Pros:

- While there are frequent updates, some are just older scenes that were archived

Bottom Line:
There seems to be many phases of BDSM in porn. Mainstream BDSM can be entertaining, but is rarely convincing. Some sites then take the violence and degradation to every extreme possible. Restrained Elegance does an exceptional job of not only living up to their name, but exemplifying it.
The videos are good at pushing close to an extreme but not quite reaching extremes. The actresses are clearly into BDSM and not just because the site wants to try BDSM scenes. I do believe the BDSM actresses are just like any fetishist and they are highly capable of delivering a performance matching their passion and interest in BDSM.
With that said, Restrained Elegance is not like the typical porn site. There are updates and some of the updates are just older scenes they have archived. There is a full explanation on their site that explains it would not be cost-effective to them to store all the scenes to be downloaded and streamed. I am not technical-savvy enough to know how realistic that is, but the way the site updates does not bother me in a negative way.
I do believe some of the humiliation could be stronger than most porn fans are used to, but I believe fans are getting smarter and more understanding about fetishes. There is an audience and room for new audience members. It just could be off-putting for some. One thing I appreciate about Restrained Elegance is you will never see a model look like she hates what is happening or like she does not want it to happen. This is a fine line that I believe separates Restrained Elegance from other BDSM sites.
The pictures are a major part of the site. These picture sets can be downloaded and show everything from the beauty of the models to the bondage contraptions in still photography. There are stories being told in both the pictures and videos. It truly makes for a unique experience in the BDSM genre. The videos are HD quality when downloaded and are enjoyable if you are into BDSM.
The site itself is a bare-bones site. Depending on the user, that can be good or indifferent. The site does make me feel like they are more dependent on the quality of the content than bells and whistles. Though, bells and whistles may show up as bondage accessories.
I do consider myself a BDSM fan and join this site about once a year. If you really like the content, a more frequent subscription could be the choice for you since it will open up more of the archived sets to you. Did I miss on making the analogy of the name Restrained Elegance in comparison to the way they update with archived scenes, kind of restrained but the scenes are always elegant.
It is a very good site. The biggest complaint against it is you do not get all their scenes.

Pros:
Beautiful models, good quality bondage. The updates are prompt. The photography is excellent quality. Lots of virity in girls, wardrobe, style of restraint and settings. They have a nice mix of old and new faces. In addition to new material they repost old material for new members or even old timers that may have missed something.
Cons:
I think the girls should wear heels more often, but that's me.
Bottom Line:
I very much enjoy the site. I don't think I could have designed a better one. I don't download all the sets but probably save eight out of ten.

Pros:

- Excellent technical quality to the photographs. Professionally shot by photographers who understand lighting and composition.
- Some interesting outdoor photo sets (in some great locations) as well as the studio shots.
- Videos with a 'movie' feel to them, carefully scripted, edited and produced, as well as simpler photoshoot style videos.
- A friendly feel to the site, more than just anonymous updates. Text about each update, forums, online chats, behind the scenes videos.
- All updates (photos and video) available as ZIP downloads and download speeds are good.
- Daily updates! Almost a con, as it makes it a little hard to keep up with it at times!
Cons:
- When my credit card expired I couldn't find a way to update the details with the payment processor so was forced to re-subscribe to continue my membership.
Bottom Line:
I'd seen the trial pictures from Restrained Elegance and joined as I liked what I saw. I've stayed as a member as I like the quality of the content. During my time of membership (two years so far) the videos in particular have been getting better and better and also the outdoor and location shoots.
This site is as it's name implies, models restrained in an elegant way. There's no hardcore sex or bdsm here, hey I like that too sometimes, just get that elsewhere. Here are beautiful women, enjoying bondage, being respected and not being objectified. There is a thread of 'harder' bondage content but with the back-story and forums, you learn how it's exploring the desires of the model involved. I like elegance, and in this site it meets restraint, what a great combination!

Bottom Line:
The point of bondage with hot women is to arouse sexuality, and most of the content on this site doesn't. Many of the "scenes" just seem half-baked; not enough "real" bondage. The videos are grainy and don't work in Safari. The photography isn't very good, and most of the photo sets don't have one really good photo. It just seems half-baked; like they are going through the motions to generate content without having any real ideas as to how to entertain their clientele.
