I'm not particularly a fan of Tia and essentially joined this small network of sites for 88 Square so my review of Tia Ling was fairly neutral so its interesting to see that a fan such as yourself gives it a similar score to myself and if you joined up specifically for this site then i can understand how you would be so disappointed with what you got for the money. I've seen a lot of solo model sites over the years and i do think there's a fair amount of content here for a solo site, there's certainly a lot of solo sites with much more content but also a hell of a lot with far less but apart from that i have to agree with you on most of the points raised. I agree with you on the lack of quality, I prefer photos over videos and for me the 1280px photos here just don't hit the mark by today's standards particularly when compared to the stunning 1800px photos i've just downloaded from the Priya Anjali Rai solo site.
I see Tia still has her head in the clouds regarding the lack of video downloads claiming her fans are happy with this but clearly you prove yet again this is not the case and also blaming it on the tube and torrent sites when i think we all know the real reason some sites only offer streaming is to try and exploit paying customers into recurring memberships if they want to keep on viewing the content.

Well if you're happy and the majority of your customers are happy then who am i to argue. Respect to you for coming on here and defending what you believe in. All i tried to do was review the facts fairly as i see them to help other pornusers make an informed choice as to whether they wish to sign up to a site that is streaming only. When i sign up for any site i do so in the belief that i will actually be able to download the content i'm paying for as i'm sure the majority of people do. Once again thanks for your input.

I decided to test your theory. I have little to no technical knowledge regarding computers, infact your site was the first time i've ever managed to get Down Them All to work successfully. I did a simple google search of the words "download flash videos" and in no time found a simple piece of free software which basically allows me to save to my hard drive the video that is playing in my browser. After that i searched "convert flv to wmv" and again the first piece of software i downloaded for free enabled me to easily convert the flash file into a wmv file to store on my pc and play with windows media player. So if somebody with little technical knowledge is able to download and convert streaming videos to wmv in no time at all then i would suggest its a minor obstacle to someone truely intent on stealing the content and an inconvenience to paying customers who want to download and keep the content for their own viewing.
I appreciate the problems you and other websites face with theft but i don't really think denying paying customers downloads is the answer so we'll just have to agree to disagree on that. Thanks for the feedback anyway and hope your site continues to prosper:-)

Thanks for the reply and taking an interest in pornusers, the guys here are always happy to hear feedback from site owners/webmasters.
If you are so proud of the fact your site does not allow downloads why do you not promote the "No Downloads available" in the tour pages, I suspect because you know full well it would discourage genuine potential customers from getting out their credit cards. You are basically telling potential customers they might as well go and download your content from tube and torrent sites because they won't be able to download it by paying for a membership.
I seriously doubt these actions will stop those who are determined to steal your content as i'm sure those pirates have the software and knowledge to easily grab streaming files and convert them. I've never looked into it because i'm not really a video fan, i'm more into the glamour photography side of things and despite your attempts at restricting downloads of photos by having no zip files and disabling the "right click save as" feature i was still able to easily grab the sets that interested me using the firefox browser add on "Down Them All" but rest assured they will only stay on my hard drive for my own use. My attitude is i've paid for it so why would i want to give it to anybody else for free.
But anyway thanks to my review and the new review i noticed was posted at The Best Porn yesterday at least potential customeres now have advance warning of the "No downloads" policy and potential frustration. If you think penalising paying customers is the way to do business then good luck to you. With video downloads and photo zips i would probably have rated the site 10 points higher by the way. Once again thanks for the reply.

This is the site of Tia Ling who according to her bio here is a 34 year old Korean glamour model/porn star although judging by her natural sounding American accent I would guess she’s not spent much time in Korea, in fact a quick search of the iafd database puts her at 2 years older and born in Cleveland, OH. She’s 5 ft 1 inch tall and sports a pair of fake 34c tits and has a nice fit toned body for her age and a tribal tattoo on her lower back. I’m not quite sure what the deal is if you join her site directly, the join page here shows $5 less than I paid to join 88 Square but I see no mention of bonus sites in her tour area.
There’s a decent amount of content here for a solo model site with currently 174 photo sets and 112 videos dating back to June 2007 and according to the dates it looks like we’re still seeing one new update per week. Only problem is it seems the site does everything it can to try and restrict paying members from actually downloading anything with streaming only videos and no zips for the photos and even the right click has been disabled when you view the photos online using the flash photo viewer of slide show facility. The one piece of good news here is that I found I was able to easily grab the photo sets using Down Them All in Firefox. The photo and video sections are basically categorised into three sections, Solo, Action and Fetish, the action featuring both lesbian and boy girl hardcore, and the fetish section featuring some foot fetish, spanking and bondage stuff.
There’s also a live show section for where you can view previous live cam shows. The last show is showing as 197 days ago with no indication of any more shows forthcoming. Other features include a diary which still looks to be updated each month and a store where you can purchase various Tia souvenirs such as autographed photos. Overall as a standalone site I couldn’t really recommend it with the lack of download options and even as a free bonus site a couple of hours was enough to find anything of interest to me. |

I often wonder myself if anyone actually reads the reviews these days because there is very little feedback. I do mostly read your reviews because you're about the only long standing member left who still regularly reviews some of the softcore sites that interest me.

It seems to me like you are waging some kind of campaign against this webmaster and his sites. Having read the reviews and the replies relating to Asian Sex Diary all I see is a webmaster politely and robustly defending his sites and correcting misinformation. The webmaster even stated in his replies that he doesn't have a problem with your review overall and he fully appreciates that the site is not mainstream porn and would not appeal to everyone's taste. It's clear to me that what Jimmy did take exception to was your incorrect statement about not providing any free samples on tube sites and when he did correct you, even providing a link to the free samples, instead of admitting your mistake or apologising for your error you come back with some pretentious statement about how respected you are within the PU community as if implying you couldn't possibly have made a mistake. We are all amateur reviewers here and all liable to make mistakes now and then, when it's pointed out to you hold your hands up instead of making a melodrama out of it.
I can't help feeling that your motive for joining and reviewing the site in the first place was with the sole intention of trying to discredit the previous review from 10 days earlier where the reviewer gave the site a score of 99. I also find myself agreeing with the webmaster that a preconceived bias towards the site is clear to see but nevertheless it was an informative and well written review as are all your reviews. You're right when you say that you are a valued and respected member of the PU community but to make factually incorrect statements and then not be able to hold your hands up when the error is pointed out could just as easily lose you that respect. Reading the replies to your review I find it difficult to see what it is that you actually took offence to and can't help feeling that some PUers are being a bit over-sensitive over the webmaster's replies and find the calls and forum posts asking for the webmaster to be suspended or banned for simply providing feedback and correcting misinformation about his sites frankly ridiculous.

That still sounds like a lot of work though, when you're paying for a membership they should make the downloading easy. I'm wondering if a software programme like Bulk Image Downloader would work in paysites that don't have zip files. There's been a few sites over the years I've wanted to join but avoided due to the lack of zips.

A shame about the lack of zip files. I would probably be quite interested in joining this site if they offered zips. In the past I've found that I could batch download unzipped picture galleries from some sites using Down Them All in Firefox but even that option is no longer available since they disabled DTA in their recent update to that crappy Quantum browser.

Thanks for the review and warnings about this site. I was planning to take advantage of the $10 offer myself also but since I wouldn't trust Manwin with my credit card number I just haven't gotten around to going out and loading some cash onto my prepaid card yet. It sounds like Manwin are trying their best to fuck up this once great and formerly one of my favorite sites.

A very tempting offer but there's no way I'm prepared to give my regular credit card details to Manwin's dodgy Cyprus based billing company. Might have to pop out later and add the equivilant of $10 cash to my prepaid card. It's also worth noting that the $9.95 offer is for the first month only as it renews at $27.95.

Great tip cid2004, I've always found the search engine on CCBill website absolutely useless with a search for Twistys there bringing up zero results but Googling it as you suggest gets the results.

I clicked the join link today and got directed to Segpay, last time I checked a few weeks ago when I was interested I got Brazzers own dodgy billing company so didn't sign up. If you go directly to Epoch's site, click on "shop Epoch" then "adult sites" and search for Twistys you can find it there. Cheapest option looks to be around £20 (GBP) a month through Epoch so more expensive than the TBP/PU price.

Great review skippy. I have to agree with Claypaws in that Twistys was one of my all time favorite sites but without an independent billing processor i'm afraid i'll never be back as there's no way I will ever give my credit card number over to Brazzer's dodgy billing company.

Yes..I've tried both and i would definatley say Twistys is the better of the two sites. Babelicious is currently running at about 5 updates per week where as in Twistys i seem to remember it being something like 4 to 6 updates per day.

Wow, a hard hitting exposé from the PinkPanther revealing the truth about the demise of the once great Twistys Network which certainly wouldn't be apparent from the one page click anywhere and straight to sign up site preview. One can only hope as many people as possible see this review before wasting their money signing up expecting to find all the classic content. I had been tempted to join a couple of times recently by cheap holiday deals but in the end wasn't prepared to risk my credit card with their scam biller. I'm just glad I downloaded and kept all the classic photo sets I wanted from the Twistys, Blue Fantasies & Anette Dawn sites before they sold out to Mindgeek.

Of course i read the review, you gave no specific information about how often the site updates, just "so let's see how often updates come".
It would bother me if i'd paid 50 bucks and then found out the videos were as poor as 500 kbs to 1mb as jd10 stated in another reply. It might well be good amateur content but they are certainly charging professional prices.

Your review doesn't seem very thourough though, maybe you could provide more facts to justify a score of 90, ie how many videos are on the site, resolution and bit rate, how often does the site update, download options or streaming only? I doubt i would be interested in this kind of site but others might be. This reads more like an ad than a review.

Funnily enough I came across this site the other week, thought it looked interesting and bookmarked it as a possible join so I was delighted to see that you had reviewed it and rated it highly. It looks like you can join the network of sites but it's $49.95 for a month as opposed to $24.95 for the single site access.
