I selected an answer only because I figured I needed to to post a comment.
For me, the question is moot. Males are props in b/g porn. The male should never try to upstage the girl and should never become the focus of the scene. The male's job is to STFU and help the director, cameraman and female talent best display that female talent. Hairy or shaved balls can't contribute to that goal so it isn't an issue for me.

Great review and very useful. After having a membership to Massage Creep I learned I have a bit of a thing for massage videos. I'll probably take a look at the better sites that you mention and for people reading your review and comments I'd definitely add Massage Creep to the list of good massage-themed sites. Massage Creep is probably one of my favorite sites that I spent some time at this year.

Like most here I prefer to pick my own as I use a pattern. But i isn't a really big deal for me since I also copy all the membership information into a Word document for easy reference - including the date and last file downloaded for sites that I go to regularly.

I always recommend Adult DVD Empire and its sister site Adult Empire. Be careful though since there are two "Adult Empire" sites out there. One is the VOD site and the other is a paysite that must be less-than-reputable since they've been de-listed here and at TBP. The VOD site is pretty obvious and you can best reach it by simply entering "adultempire.com" into your browser.
Adult Empire has a huge number of titles that you can get a 24 hour rental for $1.99 U.S. They have other options too, but avoiding DRM there is costly and not offered with all titles. If you do decide to use one of these sites, make sure to cross-shop them as the prices vary between the sites even though they're the same company. I also cross-shop them against the sites that pat recommended. That way you can be sure you're getting the best price.

I use it a lot to watch titles from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s when I can't get access to them any other way. If anyone wants some recommendations I've done a few reviews of the bigger sites.
But, as an anti-DRM guy, it does bug me to have to do it this way.

I'm not tech-savvy, but if possible, I think it's always a good idea to offer options. This site is known for large file sizes so having HD only would eliminate customers who have slower download speeds or bandwidth caps.
On a related note, I've discovered another issue with the site. While I've moved beyond the older material on the site (the stuff posted earliest, not necessarily produced first) I'm seeing fewer broken links. I'm downloading the highest resolution wmv files and some, though not many, of those still have broken links. I always try another resolution and sometimes the only one that works in 'AVI Xvid.' This might be a proprietary codec since it tries to download a licence from a site drm.ztod.com, which is no big deal, except that the link to download the licence is broken!!! Grrrrr...

For me, it’s a mix of some of the choices above, but mostly it’s a nickname some friends gave me almost 20 years ago. Some friends and I were on a remote camping trip and when trying to make a fire all the wood in the area was too wet so I told them I knew of a place where we could ‘borrow’ some firewood for the night. All of us went so we could carry enough wood, and since it was dark, in the woods and we were all pretty drunk I took charge and promptly fell in a ditch. Someone declared that based on my military job and the fact that I was in charge I’d be called the Admiral. With their permission, I later refined that to Rear Admiral in recognition that in our regular flotillas of canoes I was always stuck in the heavy one at the rear of the pack and the fact that I have a strong attraction to a certain part of the female anatomy. So it stuck.
One of these friends later told me that of three friends he has with nicknames, all have double meanings referring to the female bottom.

I'm with the majority here. If the tour pages are bad, then I'm not apt to open my wallet.
This is only partly related to the poll, but one thing that always bugs me and makes me less likely to join is not being able to see what is inside before I join. We've all seen sites where the tour is maybe two or three pages and the next click is right into the join page. I give full marks to sites like Videobox who allow you to see EVERYTHING they have to offer so you can make an informed decision.

I was a member there a long time ago and it may not have even been called Reality Kings then.
The reason I joined was for Captain Stabbin. Can you give me some information on that site? Does it still update? Is it still anal-themed? Does it still take place on a boat? I understand that the original 'Captain Stabbin' retired a while ago, which is probably a bit of a negative because he added a creepy yet fun element to the scenes. The preview pages don't really give me enough information to get the anwers to these questions on my own so any help would be appreciated!
I was also a big fan of In the VIP and VIP Crew. As I recall, back when I was last a member (which was probably more than five years ago) they weren't all about tattoos and fake breasts. That's definitely a negative for me too.

The $9.95 rate after three months is pretty tempting. I maintained a Videobox membership for more than three years because it was so inexpensive. That might be the case once I join 21Sextury too.

Great review. Based on reviews here I've been thinking of finally taking the plunge. I must be the last PU to never have had a membership to either 21Sextury or 21Sextreme. The biggest reason I've had for that was the price structure. Can you confirm that for the membership fee you got access to the full network without having to wait for two months? Thanks!
I suspect that when I do take the plunge it'll be on 21Sextury. I have nothing against most fetish stuff, I just think the more mainstream stuff on the main network will be a better place for me to start.

Good luck with this - it looks like from Sarah the webmaster's post they'll be able to help you out. I really wasn't looking for the ALS Angels sign up offer so I can't say for sure, but I think it came after I had submitted my credit card information for ALS Scan.

I know it's a personal thing, but I've always liked the interaction between the model and the crew where it's appropriate. Obviously in a plot-based movie (do they still make those?) it wouldn't work, but it works really well at ALS Scan.
File sizes may be a problem for you, but the trade-off is unbelievable quality - for both pics and video. This really is impressive stuff.
I agree that there will always be a subjective element in a score, but as long as a reviewer explains the score then I'm okay with something very low or very high. And honestly, while there is a subjective element in my high score, there is a lot of objectivity too. This could be a site with obese, hairy senior women and I may not like it much, but I'd still have to give credit for the technical near-perfection.
And jusr in case anyone from ALS Scan reads this, please don't start using obese, hairy senior women as models. I was just using that as an example. :-)

Thanks for the comments, and thanks for the information on the difference between the two sites. I figured that it had to be something like that. The models at Angels are certainly 'curvier' but they are still amazingly beautiful. I hope that Alex is representing them as inferior to the models at Scan becasue they aren't.
When I joined a year ago during the signup process I was offered Angels for $9.95. Same thing happened this time. It's possible but not probably that I just got lucky both times and signed up when there was a special offer. I susepct that it's a standard offer now. And if it is, you get your wish of both sites for just under $40.

Thanks messmer! As I said to elephant, while I can understand that some people would have no interest in the photo shoot videos, they work for me. I can't really say why, but they do. I downloaded more of those than masturbation scenes.
And thanks for supporting the high score. Based on the scoring criteria here, I think it is justified and I hope that anyone reading the review will see why I scored it so high. They may not agree, but as long as they see where I'm coming from.

Thanks tangub. I'm not a big fan of the fisting and peeing either. That's a bit strange for me to say that because in other contexts I do have a bit of an interest in those. I think that here it seems a little out of place in that the site is more about glamout than raw sex. But these things on ALS Scan don't get in the way of the scenes and they certainly don't detract from the site.
