I agree completely that Sex and Submission is really different from Fucking Machines in that it si so much easier for the directors to keep S+S fresh and interesting. The Sasha Grey scene and the Kat scene are still among my all-time favourite porn scenes.

Like you, I look for email discounts, but I think the site (and all Kink sites) are worth the $30 per month. The production values are much higher than most other sites.

Nice review, slategrey! Only one difference of opinion: I liked the "post" action interviews but despised the "pre."

I deleted every video that had a "before interview" because it ruined the fantasy. Same as I've come across some "father-daughter" videos on VB where both models made it very clear right from the start: "I am in no way related to my co-star and this is a play only!" Duh, I would have never guessed, seeing that incest is illegal!

I agree that it would have been better to make a cut between the interview and the actual scene. I wonder why they didn't do that.
They normally do that for their other shoots. Maybe because it was Amy Brooke and she's already shot so many videos for them that it's hard for the viewers to believe any scenario reagrdless.

and enough. I watched one scene yesterday called "The Shoplifter" where they first had the talk, then led the model giggling into the "store" where she confessed this should be interesting because she had never shoplifted before. Then she gets the question are you ready and suddenly you are into the scene with her trying out clothes with the show owner watching suspiciously. Who can take a scene like that seriously? Start with the store and shoplifting without a comment and then have the director/producer and model talk about the experience after the shoot is over.

I agree that Kink.com is women friendly and that everything is based on mutual co-operation and satisfaction. I subscribed to "Facial Abuse" at one time and couldn't watch most of the videos because they were too misogynistic.

There are people who love a certain roughness to their sex and here, at Kink, they are able to act out their dominant or submissive fantasies. If I ever thought that anything was done against a model's will I would stop subscribing to any Kink's site. I like the post-scene interviews as well because I can see the enthusiasm on the model's face (and it doesn't appear to be forced to me) and this confirms that I can watch the BDSM play with a clear conscience.

The logic of having the model do a pre-interview is amazing because no one can claim that she was forced to do something that she didn't know prior to the shoot. We all know that Kink has a huge list of questions that all the models must fill out and sign prior to the shoot but someone can always claim that she hadn't filled out that questionaire but it's hard to say that about a video.

It sometimes interesting to hear what a performer says prior to the shoot and what she says afterwards. The type of porn that Kink does is rather different than what most performers are used to so not every performer knows all that they'll experience during the shoot.
Kink loves to push a performers boundaries and I think nothing makes them happier than to get a performer to orgasm as much as she can.

I agree with you. Most times I skip those. My guess is that the reason for these interviews is 75% law and 25% because Kink does try to be a better network than most. They seem really woman-friendly and want to promote that. I know the average woman would think I was insane for saying that, but it really is woman-friendly. These site are all about showing women with certain fetishes getting off on those fetishes. I do like some of the post-scene interviews where the model sits there and talks about what she liked about the scene. That could suffice for compliance I suspect.

Other BDSM sites don't use the interview as much, if at all. Society SM comes to mind.

One thing that bugs me ...

I understand the reasoning behind it, it is meant to re-assure tender souls (and the law?) that the submission is not only willing but actually anticipated but to see a model gush how much she looks forward to the "abuse" makes the whole rough "play" unbelievable right from the start. The post-action interview is fine. This habit of a pre-action talk with the model is common to many Kink.com sites and I, for one wish they would do away with it. I don't think it will happen anytime soon and It doesn't make good business sense for them to offer all the sites in a network.
Kink is possibly the top BSDM company at the moment and they have some of the best content on the net. For them to keep offering such good content means that they have to pay talent and that cost money.

Your idea of a token system that allows you to download certain scenes from each site is not a bad idea but again it would mean less money for them then if you have to join each site on it's own. At the moment they offer streaming and download to won but I don't think the cost is worth it.

Someone has already said that once you join one site then you automatically get reduce price for the others and they even offer a two for one deal where you get 2 months for the price of one.

I've joined at least 4 of their sites and I've never been disapointed with any of them. If you like their content then you should want to pay for it. You money will mean more content and that's a good thing.

I'd really love to subscribe but I feel network pass is the standard these days. I wish you guys had one, let it be limited or expensive if that's what it takes.

I could live with a subscription that lets me download only a handful of clips across all kink.com sites weekly. There appears to be so much great material spread across them but then there's also some stuff that's totally "meh" to me, even on my favorite niches.

Since you have so much genre overlapping stuff on your sites, maybe do what's very unpopular on network pass sites? I mean offering duplicates across the sites where it fits. So if a scene has sex in bondage, have it always on SexAndSubmission. If it has anal, put it on EverythingButt and so on.

I've been very happy with many Kink.com memberships over the years and there was never a DRM problem. Why they are able to sell individual scenes for such high prices always confused me since the memberships include scores of DRM-free scenes of great quality.

Some people just have more money than they know how to spend, I guess. I know a young lady who buys $800 purses (lots of them).

From what I know, the site is DRM free, and they update it about once a week, but they have content from as far back as 2005, so some of it is a little old.

Also, it looks like it costs $10 to $20 per scene, not $30. Still pretty damn high, though.

It looks like a really great sit but i have a few questions. Is there DRM on the site, cause since you can but certin clips i would assume there is DRM on this site. Why would a person buy 1 clip for 29.95 when they could just join the site for the same price and download as much as they want.

Please include a little formatting in your reviews. This one is a little hard to read because you put no spaced between your sentences. I am willing to be understanding if English is not your first language, but a review should be easy to look at and know when one idea ends and another begins without having to read it repeatedly and look for those tiny periods squeezed between words.

I really have no idea what you are trying to say in the bottom line section. Usually we use that for overall opinions about the site or to explain the pros and cons. You can use it for whatever you want though. If you read a view reviews submitted by other members you will understand what I mean.

Enjoyed your review. I've come back to S&S several times since I joined it at the beginning and agree about the improvement. My expectations for higer quality pictures and vids have definitely increased over the years for all sites.

Maybe the effort to show the consentual side of S&S makes it a "lite" site. But it definitely fills a nice niche for those of us who like pretty girls, somewhat red asses, a little bondage, and passionate sex.

Yeah it sounds like a good idea. I think you tend to like the sites I quite like. I'm not sure how much interest there would be here in such a thread. What makes me worried is that RealSpankings has its own forum. One guy that loves spanking argued that the people at Mood must be "scumbag sadists" or something similar, based on the harshness of the spankings. Myself and one other guy were basically saying - look if you love spanking the rest of the world thinks you are a sicko degenerate. I was a member too long ago to write a full review, but I still have the videos I downloaded. There were many top notch attractive women on the site and mostly the sex was creative and interesting. Most, if not all, are recognizable pornstars doing things that you don't see on your average mainstream sites. I feel definitely an acquired taste as this is a BDSM site though. Some scenes are worth rewatching just to see the chemistry among the participants. It had a real enough feel to the sex and sometimes there is even a story. This site has some things missing in many mainstream porn videos. My only criticism is that you get just the one site, even though there are others in kink.com that you have to pay for separately at full membership price. They should have the other sites included or at least give you a break on the price if you join more than one site.

I think Kink.com is putting the "I did this intense stuff consentually and enjoyed it" disclaimers as a way of protecting themselves legally. It would at least be more difficult for a jury to find them guilty of brutality or whatever charges some DA wanted to bring against them if they saw that, in the end, the performers were hugging and smiling.

Login system has been revamped for all kink.com sites including SexAndSubmission. It was one of the worst in the industry, now it's one of the best (with ability to see all the sites you're subscribed with them together and almost never-expiring sessions). As it was one of the very few complaints about SexAndSubmission, this change has made it significantly better.
