I'm no fan of download limits either, but I guess a site can choose to do what it wants. Same with streaming-only sites. But I will say that a limit this low (the terms of service indicate a 1.5GB limit) makes no sense and would only serve to annoy customers and deter potential customers.
Interesting review. I love 'classic' porn from the late 80s through to the mid 90s and this site seems to have a lot to offer. I might give this site a try now that I know what the flaws are.
One question: the tour pages are arranged to suggest that the scenes are listed separately. Is there an option in the member pages to select a movie and see all the scenes in that movie (like they do at Videobox)?

I'm a fan of this site too. While I'm a big fan of the Day 1 auditioning, what I don't like is that finding Day 2 through 4 can be a bit of a chore. They might call Day 1 "Seven Whore Roundup" and then the remaining days are named after the model they chose on Day 1. That's a bit of a issue for me.

Bottom Line:
TTOO was the first Kink site I joined several years back and it remains my favourite. Most BDSM sites put a woman in bondage and inflict some pain. Some sites have a unique theme (Water Bondage) but the underlying premise is the same. TTOO is different: there is bondage, humiliation and pain, but the premise is the training of a submissive woman. The niche is the making of a sub, not what can be done after the sub is created.
The traditional TTOO shoots are broken down into days, with the normal training regime being conducted over four days. The intensity of the training is increased as each day passes. Bondage, humiliation, demeaning work, pain and training are all here. Sex occurs in the shoots. The sex is very well done but isn’t the main focus: it occurs as part of the training, not just for the sex itself. The end product is near four hours of some intense video per shoot with exceptional production values.
In the past couple of years TTOO has added a new kind of shoot to keep things interesting. This is still about training, but they’ll bring in multiple girls to audition to be trained. These can last from one to four days and involve much of the same kinds of training as the main scenes, but have an extra element of competition. These share the usual high production standards that Kink has. These are innovative and a welcome addition to the site.
The technical stuff is standard for all Kink sites. Each scene has its own page where the video can be streamed or downloaded. Downloads are available in either WMV or Mp4 format. Two resolutions are available for both formats. The highest resolution for both comes in at 1280x720.
Like all Kink sites, TTOO offers photos as singles and zips, but this really isn’t a photo site so I won’t go into any detail.
I’m a HUGE fan of the Kink sites and I may have been blind to some faults because of that. The faults are fairly minor but just look more serious given the overall quality of the site. I think that for a site to be exceptional it has to provide excellent porn, make that easily available to members and has to be well organized. Obviously the first element is the most important, and Kink delivers: this is incredible porn. They succeed in the member access by allowing download managers and having servers that never slow down and give some of the highest download speeds I’ve encountered. Where Kink falls down is in site organization.
To keep this succinct, here are my specific concerns:
- Limited search function – the search function is limited and doesn’t work well. The problem appears that when you search a term the only thing it searches is the scene title, not the performers. So searching for star X won’t get you a scene if the scene is titled “Rope Slut.” You can search the model index but that isn’t great either. You can locate scenes on specific Kink sites but you can’t download them from there. The solution is to take a few key words from the title and go back to the main site page and search those terms.
- File names vary and are of limited use – this is likely subjective, but the file naming convention has no standardization. If you want to have any hope of organizing the scenes into related groups you’ll need to do it as you download. One bright note is that each scene has a unique shoot number as part of the name and that can be searched. The issue is you may download “1234_Bobbi” as the Day 1 scene in Bobbi Starr’s training, and then download “1100_Bobbi_S” as Day 2. The problem is that unless you rename the files as you go, the Bobbi in day 1 might not be Bobbi Starr, and if you’re sorting your files numerically you’re apt to get Day 1 and Day 2 mixed up. In most instances, model’s last names aren’t included as part of the file. I think a file-naming standard that captured the shoot number, model’s full name and day of the shoot would work much better.
The lack of a search function and odd naming are bad enough when dealing with the traditional multi-day shoots, but organizing some of the multi-girl, multi-day shoots is a lot of work.
While this sounds like I’m being overly fussy, keep in mind that TTOO goes out of it’s way to produce multi-day shoots. These are amazing, but grouping the whole shoot together is a lot of work and their own file names make organizing the files difficult.
Other more minor concerns are the lack of tags. I’m not saying that they need tags for everything, but for narrow, specific and hard to find niches they could work. Finally, while rare, there are missing scenes. The training scenes lose continuity when a day is missing.
The bottom line is this: when you weigh the good things about TTOO against the things that need improvement there is no contest. This is compelling, unique porn with stunning models in high-quality scenes. The negatives pale in comparison. If you have even a passing interest in BDSM I’d highly recommend a membership.
I reviewed this site in August 2007 and have since rejoined. All of the positives that I noted are still applicable. As for the negatives, there really aren't any. If you like this this kind of kink, then I've yet to find a better site than this. Everything from Kink.com is high quality.
This time I did have some membership issues - they were my own making. I had several different usernames from past memberships and current memberships at other Kink sites. It caused a few problems. Their support staff was quick to respond and fix the problem, and they even recognized the problem before I did and simplified everything under one username. Excellent service!
One new addition that I quite like is the use of physical exercise as a means of training. Seeing a naked girl do jumping jacks, squats, etc. is really quite sexy within the context of the site. Probably the best example of this is Madison Young.
The bottom line remains unchanged: if BDSM stuff is to your liking, then this is an excellent site and an even better value than it was last year because of the increased content.

Bottom Line:
Excellent site and promises to get better as more material is added. I’ve never seen a site quite like this. I also plan to take out memberships on other sites on the Kink network based on my positive experiences with this site.
Obviously if you have little or no interest in , or are offended by BDSM, D/s, stuff then you shouldn’t bother with a membership. If you do like this stuff I can’t imagine that there is a better site out there. The premise is pretty simple: take a willing woman and submit her to four days of training. At the end she’s a submissive slut.
I highly recommend this site if you are into this kind of kink.

If I could give an award for biggest improvement in a site this site would win. The last time I reviewed it I found that while the porn was great the site needed some serious work. I was pleased to see that the site has received a lot of work and is substantially improved from when I last reviewed it in 2011. They kept what I viewed as positive and either threw out or fixed the things I saw as negative.
There is a note on the main page dated from December 30, 2014 that says the ‘new’ site is undergoing beta testing. While it’s now almost three months later and most of the site seems to work fine there are still some issues that occur sporadically that indicate that it is still being tweaked. When I first joined there were huge numbers of dead links (that was temporary) and today a lot of the DVD box covers are missing. I don’t think these temporary quirks are enough to justify skipping the site if you like the porn they offer.
The two main studio ‘sites’ here are 3rd Degree (Third Movies) and Zero Tolerance (ZTOD). Both of these are mainstream hardcore porn studios that are known for featuring top A-list models and great production values. The porn aims for the middle of the market being harder than Elegant Angel but softer than Evil Angel.
The site bills itself as providing access to four separate sites but that’s a bit misleading. As with many studio sites there is a division into different ‘sites’ but the same material is shared across two of them. The one site where there are separate titles is Black Ice where there are 242 DVDs uploaded. Black Ice is an all-black site as opposed to an interracial site which is great since black/black porn is relatively rare. The bad news about Black Ice is that the site hasn’t added a new scene since 2011.
The fourth site that is listed as included when you join is a lesbian site called “How to Kiss a Girl.” I tried repeatedly to enter the site with the login information that worked on the other sites and had no success. (This may be a sporadic issue related to the site redesign.)
Because there are so many DVDs shared between the two main sites it is hard to say how many are available here, but it is in excess of 1500 DVDs, not including what’s on Black Ice.
As this is primarily a video site there are lots of options available to view the videos. The newer videos have four streaming and five download options. Streaming is 1080p, 720p, 360p and “iPod.” Downloads are 1080p, 720p, 360p, iPod and WMV. The 1080p are 1920x1080, 10000+kb/s, the 720p are 1280x720, 4800kb/s and the 360p are 640x360 at 1300kb/s. I can’t give specs on the WMV files because they were much larger than the MP4 files, with some coming in at more than 4GB compared to 2GB for the MP4s.
Obviously older DVDs have fewer options and the best isn't great by today’s standards. Since the available DVDs go back more than a decade I won’t complain about that though.

The last time I was a member I had a lot of complaints about the site that could be summarized as a too-basic site design and a lot of broken links. I’m pleased to report that both of those problems seem to be solved now. The site redesign looks good and is effectively laid out. The search functions now work, there are tags and niches and you can sort the scenes in any of several ways. There are still a few broken links but nothing like the amount there used to be.
The site updates with a new scene per day. To pad their numbers a bit they use a different thumbnail and description when they upload it to each of the main sites. Black Ice doesn’t update and since I can’t access the lesbian site I can’t comment on that.
Download managers are permitted and I had no issue with links timing out. While download speeds started off faster than average they quickly trailed off to lower than average speeds.
I recommended the site the last time I reviewed it because the great porn outweighed the site’s flaws. This review doesn’t need to rely on any such compromises. The porn is still great and now the site design supports the porn rather than lets it down. At full price it would be a decent value but with the TBP discount it’s a great value. I recommend joining even more than last time.
I didn't download any HD stuff (but I may go back later and get some favorite scenes in HD) but I'd agree with you. All the broken links occur in videos before they started posting HD. So if you're going in to get HD only you likely won't find any broken links at all.

In my reply to gaypornlover, I said that the biggest problem was the sheer number of broken links, but after thinking about your comment re the wide chasm between file quality, I'm unsure which is the bigger problem. They're both bad. We can be certain that the file resolution was a conscious decision they made, and maybe it makes sense for them if most of their customers prefer mp4 files. But other sites offer HD wmv files so it can be done. And when checking file specs for the review i was really surprised to see that wmv file quality has actually decreased. That makes no sense.
But... for all its warts, I'd still recommend the site since it really does give access to a huge quantity of really well done porn. In his review last year, exotics4me stated that the site s great for those of us with a large collection of DVD porn who want to "round out your collection nicely." That's a big draw for me since this was a way to get some exclusive scenes of some favourite models that I couldn't get anywhere else.
To be fair, the site design is weak, but I suspect that the inability to remember passwords is just a technical glitch. The bigger problem, by far, are the broken links. Bottom Line:
I have a love-hate relationship with studio sites. I love them because mainstream DVD porn is my preference and I give full marks to a studio that makes a large part of their catalogue available for download. The hate part is that most studios seem to treat their internet presence as a mere sideline and they don’t put the effort into it. Third Movies live up to the standards of most studio sites, with the love-hate thing still going on. In fairness to them, though, they are a much better site than some other studios on the ‘net.
While a membership to Third Movies gets you access to two other sites (Zero Tolerance on Demand and Black Ice Pass) it really can’t be thought of as a network because of the way the sites are bundled. On the member page you can sort by scene or DVD but the default is that you see titles from all three sites mixed together. You have the option to sort them by site. I’ve not seen another site that does it this way and I really like it. Rather than comb through three different sites there is just one mega site. This is really convenient. Since I didn’t sort by site, this review applies equally to all three sites.
The site offers access to almost 1000 DVDs (324 Third Movies, 389 ZTOD and 243 Black Ice).
The site offers multiple ways to sort the material, from DVD title, scene and general theme. The sorting options are appreciated because the search function doesn’t work well. I found that it tended to be pretty generous in interpreting what you were looking for so you got more hits than needed. The list of stars is just a giant list. If you’re looking for a star who’s name begins with W, be prepared to click ahead in 3-page increments until you get there.
The site has been around since 2004 so there are obviously some changes, most notably the addition of HD material. HD material is being offered on the newly added scenes and HD is now available of just over 40% of the scenes on the site. Older videos are offered in “AVI Xvid” and up to three resolutions of WMV. I tried the Xvid files but couldn’t play them as the codec wasn’t available. Make sure to test this if you plan to download this file type. Given the size of the site, I downloaded the highest wmv available. For most files this ranged from 640x360 @ 2176kbps to 720x540 @ 3155kbps. Newer videos (starting in late 2006) often offer HD in three resolutions (360p, 720p and 1080p). All HD files are only available in mp4 format. I can’t comment on the HD quality because I prefer wmv format. Newer scenes are also available for iPod and iPhone.
Two major problems with the site are that for older videos (roughly 2004 to 2006) there are a huge number of broken links. I’m guessing that up to 20% of the links are broken. The page that pops up to tell you this has a link to report the problem, but that link is broken too. (As is the link to get the AVI codec). This problem has been noted in past reviews, so I’m guessing that the site knows of the problem. The other issue is that as the site pushes HD material, it actually appears that they are decreasing the quality of the non-HD material. The first DVD posted on the site in 2004 has better resolution and bitrate than the newest ones. Also (and I don’t know what impact this has) the oldest are encoded in wmv 9 while the newest are in codec 8.
Subjectively, the quality of the non-HD videos is barely average.
Pictures are available, though this really isn’t a photo site. They are available in zips. The resolution is fairly low at 600x900.
Minor problems with the site are that even though the option exists, the site won’t remember your username and password. You have to enter it (twice) each time you go to the site. This may be not issue to anyone else, but I’d select scenes for download by adding it to my favorites on the site. The problem is that it gets added under the star’s name and no DVD title is given unless you actually click on the link. I’d prefer the DVD title and star name for ID.
The site continues to update, though they only add a scene or two per day. To make that worse, they’ll have up to four DVD titles updating so you may wait a long time to get a particular scene in a DVD. At least they do tell you when the scene you want will be added.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this site, subject to the caveats I noted here. A membership here gives you access to a wide variety of scenes. Unless you’re into fetish material there will be lots to keep you happy here. There is a good mix of U.S. and European models too. Black-themed videos are probably better represented here than at many competing sites. These studios also have titles on sites like Videobox, but I didn’t find the level of overlap to be too bad. There is lots here to keep a PU happy.
I'm not tech-savvy, but if possible, I think it's always a good idea to offer options. This site is known for large file sizes so having HD only would eliminate customers who have slower download speeds or bandwidth caps.
On a related note, I've discovered another issue with the site. While I've moved beyond the older material on the site (the stuff posted earliest, not necessarily produced first) I'm seeing fewer broken links. I'm downloading the highest resolution wmv files and some, though not many, of those still have broken links. I always try another resolution and sometimes the only one that works in 'AVI Xvid.' This might be a proprietary codec since it tries to download a licence from a site drm.ztod.com, which is no big deal, except that the link to download the licence is broken!!! Grrrrr...
I weighed all the pros and cons listed here and at TBP and took the plunge here today. It seems like a decent value but it continues the trend of studios not doing their brand any justice by having a mediocre site.
The biggest sin here, as noted by several reviewers, is that there are a lot of broken links. Exotics4me noted that you can get around that because sometimes the link to a lower resolution file is still there, but my experience is that if one link is bad, the others are too. There are whole DVDs where no scene has an active link. When that occurs a pop-up appears saying that it’s a dead link with a clickable link to report the problem. But, surprise, surprise, THAT link is broken too. I’m still working on some of the first DVDs posted when the site opened, so I’m hoping to see some improvement as I work my way through the site. But for now, I’m seeing maybe 10% of all links to be dead, which is far more than should be acceptable. Especially since the problem has existed for a long time.
As for speeds, I’m not having any problems there at all.
I’ll post a full review once I’ve downloaded and viewed more, but it does appear that this is another studio that sees the internet as a second-tier way to get their product to the customer.
Great Site - many of the older issues seem to have been resolved
I would have written a complete review, but the others have covered almost everything, so I'll just add a couple of updates.
DRM - there are still some files that have DRM on them, but of the 100+ scenes I downloaded I only found maybe 5 that still had DRM (mostly in older videos).
DL Speed - I know that there have been a few complaints, but I don't see a problem. My average DL speed is 400kb/sec. That compares very well to Video Box, for example, where I average less than 200kb/sec.
Updates - I've been a member for less than a month, and given the number of movies already on the site it will be a while before I have to worry about that. When I do, I'm sure I'll agree with the people who complain about the lack of regular updates.
Sound issues - no one has mentioned this before, but I've found that the sound isn't in sync with the video on many of the scenes. It isn't off by much, but enough to be annoying.
Over all, this site is well organized and worth the money. Yes, I know that some have complained about the cost, but Third is an excellent studio and it is worth it. Bundled with Zero Tolerance makes it an amazing value. If Third and Zero are to your liking, you can build an impressive collection quickly.
I give full marks to studios like this who make good movies, and then make them available on the net at a reasonable price with no DRM. I only hope that this business model continues to get picked up by other studios.

Bottom Line:
Throated is a great example of truth in advertising: you get what you’d expect to get when you join this site, even if it isn't to everyone’s liking. Throated is part of the My XXX Pass network and you get access to all the other sites too. An advantage to satisfying your desire for oral-themed porn here is that the network offers Throated, which offers harder-edged oral scenes, and also offers Only Teen Blowjobs and Mommy Blows Best to cover other interests in the oral niche.
As blowjob sites go, this one is harder than many, but it isn't to be confused with the extreme sites that offer face fucking with a heavy dose of misogyny. Even if you don’t like rough blowjob scenes you’d have to admit that these aren't an attempt to degrade the model like some other sites offer. It’s also worth noting that many, if not most, of the scenes were intentionally sloppy with lots of spit and lots of spit play. If you’re really into that then this is the site for you.
It’s fair to say that most of the models here are A-list. A large majority of the models on the site are American but there are some of the bigger names from Eastern Europe and Russia. One advantage to the site is that since it has been around since 2006 and uses mostly A-list models it may be an opportunity for a collector to get access to a scene or two from a favourite who has since retired.
The network is easy to navigate and the sites are too. Once you’re in Throated you can sort the scenes in various ways. There are six scenes per page and all have a large thumbnail of the model and relevant data like her name and the date of the scene are also provided. Clicking on that opens a separate page with the streaming and download options. You can also search by model and by tag, though admittedly on an oral site most of the tags will be useless. Obviously, for example, on an oral site there are precisely zero anal scenes.
The site currently has 650 scenes available and a new Throated scene is added weekly. This may not sound great but remember that this site is part of a network and many of the other sites are being updated regularly too.
The site allows download managers and I used one with no problems. I found the download speeds to be on par with other similar sites and I didn’t find that the links timed out quickly. I downloaded a lot on the first day of my membership looking to find a download limit and didn’t hit one. If there is one, it is high enough to not be an issue for most.
One warning about the site is that while it started back in 2006 the file resolutions aren't such that a serious collector would be satisfied with the older scenes. From the site’s beginning until September / October 2009 the only resolutions offered were 360p and 160p. As a collector, I wouldn’t take up disk space with those files now. Those offerings were definitely not up to industry standards then.
After October 2009 things really improve. On offer after that are 1080p, 720p, 480p, 240p and 160p. Things improve again in mid-2013 with the addition of 540p and 360p. There really is a scene resolution for any preference or device. The only file type, however, is MP4. The good news is that the way the site grew a member has access to approximately 500 scenes with 1080p and 720p available.
Bitrates are a bit lower than I’ve seen elsewhere but the scenes still look good on a 24” monitor and a 50” TV. The 1080p files are 6600kb/s, the 720 are 2700kb/s and the 540 are 1500kb/s.
Photos are available as singles or as a zip. More recent photo sets are 1920x1080.
The icing on the cake is a generous TBP discount.
I’d normally conclude by saying that this site is recommended for someone with an interest in whatever the niche is but to do that here is just too narrow. I like the scenes that Throated has to offer but the network is more than just an oral site (even though you also get access to two other oral sites). There are other sites that feature sex, and one site that is unique and innovative – Immoral Live. I’ve reviewed that in the past and still really like what they have to offer.
So the bottom line is that I definitely recommend this network and this site. If you like blowjobs at the harder end of the spectrum then the title isn't lying to you. It’s a well done site with some of the most beautiful women in the business from 2006 to the present. And with a TBP discount you can give yourself an early Christmas present.

I’ll get this out of the way first: I have no need for 4K videos so I didn’t download any to keep. I view most of my porn on a 24” monitor so going that large just doesn’t give me any advantage. When you factor in the file size the negligible benefit for me in viewing is offset by the extra space needed on a hard drive. For those who are interested though, the 4K files come in at 4096x2160, 10,000kb/s and 23fps.
And I’ll get the site’s main drawback out of the way now too: ‘tiny’ doesn’t just describe the models on the site. There are currently only 12 videos uploaded as I write this. A secondary drawback is that the update schedule is irregular so I can’t give any indication of how quickly the site will grow. The site started in early May and by the end of May eight scenes were available. No scenes were uploaded in June and they have since added four scenes in July (as of the 15th). But since the site is affiliated with a large online porn company I suspect that they will continue to grow.
The scenes they do have are very well shot and presented with excellent production values. The models are all mainstream porn models and they’re a who’s who of petite models working today. I’m not sure what constitutes couples porn, but it is fair to say that these are not rough scenes where the model endures some hard sex, though some may see it this way since the site does flaunt petite models with large men, so it isn’t true artcore either. The scenes range from approximately 20 minutes to about 35 minutes.
The site is simple and effective, which it should be since it is this small. There are search functions which may prove useful as the site grows. Each scene opens into a separate page where a trailer is available, as are screencaps and photos. The photos are available as a zip but the screencaps aren’t. There is streaming available in SD and HD, and downloads are available in MP4 format (4K, 1080p, 720p and 480p), in 480p MPG1 and as WMV in 720p. There is some way to view the scenes that will satisfy most users. I downloaded the 720p MP4 which aren’t exactly that. They come in at 1280x674 and 23fps. Oddly, the bitrates vary widely from scene to scene with some being as low as 3,000 kb/s and some being as high as 10,000. Subjectively they look great even though the numbers are a bit lower than competitor sites.
The site supports download managers and I had no issue with links timing out in an unreasonably short time.
The site offers a TBP discount which is a good thing because until it grows it would be a poor value at the full price. The same company has 61 other sites listed here (Casting Couch X being the only one I’m familiar with) and it would be a good idea to bundle it with other company sites until it grows.
The bottom line is that at $18 for 12 scenes (with more to be added, presumably) the site likely isn’t a good enough value for the casual user. I think it represents fair value at the discounted price since this is a niche I like and many of the models here are those who are on my list of current favorites. I think the real measure of value here will be how quickly the site grows and how close they are able to stick to their premise of petite models while growing the site at a reasonable pace.
I think you're right. I've learned to be wary of 'new' sites where the preview page looks the same as many other sites and there really is no useful preview.
