OK, I signed up again through TBP's discounted rate and am looking to see when things get back in the shape it was with Danni. Some really outstanding content has been added (more explicit and vigorous "soft core") but way too many cases where the older stuff is inaccessible, either because of server issues or software issues. I am getting less pessimistic, but their Customer Service email and 800 number service remains non-existent.

OK, it's now been a full month since they dropped DRM. Has it been reimposed yet?
Pardon me if I don't trust these assholes. I was a full paying member for almost a year when Danni ran the show and had only a few issues that her staff dealt with virtually instantly. Yes, they used DRM but "Danni's Pledge" was that once you cancelled your membership, you still had a permanent license so long as you didn't move your saved copy. Danni sold out. The new management screwed the site totally by disabling a bounch of content (about 50% was good stuff) and killing the DRM guarantee. My emails to them were ignored except when I said I was ready to subscribe again. Then they sent me a "special deal" which, as it turns out, was 5 cents more expensve than the rate offered TBP members.
A good site with a totally untrustworthy management.

Has its moments, but has deteriorated severely over the last 12 - 18 months. Unless the new owners (Danni Ashe is no longer in the game) step up to the plate and make some big changes, the site is no longer ready for prime-time.
Follow-Up:
Since I wrote the review, Danni.com removed the DRM (finally!) but all previously downloaded material can no longer be viewed. Connection problens are the worst in the biz, but the more recent material is excellent. I came back to give them another chance and increased my rating from 75 to 85. I get the sense that they are trying hard to recover the ground they lost over the years with DRM. The score will go up more when they let members log on more than 50% of the time...and access all content. |

Better yet, they've extended the 3 month option $74.95 ($25 per month) on a RE-BILLING basis as per the PU listing.
In my opinion, this guy Denys Defrancesco produces the best porn on the web.
That means he shoots nothing but incredibly gorgeous babes, uses HD, superlative camera work and perfect lighting.
And at $25 per month and with 20 updates per week, I have only one major gripe about the site. I am spending more on 1Tb hard drives to keep up with his output.

Thanks for the tip. I will give it a go. I dropped $74.95 on the deal because there's so damned much GOOD content there's no way I can D/L what I want in just one month, and it is over my budget to spend $34.95 a month on just one of the sites.
I'm guessing (hoping) they get smart at DDF Prod and offer network deals in the future as well.
So far I'm also impressed with the quality of the vids. The older ones are not so good but anything 2007 and later are great.

Three questions.
1. Does the site tend toward real versus aftermarket enhancements or vice versa? (I's rather see mammaries move naturally than look like pneumatic rubber bolted on to the babe's chest or ridiculously oversized.
2. Their price is very high (higher than my normal limit of $25 per month and even higher than my maximum acceptable price of $30 per month) so my question is, is the site worth the money? If so, and the quantity of content is as large aa it appears it is, I could be persuaded to cough up their 3 month price of $75.
3. Is there a network involved, and/or are there other "bonus sites," that might persuade me?

Music is OK, but only if the model is dancing to the music. Otherwise the natural sounds, such as the slurping sounds emanating from a model's pussy as she's masturbating, do it for me.
I also get annoyed with excessive grunting and groaning when it's clearly not genuine.

Frankly, these guys are really missing the boat. If they stayed at $29.95, I bet they would be making a ton more from a lot more subscriptions at the nominally top price in the web porn biz of $29.95.
Consider the fact that the only real variable cost these guys have is the small amount of additional bandwidth needed to accommodate the new customer.
The proof of this is when you consider how many sites offer a "stick around" price when you cancel a membership.
(I am paying $5.95 a month for a site that I started at $29.95 after trying to cancel. It notched down from $29.95 to $19.95 to $14.95 to $9.95 to $5.95 as zi tried each attempt. They are getting $5.95 a month from me just because they have some content once in a while that I like. I don't want to cancel because, for the price of a Big Mac meal deal at McDonalds I can get access to a good porn site - without gaining weight even.)
I'd sign up for DDF Busty in a New York minute if they priced it at $24.95, and would put it in my A list at $29.95.

Just checked the site and there is no mention of any videos, just image sets.
TBP says there are 550+ 10 minute clips. Does each and every model have a video clip?

Interesting review. Some of the "Cons" listed are "Pros" for me but by and large it is close to my evaluation.
I've been a member for several months now and find it one of the finest sites in the business. I'll be writing my own review soon and expect to give it a score of 92.

I've been a member for a rather long time and have similar observations about the age of some of the content. It's not until you drill down to a specific scene that you discover that it's a low quality offering.
However, I like the DDF approach far better than most other sites that simply take down the old stuff. When I get a strong interest in a specific model, I'm happy getting as much stuff as possible. But it certainly would be helpful to identify the quality level of each offering that appears on a model's "home page" (the page that displays all material for a model).
From a quality perspective, I'm in agreement with you as well. DDF's last few years have added some truly spectacular babes and even the not quite as spectacular ladies have terrific video material.
I've said publicly on the PU site that I view DDF far superior to 21Sextury in its efforts to work with their customers and, more importantly, its business ethics. 21Sextury has some great content but have lousy business practices and virtually non-existent support. Their loss. DDF's gain.

Although I have been a fan of the DDF sites and score them high primarily for the quality of their content and frequency of good updates, I totally agree with you that the scoring of a site is a personal matter and is based on a member's personal experience and criteria.
I've been in a similar situation with 21Sextury. They have excellent content and abysmal ethics. In particular their "guarantees" are meaningless and their pricing is deceptive and opportunistic.
My current score for 21Sextury is also a 60 because I feel that a long term patron of a long established porn site should be able to expect that the offered product is delivered as promised.
The major difference between your experience with DDF and mine with 21Sextury is that I did get into an email discussion with the webmaster of Sextury21. He eventually conceded that the original (lifetime) offer was being withdrawn unilaterally by them because their "business model" was being adjusted.
I now consider them to be a 60 (10 points above the minimum) because I find their content to be exceptional (they send out samples every now and then). But the other elements cannot be evaluated because I refuse to send them another penny so I have no ability to judge what they are now doing.

The PU/TBP price of $29.95 is better than it used to be ($44.95)and has been in place for a while. It's one of the best sites on the web and worth it in comparison to other sites at the same or similar prices.

I totally agree with Schirm's comments. In fact it was one of the reasons I decided to let my membership lapse.
The content of your site is superb so when you make this change, in my opinion, it will make your site the best in the business. I definitely will sign up again when this change is made.
Also, thanks for monitoring the Porn Users site. That, alone, demonstrates your interest in providing top level customer service.

I was a member of the DDF network for several months a while back and had a few occasions where I contacted the support desk and got prompt and effective support.
See my earlier post regarding pre-checked cross sells. While I don't see the pre-checking to be a customer service, I also don't see it as being particularly bad either. In those few cases with other sites where I missed the pre-check in the signup page, I found that the biller and/or site were happy to cancel the transaction and refund any amounts paid.
The network was, and still is, one of my favorites. At $360.00 per year to remain a continuous member, however, I had to cancel just to stay within my budget. I will be rejoining once or twice during the coming year just because I miss their excellent content.

I agree with tlex42 regarding the cancellation procedure.
The DDF full network site was my favorite because all of its material was top notch and much (most?) of it was exclusive. At $45 per month it is among the most expensive sites in the business so I was quite happy with the $30 per month rate offered through PU/TBP. The site is well worth it at the PU/TBP rate.
When I decided to cancel, I did what tlex42 had to do because there was no procedure that I could find within the site that made cancellation simple.
As for the pre-checked boxes, I do as Ace DDF suggests, I read everything carefully before I complete the transaction. I agree that the practice of pre-checking does not meet the definition of good business practices but a careful consumer of porn sites should be conditioned to look for that sort of thing. It shouldn't be any big deal, especially when most such sites send confirming emails advising that the membership has been created.
I like flex42's idea of a countdown clock on the site that communicates the time remaining on a membership, or as an alternative that provides a membership expiration date, but that seems to be above and beyond a reasonable expectation for a website. I suggest to tlex42 to do as I do. I have my membership dates posted in my Outlook calendar that automatically notifies me 2 days before a membership "auto-renews" so I can control the process myself. That has worked quite well and has the added benefit of keeping a budgetary control on my porn hobby.
Hopefully Ace DDF will address the need to simplify the cancellation process which would be consistent with the top shelf high quality of the DDF sites.

I'm with you, so far. I've tooled around the site for a few hours and while the content is stunning as before, the new site format is not easy to navigate and worse, the download process is inefficient.
At a reasonable price, like, say, $19.95 or $24.95, I'd probably stay on board as a member. At $29.95 it's too expensive. The regional Euro price is really inappropriate.
In comparison, I am a long time member of 21Sextury, which I consider equal to DDF in content quality and better than DDF is variety and will stay a long term member with their very reasonable pricing structure.
DDF will eventually discover how much money they are leaving on the table by charging prices that are far higher than their competition and by not creating a basic loyalty to their product.
I'll probably cancel my membership before the auto-renewal kicks in in 29 days.
