But I don't think it's just age. I haven't been a big fan of Christmas for years. My wife is insane about it and I think that's part of the reason I dislike it. But I do cook a traditional Christmas dinner and invite friends and family. A man's gotta eat. As for Santa not handing out what's really wanted, I'm saddened to report that as with the past few years, Tanner Mayes has not appeared under my tree. And to answer the poll question, that's a definite yes. I'm a bit disappointed to see that there are no holiday deals being offered through TBP though. As much as we all try to be objective when writing reviews the reality is that whether you like a site is usually a subjective decision - as long as the site isn't a fraud, of course. And in that light, the more reviews the better. Many will find your information more useful when they're trying to determine whether what Babes Network offers is to their liking. Any ay you look at it, people are far more likely to forgive a slow download speed or a messy site design if they like the porn rather than the other way around. A well-designed and run site that offers nothing you like is of no value to anyone. Keep up the excellent work. I consider value more than the outright cost, but still, $50 is definitely on the very high side of subscription fees. I joined several "Little" sites, like Little April and Little Summer. Like you, I've kept some of the videos even though they are almost unwatchable due to being such low resolution. Little April is 400x300! The strange thing is that these sites seem to still exist. I can't imagine anyone who joins now would be terribly happy to find the quality that low. One solo site that I still have a lot from is Brooke Skye. I see the site is delisted here due to some shenanigans on the part of the site owners, but I've also heard that the site was taken down when Brooke called it quits. At least that site offered some decent video resolutions. But it seems that Lightspeed is trying to survive in 2013 with a 2003 business model. And I'll bet that if/when the business fails the site owner will blame piracy and ignore the fact that his site is woefully out of date. I agree 100% that this is an entirely reversible problem. All Lightspeed needs to do is get some new models and start shooting in updated resolutions. I’ll admit that it is probably unfair to criticize a site that I’m not nor have ever been a member, but I think the stats speak for themselves. Like many here, I’m always on the hunt for new sites. The main Lightspeed sites have long been on my radar because I really like solo girl sites. But since I’ve been burned by several, I tread lightly now. So in that vein I looked at Lightspeed World, which now appears to offer access to all the Lightspeed girl’s sites for one price. That price, $40, is a bit steep but I measure on overall value rather than price alone. So what do you get for that money? Access to “over 80 gigabytes of original content!” Yes, over 80GB! I’m guessing that actually means just slightly over 80 and not 1TB of original content. But it gets better. You like HD video? Well be prepared to be blown away with full 640x480 resolution! For those of you still on dial-up there is also 320x240, but that will still look good on your 14” monitor. What else, you ask? How about a daily download limit of 4GB! No big deal, really, since you don’t want to be tying up your phone line with downloads for more than 12 hours, right? Look, in all my posts and reviews here I try to be fair, but in this case the numbers simply don’t add up. It looks like the site just gave up a decade or more ago. But I know they didn’t because I heard Mr. Lightspeed’s lawyer interviewed on a radio program just 18 months ago. And yes, there is a Mr. Lightspeed, but the interviewer did accidentally refer to him as “Mr. Lightyear.” Mr. Lightspeed’s primary complaint was piracy and I agree with him on that. I despise piracy because it is killing a hobby that I have. As I get older I’ll have to drop some hobbies and I suspect that porn will win out over mountain biking as I creep into my 50s so I want porn to stick around and show that by buying memberships. But the thing is that any membership I buy has to have objective value. 2,000 5-minute videos in 640x480 resolution just has no objective value in a world where I can buy a membership to dozens or hundreds of sites that offer true HD and don’t impose such strict limits for less money. And I am talking sites with original content too. And it can be done. Take sites like ALS Scan. They’ve been around since before many PU members ranked girls before Tonka trucks and they offer some of the best stuff on the internet, in HD and no limits – for a lower price than Lightspeed. I’m guessing that if Lightspeed had followed a similar trajectory as ALS Scan then things might be different. I’m grateful for TBP and PU for saving me from getting burned. I find that the space for a PU member writing a review isn't large enough to include all the stats that TBP reviewers include, and I doubt that many of us PU members would ever go into that much detail, so the information I get from TBP is valuable. The information that I get from user reviews may point out some hidden gems or flaws so those are valuable too. First, the site has grown a lot and continues to update regularly. Currently there are 105 DVDs on the site. The site primarily gives access to several series’ from Mile High / Reality Junkies. These are: American Tranny (15 Scenes) Babysitter Diaries (64 Scenes) Big Breast Nurses (41 Scenes) Charlie’s Porn Family (6 Scenes) Corrupt Schoolgirls (24 Scenes) Cougar’s Prey (43 Scenes) Couples Seeking Teens (71 Scenes) DP my Wife with Me (8 Scenes) Filthy Family (52 Scenes) Girlfriends Get Even (15 Scenes) MILFs Seeking Boys (24 Scenes) Mom’s Cuckold (69 Scenes) Office Perverts (48 Scenes) Pornstar Athletics (15 Scenes) Too Big for Teens (69 Scenes) You might be able to tell from the titles, but the two best-served niches here are teens and MILFs and there is a lot for both groups. Many of the titles cover both niches in the same scene. I’m more of a teen fan but the number of MILF scenes don’t bother me. It does seem a bit odd to have selected two opposite niches to cover. One niche that isn’t common on the site is anal. That’s a negative for me but I realize that’s a positive for a lot of people. There are currently only 32 anal scenes on the site and those are split between the teen and MILF genres. (This doesn’t include the 15 tranny scenes which probably also have anal.) The update schedule is regular, but also fairly slow with only one scene being added every four days. Given that the site only draws from one studio the update schedule is understandable. I don’t think it’s a negative, but you should be aware of it if you plan to join. The other big change from when I reviewed the site is that like all sites on the Fame network the timeouts when using a download manager have lengthened considerably. Before the change it was impossible to queue more than three scenes because the links would time-out so quickly. That’s been fixed. There is still a time-out limit but it is much more reasonable and allows you to queue 15+ scenes (720p, approx. 1GB per scene), though this also would depend on your internet connection. Also like all other Fame sites there are a lot of options for downloads and streaming. WMVs are available in 160p, 240p, 360p and 480p. MP4s are available in those resolutions too and are also available in 540p, 720p and 1080p. I’d keep the 88 score that I gave it last time and still recommend the site to anyone who’s interested in what is on offer. I can’t confirm if the trial is still full and unlimited but the discount price makes this a pretty good value. One final note: I’m not saying that PinkPanther is wrong in his comment, but I haven’t experienced anything like that in the two times I’ve been a member. I really don't understand this practice. I agree that they may make a bit extra money by fleecing unsuspecting customers, but when a site offers good material (which Private does) and they are trustworthy, then I'll rejoin again and again and again. They make more money from me by being honest. I think I'll be watching my credit card for a while. I've joined EA through TBP / PU several times and I'm also on their mailing list. There are times when I can have 10 or more emails from them with the same offer. While it can be a bit annoying, some of the offers are unbeatable (like the seven days for $5) so I just delete the duplicates. You can probably get deleted from their mailing list but that would also end the offers. They (along with many other Fame Network sites) are constantly making decent offers. 12-05-13  01:14pm Comment 1672 Private.com (0) Tricky to cancel a membership I'm coming to the end of a month membership and went to cancel. It was a much more frustrating experience than usual so I thought for future members my lessons-learned may be of use. I'm used to billers like CCBill and Epoch so my default means to cancel is to go to those sites and cancelling is easy. Private's primary biller is Rocket Gate and that's who I was billed through. I went to their site and found nothing for consumers so I Googled "Rocket Gate how to cancel membership" that did take me to a page where I could enter my email and username. The problem is that they had no record of me even though they are the biller. So I emailed them. That was 24 hours ago and I haven't had a response. The Private site has no link for your account, but at the bottom there is a link for support. That leads to an FAQ page where there is a question about billing. Most of the answer directs you to Rocket Gate, but if you have the same problem as I had then that's not of any use. There is, however, a link to prvtbilling.com. That brings you to a page on the Private website that allows you to enter your username and email address. That worked. I should also note that I didn't receive a confirmation email when I joined. Those often contain cancellation information. I first thought that could have screwed up my email address when I joined and that would explain the lack of a confirmation email and the inability for the biller to recognize me, but since the Private site itself recognized the email address I'd say I wasn't at fault. My final advice is that since your membership remains active for the month even after you cancel I recommend trying to cancel early in case you do have problems. 12-05-13  01:10pm Replies (10) Reply 1673 Private.com (0) Reply of RustyJ's Comment I'm a current member and can sort of answer your question. I wish I could give you a straight answer but the problem is that something strange happened with my membership. When I joined I first accessed the site using the link provided when my membership was confirmed. I didn't save the link or even note what it was because I had no reason to think that I'd need to. That site did have magazines available and my plan was to go through them later. But the thing is that the next time I went to log onto the site using private.com it was a different site. The site looked different, the navigation looked different and there were no magazines. The videos were all the same though. I don't know if I just happened to join just as they were updating the site but I can say for certain that with the site you access through private.com there are no magazines. As for photos, there's bad news there too. There are no photo sets that I can find. There are photos available but they are related to the videos (though they don't look like screenshots). They also open in the same viewer that the streaming videos use so there doesn't appear to be any way to download them as zips.
