Favourite sites, scenes, stars, trends of 2018 I had been keeping a running list of scenes and sites that were my favourites in 2018 but I somehow managed to delete in in the past few weeks. Oh well… I can remember some of it. I’m hoping this thread gets more posts. I appreciate reading what people have found good (and bad) in the past year in the business because it might allow me to ‘discover’ a new star I hadn’t noticed before or hear about and then source a scene that sounds interesting. So please add your thoughts to this thread! And I’m not proposing any structure even though my post will be structured. This can be a free-form thread. Favourite scenes (this would have been longer had I not accidentally deleted my list): I think this was an early 2018 scene – it’s on Daughter Swap and stars Samantha Hayes and Sophia Grace. One thing I really like about this site is it frequently has interesting scene set-ups and this is one of the better ones. Samantha and Sophia are being pimped by their fathers to make some money. One girl is encroaching on the territory of the other and a shoving match ensues. The pimps/fathers intervene and it turns out they’re long-lost friends so the four of them head back to home of one of them to work this out. They decide to go into business together and each father gets to ‘test drive’ the other daughter. Samantha has always been on the periphery for me but I really like her performance (acting and sexual) in this scene. That she looks amazing doesn’t hurt either! There’s a model who only has two scenes that I know of and both of them are amazing. The model is Baby Goth and the site that has both of her scenes is Hookup Hotshot. In May they released her first scene and in October she her first anal was added. I like this site a lot and there are certain parts of the ‘formula’ that make it work for me. These are two great scenes! Last week I downloaded a 2017 scene at the Reality Kings site RK Prime. It features Kelsi Monroe. That rocketed to one of my favourite scenes because it has some amazing public flashing and nudity in the Miami Beach area. Favourite new stars: This is a tough call because we saw many new stars join the business. My preference is skewed to younger models (18-20) and petite so the list of favourite new stars is skewed heavily in that direction. Probably heading up this list would be Anastasia Knight (she started in late 2017 but I didn’t find her until early 201  . She fits the image of perfection for me. Emily Willis has a couple of scenes in 2017 (at Girls Do Porn) but her mainstream career began in 2018. Emily hit the porn world like a storm in that in one year she shot over 100 scenes and became known for some pretty raunchy hardcore and can be seen as an anal queen. Jane Wilde would be another in my Top 10 favourite new stars. Others, who are tops in my list are Emma Starletto, Harmony Wonder, Kiara Cole, Naomi Blue and Paige Owens. Rounding out my list of favourite newbies is (in alphabetical order) are Addee Kate, Ana Rose, Asuna Fox, Baby Goth, Bambi Black, Chloe Temple, Gianna Dior, Hannah Hawthorne, Kiara Cole, Kitty Carrera, Megan Winters, Mi Ha Doan, Piper June, Rosalyn Sphinx, Sofie Reyes and Victoria Gracen. It’s probably fair to say that this isn’t an exhaustive list. Retirees in 2018 that I’ll miss: • Cadey Mercury (Her Twitter feed said she had a stroke) • Elektra Rose • Jada Stevens • Kylie Martin • Lana Rhoades (semi-retired, doing cam and chat stuff) • Megan Rain (who may just be on hiatus after becoming pregnant and giving birth) • Melissa Moore • Natalia Starr • Nina Skye • Piper Perri • Quinn Wilde • Tara Ashley Favourite first anals: As anyone whose read my reviews here, you know I love anal scenes and I’m always near the head of the line to buy a scene when a model I like decides to start doing that. Probably the biggest one for me was relatively recent when Lily Adams gave up her ass to Mike Adriano at True Anal. I had been praying for this to happen! It was a strong scene and I hope it’s the beginning of a lot more anals. Hannah Hays and Anastasia Knight would be a tie for the next big deal for me. Hannah did her first scene in Anal Newbies 7. She’s said more recently that she’ll likely not be doing more anal. I can respect that though this scene will remain in my collection and get watched regularly. Anastasia did her first at True Anal. Fortunately, Anastasia has the makings of an anal queen. Rounding out the top ones for me would be Carolina Sweets at Tushy. Some others that I really liked were Kenzie Reeves Emily Willis and Paige Owens, all at Tushy. Tara Ashley did her first anal at Mofos. Hookup Hotshot had three favourite first anals: Baby Goth, Ava Parker and Kyaa Chimera. Brett Rossi did her first anal for Tushy as well and that was probably among the most anticipated scenes like this all year. Jane Wilde lost her onscreen anal virginity at Hard X. Vienna Rose lost hers at Perv City. Zoe Bloom at Tushy was another. Honourable mentions are River Fox in Eager for Anal 2 (available at Evil Angel), Athena Rayne at Holed, Ember Snow at Hard X and Kitty Carrera at Hookup Hotshot. I recently discovered a set of Hungarian twins named Nicky and Kitty Fox. (I’ll be posting a site review where they have several scenes soon.) They’ve done their first anals for Pierre Woodman at Woodman Casting. I haven’t rejoined to see it yet but I will be soon. Favourite sites: These aren’t necessarily sites that started in 2018, they are just the sites that continued to impress me and that I join regularly. Hookup Hotshot is my #1 favourite again this year. I just keep a recurring membership there because I like it so much. I know this site isn’t to everyone’s tastes as it does lean to the extreme end of the spectrum. Oddly, my #2 favourite is probably as different as you can get from HUHS. It’s Amateur Allure. I first joined this site in 2014 and have been a regular subscriber since, even buying an annual subscription once when it was too good to pass up. It’s definitely on the tamer end of the spectrum but I really like the models they have and their formula works for me. Daughter Swap would probably round out the Top 3 for me. I like the scenarios and I like the old/young niche so this site is one of the few that hits both targets for me. Other sites that I subscribe to regularly because I like their work are: • Bam Visions • Bang • Blacked • Blacked Raw • Evil Angel • Exploited College Girls • Jules Jordan • Perv City • Swallow Salon • Swallowed • True Anal • Tushy • X Empire I can’t think of any new sites in 2018 that are on my list of sites I return to over and over. That may be due to me deleting my list. Some trends that I’ve liked over the last year: Rimming at Hookup Hotshot. Yeah, I know this is really specific but while f-on-m rimming had been in some of the earlier scenes it really has become part of the main event for almost all the scenes now. I like this niche and this is some of the best I’ve ever seen. I don’t know what effect this will have on the business but 2018 saw the continuation of models moving away from the traditional agent and studio business model and onto online platforms that allow them to cut out the middlemen. Sites like Clips4Sale and OnlyFans are examples of this. The problem for us porn buyers is that this can be very expensive. Another trend similar to the one above is that there are some studios that are now offering uncut versions of some of their scenes at Clips4Sale. Perv City is doing a lot of this. Admittedly what they’re releasing isn’t for everyone since what they’re selling there are unedited scenes when Mike Adriano worked with them and where the model barfs during oral. In some cases though it is entirely intentional as in a scene with Cali Carter and Tiffani Taylor where they each drink a banana smoothie before getting facefucked. In another related trend, and this may just be where I’m headed personally, though it does seem this is becoming more popular, is the trend to harder-edged porn. Models barfing from facefucking was rare even a couple of years ago and now it is more common. Hard anal with lots of gaping seems big now too. I remember 10 years ago when gaping was rare and now it seems common. As an anal fan, I’m not complaining though! A personal downside: Due to several factors the Canadian dollar has slipped to some of its lowest levels in a generation. It was only 10 or 12 years ago that the Canadian dollar was stronger than the American but those days are over for now. For me it makes porn buying more expensive. I was pretty impressed with my memory too. I would have preferred to remember more of my favourite scenes but that's life. Just don't ever ask me what date my wedding anniversary is. I can get the month but the day and year, well, those are just a crap shoot. | |

I hope she does come back into mainstream porn though she could probably make a lot of money on OnlyFans and stuff like that given she's got a big fan base. I've seen a photo of the new boobs and while I object in principle they aren't out of proportion to her overall body size. | |

^While I would be glad if she made a comeback. I'm not holding my breath because I don't think it's in her plans. Of course plans change but based on her Twitter feed. She is concentrating all her efforts on her fan centro account and other means of making money that aren't porn. ^I doubt that she makes a lot of money from "OF" or for that matter "FC". Maybe in the beginning but sooner or later even the most ardent Megan fan wants to spend his or her money where you get actual content. It's my personal opinion that if Only fans and every other fan-centric site was any good than you could see what is inside prior to paying. Hannah's was decent for a girl who probably had never done it before but it was clear that she did not enjoy it. Anastasia was significantly better but she had already done one for Many Vids and it's clear that she was not unknown to anal sex. Her first True Anal scene was really good but her second one was even better. I would rather see her work with a different guy than Adriano. On an Hannah related note. She recently mentioned that she had started doing anal in her private life and might add an anal video to her Many Vids page. Frankly to me that is sad news because I have believed since nearly day one that Hannah is the poster child for why some people should never do porn or should quickly realise that it's a bad match and find another type of employment. ^ Damn it... I have no idea how I missed it, but I mistook Anastasia's second scene at True Anal for her first and somehow missed the first one entirely. It looks like I may need to rejoin TA sooner than I expected. I had heard that Anastasia did an anal scene for her own site but I hadn't heard any details about it so I mentally dismissed it with the expectation that it was likely poorly shot. I'll have to check it out. I agree with what you've said about Hannah. As much as I love to see her scenes she'd probably be better off in another line of work. | |

I read some of the same posts that Hannah wrote last year. I agree that she'd be better off in terms of wellness if she found another line of work, though I will miss her when she does retire. | |
