Cheers. As requested I have sent you details of some of the emails I sent on 22 and 23 January. I had no problem receieving a reply from jettis it was the other customer services link that did not reply. As with any site, navigation and knowing how to use it can provide a problem. Some of the videos do not play or download, and some are not avaialble for download anyway. These are in the minority. I did think I had done my money (albeit a small amount) when I first joined, but I now like the site. I guess I was very suspicious of a site that seemed to offer such a lot for such a small amount, which is why I always do a thorough search of any site before doing a review.

I have noticed that I may not be totally alone in noticing the value. Elonlybuster reviewed Ebony Auditions which is also your company I think. It offers the same $9.95 deal with the TBP link. It is one I may be tempted to take up next month, although I am not sure how much material will be duplicated from Pornstar Tryouts Either way, I do think these sites offer very good value for money.

Most of the streaming is with the adobe flash player, or occasionally with the WMV, depending on the site. It is not of the highest quality
Poor customer service. I did not receive a cancellation confirmation, and it took 4 emails to get any sort of reply. There was no reply from the Pornstar Tryouts customer service. Eventually I tried the overall company customer service email (Jettis International) who told me my subscription had been cancelled.
Bottom Line:
This is a real mixed bag. The reason I have given it a highish mark is because of the tremendous amount of material that is available. It's like pulling out a handful of sweets or candy from a giant box. Some of it is a really pleasant surprise.

Pictures can be downloaded with dimensions from anything from 800x535 with a size of over 100kb, to 720x480 with a size of 30kb, right down to 130x87 with a size of 30kb.
Using the link from TBP you can access material that would normally cost 25 dollars for the price of 10 bucks. There is a wonderful array of material although the quality is not high def or for the connoisseurs around here. I find it very entertaining as there is lots of stuff I haven't seen before. Others who love the really high picture qualities of video or photos may not agree.
I did have problems with customer service. I cancelled my subscription, but received no confirmation. After contacting Jettis they have told me that I have succeeded in doing this. Hopefully I will not be rebilled, or you will be hearing about it, and so will they.
Some of the videos are a pleasant surprise. The whole attraction of this site is not from the sign up site Pornstar Tryouts, it is from the bonus material you can get from signing up to the site. You receive a number of bonus sites, and videos which have no connection with the original idea. In fact Pornstar Tryouts only has 23 episodes, and the last one was about 3 years ago.
I stress once again, by today's standards the quality of pictures and videos are not great, and some of the videos cannot be downloaded at all. Some have faults and do not play or download. It's the really low price and great amount and variety of material (although not fetish), that makes this such an entertaining and fun package.
I have just checked it out for myself. Not only does it say limited trial on the sign up form, there is a cross check for another sign up on the form too. So watch out.
It really does depend, that's why I voted for "other" changed from "not important at all." I'm with JayG on the pizza delivery thing. I'd rather have a scene setting along the lines of - here's the girl she's getting paid some money to have sex, or other things, rather than some phony acting and pretending they're enjoying it. Lousy acting is a big turn off. The models are paid money to have sex. Might as well be honest about it, without being disrespectful.

Good reply. All of those things you mentioned are very important. It also shows you are thinking and using your own guidelines, which is more than can be said for some of the reviews. Clearly the site is customer friendly. I like your reviews I just hope you take the content a little more into consideration in the future. Even if you don't I would not argue against your right to set up your own criteria when reviewing. It is part of what makes the site so interesting. The only thing I would say is what about if you had all the great stuff that Brazzers has, and then has stunningly beautiful girls as well? Surely it would deserve more than 2 more marks. In fact I probably wont bother subscribing at all, even if the do answer. They will probably take my money and then I will find somehow my membership or password doesn't work, or mystically other people have used it to log in so I'm banned and forfeit my money.
Yes, it was a rude email. But if these people would care to answwer some fu**ing emails occasionally, they may get some more customers and actually divert some people away from piracy.
If they have so many customers they are oh far to busy to answer emails, then the solution is to do them a favour, and lessen their load, by not signing up in the first place.
Here's an email I just sent to them. Once again this is a site that almost encourages piracy with its unclear policies. I tried emailing them to find out EXACTLY which sites you receive when you first sign up, but no reply. I have just sent them another email. Maybe they'll get round to answer this one. Probably not:-
"Which sites do I receive if I sign up for either Anal Teen Angels or Porn Pass For All. This is not made clear. I thought I had better have one more try at getting an answer out of you before giving up. It is no wonder piracy is thriving at the moment if your support is so lousy you cannot be bothered to answer emails from potential customers. This is a great point. Not all of us can be at our computers continually. There are some days I cant't login at all, so we lose those opportunities to download. Even if they said - well 6 times 31 is 186, so we will allow you 186 downloads in a month, I may be tempted. This organisation comes across as a total couldn't care less about the customers network. Until a few months ago these people only had streaming available. I believe the best way to deal with this sort of customer unfriendly strategy is the same as dealing with DRM. Don't purchase. There are lots of other better value sites out there. If they become more reasonable I will join, but to me their current policy is an insult.
The reason I really love the site is for similar reasons to Toadsith. I joined because of his review. I though he was spot on. They have truly magnificent search and navigation. Video Box getting all the dimensions wrong is a real irritation for me, and would be to any relative newcomer to internet, or a dimwit like me. I rarely disagree with the "editors choice" which picks out the best clip from a dvd. Their customer service is great. From what I've heard Video Box's is lousy. American Vice treat you like a customer, one they are pleased to do business with. With Video Box, you may as well not exist. American Vice now have nearly 1800 dvd's. Not an insignificant amount. I agree with Toadsith, in that, although they have a smaller selection, they make up for that in quality and diversity that you will not see on other dvd sites. In fact I think they have the most diverse content of any dvd site. It isn't that everything is perfect, but given the price, I think it is the best value of any site around. This allied with the feel you get from the site. They do those important things right - video content, video quality, picture perspectives correct, great personal customer service which treats you like a human being, great search and navigation, and NO dirty tricks or con jobs. Okay, not everything is perfect, but you get the feeling that they are pulling for you, rather than against you, cutting corners, or finding ways to rip you off.
This is the network that also has Casting Couch Teens, XXX Proposal, Teeny Bopper Club, and College Teens Book Bang, among their sites. It's a network I'd join in a moment if they didn't have download limits. As it is they've never had any of my money, and never will while they have such a ridiculous policy. This is the sort of site that makes piracy thrive.
An obvious yes from me. It was hell when illegal over here for a number of years. Prices were astrononmical and you ran a high chance of being ripped off. I don't believe it will ever be socially acceptable with some groups of people, and I believe it will always be on the fringes of legality. Online is paradise - while it lasts.
Thanks for the tip off though. There are tons of those low profile sites out there. Some of them can be little gems. Others, like this one, can be a total waste of money. Definitely one to avoid.

It's a bunch of fans getting together to help improve things, and help one another. I think American Vice is one of the good guys, and is the sort of site I'd love to see others spending their hard earned cash on. It doesn't have any of the dirty tricks or catches that really irritate a lot of the people here, so I hope people are going to support it, even though it's relatively low profile.
