No money in porn

After being blocked for downloading too much in 24 hours even though I set the DM to 550kb/s (should only be 45gb in 24hours), I was told to set this to 500kb/s by their support (41gb per day) to avoid the problem. The strange thing is I was sent rant about how European customers who actually download 24 hours a day cost them money! (European hosting being more expensive)
They only get �3.49 of my �20 after paying commission etc, so there must be no money in porn these days!

Seems Europeans pay without the discount.

I signed up on the 4th of April to this site from here and just checked my statement and it seems I have been charged 19.99 euros not dollars. So yet again been over charged. not happy and won't be joining again, it's not fair why we have to pay more.

Site re-updated with mp4 format videos

They've gone through the site switching from 4mbps wmv files to 4mbps mp4 files.

They're also re-encoding the old videos from the original material, the ones that were previous available at 2mbps wmv or less. They appear to have everything going back to mid-2006 re-encoded and available on the site at 4mbps 720p mp4 format, I'd assume they're going back further as time goes forward.

New download limit

I have just found out today that there is still and download limit on the site that is set at 50 Gb in 24 hours. I hit it today and got locked out and unfortunately lost all of my saved download list because of it downloading an over the limit message for each of the 500+ downloads still scheduled for download on ReGet download manager. Again the site says nothing about this in the contract but they are enforcing...just an FYI!!

Old sets offline.

As I read here, the site has been sold to DDF, and you can see the changes. So this leans a bit towards the other topics posted.

But my "problem" is that the old sets are been taken offline. One specific example.
They used to be on the free internet in 16-20 pic previews where they start to make out, and so are part of a full set.

In this example, it's quite clear that these are pictures from SE, but when member not to be found and taken offline. The question raises: why?

Some say that the pics with the girls wearing a SE-top are only promotional.
But, why is the set below a full set online? If you can make 20 pics, you can make 120.

Some of the reviews on here mention that the sex scenes are passionless or robotic. I looked at the site's preview and some of the girls look like they might be actual lesbians, do you get this feeling at all from within the website? Cross Sells

I just rejoined SE and during the sign up process I was presented with some cross sells. Now do not get your flogging gear out yet. This was a bit unusual for cross sells. They came up as a completely separate page after I typed in all my information so there is no way to miss it. Also, there were three optional trials but non of them were checked.

If a site is going to do cross sells that is the way to do it. They did not try to sneak anything and did not have them prechecked to screw over someone who has all their brains in their pants because they are all excited about joining a new site.

I haven't been a member of Sapphic Erotica in a long while but with the price drop I thought about giving it another try, however it's default biller is through VXSBill and they do not accept Discover Card. However at the bottom of the sign up page it states "CCBill (our E-Ticket supplier and access management provider)" so didn't know if there was some way to sign up through them with CCBill?

Beware: High Def and Mid-Quality Vids May NOT Work for You !

So far Sapphic Erotica has been an enormous disappointment. Not that many fisting videos, really horrible navigation, small single pictures for previews and for me, the high quality downloadable videos don't work.

Sapphic Erotica seems to be using a WMV codec that is not compatible with older Windows Media Player programs. The WMV videos I've downloaded don't work, when played they only provide sound, no picture.

I went to the Support page for the site and it states that you must have Version 10 of Windows Media Player. So make sure you have version 10 or higher before you sign-up or the high quality videos will not work for you.

The previews for the site work fine without version 10 so this took me by surprise. I fear doing the upgrade to Version 10 because I can't risk a configuration problem right now.

Since I can't view the downloadable high quality videos the site is pretty much worthless to me. I requested a refund from Virtual Access Billing (VX Billing) but they refused and would not refund even though I explained the problem.

Beware of 30GB a day limit

As of December 2008, there is a 30GB a day download limit. If you go over, you get automatically banned for a day and then unbanned. I emailed them and told them they didn't mention the download limit anywhere, and they turned my account back on in 10 minutes.

30GB a day is approximately 345 KB/s in Free Download Manager. You can set your download to the "medium mode" setting and limit the download speed. You can't set a download limit for the heavy mode.

The picture zip files seem to be on a different server than the videos and the picture zip files are limited to like 120 KB/s max for each zip file.

The girls are still very lovely though. And at $19.99 a month with the TBP discount, it's totally worth it.

As of December 2008, all the Video content is about 230 gigabytes at the highest resolution available. It takes about 8 days to download all the videos with a constant 345 KB/s connection.

No DRM and 230 gigabytes of videos... I'm not complaining. :)

I found Saphic Erotica when it pretty new and joined immediately. Back then the models spoke english and did not look like pros. HD Resolution videos now being uploaded

Sapphic Erotica is now uploading actual HD videos with a bit rate of 4Mbps. Before they were advertising as high-definition but only providing vids at 960x540 at 2Mbps. I've only downloaded one HD video so far and it is very soft and shaky (possibly because it was outdoors). Hopefully the other videos are sharper and clearer like Only Cuties (I assume this will be this case).

It looks like all video exclusive updates since around March have had a HD option, so there is quite a large choice already. Alongside this, there is a new 852 x 480 resolution available for slower connections.

Changing score, new features

I know that goldfish already told this, but this is to continue his thought. Sapphic Erotica has a new search feature that as far as I can tell works really well. I did get more results than expected when searching for, "Tribbing" which is my favorite lesbian activity to watch. Still, this is and has been the premier lesbian site for as far as I can remember, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. It is always good to see an established site, still working on improving themselves. As a follow up to my last comment on 3/16/08 the new search feature is here! It allows you to search either photos or video by action (anal, fisting, toys, etc.), location (bathroom, kitchen, etc.) or model features.

Connection Limits

Watch the number of connections you use here. The same holds true for InFocusGirls. This site limits the number of connections you can use at a time. They do not kick you off for hitting the limit. They will pause any farther browsing of the site until you fall below the limit number. Also, be careful with download managers here. Refresh the page before starting a download or it can screw up if it has been idle for a while. And, do not pause downloads, mine do not resume!

As of 2/25/2008 SE was in the process of implementing a new search feature. It looks like the content will be broken out into categories and I also see user ratings associated with the models and galleries which I assume will also be used for searching and sorting.

As of today It appears the content has been categorized but I don't see a search screen anywhere. I'm hoping they'll put it up before my membership expires.

I normally join sapphic erotica every year and this year I was looking forward to seeing what movies had been added. I will come back and tell you more soon, I've only joined this morning so can't comment on much yet. Good site, but needs much work done.

The homepage for sapphicerotica tells you what they offer, but there's no tour, no viewable updates, no model index, nothing to persuade you to join! The girls are hot, the lesbo scenes are great, but the site itself needs improvement. They should let you browse the site before you join, so you can see what girls/galleries/movies are offered, how often/what girls the updates are. I know it's specifically a lesbo site, but they could also shoot solo galleries. Even licensed solo stuff would be nice. Most of these girls can be found on other sites doing other stuff (sex, solo, etc).

Great site but..

The newer clips seem much more "acted" and not sensual as the earlier scenes. The scenes tend to be more contrived and set up and not natural. That is one thing they could work on. Try making the girls look like a camera is not focused on them.
