I was just goofing off one day when I saw a site listing for the good 'ol Ed Powers. He was one of my favorite producers back in the day and I loved his "Art". I immediately signed up. The site is pretty functional, Model index is pretty good. Some rare moments are here too, IE: The tiny pornstar Kitty does a super rare anal scene (If not the only anal scene she ever did) with her boyfriend.
Now here's the problems:
Being that the content is so old (some is 25-30 years old or more) the videos are extremely low res. I knew going in that the scenes would be from movies shot and released on video tape, but wow they didn't age well at all. I kind of came up with a solution that does makes the videos at least watchable, I lowered the resolution on my 1080 monitor. This does make them in my opinion watchable, just sucks that I have to do this every time.
Another major con here is this isn't his Complete catalog, not even close, and with him only updating at one scene (SCENE NOT DVD) a week he'll die long before he completes uploading his catalog. He had tons of videos, his dirty debutantes series went upwards of 400 volumes by themselves. So this con is a huge consideration to think about before joining. Another super rare moment he captured that is not included here was the famous lesbian only pornstar Felicia Danay giving her then real boyfriend a blowjob.
Site includes access to 5 other sites: Sexy mommas, Latex Pussy Cats, Bruce Seven, Luke Hardy, and 3AM. Sites are mostly 360X480 res (with scenes added in 2019!) with very few 720 or 1080 which for me makes their addition completely worthless.
Bottom line, would I recomend this site? Only to the most diehard of his fans. I bought some of the same clips from a digital store and they look a bit better than what is offered here. I would recommend you do the same, either way Ed gets paid. PAY FOR YOUR PORN PEOPLE! |

Thanks Admiral, will keep bang in mind as I love their stuff. About Ed Powers though, This was soooo disappointing. He is a particular favorite as I discovered him during my mid-teens lol and I loved his stuff and he had two of my all time favorites very early in their careers, Cherry Potter and Christine Young. He shot with video tape and it just did not age well. Main stream media is in the same boat as the xxx studios in that it's almost impossible to restore anything of quality from video tape.

It's not named after him as a tribute, it is HIS site, he runs it and is the main photographer. Also you are correct about some of the sets being almost to perfect, he has an amazing eye for details!
The last time I joined this site the types of content were both clearly separated and labeled with the page starting with a small bio and a total accounting of the models content. Example: Dominika C has 91 galleries, 22 videos and 7 massages. the picture galleries were listed first then scrolling down (Sometimes WAAAAAAAY down with a model that has a lot of content), in order it goes 1. Picture galleries, 2 Videos, 3 massages (if any), 4 Comments.
I rejoined this site a month or so ago because I fell victim to a corrupted external hard drive and wanted to recoup the content (the pictures make for some choice wallpaper lol) and noticed that a few of the model pages were gone and if the model was still there that some of their pic/videos were missing. I could still see the file names on my hard drive so was able to compare.
If you like this site I would highly recommend Femjoy and the metart network they are close in content/quality but the in the crack site is the best.

This site and network are a ripoff, they start all hot and heavy then slow way down or stop updating after a few months. Some of the videos are weird to like the petite 18 holly hendrix scene, it looks like trying to watch a TV in the mid 80's while someone is running a microwave lol.
I too took the opportunity to update to the mp4 format last time I joined.
Also something to add to your review, in all fairness is when joining this site you get access to their network. And aside from the petite 18 site real sex is a rarity.

Yup which is why I haven't been back in years. Better off joining the official sites, I also found with evil angel that these were chopped up versions with the complete unedited versions being on the official site.

I used to love this site, but customer support is pretty much nonexistent. I emailed like five times that a dvd was not downloading, waited the entire length of my membership and it wasn't fixed. joined again about a year later and it still hadn't been fixed and emails went unanswered that time as well. haven't been back in over three years. 95% of new content added is just rehashed compilations so the only thing on the site worth joining is the premium channels. Vivid hasn't updated in years and I think they pulled the reality kings or porn pros channel too, can't remember which had a channel on there.

I hate to say this, but the only place I found it is on bootleg site rips sites, and I hate to promote that because I am a firm believer in paying for my porn. But that is the only way I found the entire Natasha Shy site rip a couple years ago.

Thank you for the reply sir, I sent them two emails this morning with my information and have yet to hear back. I emailed them a couple times during my membership and even though they replied they never answered my questions so I am pretty sure I am going to have to cancel my credit card because of them. Omg never again will I join this site, complete rip-off. Unmentioned download limits and non-existent billing support.

I must admit as much as I am frustrated with this site support has returned my emails within 24hrs. They don't answer my questions, but the at least reply! lol This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a site and will never join this site ever again.

Lol in all seriousness, the download limit is SMALL. There should be an unlimited membership option, I honestly would pay for it. Issues like this is why premium site are dying. Having to request your account be unblocked is also so unnecessary, other sites just do it automatically.
As far as the 4k badge I don't see how that would work, how would you "earn" that badge? My tv is 4k only because my old dinosaur tv finally died, even the little cheapie's are 4k, I ended up getting a 55" LG that doubles as an excellent second monitor.

5. If data limit is hit then you have to wait 24hrs and submit a account reset form and be given a new user name and password
6. Time does not reset at a given time, if you download 29.5gb at 7:20am then you have to wait until 7:30am the next day to download again. |

This site has some pretty awesome content but is in serious need of an overhaul. There is no model index at all. A previous review said you could open a scene and click on a models name to bring up her scenes, I found this to be untrue. Going by site by site they have their scenes listed with no model name, after you click on the scene it then will give her name.
Now for my biggest con. There is a ridiculously restrictive daily download limit of 30GB. This is not mentioned anywhere. When you offer 4k quality videos this is a crazy small amount. the 4k videos are upwards of 10-12 gb in size so only 3 videos a day! Plus if you hit this limit you have to request a account reset to continue to download. This is unacceptable. Why doesn't it reset after 24 hours like every other site with a limit?! Look, I get the bootleg concerns but this is punishing the people who choose to be a customer and actually pay for your content and I am a firm believer in supporting my favorite studios/producers by buying dvd's/blurays and memberships. I collect scenes of my favorite models and download three sizes: 720, 1080, and if available the 2160. Yes I am a 4k snob, I download the 720 for my tablet. So today I think I hit the limit at just TWO VIDEOS! I don't know if they ban people for multiple infractions but I will update this review if this is the case. It's sad because this site has just fantastic, amazing, outstanding content. |

I was a member of this site a couple weeks ago, I use internet download manager with the 8-16 connections with a comcast xfi gigabit modem and I still had trouble with this site. The download would start out normal speed then gradually slow down and start/stop continuously until it either finished or threw an connection timed out error. Sites I'm a member of like wankzvr with file sizes in excess of 12-14 gb would download in about 4-5 minutes. I would think this is a server problem on their side.

Wow that sucks! I understand the limits with people devoting so much effort into site ripping but some of these sites take the limits way to far and drive off customers. I am a firm believer in paying for my stuff and supporting that site but they are slowly becoming their own worst enemy with these overly strick limits.

The videos are the only thing that is good about this site. OMG! The navigation is SOOOO frustrating! I try to sort the videos by date and when you select the video and then go back after viewing, back to popularity (default setting). Select by date again and it goes back to the first page and then you have to go ONE page at at time to get back to where you were. The model page can only be sorted by newest and popularity, no alphabetical option.
I have joined this site a couple times before and have never hit a download limit before. Today I hit one that said I had reached my daily limit of ten videos. I didn't get this limit message yesterday or the day before so I don't know if this is new or just didn't hit ten videos but I'm sure I downloaded more than ten.
I joined this site on a black Friday sale for $8 and will not join again unless I get a deal close to this. Site does need a serious overhaul but is worthy of check-backs a couple times a year. |
