Well, I stepped in this one...

I'm a huge Brigitte Lahaie fan, and I can't find any of her stuff online anymore, so when I saw the "French Retro Porn" ad I jumped right in. The ad semmed to indicate hundreds of of DVD's of this genre, but there are only 6 titles on the single site; all the rest of it is like a schlockier version of Deluxe Pass with a whole lot of anime (!). I'm getting out the second I figure out how.

Login Issues

Just joined Hentai Key. However, there are serious login issues with the site. While it recognizes my username and password, it does not recognize its own "Security Key" or CAPTCHA. Filed a support ticket as the site advises, but so far, tech support has been unresponsive. We'll see how they respond before I decide what to do.

UPDATE: Tech support contacted me via e-mail with some suggestions. The one that worked was switching from Firefox 3.0.1 to IE7. While I don't like using IE7, at least it allowed me to log in. A more detailed review to come.

Caveat for Pornaccess.com

There are many "sites" available in a number of categories. HOWEVER, it should be noted that in each category, the CONTENT of the various "sites" is the same. The videos are simply aranged in a different order to give the appearance of variety.

Like another reviewer, Deluxe Pass was my first site. In 2004, it had great stuff - surpassed by others since, BUT I've been going through some of the old stuff from there, and there's a LOT I haven't seen anywhere else. Don't know if it's all still there, but I got something like 50 old french movies, some soft but most hardcore; some uncensored asian, and some "instructional" tantra-institute videos which are way cool! Lots of unusual stuff to go with way-too-many episodes of Pink eye. A great place to start your surfing career!

How can a pass like this still exist?
On account of suckers like us?
Maybe, but thanks to their preview-system it's still easy - but it takes time - to find out, that this Deluxe Pass hasn't moved an inch.
The updates - if there are any - is almost nada witin the last YEARS.
And for $29.95....been there twice - never again
- who said suckers? Yeah, here I plead guilty.

TOO SLOW

WAYYYY too slow. My >2mbps cable connection is getting a download rate of 60-70 kb/sec. 1+ hours to DL a few hundred megabytes. Good material though.
Few hours later: OK, get DAP, it really seems to help, 600+ kb/sec.

Lesson in Patience part 2

I reviewed this site awhile back, and decided to give it another chance. It really is a very good site, but for the sake of my sanity, put it all together! The search engine is dumber than the ashes from the lump of coal in the proverbial bucket. I searched for Eva and got everything except Eva, including a tranny site. Alright, if Eva Angelina ends up on a tranny site, I'm leaving.

The people the run the site and generally nice, though they don't speak English or at least the one I emailed didn't. They really tried to help, but the help just confused me that much more. I just don't have time to take a tutorial on how to use a website when there are 100s of other sites that I just click and go. The content I did find is well above average in quality and you do get some really nice German porn from it, I think it is German, that sounds like the language they are speaking. Still, I spent two weeks getting the site to work right, and another week trying to find the stuff I had already found.

If you are patient, give it a shot, the price is good $14.99 and they do have a pretty nice size collection.

first off :
except Bondanime and Titanime and Lestai have these movies without no legal issues

those sites are owneed by hentaiboss and hentaiboss dont own no license to any movie period, 100% stolen content.

I know for fact that hentaikey actually owns the license t over 200 episoded and pays yearly fees to the anime studios in japan,

in fact besided vod sites hentaikey is the only site that has legal weblicenses to hentai movies, so if yoo want to support someone that gives back that would be the best site.

plus they create 1000's of orignal images comics and games while all other sites dont do nothing but steal content, so figure you get what you pay for, and yes there is so much content it's impossible to license it all i guess but at least they make an effort besides just stealing like all other sites.

I'm surprised there is not more information on this site. It looks like it has tons of great amateur content. Its a little expensive at 29.95 but thats ok. Weird Legality

Legality seems to be a little weird especially on hentai sites,
one site called Hentai Movie Archive has a weird legal issue it is on the rabbits review site

and HentaiKey also has a lot of their movies with no legal issue except this one on the site, It is on Hentai Movie Planet.

"Licensed Movie" means that a DVD company has bought the copyright of that individual movie so now the only way to view this movie is by buying the DVD from a licensed store. Unfortunately, for that reason we are now forced to remove the noted movie from our site. The licenses are not held for a lifetime, if the license owner does not renew his license then they risk losing it and we would be allowed to promote this movie once again. We are always checking for expired movie licenses in this regard.

Our site is not the only site affected by this as no other site on the net can legally offer these movies so don't bother trying to find them elsewhere. Instead, we have decided to show you the thumbs without the links to let you know that although we do have this movie we cannot add them due to the licensing laws. Our network, HentaiKey, holds many quality licensed movies, allowing us to promote them as an affiliate.

An exagerated valuation of this site...

Aren't there certain fundamental's that should be met by this kind of operators...?

To qualify for point score in the '70' range - let alone the '80' range - I expect that the company should have a staff, who knows the trade...!

Not so with this lot.

I have subscribed to this site for two months (because I wanted to have a good look at it) and must say that I have not before seen a site as caothic as this.

1. The 'search engine' is of no use. You only get frustrated when trying to use it.
2. Performers are often given names (if any), which are not recognised in the rest of the world.
3. There is no reference to where videoclips come from, which makes it impossible to catalogise or else put the downloads into a workable system.
4. Videoclips are all over the place - more often than not - appearing in three/four places or more.
5. Many times you'll find that they have the wrong videoclip. I have pointed this out to the webmaster many times - in vain.

Some good old movies, awful navigation

This site does have a good collection of older movies that are otherwise hard to find, but the navigation is awful. I'd love to see them get to the site design quality of a Videobox. Then they'd have a great collection that was also well-organized and easy to access.

huge database

huge database of movies. high qualty bitrate (image quality) tons of catagories and no download limits. plus some pretty damn good extra sites. it is true that most of the movies around pretty big so dial-up users may have problems, but us broadband folks can download fast. and they do have fast servers!
