yeah, he's just passing off old scenes as new by putting current dates on them. I emailed Paul about this a few months ago and he said business is slow and it's still a good deal for the price.

It's a great trial-price, but still:
Where are the updates? - been a member - and a trial member - five og six times (it's just so cheap).
For first timers a fine deal - but according to the previews, the video-updates suck - I can count nine new hd and a LOT of OLD material added, since I was here 4-5 months ago.
Does old video-clips like in here still sell?

85,8 seems way to high at the TBP-score.
Been a - trial and full - member a couple of times - but this sites lacks quality - in both videos and photos.
You almost got to be a nerd for poor quality vintage videos to enjoy this - and a nerd I am about 1990th british models, so I found - some - ok stuff here - but later I found it in much better quality elsewhere...
This site is absolutly only worth the trial at $ 2.95 - browse a bit, have a little fun - and run away...

Yeah, your comment pretty much says it all. I would still recommend the site for porn newbies to download a bunch of decent looking older stuff because the trial is cheap. Other than that, it probably isn't worth more than the trial orice to look at the content.

Very disappointed with age and quality of content.

I joined as a trial member but cancelled before the end of the trial and will not be renewing.

The reason? The content is just so old, and most of it has been sold to so many other sites that I'm tired of seeing it.

Additionally in many cases the resolution of the pictures is unacceptable nowadays. It was probably fine back when the content was new and everybody had 56K dialup, but in this day and age we expect crisp sharp hi-res photos and HD video. Many of the sets on this site have been blown up to larger size, but with no increase in resolution, making them fuzzy.

Oh, and the big no-no: the email address I used to sign up is ALREADY getting spammed. Luckily I used a disposable address which I can just block, but this kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Either PMT or his sign-up company have sold my email to spammers. Nice.

I'd recommend that anybody thinking of signing up to this site save their money and go to a megasite where you'll find most of this content and much much more.

I upload and download every day and the speed is fine. Can you tell me what speed you get so I can check it out. Without people contacting me DIRECT from the message boxes on the site I can't solve the download problem. Because the first thing I have to do it isolate the problem.

As for auto downloaders I have explained why I do not allow them. If the speed is slow now it would slow down more if 10 members were auto downloading from the site. So the only solution is spend $5,000 to put in a new server that would carry the load. In todays market $5,000 is not worth it.

As for value, how much should I charge for 530 videos updating 3-4 a day?

It's usually the route between your computer and my server. The Internet is a web and the route across it goes through different places. Usually if the route is clear the download is fast, if not there will be problems. The only way to pin point the problem is to do a "Trace Root" this will identify where the hold up is.

It can be your ISP, or anyone of those on the route.

We did have a lot of problems before and they were mostly solved when we installed the Auto Download Blocker. This stopped a lot of the problems, but it can't solve the problem of the route from you to my servers. If anyone gets a problem please contact me as soon as possible so I can identify where the problem is.

I understand what you're saying and would love to accommodate you. Sadly it will not work.

Many of todays members only want a few days because it suites their needs and to give them limited access will upset them. They come back when it suits them and just don't want 30 days membership.

Also to have 4-5 people on auto download will slow down everything for everyone else. Would of been nice if I had launched the site in the good times and had multiple servers. Sadly I did not and just can't afford to put in new additional servers to cater for those who want to download the whole site. And many do want to. Works on a site with 40 scenes, but tough to do with a site of 500+ scenes.

We have tried to limit the amount people are allowed to download without penalising. Increase it a bit is a possibility, but we can't limit those who only want to be members for a few days because it suits their needs.

Running a paysite is a job of keeping as many people as happy as you can and maintaining a profit. No happy customers = no profit. No profit = no site.

Paid to subscribe for a month and this site has great content.
Great girls and the download is alright, its fairly consistent speed, although some breaks and interruptions happen when downloading some scenes. I've encountered some sort "unauthorized access page" when browsing through the site and after I backtrack and reclick the page link, it loads normally. Something is going on.

Okay. I understand that people pay for the full-access 3-day trial and then try to... (maybe successfully, I dont know)... try to download the whole site within the 3-day trial period using a automatic download manager. Punish them and not the full-paid month subscribers.
I use a automatic download manager and so going through the site, I like this and like that, so I add them to my queue and let it work, convenient. I download stuff around 150k speed, sometimes 200k but I am not going to go nuts and try to download all the girls scenes in one day, no. As a paid subscriber for a month, I expect to have the regular perks as being a subscriber.
Being restricted because of people who try to exploit the 3-day trial sucks.

One, if its such a problem, limit access for the trial period, or Two, instead of 3 full days, lessen it to 1 day. Three, do both, limited access and 1-day. If a trial user is really impressed with the girls on this site, they'll subscribe to the full monty. I did, but Im not renewing because of these restrictions placed on regular subscribers for others exploits.

What I found was that the content by date, going reverse chronologically, went back no further than Dec. 2007, stopping at page 108 with 20 entries per page.

Yes, this took a while. But I saw content with 2008 dates which I had picked up in 2006. So yes, there is rotation.

Some of the content posted for 2008 is very old. There are photosets of Jana Cova back when she was really not that good looking, and which I've seen plenty of times before. The jpegs seem as though they've been used so much that they've lost a considerable amount of data. Really, they look like hell. This is one of many examples.

But on the positive side, there were new photosets that looked great and which I'd never seen before. Some of them even went up to 1600 px. And the zip downloads were OK at about over 500 mbps.

I'm glad I had another look at the site, but I know I wouldn't have if that full trial wasn't available. I didn't get that much stuff from it, but it was OK for the trial price.

I get these notices some times and need to know exactly what the problem is, when it happens, what you're trying to access and where you are. Because if I try to check it when everything is running fine I can't find the problem.

Often it's the route the member is taking to the server and a slow down in the route which no one has control on. Sometimes it's simply too many people on the site all trying to download too much at the same time.

I need to know exactly what and when the problem is if I'm to fix it.

I could just have 3 servers based around the world, but that would mean taking scenes off the site to pay for the extra servers. Or just take scenes off the site. Which is something I'm against at the moment as I have increased the number of videos to around 570.

Downloading a video at the moment to test it and it's coming down fine, I'm at home which is a poor connection as I live in the back woods. LOL

Will test it from the office later today.

But if anyone has problems ICQ me 213 327 873 so we can look at it together and fix any problems.

Just looked at the server and I see in the report a few peaks of usage. This is too many people downloading too much at the same time. It might also be some people using auto downloaders at the same time and I will look into our protection against these. They make it great for one and crap for twenty. LOL

Solutions are, less content or throttle and reduce what people can download.

Poor download speed

I joined today using the trial option in order to download Sabrinas pics and video (known as Kim at ALS SCAN) but after some hours I only managed to download about 4 pic series and part of one of her videos.

The speed is so slow that it reminds me of the old days when we used to have analog modems connected to the telephone line. Speed is less than 15kb/s which is a real pain.

I checked everything, rebooted my PC and the router as well but that has nothing to do with my Internet connection. Other sites offer the speed I'm used to get. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

I would prefer not to use FLV. Not exactly my favorite file type. Any more you have to have good clarity in videos and picture. As a user that is a high priority when looking at a site that covers a common niche. If you had a more obscure niche then you could get away with lower quality, but that is not the case here. Quality sells!

Good points and taken in. I'm now getting all the new videos and pictures scanned to bigger sizes. Am thinking of giving a FLV version that will cover all needs. They will be for all. The two sites you listed don't have 1000 videos, easier to do with 500. I am increasing the number of videos on the site though.

Going back and editing the masters again?

Big job and needs planning. I'm thinking about it, more videos or bigger videos?

Yes I'm from the UK and spent 20 years there shooting content.

At the moment we have 50 or maybe 60 of the older videos on the site and some Photosets. Just to let everyone know that the site webmaster replied to my review and indicated that there is a new site being launched in the next month (or so) called Astral Blue, which is intended to pick up the older content and act as an archive for paulmarkhamteens.com. This says to me that they must have a whole stock of new stuff for the main site (this one), waiting in the wings to soak up everyone's bandwidth.

Can't wait. I have been a member, in the last 2 months, and will be a member again.

Interesting post and here is a question for all those who are confused about any sites rotation policy.

1. Do you want 2 sites with 410 videos and no rotation. As we now have over 1000 we would have a 3rd site at a lower price with the remaining content. How we split the content would be decided later.

2. A site with all the content for twice the price?

3. A site twice the size for the same price?

4. Or a site with 410 videos and rotating so over the month you see 530 and in your second month you see the other 530. All for $29.95?

We would make more money with option 1, but I felt it was not fair. Option 2 is a non starter because few would pay $59.90 for a month. Option 3 is great for the surfer, and I would like to get twice as much for my money as well. Not going to make anymore money and could lose us money with todays connections and downloaders.

Option 4 we feel is the fairest. By no means the best value for money site on the net, just the best we can do for the money. The members pay and we need to keep the site open.

530 for $29.95 = 5.6 cents a scene. OK so you only like half 11 cents a scene. Kill me for it. LOL

Hi paulmarkham

Your honest reply to my review made me go back and whilst I haven't change the score, I have added that I do think your efforts to remaster the older content is a good effort, and is the main reason I went to the site and joined.

I was actually after some of the older GEMS.

Can't wait to see the new site when it appears. If ever you need someone in wardrobe let me know. Dream come true.

And to answer your reply directly...what about the girls?

The Girls are Beautiful...but I know you already know that.

$2.95 for 410 movies. And you think you should of had more. Any ideas how much more expensive content you should get for $2.95?

Please let's be fair is people only pay $2.95 they can't really complain if they get a couple of scenes they like.

As for Karups, they have very little of the content, we sold to them over 5 years ago and I don't think they have bought recently. 25% of the sites content is exclusive to us, so 100 movies.

Thanks for your comments, but maybe you would like to tell us how many scenes, what quality and how good you would like them for $2.95.

Thanks for the feed back on the site. Interesting to know what people think.

The old content is destined for the new Astral Blue site we plan to open this month. Yes the quality of the image is not as high as todays HD cameras. And the action is sometimes softer, but what about the girls?

Still in the planning stages at the moment and I'm sounding out people here. The new scenes will very likely have a DVD download option. Just give me a few weeks to build up the files. When they are ready I will be announcing it on the site.

Hi Bigalaz, just had another one of my blinding observations. If you have stayed long enough to see the same scenes coming back and pissed off enough to complain rather than leave and go to a new site and get all new scenes. You must really love what Paul does. Otherwise you would just move on. Bigalaz loves this site so much he's stayed three months and upset he can't stay longer.

Can't recommend a site higher than that.

The site is not made for 3 day trial members, not with a 3 month rotation plan. So please change that and make it spot on right.

Also I have just thought to myself. How many members stay 4 months on any sites? Are most sites 50 to 100 videos then trying to sell us another site because we stay 6 months or 2 months, on average. Not what you and me do it's what the average is. I know for a fact on lots of sites I stay 1-2 months max. It's only on a very few I stay longer than 3 months. I just get bored with a site and move on to pastures green. LOL

Also members who want to do a 3 day trial and want to download everything in 3 days. What's the point of them putting up sites with 400 videos if we download them on a trial join?

You can feel whatever you want to feel daveboy, but that doesn't make it correct, similar to your very first response. As a member of any site I have certain expectations, and one of those is that updates should be new content, not old updates taken off the site and put back on labeled new. The amount of content Paul has is definitely a lot, so until I started seeing the stuff a second time I had no complaints. I will, however, say that my comment about it just being for the trial member is indeed not accurate considering the rotation schedule, so let me rephrase it:

This site is made for both the trial member, and one who wishes to stay monthly for about 3-4 months. At that point content will begin to rotate and you can then decide for yourself if you want to continue being a member, or if most of the content being released is material you have already downloaded from the site earlier.

No you said the site was only worth three days and that is wrong. My response was after over two months I had not seen scenes I had seen before. After two months I had not even seen all the scenes on the site, rotated or not.

Reading Paul's reply, wish more webmasters would get involved here, he points out that the rotation is over three months. So 3 days or 3 months?

He also points out that he's adding new content every week. 400 videos, he's shooting new content all the time and he's rotating content most of us have not seen. Maybe you are right and he should stop rotating the content. so what should he do, put 1000 on the site for the same price or open another site that members have to pay for again? If you want twice as many for the same price then think about all the sites you joined who gave you 40 to 100 videos for $30. Or sites that were filled with scenes shot to a menu, where 1000 scenes were really 100 because they repeated the same thing time after time. The sites that give us members under 100 scenes or repeat the same scene over and over again are so many I'm not going to complain about Paul's site. He's doing a great job and even though some of the scenes I did not like there are many there I love.

There are sites better than Paul's. Sapphic, Alsscan and the DDF sites. But there are 1000s worse. Don't tell people it's only worth three days when it's worth three months and as you said you have belonged. I feel you just want twice as much for the same price.

I have some scenes of yours I love watching and seeing them on my TV on big screen with the sound going through the speakers would be awesome. Can members list the scenes they want to see or will they all be available? Yes thinking about it the favourite scenes would be great on DVD and I would be happy to get them. Would we have to pay more for them?

I never said the site sucked, I even said some of the content is good, which I stand by. My only point was that content rotation needs to go, because after being a member for a while I was basically seeing the same thing over again. That was my point, which was reinforced by the webmaster. Your response was that content doesn't rotate, which it does.

Thanks for replying Bigalaz1, sorry if I mistook what you said. I did get the impression you were saying the site was only worth joining for 3 days and it surprised me. A site with 410 videos adding and rotating 4-5 a day is only worth $3. What do you want for $30?

Yes I went the route of adding and rotating and frankly financially I think for us it was the wrong move. For members I still think it's excellent value. Let me explain why some sites go other routes.

With 900 videos we could of split it into 5 sites of 180 and sent traffic to each one of the sites and from the sites sold memberships to the other 4 sites. This would of made us more money and 180 videos for $30 is not such a bad deal. 16 cents a scene. Yes there are better deals and there are worse. Most sites choose to give members less and sell them to other sites they own.

We chose not to go the exclusive route in the belief that this will lead to a site of 1/10 of the size and if you have seen some of the scenes many members have not. Scenes that you have not seen some other members have seen. Swings and roundabouts.

Do we add new content?

Yes, last year we shot 100 new videos never seen by anyone. They went on the site before anyone else had them. Today I have two editors converting scenes as fast as they can. Should be up to 5 never seen before videos scenes a week. We will add 300 new videos this year.

Yes I got the wrong impression you thought all this was only worth $3. My mistake.

As for your login on the site and my own forum, it's so close to the one you use here it was easy to find. I checked the email you use and came up with the same info. Sorry if I got it wrong.
