My solution is to start the slide show then drag and drop the picture into the waiting file. speeds things up yes but should offer zip files.

This site hasn't had a new review in a long time, So I thought I might give it an update.
A nice site over all. Some very cute girl next door type models, not the fake industry plastic implanted every where girls. What this guy does, he does extremely well. He shoots mostly from his own house so the galleries tend to look the same, same spots/positions just different girls.
While videos are offered, there aren't too many of them. Some are quite old and are mostly soft-core with a sprinkling of handjobs, and there hasn't been any added in a the past couple years.
I scored it kind of low for two reasons: First for being around for so long it isn't a very large site at all. Second being a predominantly picture site I was shocked that the galleries weren't offered in zip files. The galleries average about 150 pics with some going over 300+ so saving them 1 by 1 is a pain in the ass! My solution was to start the slide show and just drag and drop each pic into my folder.
Overall, I am frustrated BUT NOT DISAPPOINTED with this site. If it had zip files I would've scored the site at 85.
So bottom line IMO the site is subscription worthy |

I wasn't demeaning your review Sir, I love the network. $70 is an excellent price for a full year. It just sucks because my trusty wd external got dropped and It had all my old videos from this site and another dead site lesbo101 on it. I was heartbroken to find that a great portion was gone from the site. The site has some of the first content and plenty since of the lovely ageless wonder Gina Gerson, one of my all time favorites ever.

I rejoined after a few years and was surprised at how much content was removed. Really disappointed with the network. They really need to do a archive site for their back catalog that they have purged. Stuff from the now unavailabe natasha shy, beata porn, super skinny girl and so on, this stuff is just to good to leave abandoned on a disconnected server.

I used to love this site. But I will never join it again. They dump tons of content to repost and the stuff they have been posting is the same stuff they've been recycling for years now, plus I don't think they have anything less than at least ten years old. I reported a dvd with a couple missing scenes and two years later they still hadn't fixed it. The channels only have butchered scenes from their sites, if you want the full unedited scene then just join the site in question.
As I said in the last review, if you have never joined before this site is a treasure trove of old content. If you've joined before then don't join again because there's nothing new at all.

Having been a member of this site many times over the years, This site has just stagnated horribly. I'm accually surprised their still online. If joining for the first time then yeah, I'm sure you'd be completely stoked with it. It is a treasure trove of older scenes. But if you have been a member before then there is literally nothing new that they can offer you. I joined again after 3-4 years and there wasn't anything I already Had. They have pulled so much from this site (over a third but less than half) and then just slowly add them back in as "new" updates. This process is repeated regularly. The vast majority is compilation dvds which just have the same dam scenes over and over. Virtually no update is less than 10 years old. Also the channels offer up only butchered scenes from their networks. I don't think these channels are even updating anymore. I'm happy you finally found the site because as I freely admit it is truly a treasure trove for a first time member. But do yourself a favor and don't waste your money joining it again. If I reviewed this site Today I wouldn't give it more than 70.

Sad like I said this used to be a favorite site. the last couple times I joined it about 9 years ago I turned a video in that all the download links were dead, During that 30 days it wasn't fixed, like two years later I joined it still wasn't fixed. Didn't even get so much as an automated response. The only thing worth while are the channels but I'd rather join the official sites.

I used to love this site back in the day and agree they have gone way down hill. Are they at least updating the files to better quality? It's easy to see why though, all the big name studios release exclusively to their own sites so all thats left is old stuff and bottom of the barrel crap.

Yup which is why I haven't been back in years. Better off joining the official sites, I also found with evil angel that these were chopped up versions with the complete unedited versions being on the official site.

I used to love this site, but customer support is pretty much nonexistent. I emailed like five times that a dvd was not downloading, waited the entire length of my membership and it wasn't fixed. joined again about a year later and it still hadn't been fixed and emails went unanswered that time as well. haven't been back in over three years. 95% of new content added is just rehashed compilations so the only thing on the site worth joining is the premium channels. Vivid hasn't updated in years and I think they pulled the reality kings or porn pros channel too, can't remember which had a channel on there.

Videobox has always been an old favorite of mine. Everybody always mentions the multiple scenes, the majority of xxx releases are compilations and therefore way to time consuming to go through them all. They have thousands of dvds and to go through each one would take forever and a day plus then they would have to then put up with people complaining of "incomplete" dvds. I personally don't mind it because some are the complete version of the scene (verses edited) and sometimes its a different edit with different angles. Can you tell I'm a porn hoarder I mean collector lol? I just wish the channels would update more, Are they still only one dvd a week? Also their customer service sucked, there was this elegant angel dvd people had complained about with broken links for over two years and they still hadn't fixed or took it down. But yeah, the shear size of their catalog is just mind boggling!
I too was a big time fan of vivid back in the day sir and wanted to inform you if you didn't already know that adulttime.com now has not only vivid scenes but the vivid classics. OMG Kobe Tai and Asia Carrera were the best!!!

I have no problem with the downloading, they are fast. A 1.6 gb video is maybe 1.5 minutes. My problem is ALOT of the videos are listed but can't be downloaded. "File not found". Complaints are ignored with auto response emails the only thing you'll hear from them. The "channels" used to update 3-4 times a week, now only on Saturday evening. Really sad that they are skating by on their past reputation.

Before I start this review I would like to state that in my opinion Vivid was the absolute best company in the 80's & 90's. Their production and their stars were top notch. Having sad that, Wow this site is in serious need of overhauling! Members area is completely filled with ads and upsales making the content entirely secondary. navigation is a train wreak, if you know your star or name of scene then you can enter it and search that way. But if your just browsing it is really frustrating, if your looking through stars by name then you have to start at A and work your way through but if you click on one to see her stuff then back click then your back at the beginning. same with a stars scenes, scroll through her pages the click on something and back click your back on page one. And now my biggest complaint, ALOT of the classic stuff has been removed. I joined this site a few years ago when you couldn't download. So after I found out that they offer downloads I jumped at the chance to join again. I am severely disappointed in this site now. About half the classic content has been removed. As a fluke last time I was able to save the streaming video so I have a accurate count. Kobe Tai had 53 scenes, now has 25. Asia Carrera had 62, now has 21. Lola had 42, Now has 21. Etc. So Classic Vivid fans beware! Also, there are not to many of todays stars on here, Like Dillion Harper, Veronica Rodriquez, Elsa Jean and so on. I wouldn't join this site again unless the classic content was reposted. |
