Quality of the scenes should improve over time, I agree, unless they are recycling content, which a big producer might do if they have a huge library. I haven't rejoined Team Skeet, despite loving their content, because the download speeds were horrendous for me.

I assume so Capn. I have an ATK Network pass, which gives access to ATK Hairy and Natural, ATK Galleria, ATK Exotics, ATK Premium, ATK Petites, and ATK Archives. Every time I've checked the network for status I've checked all six sites. I just checked right now and all six sites are down again. Every time I mentioned that ATK Hairy was down, so was ATK Archives. I try to relay what's going on at ATK here because this is the one ATK site I use most and have reviewed, though I am keeping track of the other five. It would just be burdensome to post to all six sites' comments sections.
I know that ATK is doing all that they can to fix this. It doesn't behoove them to lose customers or the goodwill of members by being inaccessible. It's just frustrating for everyone.

I've been with ATK off and on for about 10 years. I love their sites. Despite what it may seem, I have a lot of patience with server issues, and I don't complain here spuriously. I have had contact with ATK's customer service about this issue, and they assure me that they are doing everything they can to resolve the issue. But people need to be warned that CURRENTLY, ATK Hairy is down due to DDOS attacks, and that they need to wait a bit to join to fully enjoy the site.
I will gladly post a new comment stating ATK Hairy is back up and running normally again when that occurs, especially as that means I can access the content again.
Keeping the faith is well and good, but I just think people should be appraised of what is going on at this site.

I just tried six ATK sites and they're all down (Hairy, Galleria, Exotics, Premium, Archives, and Petites), and they have been all day as far as I can tell.
This is a major problem. A site that cannot stay accessible is not worth joining or being a member of.

Asia Movie Pass is a site that leases Japanese adult DVDs and puts 30 of them on their site a day. It's a pretty simple. It's the thoroughness, selection, and features of the site that makes AMP stand out.
First off, Japan censors their porn. Genitalia and the anus must be obscured, which is usually done by mosaic nowadays, but sometimes by darkening it out. The vast majority of AMP's content is censored. There is some uncensored material, about 900 uncensored films right now, but compared to the tens of thousands of uncensored films, this is a paltry amount. Don't join if you're not okay with mosaic.
That said, Japanese porn aficionados will find much to like here. The breadth of selection is fantastic. Pretty much every niche of live Japanese porn is covered here (sorry, no hentai for you anime fans). Bukkake is a huge part of the selection, with facials, cum drinking, cum on food and eating, cum brushing, cum on body and/or hair, cum in public, and swapping vids all well represented. But the collection is pretty big in most categories, and grows bigger every day. Uncensored films are not updating like they used to. They were updating one per day, but there has been one update there since April. Not good.
The layout of the site is plain, but very functional. The search function is adequate, but not fantastic. It works best by serial number, but works okay by key word or model name. The category spinner is nice. You put in two types of content (like anal and bukkake) and it comes out with films with both types of scenes. And it is fast. But the best features are on each DVD's entry. There are link to a model's other content, other content by type, or related DVDs. Each DVD's cover is shown plus six screenshots. Almost all DVDs are described scene by scene, and there is a preview feature that can jump ahead in the DVD. Nice. Users can and do rate and comment on the DVDs. You can mark DVDs as favorites and they will store them for you to watch later. I'm not sure how many they'll store but I have stored more than 25 at a time. DVDs all have the release date and file size listed.
Downloads are fast, and Download Managers are allowed, which is nice as the file sizes are quite large (usually 1-4 GB), but you must use the same IP address. No DRM or download limits. File types are widely varied on the site, depending on the film. File types include WMV, AVI, MKV, MP4, and flash.
The films are usually in Japanese, with no subtitles, but the titles are translated, but often badly and with very humorous results. This can result with different DVDs in a series having different names. You'll have to search by serial number. But you'll get a kick out of the titles.
Overall, a very good site, with quirks. Falls just short of greatness due to the awkwardness of the navigation, austere visual design, and lack of uncensored updates.
I highly recommend this site for Japanese porn fans interested in expanding their collection quickly. |

I haven't watched anything on TV except hockey games in 15 years. It's kind of sad to realize how much conversation around you revolves around what people watched on television. But I guess the same thing is true about sports, or a hobby--like, say, collecting porn? To each their own.

Hi Advent, thanks for explaining the cause of the servers being down. It pleases me greatly to know that it was a temporary problem and I am sorry that some maladjusted individuals are causing ATK such a headache.
However, that does not change my opinion that the quality of the site has slipped recently, nor does it alter the fact that the price has also recently increased for ATK sites. ATK Natural & Hairy is still one of my favorite sites, but I lament that I pay more for what I consider to be less and less content that I find I download and enjoy. A sad state of affairs indeed.

Based on my experience, most girls prefer to shave "down there" nowadays. It doesn't surprise me that hairy models are hard to come by. But that is not the customers' problem. I had a very good rate at ATKHairy and waited and waited for an update from ATKryan (the webmaster)about the issue and canceled yesterday, and his explanation (it's hard to get hairy models, and more sets are coming in from abroad but delayed by customs) came today. Fantastic. Too late.
His problems getting models, again, is his issue. His customers were paying good money for good porn, and he wasn't delivering, and wasn't upfront and honest about why right from the start when it mattered most. THAT was what was wrong with ATKHairy--deliver the promised content or explain right away why you cannot do so for a brief period.

Well said. I don't mind paying more than I normally budget for porn if the content is exceptional in some way, or if I can get an exceptional value for the price. If you're looking for run-of-the-mill hardcore there are great values out there, but if you're looking for something else, you might have to pay more for good quality content.
It's a fine balance between "you get what you pay for" and "caveat emptor." That's why reading reviews of sites by others here at PU is so useful.

I really don't mind. I'm more concerned with samples that don't really reflect the real quality of the photography or the general level of explicitness of the subject matter. Hiding genetalia is also a common feature of Japanese porn, which I like, so it doesn't bother me much. I like eroticism more than luridness.
