speed. But since the poll is a multiple choice format, I wanted to provide simple choices.
If the poll, instead of multiple choice, offered a way to write in each individual's actual maximum download speed, we would get a more precise idea of what PU members are using.
But I think this poll gives a nice approximate answer to what PU members are getting for download speeds.
This reply was somewhat directed at badandy400's reply #8. And for the sake of simplicity, it's better to use Kilobytes, instead of mixing Kilobytes and Kilobits for the answers.

I just check whatever I have to. If it's a paysite, and I paid for a membership, what am I going to do? Decide I don't like some part of the site agreement, and demand my money back? That's if I can even understand what the terms and conditions are talking about. It's even worse for many software agreements, where you have to be a lawyer to understand what you are agreeing to, before you can use the software that you already paid for. I believe it's a simple fiction that most people actually agree to the terms and conditions of many software agreements that are a requirement to be able to use the software: I believe most people just check the software agreement without really understanding what they are agreeing to regarding the specifics, because the terminology was written by lawyers and can not be understood by the "average" user without a simplified translation that is not available.

If you can hit download speeds of 1 MB/s, then I think you would be able to download about 86 GB in a single day. That means you could hit your maximum monthly download limit of 100 GB in less than 2 days.
I understand why ISPs are setting download limits (to make more money, of course). Plus maybe other reasons, as well.
But it's ridiculous to have such a small monthly download limit for an account that has such a fast download speed.
I'm surprised that more people aren't writing letters of complaint to their politicians about this matter.
You, and many other people, are paying for a high-speed connection that you are mainly not able to use.
I know that complaint letters to politicians are mainly a waste of time. But complaining to the ISPs would be even more of a waste of time.
I pay $25/month for an ISP connection that has a maximum download speed of 150-160 KB/s. But I don't think I have a monthly download limit. Even if I did have a download limit, because of the relatively slow speed of my downloads, I don't have to worry about exceeding it.
But even so, it's probably only a matter of time before my ISP (which is AT&T) will impose a monthly download limit.

Just curious. How fast is your maximum download speed (when downloading a photoset or video file)?
My max download speed is around 150-160 KB/s.
A lot of the PU members report download speeds that are 3-10+ times faster than what I have.
But a 100 GB per month cap by your ISP seems very strict.
Some of the PU members have been reporting being capped by their ISP, but I doubt their caps are 100 GB/month. That would negate the value of their fast download speeds, because they could hit the maximum download limit very fast, in a week or less, based on the sample download speeds that I've seen reported by PU members.
Maybe I will suggest that topic as a poll question.

Since they are going out of business, there is no legal obligation to give any refunds. I've known several small businesses that took in money for work to be done, that continued accepting money until they officially reported they were closing down, the work was never done, and the money was not refunded.
So if refunds are issued, that would be a class act.

I resent the question. Of course I download porn to watch. That's the purpose of porn. But since my time is limited, there's a lot of porn I've downloaded that I haven't gotten around to viewing. justme, I think it's a nice feature when a site gives an extensive preview of its contents, so a person can get a clear idea of what he would get if he paid to join the site. Many sites provide sample photos and nice-sized thumbnails of their models, and possibly some short video clips. The more information the better, I think. The preview section is part of the advertising for a site.
That's my opinion. But if people want to join a site based on a very limited preview of the site, that's their decision. I certainly don't control what other PU members do or join.
I don't understand what you mean when you say that my comments are what we are all able to easily view for no cost.
If you mean that my comment here, and my other comments, have no value, OK, that's your opinion.
If you mean that I am not charging you to read my comments... PU is a free site that you can join or lurk at, without paying any membership fees, and the member reviews and comments and posts are free for all to read.

I've never used the "Browse News" link before. And after reading some of the entries in that section, it will probably be a few years before I use it again. I find it difficult to imagine how the entries posted there would be of general interest to most PU members. Maybe I'm lazy, and don't think it's worth while to dig through the trash to find any interesting tidbits that might be there.
If other PU members do find the "Browse News" link useful, more power to them.

Met-art is strictly softcore. No hardcore, no midcore, no masturbation.
If you want more action than 1 or 2 pretty teens standing, sitting, lying down, etc., then you need to look elsewhere.
You should be able to get a basic idea of the site from reading the numerous reviews posted at PU.
There are probably thousands of photosets posted at Met-art. It is a huge mega-site.
There are a huge number of videos, mainly 10 minutes runtime or less. The videos are almost all boring and a waste of time. The models in the videos can be lovely, beautiful, or merely attractive, but the videos are a waste of time to watch, after you've seen a few to get an idea of what they are like. I don't understand the psychology of why Met-art will post photosets of lovely girls that I find erotic, and yet videos of the same models are just a bore. Almost all of the PU reviewers that mention the videos state that the videos are a waste of time.
If the PU reviews don't give you enough information on whether Met-art would be appealing to you, you should be able to find 1000s of free mini-photosets of the Met-art photosets. I mean, there are 1000s of reduced-number of picture photosets on the internet. Many were posted by Met-art itself, as a form of advertising for the site. So if you look at a number of those photosets, you should get a good idea of whether the site is worth your while.
A 1-month subscription is only $20 (rounded off). So it's not expensive.
I've had several 1-year memberships to Met-art, because it's my favorite porn site.
I posted a PU review of Met-art over a year ago. And there are plenty of other PU reviews of Met-art that are worthwhile reading. Some people love the site, some like it, other people think it's over-rated and not worth joining.

If I'm correct in that the "News" is the "Announcements" section, I think that some of the responses to the poll are not really accurate. If the "News" is not the "Announcements" section, then what is the "News" section?

Capn, I think there are at least a couple of PU members who really enjoy the tease. They can even appreciate sites that are tease and non-nude, I believe. But I'm more into sites where nudity is the majority of the photos. Though there are some models that I will enjoy their photosets, even if there is little to no nudity displayed. Because the models are really attractive for me, for some reason.
I'm much more into softcore than hardcore. But that's just me. A lot of PU members like their porn more graphic than what I do.
