I haven't seen anything directly related on websites except on sites whose webmaster participates on PU.
I've added a criterion to my decision to join a site; has the webmaster participated on PU? That's one of the reasons I sprung for a 5-month enrolment on PU. Shap, the webmaster, is active one this site.
A good webmaster would be nuts not to be checking out PU daily and paying attention to his customers, past, present and potential. It's the best (only?) true market research capability in the porn site biz.

Looks like the price went up. The PU advertised price is $24.95.
Apart from that your review tells me that this is a great individual model site. There are so many sites out there that are totally dormant and are there only to suck some cash from unwitting horndogs who happen by.
I really like Jaime Hammer for her obvious major assets but also from a personality standpoint.
Your review was very informative and tells me that this site could be a one month deal where I can go in and drain the site in a month's time then sit it out for a year or so before I go back in to update my collection.

Not being a big photo guy I totally forgot about that. FTV is way below average as a photo site vs. a video site.
But you and Denner tend to match my tastes so as I said to him, I'm going to switch over to Nubiles for a month to give it a go.

We're on the same page about FTV.
They make it hard to love with the unnecessarily long and boring stuff interfering with the really good stuff. My sense in checking out the Nubiles previews is that they are more conventional with single episode videos that get to the point much quicker than FTV.

Having joined twice (currently in my second month of subscription #2) I agree with the comments but not the score.
It's a great site but the scenes can go on far too long with no variety. Watching a girl stick a dildo in her snatch and move it around for 10 minutes in the same position gets very boring. The producer needs to edit down the static scenes.
I will be writing a review shortly but wanted to note that I agree with landers-4 that this site is truly special and warrants a high rating.

As with the old 900 Phone Sex operations, I really never quite understood the market. If a guy was starved for personal, but non-sexual, interaction with a babe, I guess phone sex or a live girls webcam site can satiate his need. But can there really be that many out there with that need and who are willing to pay big bucks to support the cost of setting up and operating the site (or phone bank)?
I agree with the others that such a need can easily be satisfied in a titty bar at far less cost.

Not sure what the distinction is between "using" porn and "watching" porn.

Two points to add to MargulisAZ's excellent review:
1. The one major drawback is that about 5% or so of the scenes do not identify the models so the search for Aurora Snow won't result in all of her stuff, just the 74 that were accurately identified.
2. They just passed the 5000 video title total a few days ago. At 1,825 new videos added per year (5 per day), they'll be passing the 10,000 mark by late April, 2011. That's a whole lot of fornicating!

I'm in relative agreement with all you say, Drooler.
When I see anal sex, I'm reminded of the old ship board caution of Navy EM's, "after a 3 month cruise, if you drop the soap in the shower room, leave it on the floor unless you want a rude surprise."

I just visited the site (not as a member) because I got an email offering me a join price of $10 per month. It has a total of 32 models with no indicaton of any more, and the sample clips are all LD (lousy definition) and have copyright dates of 2004 and earlier.
If the site is that stagnant (or if that's the best they can do in promoting their site...use old stuff and not even brag teases like "hundreds of big tit babes"), it sure looks like a loser.
On top of that there is no apparent interest in the site by PU members.
Based on all that I decided to pass. The $10 could be better spent on a lottery ticket, or a couple of Big Macs. I'd get a better return on my $10.

"Sick?" Yup. When I see the occasional over the top garbage, like scat videos and such, which can make me physically ill.
Disgusted? Yup. When I see stuff like excess physical violence perpetrated on women, when I see women forced into gagging on large schlongs to the point where they are experiencing severe discomfort.
Bored? As porn "matures" with ever increasing video/photo quality and with more sophisticated scene direction and production, I am increasingly bored with some of my archived stuff which just a few years ago I thought was superior stuff. I am also less patient (less willing to compromise) with a lot of the marginal stuff that I used to keep, especially where the video spends far too much time recording the hairy asses of two guys in a DP scene involving a gorgeous babe that is invisible. [The good news is that I just finished dumping a bunch of "unkeepable" stuff and freed up a 360 Gig hard drive.]

The zip file associated with the sample I mentioned above is janaredlng.zip. I agree with you completely that an effort to use more descriptive zip file names would be a major improvement. These days, with substantially improved file naming protocols, there's no technical reason why severely truncated file names must be used by Twistys.
