Pros:
+ 2 dollar trial
+ DL Manager friendly
+ Simple and easy to navigate the site
+ Good search functions
+ Quality of hd videos is very good

Cons:
- Not all scenes come with a pic set
- Most Pics are good at best
- No new Hd update in a while (July 2010)
- Limited download options

Bottom Line:
First let me state this review is based on the 3 day full trial subscription that i have with the site.

One thing that impressed me with this site is its easiness to navigate and good search function. Layout and advance search was defiantly a plus. The site contains over 500 hd videos which were of pretty good quality. Unfortunately the last hd video to be updated was in July 2010. The norm for video updates seem to be about 4-6 videos added each week (none of which are hd ). Download options are very limited. There are usually 3 or 4 downloading options per video which are High, Low, Med (WMV) and a portable format(MP4). I only downloaded 1 non hd video but stopped after that because the drop of quality from there hd to non-hd was to great.Videos have 2 streaming options per video, high and low both which worked well and played smoothly.

Picture sets are large (over 200) but the quality varies. Some have okay quality while others have bad. Of the few i downloaded i wouldn't say any were of great or good quality. Site is DL manager friendly. You can pause and resume and there are no time outs. They have a favorite section where you can add your favorite scenes which works well, however i did find some scenes that i really don't remember adding on my favorite list on more than one occasion.

One thing that i really didn't get was there "other sites". It was just like using the search functions but with having to type in a username and password to use it. I would hardly classify these as "other sites." Had exact same content and exact same layouts.

This site is diffidently worth the 2.00 dollar trial but i don't think i will ever pay the 14.95 monthly membership for this site. I Think i downloaded all the scenes that i want and no new hd since 2010, shaking my head in disappointment.

Pros:
+Associated HQ images with every movie, also available in ZIP downloads
+High and Low quality flash streams as well as High and Med and Low windows media downloads for all movies (although the very old additions are lacking such options, having only flash streaming)
+Pornstar directory with headshots
+HQ videos are 480p, no substandard resolutions here
+Video directory maintains date tags beneath each update
+Some nice bonus feeds through msquredfeeds (dot com)
+Good download speeds
+Updates tagged with genres (genres which can be browsed by the menu on the side of the page)
+iPod downloads for newer updates
+If the girl featured in the update has other available updates they will be listed at the bottom of the page (otherwise you just get a random list)

Cons:
-The windows media downloads are DRM protected. Yes, the DRM is like the VideosZ DRM, in that they removed it but didn't (i.e. unlimited license with no login), but it still makes them playable only in WMP
-You get a bunch of network sites, all of which require a secondary login, but they all host the same movies on the main network page
-Pornstar directory not delineated by letter, all letters together on 19 pages
-All non-exclusive content. Movies are ripped from DVDs you might find on VideoBox/VideosZ. Moreover, the downloads are not named with the movie title, they are just generically named.
-Watermarked videos and images
-Too many mouse clicks for streaming - click movie page, click hi/lo, click OK, click play
-Video directory only 12 updates per page (see BL)
-Future updates page is blank
-Silent tranny updates (see BL)
-Terrible update schedule, and updates only on weekdays (see BL)
-No site search

Bottom Line:
An awful site. Yeah it is better than the majority of porn sites out there, but considering the sites that ClubRedlight is competing against (NaughtyAmerica, Brazzers, etc.), the site is a damn shame.

How do I know they are competing?
1) price - $25/mo
2) video titles - they dont label videos with the DVDs they are actually from, just giving them generic names
3) layout
4) network setup with appealing names for the network sites

If trying to compete with the big boys, you better have an excellent site. If you don't have a good site (which is the case here) then there better be some compelling reasons to join, like cheap membership rate (strike), highly exclusive content (strike) tons of download options (strike), super site search (strike). There better be some key things that the site must avoid, like DRM or relics of DRM (strike) and watermarks (strike).
And by strike I mean, swing and a miss, you did it wrong. Six strikes, that's two outs. There are a few more strikes that I can find to make it three...haha.

They do so much wrong while trying to compete with the big boys, namely the fact that its all non-exclusive content the majority of which can be found on VideoBox, that it makes the site a must-miss.

"See BL" comments:
*Every better network site I visit I get video directories with like 20, 25, or more updates per page. ClubRedLight puts 12 in 2 columns of 6. It makes for a longer and thinner page. It is also worth noting that the thumbs they use in the directory are huge, taking up valuable space that could be used to list more udpates. So there are 2,145 updates (as of Feb 27, 2009), 12 per page makes it 179 pages. If they went to 20 per page there would only be 108 pages, 30 would be at 72, 40 would be at 54, and 50 would be at 43. Basically, by using 12 they are putting themselves in the class of sites which use smaller numbers to make their archives look larger than they actually are.
*Silent tranny updates...what I mean by this is that they just add updates without proper description. The Feb 27, 2009 update is titled: "Karina is a tricky little slut" and the picture looks like a guy with a girl doggy style, but it is a tranny update. I can understand if there is a tranny network site, but I can't seem to find a particular one dedicated to tranny. There are only 22 tranny vids, so its not overkill, but today's update was a reminder that there are tranny vids on the site.
*The update schedule is the pits. 287 updates added between Feb 27, 2008 and Feb 27, 2009, for an average of a little under 0.8 updates per day. For $25/mo you should just stick with the big boys that offer 2 or more updates per DAY (NA/RK/Braz/etc.). Also worth noting that as of recent they don't even update on weekends...wow.

Pros:
Good selection of videos (for streaming)
Very good video quality (although not the best)
Great selection of niches (for my taste)
Reasonable price (for a streaming site)
Pretty good navigation
Streaming is the best I've seen

Cons:
DRM, DRM and more DRM
Most videos are not downloadable, but if they are DRM protected, what good is downloading anyway unless you intend on joining for an extended period?

Bottom Line:
OK, I'm not a fan of streaming sites and most I will NOT join. I joined this one after reading reviews and the streaming and DRM were the only negatives I could find. I thought, what the heck, I'll join for a month.
RLD's streaming is the best I've ever used. It loads quickly and allows you to jump up in a scene without some long buffering delay. You can go straight to the money shot if you want.
I know the DRM is a huge drawback (like Manuel Ferreira's foreskin) but if you are into streaming, you should give it a try.

Follow-Up:
I am editing my review because I rejoined and the DRM does not prevent you from replaying the videos or copying them to disc. They still use the DRM to prevent pirating, but not to prevent the members from watching them at a later time, even when they are no longer members.
The content is terrific. Many of the vids are not yet available in download, just stream, but they are increasing it from what I can tell from my previous membership. Now, please, how about a discount for TBP users??

Pros:
- Very large archive of movies.
- Searching for movies or pornstars is very straightforward.
- Trial offers full access to the site. (3 days for $4.95)
- Picture sets available for most movies. I think they are the same photo galleries available on the DVDs.

Cons:
- Buyer Beware 1: ALL MOVIES HAVE DRM!
- Buyer Beware 2: Most movies are available only in streaming flv format. Even at "full-screen" these streaming vids are of mediocre quality.
- Very limited number of movies are available for download & have DRM.
- Normal monthly price is very high for primarily streaming-only content.
- Navigation is not user-friendly.
- Photo galleries have no zip option and only show 8 thumbnails at a time. Lots of clicking "Next."
- "Bonus sites" are really ads.

Bottom Line:
I really enjoy Red Light District movies. I thought that I would enjoy the site, too. The tour clearly states "Download Our Entire Archive!!!" However, the vast majority of the archive, particularly newest and oldest DVDs are only available as streaming videos. Additionally, the DVDs that are available for download are loaded with DRM. Unfortunately, the terms of service are so convoluted that I couldn't find a reference to DRM, even though I scanned through the entire ToS.

DRM alone is a deal-breaker. Combine that with the fact that most of the scenes are streaming only and I wouldn't have joined the site. On top of that, add false advertising claiming that you can download the entire archive of DVDs and I just had to keep dropping the score. 56 instead of 50 is because of the number of DVDs available for viewing.

I joined this site because of the full trial option and to see what movies were available online. I'm glad that I only wasted $5 instead of $30 for a full month's membership. This site should be avoided at all costs!

Pros:
- Quality video is very good
- Various gonzo porn

Cons:
- Only one more movie a day... when it works. Sometimes there is no update during one or two weeks...
- After one month, movies are archived and not accessible
- Download is impossible
Must I continue or you have already understood?

Bottom Line:
Obviously it doesn't work. Go away! A lot of officials movies makers sites are better!
it's a pity because Club Red Light makes very good gonzo.
