Cannot sign on The great majority of web sites where I click on "members only" for providing username and password, give me a page that says "Internet Explorer cannot display this web page". Why is that and how can I resolve that problem? | |

I believe issues like that are usually resolved by clearing your temporary Internet files and deleting your cookies. How do to that in IE I couldn't tell you. I haven't used it for anything but Windoze updates for years. Have you tried to access the sites using other browsers? Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

Since I use IE on a regular basis then simply click on your tools button on the upper right of the screen. It looks like a small gear. Then click internet options and you will see on the general page the option of deleting cookies and what not. I would also recommend you try to access the sites with Firefox or another browser to see if they work. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Every time a new version of IE comes out I end up fielding loads of customer service requests about login problems. IE8 was the worst - it kept insisting that the StripGameCentral login page was a phishing scam! I'm sure that cost me some customers  I always recommend using the more popular browsers like Chrome or Firefox. In my experience even Opera works reliably.
