They updated since the last time I had a membership and they now include a “gem” system type loyalty program. You accrue gems for every week that you are a member, and in turn those gems can be used to unlock their bonus content from their partner sites. Some of the sites have downloads available, but they are only for the photosets. With this, I hope they are consistently adding or changing the content in this area to keep it fresh and current. |

***Limited downloads per week (25 videos), which is not bad in my opinion. If there was a number that I would accept for a download restriction, it would be 25-30 for a site that updates 1-2 times per week.
**It’s a little on the pricey side with very few times for discounts or offers, but based on the production quality, you do get what you pay for.

Vixen is frankly doing what they can to change the game in porn production. In my opinion, it is a change that was needed. The production quality is top of the line, same with the direction, and it meets a happy medium and balance between storytelling and sex that is often absent in most web scenes from other sites that often tip the scales to one side or the other. One of the original founders sold their holdings recently, and sometimes that might spell disaster or a dip in quality due to a change like that. Not in this case.
Here’s what to expect when it comes to content, if you are the kind that likes downloading/collecting:
Videos: UHD, Full HD, SD, and mobile
Pictures: Picture sets are particularly large in quantity for my liking, and generally are around the 110 number of pics; Resolution up to 3000 x 2000; no screencaptures (I don’t know why you would want that since you can just watch the video)
*The picture quality is very good, even when sized at original without the typical pixelation that you might see with other sites, but it’s not quite at the level of clarity as Jules Jordan photos for some comparison. But it is very, very close.
For some, Vixen may be too rich for your blood, but once you make the choice to buy, you will not be disappointed with what you get. Videos may be lengthy, stretching out and reaching those 50 minutes or longer marks, but based on how the videos are produced and directed, it fits and is something that I didn't mind viewing for that hour.
Site navigation is simple and finding what you need is easy. Users can find what they want by model, category (niche), or by top rated. With the amount of prestige the site has already garnered, they have a link to their “awards” videos to make it quick and simple for a first timer to see what exactly Vixen is all about.
Some extras that come along with the membership are that they have some BTS scenes, and they are not just for Vixen but for all sites in the network. A section called “Intimates” which basically started off as some at-home style works from models. Lastly, they have some compilation videos that are done up better than most that you may see on your select adult tube site.
Overall, I do feel that Vixen is one of the best sites out there and demonstrates how creative and art like porn can be. Yes, yes, I know there are other sites that do just that and have been focusing on that for years! I know this! However, Vixen does so in such a fashion that makes porn relevant and enjoyable in pop culture, thus changing and mainstreaming it to include a much wider population of viewers. Glamcore is very much underrated in my book and Vixen does the best to highlight all the great artistic values of the genre. It is a site that I do see myself coming back to multiple times in the future just because of how well the videos and photos are done to capture the essence of how porn is as an artform. |

HD scenes
Yes. They do have HD scenes, but most of the SD scenes have better quality than the "HD" scenes they have available. And the 4K scenes are a punchline to a joke that no one got.
Decent Photosets
This is the only saving grace. The photosets. I have said this before in some other reviews, and I will say it again. The photosets are complementary and can enhance the scene. In this case, the photosets are the only thing worth downloading since it seems that they are the highest quality items on the site and have a high view-ability compared to the videos.
Some major names
Riley Reid, Faye Reagan, Kelsi Monroe, Lexi Belle, and Angelina Valentine just to name a few that are featured on the site. Some of the "newer" stars that make an appearance are: Taylor Whyte, Sheri Vi, Gina Valentina, and Scarlett Sage... If that gives you any idea of how "new" some of the scenes are. |

4K scenes?
They really aren't 4k. Some of the scenes look like they are somewhere in between 540 and 720 masquerading as 1080.
New scenes?
The "updates" that are posted look like they were done about 10-15 years ago at the start of HD filming. There is not really any true update schedule, and they come out whenever which makes it frustrating. The partner sites that you get with a membership update more frequently, however they lack quality, as well. |

***Buyer Beware***
This site is partnered up with Lethal Hardcore, or is it Lethal Pass? Hard to tell. Any new scenes are not posted through this site, but their partner site and they are atrocious. It looks like it was shot from an iPhone... 10 years ago. Both streaming and download qualities suffer greatly, and direction of the scenes look tired, old, and just sad. The search features that either site have is clunky and that is being generous with the adjective. At least the older scenes have a "classic" feel to them, but that's the only draw to the site since the "newer" scenes look like they are old and the only thing worth looking at are the photosets.
I would not recommend getting a membership to this site more than once. But I also would not getting a membership to this site at all if you want a fully honest recommendation. If you want to download all the things that you find good, do so at a budget and get out immediately. |

This site may go by the wayside like some others like Reality Gang. Could have its light snuffed out altogether in the near future.
Kind of a shame that things have fell through the cracks and doesn't resemble anything of its former self.
