A bit of a mix-up!

Things must have changed at Bang Bros. Contrary to what's written above, to join costs $ 14.95 a month, however, after that, monthly renewal is at $ 24.95 US. If you hit the Join now button on the top right of the page you will be taken to another page that will list the subscription price for one month. Please be aware that you will not renew at this price. The renewal is, as mentioned above, $ 24.95. It's in the fine print below the red sign on button near the bottom.

Bang Bros won't stop trying to improve their site long enough for my comments to be still valid.

Not that I'm complaining. They seem to have completed their move to a completely new format, maybe the one I had seen several months ago was a beta version?

The new format is even more of an improvement. Now when you click on a scene every single option is right there on that scene's page. There's no need to click to go to pictures or screencaps, it's all together. Maybe they have a programmer who is as OCDC as I am and decided to make everything neatly laid out. You can from the scene's page, download the full scene in different formats, these do vary some from scene to scene but the general formats are high (WMV), medium (MP4), small (MP4) and Mobile. The newer scenes add an HD option as well.

These are all accessed from a drop-down menu when you click download. Over from the movie download link is a pictures drop down box that lets you either view or download the pictures and screencaps.

Now leave it alone lol! It's perfect like Rebecca Linares butt.

Also I know it has been asked if they still have the 30 or more parts for individual download, the answer is yes, but you have to click on "chapters" to get to those.

They also now offer an add-on package. This is similar to Videobox having the "channels". This add-on they offer includes these sites, Dancing Bear, College Rules, My GF and CFNM Show. These sites do pretty good as standalone sites, but you can now add them into your membership for $24.95. I don't know any other way to get those 4 sites for this price, but it does look a really good deal if you are interested in those sites.

Download Options

I've noticed all the current reviews still make notice that there are so many options to watch/download the videos which I like. I did see on a recent review that you can still download in parts.

Question: Do they also still have the 1-minute downloads (where there are like 40 1-minute clips) or do you only have the option of 4 separate parts to a scene? I haven't been a member in over a year and loved the option to just download a 1-minute clip that was a few mbs instead of downloading Part 3 that was 100mb, etc.

Outragously dishonest HD

I am normally a HD whore and download the highest quality versions of all scenes that I can get my hands on. This is usually simple, when a scene is marked HD it is, if not HD source, at least high quality. At BangBros, however, I am dumbfounded by the dishonest use of HD labeling.

Every scene in the network has a download labeled HD. While technically they are HD videos being 1280 x 720 or 1024 x 768 @ 3 MBPS the reality is very, very different. For all of the older scenes that were not filmed in HD or no HD source is available they have just taken the god awful 320 x 240 WMV files and re-encoded them to h264 HD resolution. As anyone who knows anything about video encoding will tell you, you put garbage in, you get garbage out. So what does this mean? Well, not only does the HD video look awful, but some scenes are up to 2GB in size! The "HD" video looks no better than downloading the WMV, which is 10 times smaller by the way, and watching it full screen which looks so bad it makes my eyes bleed. To make matters EVEN worse, there is no way of knowing what videos truly are HD and which videos are these hack job re-encodes.

Bottom line:
WMV SD - 200 MB - Looks awful
MP4 HD - 1300 MB - Looks even worse, wasted 1100 MB bandwidth.

I have seen dishonest practices but this really does take the piss. I have lost confidence in them as I cant download the scenes with confidence that the quality will be good without wasting massive amounts of bandwidth. With other networks like Porn Pros, Brazzers or Naughty America producing similar content without the HD lie I wont be keeping a membership here and I urge anyone that cares about quality to think twice before joining. I used to like BangBros, this is such a huge disappointment :(

More sites that I hadn't seen, updated design

At first, I wasn't too happy with the new design at Bang Bros. It worked really good, makes the site less cluttered, but the screenshot sips and part of the photo zips were not downloading. In their defense, they did have a note up that they knew everything wasn't working right and it would be fixed shortly. It was fixed within 24 hours. So now, they have really improved the functionality of their site.

The other good news, may just be for me, the model some of us know as Abella Anderson, one of the few models I have recommended to other members on here, once had a solo site called Living with Anna.

I don't know when Bang Bros added it to their network, it is just an archive site now, but this is some really great content of her with some of it coming before her implants. The amount of content of her on it isn't that great, but the totals are: 35 videos, 35 photo sets, 35 screenshot zips.

Up until now I had only been able to find 1-2 scenes of her on different sites and only had a total of 18 scenes, so this site being thrown in to the Bangbros Network, added a big boost for me since it nearly doubled my entire collection of her content.

A few other sites I hadn't seen on here before. Ava Spice. This is a tiny site with only 5 videos, 5 photo sets, 5 screencap sets, but this is yet another site where it looks like Bang Bros adds these no longer updating solo sites to their network as a nice little bonus.

Also there is a Bang Bros Remastered site that has 15-20 remastered sets from the early days of the Bang Bus.

I had first noticed Bang Bros doing this adding of sites that had gone out of business when they added the archived content from The Penny Show. Considering they are still adding new updates to their regular sites and with the much improved navigation in the new site design, it's still easily recommended and even more so if you like finding content like the Living With Anna content.

Unable to log-in despite typing correctly both US & PW time and again.

Today i tried to log-in and i couldn't. Then, i went on to retype both my US & PW -having checked previously if they were right and if my subcription was still active, which it was- countless times. Afterwards, i proceeded to write an email to custome service. Well, they provided me with new US's and PW's to no avail. I still can't enter the site.

Currency issues

The following happens, when i try to join Bangbros from a european country (i would bet similar will occur for any country with non US-Dollar currency too):

- Bangbros tells me the price for monthly membership: 24.95 USD
- After hitting the button to proceed, i am directed to the Epoch site for credit card information, which is showing me the price for monthly membership now in my local currency (Euro): 27.47 EUR

As of todays exchange rate, 27.47 EUR equals to 36.30 USD. This is 11.35 USD more than what Bangbros listed me as the price in the first place.

I wonder who will receive this extra 11.35 USD, Bangbros or Epoch? Needless to say, that this currency trickery doesn't really support their otherwise good reputation. Other sites/billers go well by just charging USD or whatever their currency is, leaving the exchange to be appropriately done by the credit card company (Visa, Mastercard etc).

Contacting both Bangbros and Epoch support by email (1 month ago) at least gave me one reply from Bangbros to join by the reduced rate, which is also available through this site (and which seems to convert to Euro more accurate). Epoch didn't reply up to today.

I've been subscribing to Bangbros.com for five years now. I really got off to the last fifty pages of the site but it seemed as time went on, the women kept getting more fake. I can deal with the fake boobs, but fake asses?, stretched skin?, and extreme wide-angle lenses? Come on. I'll go on record to say that the last fifty pages of women on this site turned me on back then but they need to get some different niches.

Rip Off

Long story short I bought a subscription to Bangbros Monday night, after the website wouldnt let me log in, I contacted their customer support. What a joke. They never got back to me, after 24 hours I still couldnt log in and they never got back to me.

Thankfully epoch reversed the transaction, but beware.

I am a member of such adult websites as Brazzers, Naughty America and Videobox and I have NEVER had any problems with them. I will never join bangbros again after this. They may have some nice content, but the lack of HD downloads and shitty customer service makes this one website you should totally avoid at all costs.

After a few month the hd-downloadoption now back. But the downlods stops between a few seconds to 99% compleet. Just two complete downloads in two days constant trying. Tryed diffrent browsers. No problem with other sites.

V.poor customer service

Don't get me wrong the content of this site is good and regular updates, however despite it 'splashing' 1080p videos over the front page to lure new members, it infact only has 780p approx (not 1080p).This is with a monthly membership. I have heard rumours that if you subscribe for a year you get 1080p, but i do not know if this is true (can anyone confirm please?).
So firstly there is the false advertising.
Secondly downloads for the streaming are for the most part very slow, for the largest 780p videos. Can be 'ok' if v.quiet time.
Thirdly the download options are poor quality versions.
Fourth and lastly I have tried contacting them on a number of issues and each time i have received a 'generic'/non personal reply - almost in reply to something i didn't ask.
oh and this is definately last thing, but last weekdend they had server probs, and couldn't log in. This was case for whole weekend. There was no appology email/explanation email and i'm guessing we will not receive our fraction of the membership back/or added on. SO IN CONCLUSION, YOU ARE DEALING WITH A COMPANY WHO ARE TOO BIG, and i personally would not recommend.

Just signed up and realized none of the latest updates have HD vids available for download. Also there are very limited download options with these vids (either Mobile or WMV). Tried downloading one of the large vids for the fuck of it and it took over an hour. I have one of the fastest connections on the planet and dl's from other sites take a good 5 minutes max. Something's up here. I'm cancelling my membership immediately.

Contacted Epoch about my dissatisfaction with BangBros and received a full refund.

HD Video Options

Does anyone know if BangBros limits the amount of HD downloads? I was able to download HD Vids and now they only show the streaming option available. I can still download the large WMV files, but not the HD versions.

It was like this was disabled, there isn't even a button available any longer.

Maybe I'm looking into this too much, but had expected to have my Bang Bros account through today. Instead, it expired yesterday morning. Here are the exacts.

Signed up on February 23rd, 2010.
Membership expired on March 23rd, 2010

Normally this would look right, but February only had 28 days in it. I could even go into the exacts of time joined and time expired to show the loss of several days membership.

Signed up at 11:02 PM PST on Feb. 23
Stopped ability to access at 9:30 AM PST on March 23rd

So, a month membership would equal 720 hours
I had 5 full days in February and one 1 hour day 5x24+1= 121
In March I had 22 full days and one 9 hour day 22x24+9= 537

537+121 = 658

Going by that, I was shorted 62 hours or a little over 2.5 days. Didn't irk me enough to stop me from re-joining almost instantly, but I had this problem one time before with another site. I don't know if it is the site or the billing processor to blame, but 2.5 days is 2.5 days.

Word of warning about additional charges

At first glance it seems well worth the $17.95 charge for one month. When browsing the home page of the website there is a giant banner in the center with live cams referring to themselves as bangbros.com/chat. DO NOT CLICK to go to the site. After clicking I instantly received an email thanking me for my purchase and telling me there would be no charge at this time. I hadn't even realized I clicked on a charging additional site until I received another email receipt for $40 the next day.

The following day I received another $5 charge for bangbros.com/clips which I wasn't even aware I had visited. Neither of these additional charges ever asked for validation, my credit card information, my personal information, etc. They simply just charged my credit card. After having contacted Epoch, their billing service, I was told this is in their terms of service. I had Epoch block my card from all future transactions through them so hopefully I won't receive any of these aditional unapproved charges. I have no problem with them charging for various parts of their website, but they should really ask for confirmation instead of just charging their already paying customers.

New Sites Added

Bang Bros added two new latina niche sites in Latina Rampage and My Life In Brazil. So far the scenes from these have been top notch (and new male talent if you are annoyed by any of the other guys on the networks). It seems the guys at BB work on a niche site for a year or two, abandon it and then open up a new niche site, although some sites have remained constant and updated for a decade (Bang Bus, Ass Parade, Big Tits Round Asses, etc.).

Finally glad to see a latina only site though. Ball Honeys was a mix of black, asian and hispanic. They had a black only niche in Newbie Black that recnetly stopped updating. I'd say half of the girls in all their videos are latinas anyway, probably due to being in Miami, but good to concentrate a storyline on just that.

A few notes before re-review

I joined Bang Bros Network last week for the first time in several years and wanted to put a few notes that could get lost in the review when I post it next week.

The TBP site facts has a daily download limit of 500 MB on each site in the network. I'm not seeing it so far. I do similar to how Khan recommended, making a temporary type folder and downloading into it to follow how much I've downloaded. I've only downloaded from 3 of their sites so far, Tugjobs, Ass Parade and my favorite in the network Ball Honeys. I've had these folders over a 24 hour period, 2-2.5 GB from each of those sites, for 6-7.5 GB total in a day.

I don't know if this could have to do with the fact that I'm using the "new" version of their website, like their friends over at Reality Kings, they have an old version of their site still available and a new one. I thought this was worth a mention since 500 MB would be very low as some of the videos are in excess of 500 MB.

Also seeing a better bitrate from what I remembered. The information from VLC is saying in the 3000-3500 bitrate range, way up from the ones I remembered that were in the 1000 range. Though, I will be the first to admit that the videos look to need improvement in the quality despite being 640 high end with 3000 bitrate. I have videos from Videobox and Reality Kings with nearly identical technical specs that look superior to the Bang Bros videos in terms of clarity.

Still, I've enjoyed the content so far, similar to how I have enjoyed the Reality Kings content. Maybe not the most original, but some of these sites in the Bang Bros network do seem to at least try to be different. The one where a "regular guy" tries to woo and seduce a porn model, is if nothing else, hilarious. One of the models asks the guy, "Do you have an inny...down there?" Of course, he whips out a 12 incher and makes her scream bloody murder, but it sure beats, "Oh hello Mr. Plumber...are you here to fix my pipes?" The models are also as impressive as ever. Ball Honeys is the Baskin Robbins of porn, white, black, Hispanic, Asian, mixed or as Sanchez jokes in an older video "Neapolitan". Will edit if or when I hit a download limit.

Price is false marketing

When entering the Join-page on Bang Bros it says the price is on a discount of $17.95 which seemed like a nice price to join the site, but when it came to entering credit card details and such, suddenly the price was almost the double. In my currency, Swedish Crowns, the price converted into USD was more than $30 for a site that was supposed to cost $17, how can this not count as false marketing? If i had joined without looking carefully they would have earned the price of two memberships for one, and i can't really see that this is fair, in my opinion it's fraud unless they're straight up with the price from the beginning and it just can't go on like this.

Stream recent scenes at up to 1280x768

They've had a public beta site for a couple months. I just noticed that, while it offers downloads at 720x406 or 640x480 only (depending on the aspect ratio), recent clips available as streaming only are at higher resolutions: 1280x768 3000kbps.

The caveat is they are doing a browser resize to around 960x560 for the highest 1280x768 resolution (they call it "Madman" resolution "for you quality whores"). On the other hand, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to download those HD streams.

Beta site has been running for a couple months. Members' home page says they are still offering the old members area "for the stubborn people" only. I didn't see the HD streams in the old members' area.

They seem to have HD streaming versions for all clips since January 2009 so that's around 400 scenes. It's weird that they don't push this HD option anywhere on the site or the free tour.

Finally Updating Members Area

Looks like Bang Bros is finally updating their members area -- hopefully to get rid of all the glitches. When you log in, you are given two options: 1) go to the current format of the members area or 2) go to the beta version of the new members area. Looks like they're testing it out before they make the change permanent. I like the new one although it still needs work. When you click on a scene now, there's a "recommended similar scenes" on a sidebar but this doesn't seem to change with the scene yet. Also an advanced model search option (options to find models with certain tit, ass, ethnicity, etc. or a combination of different options).

That said, it looks like they also are getting rid of the Add Favorites feature to favorite a scene, but that feature never worked for me so it's not a loss.

This is one glitchy damned site!

I happened on a deal being offered to join this site at $9.95/month, had never joined before, thought it was worth a try. I doubt that I'll be staying longer than the one month. The first vid I tried to download, when I tried to download it from the main "download vid" link, the site told me that I had a trial membership and would need to upgrade in order to download it. I looked at my confirmation, which said nothing about a trial membership. So I clicked on "play video" and a different link to download was there, so I tried downloading from there and that worked. Today I tried downloading an Amy Reid vid. It had no download option from the "play video" where I had downloaded the other video yesterday, but it downloaded from the main "download video" link - I love Amy Reid and looked forward to enjoying her awesome bod. I clicked play and the vid that downloaded from the link to the Amy Reid video was an entirely different video with some mediocre babe and no Amy Reid in sight - Baaaahhh!!

I was a member 1-2 years ago and a big CON for me was usage of condoms in more than half of the scenes.

Annoying guy

The guy with the camera or his flunky, talk too much. His nose is clogged and his comments are lame. The download speed is not very fast. The video quality sucks. The search engine sucks. I don't understand why that site gets an 88 % rating

Which are updating and which aren't.

I know as a fact that Bang Bros has about 30 sites directly attached to their name, and a few of the older sites no longer do updates, but the content is still there for anyone who wants to see it. But does anyone know which sites are no longer updating at all?

The few I know right off are:
Spring Break Spy Cam
Street Ranger
Working Latinas - not as often
Public Invasion
Mr Camel Toe
...are there any more?

ALSO, does anyone know if the admin/owner will add a Newbie Black to add a review on it?

Price in euro's is more than in dollars..????

Is it normal that the price to join bangbros in euro's(26,46) is higher than in us dollars(23,95)

I'v send an e-mail to epoch(their billingcompany)i received an e-mail back from them with the message that i must contact bangbros.So i send one to them i am stil waiting for an answer from them its now 2 or 3 weeks.

Are there more people with this problem.

Membership Problems

Anybody have membership issues like me???

I purchased a trial membership, but then I found out I wasn't able to see any video, only pics. But then Bangbros billed me for a full-access membership, so I think I've got access to everything.

Cool, right? No.

Thinking I have full access (which I didn't even request, or pay for on my own) I tried to check out the "Meet Serena" Facial Fest episode. When I clicked for the movie, it told me that movies aren't available for trial members. Trial members? I was billed for full access. WTF?

Time and time again, the Bangbros network is disappointing me. Sure, they have some good content, but what good is it if I can't even look at it? On top of that they're nickel-and-diming me for things I can't get. Arrrgggh.

Bang Bros Discount is Discontinued

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to stop by and make a quick announcement. We have had some confusion on the Bang Bros Discount that we were offering. That discount was discontinued back at the beginning of April 2008. We just had to too many technical issues with the implementation of the discount.

The only reason I mention it is that we still have some users reading older comments and thinking that the discount is still active. I appologize for any confusion.

The TBP discount May Be A Problem

TBP offers a special price of $14.95 per month for BangBros Network but I'm having difficulty getting BangBros' billing service to accept that price. I sent an email to Khan so he can address the issue. If you were planning to sign up for BangBros in the next day or two, you may want to wait a bit to see what happens with the discount.

Speed

I am on an extremely fast connection right now, and Bang Bros is bringing in about 18 MBit/s. This seems to be sub par compared to most sites. VideoBox has been giving me more than 60 MBit/s today, and fairly consistently.

The speed here needs to be better. For most people with smaller cable connections or low end DSL this should not be a problem. But for those lucky bastards with high end connections, 15 MBit and up might not like this as much. This testing was early afternoon though, I did not get a chance to test in the evening when more people would be on.

This did not seem to matter how many connections were open. I had 4 connections open and I had up to 18 connections open with them, the overall speed was the same. Many sites you can get some extra bandwidth from by open a good number of connections.

No download, no trail, no nothing

WARNING

First there is NO full trial.
Second no matter what you try to download nothing works.
When I tried to download the "allowed" first movie-file the speed was 25Kb and less.
What worked is that this shit-site broke down my browser several times.

And man, if you go for their upgrade to full membership the charge is $39,95 - but when you cancel, they suddenly offer you the whole deal for $19.95.

I been at their pass before - this and OX-Pass - but won't go there again.

Not a full trial

I would like to comment that even though it states above that Bangbrosnetwork has a full trial, it does not. Only the first piece of a video is downloadable with everything else stating that "this video is not available to trial members."

I joined BangBros Network probably 3-4 years ago. Now, for what's got to be the last 6 months, I'm getting weekly emails to rejoin their site and/or get deals to other sites. I've clicked their unsubscribe link at least 5 times but the emails keep coming. Considering their seeming lack of concern for THAT, I'm now curious how much of the spam I get hit with is coming from people they sold my email addy to. I'd figure some of the lesser known sites to handle people this way - never expected it from one of the "names".

Just a heads up, folks. If you're concerned about adding to the junk in your inbox, I think this is one to avoid.
