Thanks for the comments pat. Your original comment was a big help to me. I know I'd have been pissed off if I had joined this site without having the information you provided. I'll answer your questions in the order you asked them:
1) A lot of is like that. There are extreme gapes, large toys, hard anal, pee play, stuff like that. DAP seems to be something they pride themselves in. There are even a few TAP scenes with models like Proxy Paige who are known for extreme acts. This isn't normal hardcore porn. You're certainly right that the focus is not usually on the woman's pleasure.
2) Hard to say. They're less 'medical exam' and more 'endurance test.' I'm not sure how to quantify sterile, but the scenes have none of the sexual tension that I like. But I knew that going in.
3) That's really subjective. It does push the boundaries but it isn't unpleasant to look at. Certainly anyone who prefers artcore wouldn't be happy with this kind of porn.
4) I think there is an element of that. I don't find the makeup is often overdone, but the clothes tend to the garish. My preference would be for a more natural look. You can't go wrong with natural.
I'm fairly sure I've missed the mark in some of these answers so feel free to ask anything else. I'll try to be objective in any answers I give you.

Let me get one thing out of the way first: my opinion on this site is vastly different from pat362’s and I want to explain why. Pat’s comments are true, accurate and valid and if he hadn’t posted those I would have not known that this site was VERY different from everything else I’ve ever joined. If I hadn’t had the information that pat posted I would have written the same thing as he did. BUT… having been forewarned by pat that this site uses a completely different business model I was prepared for that and willing to join anyway. I’m grateful for pat’s comment since I went in with the full knowledge of what I was getting.
Further to the above, I think it is more accurate to think of this site as a store rather than a normal porn site. You pay your membership fee and that gets you access to 1500+ free scenes but if you want the newest stuff (less than a year old) you have to pay an additional amount. The flaw is that this can be an expensive way to get porn. But if this is the kind of porn you like then you’ll like it a lot.
One aspect that pat commented on was the ‘attestation’ requirement. After you buy a membership you have to prove that you own the credit card you used. The process is simple: the site deducts a small amount from your card. You log on to your bank, confirm the amount and report that back to the LP site. The amount is refunded. The process took me less than five minutes. The process is an attempt to limit piracy.
The second thing I should mention before I get into details is that this isn't mainstream porn that will interest everyone. Most of the scenes here push the limits of hardcore. Most of the scenes are at least threeways and scenes that don’t feature anal sex are rare. You’ll also find milk and cream enema and pee play. The scenes are definitely NOT artcore.
You can choose different levels of membership with the difference being how many premium tickets you want to buy upfront. Once you’re a member there are three different ‘classes’ of videos – the premium ones that you buy with the tickets you get with a membership, the ex-premium ones that you buy with free tickets (you get one free ticket per day when you’re a member) and the free videos you have access to through your membership that you need no tickets for. It appears that videos that require paid tickets move to requiring free tickets after a year. It doesn’t appear that the premium videos ever become completely free with a membership.
The site itself is a giant clusterfuck that needs to made more intuitive. I got used to it but it can be improved. Scene a model naming are a constant problem with generic meaningless names being given to scenes. Since Russian and Eastern European models change their names more than their socks I can’t entirely blame the site for that, but it’s still annoying.
Newer videos are available in two resolutions – 640x480 and 1280x720. Both are MP4. Older videos are only available in the lower resolution. I downloaded the higher resolution and those have a bitrate of 4500/kb/s so they look decent. The older scenes have a 2500 bitrate and they look okay too. Trailers are available, as are photos.
Many of the older ‘free’ scenes are available elsewhere (like Videobox) but the resolutions here are usually higher than at other sites.
I used a download manager and had no issues with it. Download speeds varied and there were some times when the speeds were slow but most of the time they were okay. Sometimes they were fast.
You can buy scenes individually without a membership. One piece of advice is that if you do want to buy a few scenes work out the cost and compare it to a membership. Buying scenes individually is VERY expensive with that cost being about 3 times the cost of the tickets for the same scenes.
I found scoring the site to be difficult and I finally settled on a fairly low score mostly for objective reasons. The biggest of those is that the site isn't easy to use: it could use a major overhaul. If I factored in my subjective opinion on the quality of the porn the score would have been higher. If you like your porn with a harder edge you’ll love the porn even if you don’t like the process to get it. I know the biggest criticism of the site will be having to pay for newer scenes, but think of the membership fee as giving access to 1500+ scenes and you can buy the newest scenes.
I’d recommend the site with four caveats: go in knowing that the porn is a lot harder than what’s available at most other sites, that the site itself is illogical, that unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money you’ll be leaving the newest scenes behind and finally that business model is unlike any other porn site. If you do decide to join go in with your eyes open. I’m glad I joined and I’ll probably rejoin again. |

I don't think there's a worst place for all porn. If done well any setting can work well. A shower or a bedroom can work great if the context is right. So can a dingy old warehouse. My favorite setting is usually outdoors and those can be done well if the technical people have the right skills.

While I agree with you that it would be great if VB would licence and upload some older titles I don't know that they'd be better served overall. I'd love to have access to a wider catalogue of titles from good studios from the 1990s and 2000s.
But the problem with that is that's when guys our age started to get access to good porn and it means something to us. And guys like us are creeping into 'old man' category but some standards. So the younger members might not appreciate these older titles like we would.
I would definitely support a site that gave me decent quality old Anabolic/Diabolic stuff. And many other studios. Maybe I could fulfil my dream of owning every scene Tammi Ann or Inari Vachs did.

I just finished a month membership there and saw this happen twice - where a scene gets uploaded twice in a week because it appears in two crappy compilations. I suspect that there are some scenes on the site six times. Maybe more.
I've said it many times that VB would do well to change their business model. Push quality over quantity. I'd be happy with two good uploads per day rather than four crappy ones and one decent one.

The last time I reviewed this site I scored it fairly high and I saw it as more of a network with a collection of sites. Now, three years later, I’m rethinking both of those positions. I’ve scored it lower because it now does more wrong than right, and when a ‘network’ also offers one main site where all their material is available I now view those niche ‘sites’ as being more like tags for sorting.
I really don’t recall what the site looked like or how it was laid out three years ago when I was last a member but it now comes across as wanting to be a competitor to Videobox. If that’s true it misses the mark by a wide margin. MA has many of the weaknesses of VB without having any of its strengths.
The site currently has 7,475 DVDs uploaded. They also show 39,745 scenes as being available. For a DVD-based site they have a serious flaw in that if you open a scene it isn’t linked in any way to the DVD where it’s from and there is no information the DVD either. It appears that all the scenes are on DVDs but I can’t say that for certain. I wouldn’t join on the expectation that you’ll get access to the DVDs AND get access to a lot of scenes too. I don’t think the site works that way though it isn't obvious. (I also have to admit that while it appears that all the scenes offered in the niche sites are taken from DVDs on the main site I can’t be certain that they all are. The way all the sites are structured makes that determination impossible. The effect may be that the site looks much larger than it really is.)
While the numbers of DVDs (and/or scenes) is impressive they only have 140 DVDs in HD. Where no HD is offered there are four resolutions of MPEG4 files available and listed as bitrates: 2000, 750, 500 and ‘portable.’ For the few HD scenes here those are offered as 1080 and 720 (1920x1080 6000kb/s and 1080x720 4000kb/s, respectively). The highest bitrate scenes in SD come in at 640x480 and 2000kb/s. To be fair MA has access to a lot of older porn from the 1990s and 2000s (which I see as a great asset for the site) so I can’t expect a lot better, but when VB uploads two HD DVDs per day MA looks to be lacking. Don’t join here expecting a lot of quality because you won’t find it. (Of the scenes 39,745 only 2020 are in HD.)
Updates are another area where MA is lacking. But with the way the site doesn’t link scene selections with the DVDs they’re from it can be a little hard to tell. If sorting by DVD it appears that a DVD hasn’t been added in almost three months but when sorting by scene the update schedule is better. There doesn’t appear to be a regular update schedule but it appears that at least one scene is added per week and in some cases two scenes may be added per week. When you contrast that with VB’s upload of five DVDs per day MA comes up short.
One weakness that this site and VB share is an over-reliance on compilations. It’s less acute here at MA but it is still obvious.
MA has a broad tag system for selecting scenes with approximately 115 niches tagged.
The site supports download managers and I had no problem with links timing out, though with the file sizes being so small that shouldn’t be an issue anyway. I also found no download limits were imposed.
One advantage that MA has over its competition is that they offer porn in a lot of niches that aren't widely available on other similar sites. For example, they offer a lot of black-themed titles. Not interracial, but actually black-themed. Also, there is what I would call ‘senior porn.’ Not old men fucking young women or vice versa, but actually titles where all the talent is older. Finally, the site offers some gay material too, which seems odd on a straight-oriented site.
The bottom line is that I’d only recommend this site to get access to some specific titles or studios that aren't offered elsewhere. Other than that this site comes up short in more ways than it succeeds. While it offers a low price through TBP/PU that low price isn't enough to offset the low resolutions for most of the videos. If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat-buffet approach to porn you’re better off joining Videobox. VB is a much better value for your porn dollars. |

I started a thread in the forum on this very thing (https://www.pornusers.com/forum/forum_th...d.html?threadid=4131). Burning Angel is a Fame site and while they make it easy to join they certainly make it a thorough pain in the ass to cancel. You can do it online but they make that hard, and the fact that you couldn't find out how demonstrates that. I always retain the confirmation email because that will direct you to one of several site that the company uses for cancellation purposes. Once you go to the right site then you start a complex process. Fame has some great site so I really don't understand why they need to make is so hard for members to come and go.

It's sad that porn, or maybe erotica is a better term for this kind of material, has to chase a dollar and go to the lowest common denominator. I like a fairly wide range of porn and my collection has a lot of this 'softer' stuff. I like the more natural feel and timing to it. It has a sensuality to it that the hard stuff (purposely) lacks. There's more than enough hard stuff out there; I hope those of us who appreciate the artcore sites can persuade them to go back to their original purpose.

I'm a fan of artcore/glamcore sites too but I haven't joined any in several months. I wasn't aware that Sex Art even existed. I also wasn't aware that a lot of sites I like have been shifting to a 'harder' model. What I like about these kinds of sites is the connection between the models that adds so much sensuality. I also like that the scenes aren't hour-long endurance tests. I hope existing members challenge the site owners and cause them to go back to the softer stuff.
One question - when you say the scenes are 'dark' do you mean the actual lighting or the mood? Or both?

It's rare that I read a site's Terms unless the site has no TBP or PU reviews. If there is a TBP review and several PU reviews I can usually get the information I want there. Mostly I'm looking for unusual limitations like download limits or streaming only. Those get flagged well at TBP/PU. But even in those cases where I do read the Terms they can sometimes be vague and I still have to take a chance.

I joined this small network based on the tour pages and the sample videos that I was able to download and watch. The problem with this approach is that I figured that the size and resolution of the videos were low and small precisely because they were previews. After joining the site I learned that the quality in the member’s pages was no better.
I joined primarily because the sites in the network seemed to have a public nudity theme and that’s a niche I’m interested in. For fans of that genre there is a fair bit here but the network’s shortcomings likely outweigh any advantages. To be fair, this is some decent public nudity. Where it loses marks in my measure is that they trade off brazenness for heat. Val, for example, makes a lot out of her arrest and 30 days in jail for public nudity and then flaunts that by wearing pasties and panties that match her skin tone to attract more police attention. There isn't a lot of sexual heat in those shoots.
There is some girl/girl and very little boy/girl (oral only) so don’t join expecting to see these models in hardcore action.
The network has five sites but one of them is a cam site and I didn’t check it out. I’m not really into those and I don’t want to risk additional charges for something I don’t want. So this review is of the four solo girl sites on the network. The four models are all young, petite and attractive. They all have a wholesome look popular in many amateur models. The girls and their sites are:
• Val Midwest – 45 videos and photo sets
• Melissa Midwest – 40 videos and 96 photo sets
• Foxy Jacky – 20 videos and 76 photo sets
• Sweet Adri – 12 videos and 79 photo sets
The site has some fairly serious flaws for both video and photo collectors. For video collectors the biggest drawbacks will be the low resolutions used and the fact that even short videos tend to be broken into parts. The highest resolutions I saw were 720x480 which are marginal at best. But when you consider that some of these videos have bitrates below 1000kb/s those are well below current standards. The best of the videos aren’t that good and the worst are badly pixilated. Some of the videos are 640x480.
I can’t give you photo guys much information here. I don’t normally collect photos but I certainly don’t if I have to download them one at a time. Yes, this site doesn’t offer zipped photosets.
You may be thinking that the reason for these problems is that these videos and pictures were made many years ago. That’s a fair question but since one model has videos and photos of her 2013 appearance in Hustler magazine it seems that the site does have newer content. Much of the material here could be older though based on a comment that exotics4me made in 2013 about having been a member there ‘years ago.’
I can’t provide any clear answer on whether any of the sites updates or not as they don’t date any of the uploads. I’ve been a member less than a week and my plan is to cancel my membership today and not bother going back. Even if there were new uploads the resolutions are so low as to not have me too interested in getting them. The good news about cancelling is that the site bills through CC Bill so that won’t be a problem. My educated guess, however, is that none of the sites are updating on any regular schedule.
The site supports download managers but the file sizes are so small that they aren’t really needed.
I can’t say if this will be an issue with other users and I’ll be cancelling my membership and have no reason to go back, but while it is true that you get access to 5 sites with your network membership you must sign in through the site you joined through. Once in that site you have access to all the sites. What I don’t know is if the content on the additional sites is limited in any way. I have no way to check that.
If you do choose to join you’ll note that they offer a three-month membership. My advice is to avoid that. I downloaded 90% of the videos from the four girl’s sites in less than an hour.
The bottom line is that unless you must have photos and videos from these specific models you’re best to spend your porn dollars elsewhere. The monthly fee is $30 and that’s very high for what you get. The models are hot, and there is definitely some interesting stuff for fans of public nudity, but the videos are too low resolution to have any real collectable value. And if you need the photos be prepared for a lot of clicking on your mouse. My advice is that if you’re interested you should consider this carefully: it’s a lot of money for some not-very-good porn. |

I don’t normally subscribe to soft sites like this but with a chance to expand my collection of Maryjane Johnson and Claire material I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. It should be obvious with the word ‘Teen’ in the title that the site features beautiful and youthful models. Most of them are quite petite and there aren’t many tattoos and there are no fake breasts. If you like petite and natural teen models you should consider taking a look at this site.
The site is quite soft with the scenes being solo and girl/girl. There is some toy play and some scenes are shot outdoors. I don’t normally collect a lot of solo and girl/girl stuff and I found that a lot of the girl/girl stuff was even softer than I’m used to. It seems that a lot of these models might be just ‘gay for pay’ as there wasn’t a lot of interaction. I have to confess that this increased the heat for me though.
One advantage this site has is that it really offers good value for both video and photo collectors. The site doesn’t trade off one for the other as is usually the case for sites. I’m not normally a photo collector but with the beautiful models and the high quality photos I downloaded a lot.
There are currently 121 videos ranging from 5 to 40 minutes long. Videos are offered in 3 choices – HD, mid-range and ‘portable device.’ I’d normally download the HD but there was often a wide chasm in size between HD and medium. There are some HD files here that top out at over 10GB. That’s too much hard drive space for something that is only a peripheral interest so in some cases I opted for the mid-range.
The HD files are 1920x1080 with bitrates from 8,000 to 25,000. They look great – crisp and sharp. The mid-range files are 1228x690 3000kb/s. They look good too so they’re worth the reduced file size.
One (possibly subjective) flaw in the videos is that the music dubbed in can be loud enough to be obtrusive. Especially with a g/g scene the sounds the models make are often drowned out by the music.
There are 210 photo sets available with 70 to 400+ pics per set. The sets are zipped, though in some cases there are multiple zips. In one case there were 9 zipped files that had to be downloaded to get the full set. The photos are 5616x3744 and look good. There is a lower resolution available though I didn’t download those. This may be nitpicking, but in sets requiring multiple downloads I encountered a few cases where the same file name was used twice. This is definitely nitpicking, but I found some sets to be out of sequence. A model may be reclining on a bed with panties on, followed by several with the panties off, followed by the panties on, followed by the panties being removed. Yes, I’m a bit anal that way…
There’s one important question that I can’t answer: since the updates aren’t dated I can’t say if the site is updating or not. If I figure that out I’ll update that information.
There is no search function but one really isn't needed. There are tabs for sorting between videos and photos and there is a tab to sort by model.
The site supports download managers and I had no issues in queuing up downloads.
This was probably a one-time membership for me. I joined specifically to get video and photos for two models and one of those has left the industry so there is no hope of getting more of her. The site is quite good and the videos and photos they have are very high quality. If you like this type of model in solo and soft lesbian scenes then it’s certainly worth looking at this site as a possible membership. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it but I likely won’t be back. |
