Pros:
- 1,200+ models, most unheard of

- High-rez photos that aren't over-sized
- HD videos
- 10 years of archives to surf through
- 99% of the content is exclusive
- Great download speeds
- Videos transfer to DVD
- No download limit

Cons:
- Mainly "teen" models
- Minimal hardcore (almost no anal found here)
- Not the best deal in town price-wise
- Pictorials are very redundant, 10 pics for the same pose, that kind of thing
- Poor videography (the director, not the quality)
- A lot of unattractive models, some downright homely
- A lot of dirty models (like they don't shower)
- Only 3 or 4 male models for all the hardcore action
- Weekly updates

Bottom Line:
Although this site has of a lot of attractive models, a good majority of them are not, but maybe that's just my opinion. And some of the models are literally filthy, you can see the film of dirt and grime covering them in the high-rez photos, and some of them also didn't wipe too good after their last bowel movement; not to mention the hemorrhoids, genital sores and yeast infections I stumbled upon. Come on, who wants to see that? I know some people do but not the average porn hound like me. I often wondered if they paid a homeless girl a few hundred bucks to spread for the camera, and didn't even have the courtesy to let her shower beforehand. This mostly pertains to their older stuff, the newer content (from 2007 on) is of a much better standard and the models get significantly more attractive. The good content outweighs the bad on this site, I just want you to know what to expect shall you decide to join. I thought this site would be similar to Karups PC, that's why I joined, but they're like night & day. 95% of these models are exclusive to this site and not found on PC, quite frankly because they couldn't "make the cut" in the looks department for their private collection.

All the videos from mid '07 are in HD and the overall quality of them is very good, but the director doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing. This guy has no idea how to film a solo scene and needs to attend the free videography classes at his local community center on tuesday nights, and I also think he suffers from Parkinsons disease for the camera shakes way too much. There's A LOT of ten seconds of what you want to see followed by 2 minutes of her hand in the way, IN EVERY SINGLE VIDEO, extremely aggravating, so much so that I deleted all that I downloaded.

This site is all about that "girl next door" look and they deliver in spades. There's over 1,200 models to browse through so there's PLENTY of content to be found here. There is a minimal amount of hardcore on this site and anal scenes are quite rare and this may be a major con for some. But if you like fresh, new, completely amateur girls you're going to love this place.

Cons:
Models lack variety. I didn't know there was that many blondes in the world. There is a noticeable lack of ethnic diversity.

Older video lack same quality as more recent ones.

Navigation is suspect, very few options

Bottom Line:
Lots of content, but most of the vids really lack direction. The girls seem uninterested and kind of just go through the motions. Hardcore scenes are very vanilla. Same positions, no attempt at chemistry, and camera work could be better. There are many better sites in the genre. I'd recommend any ATK sites, or Brand New Faces first, and a few others that may lack the quantity, but make up for it with originality and quality of models, if not video.

Pros:

Pros:
- All the girls are young and beautiful.
- No breast implants!
- No anal!
- The guys are usually gentle and considerate with the girls, unlike e.g. YoungModels where they are fast, hard, and rough.
- Video .wmv files are named systematically, with the actress' name, unlike some sites where the filename is a meaningless number.
- Nearly all videos are well lit. But see cons!
- All the guys manage to stay hard (or the limp parts are edited out). Here, you'll never have to watch long scenes of an actress sucking on a limp dick to no avail.

Cons:
- Bad support? I emailed pointing one failure of their search engine and suggesting remastering some great early vids at higher resolution, and never received a reply.
- No descriptions, no ratings, no "most viewed" -- you're on your own with >500 videos.
- Same few stunt cocks in nearly all videos. They seem mechanical and bored. Often they skip any oral on the girl, and they are rarely heard to complement the girl on her looks or sexiness or to be romantic or intimate. Their demeanor does not bring out the most erotic side of the girls. It takes a girl who is incredibly horny or really loves sex or has a special personality to shine under these circumstances -- most don't.

Bottom Line:
Very recent files are HD, recent files are medium resolution (640 x 480), and older files are low resolution (360 x 240). However, at full screen I couldn't see much difference between the medium and low resolution -- so I suspect the medium is empty magnification of the low. WMV is the only available format. No problem -- with free Flip4Mac I played them all in Quicktime on OS X. All videos are divided into four scenes of about 7 minutes each. The inability to download a whole video as one file is annoying.

There are tons of still photos. The resolution is OK but not great (700 x 1000 to 1000 x 1500 pixels; file sizes 200 - 600 kilobytes).

The vast majority of the scenes are without condoms. To me, this is very unfortunate, since Jimmy, the guy in 80% of the scenes, has now fucked hundreds of young women without a condom. I gather that market forces demand this (or porn companies think they do?), but how many young people have to get HIV before this stops? On the pro side, in the occasional scenes where a condom is used, they don't try to hide it, occasionally even showing it being rolled on by the girl -- definitely a pro in my book.

Well, I took one for the team and sifted through all 300-some boy/girl videos looking for the occasional gem. Here are my favorites. You can search by the first name of the actress to find these. These are the full filenames, except for the a/b/c/d that divide each video into 4 scenes.

There are some very early, lo-res scenes with what might be real couples (real amateurs?!) that are the hottest on the site, to my taste (see my profile). Of course I prefer crisp videos where you can see the body down, but real intimacy, arousal, and chemistry trump resolution any day in my book. (It would be great if KarupsHA would see fit to re-release these early hot vids in higher resolution!) Examples:

sativa-bg-1: She is incredibly naturally sexy. He and she interact naturally, with affection and intimacy. The KarupsHA camerapeople and stunt cocks could learn from this one. No jerky camera work. - OVERWHELMING amount of content
- Easy navigation, detailed advanced search
- Incredible download speed (at 1.2Mbytes/sec, it probably maxed out my internet connection)
- LOTs of girls (sorry I didn't count them :-), several hundreds at least but could be close to a 1000 (?) )
- I found a big percentage of girls to be very attractive - young, beautiful and no fake tits
- Seems to be 100% exclusive
- Regular updates
- Rating system - cool!
- In general very nice photo quality

Cons:
- Not too much HC stuff (OK, you still get a lot, but not comparable to the amount of softcore content)
- LOT more photosets than videos
- Lots of videos without the option to download the whole movie in one
- Overall not very satisfying video quality
- No way to change your password (?)

Bottom Line:
Alright, so I was just about to subscribe to Karup's PC, when I saw an offer to subscribe to Karup's HA as well. Knowing their reputation (thanks to PU.com ;-) ), and that I really like amateurs, I immediately switched to Karup's HA instead. The price - $30 a month - might be a little bit pricey for some, but nowadays it seems to be a standard, so I won't mention it in a negative light. Especially, that you get a s****t load of content for your money! Download speed is amazing, day or night, it always maxed out my internet connection's capabilities.

I like the design and the structure, easy and fast. You have a model directory where you can see all the available sets and movies with the model; but please, names like "Charlie 2" aren't very 'human'. :-) You get an 'advanced search' function, where you can search by many different things, such as name, photo or video or both, action type, breast size, clothing, fetish, etc. Although it gave me results for 'anal movie' that didn't have any anal in them, but other than this it seemed to work effectively. I found the rating system to be very useful, and also the sections called 'top models' and 'top rated sets'.

As for the content, other than the fact that it's a lot :-), photo quality was up to my satisfaction, in one set you usually get around 110 - 160 pictures, but it might vary. Highest resolution is 1000x1500, which is okay but could be bigger. They're separated in 6 different categories, and lots of the updates are images. Meaning, if you're a 'picture person', you'll love it here. On the other hand video quality is rather poor. There's only one wmv format you can download them in, highest resolution I saw was 640x480, but that's not even my main problem: the picture just isn't sharp, sometimes the lighting seems 'messed up' (too light, too dark), I saw some 'angles' in videos that made me wanna flip my monitor 90 degrees to get it right, audio quality varies, sometimes it's good but sometimes it's just horrible, there were some videos where I saw filming equipment in the background, etc. I personally don't mind the 'chat' at the beginnings. Video length varies from ~9mins to ~25, depending on its kind. Most of them are softcores though. And this is the case with photos and videos too: this site emphasizes softcore material. Also, the main focus is on photos, not really on the movies.

Conclusion: I'd like to see way more hardcore sex, and way more videos in a way better quality. I like (softcore) pictures too for their beauty, but I'm mainly a 'movie lover'. I'd LOVE to see a website like this with the above mentioned focuses. Still, you get lots of nice girls, nice photosets and softcore actions that you can access real fast. Overall it's a great site - but not for the ones like me.

- Some lower quality vids when you start getting to the older content
- Some movies only available as segments -- no full version available
- Seems to be a lot of so-so girls you need to browse through to pick out the gems

Bottom Line:
Karup's Hometown Amateurs is a lot like the Batman movies to me. They never live up to all the hype!

Don't get me wrong, Hometown Amateurs is a good site. There is an insane amount of content so there is something for everybody. The video quality is decent and there are some attractive women and good sex scenes on the site.

On the flip side KHA could use a little work on the navigation so the users can find the movies/girls that are to their liking easier. The video options are also leave more to be desired.

This is a personal preference but I do prefer more hardcore sex on a site. If you're a softcore/amateur guy that won't be a problem!

Bottom Line:
Overall, there is nothing really different between KarupsHA than KarupsPC in terms of technical aspects. Back in the day, yes, there was a distinct difference. KarupsPC was created in 1997 (according to Whois info), while KarupsHA was created in 2001 (again, according to Whois info), so they put more focus on KarupsPC, as it was the household name in the Karups network, at least until KarupsHA gained steam. More updates were given to KarupsPC, better quality, better layout, better organization, etc. But now that they have devoted more effort to KarupsHA you really can not tell the difference between the sites:
-They look the same - you login to both members area and the only major difference is the girls who are plastered around the page (I would love to know who the girls are).
-The videos are the same, same nomenclature, same watermark location, same intro crap, etc.
-The girl naming scheme is the same ("Sarah 1", "Sarah 2", etc.)
-The quality is the same
-The organization is the same (softcore vs hardcore, videos split by type, e.g. toys, ethnic, athletic, etc.)
-The pornstar directory is the same
-etc. etc. etc.

So what is the difference? The difference is the focus. KarupsPC has focus on girls who are from Eastern Europe / Western Russia with a few American girls sprinkled in (they girls are there, just not named with proper names) while KarupsHA focuses more on girls from North America with a few European/Russian girls sprinkled in (again, they are there, just hard to find). So its all about your particular taste: European girls who speak broken English and look you in the eye like they really want you, and are ready for action, or American girls who speak perfect English and look at this as another job. My choice is KarupsHA because there are more girls on the site that I am looking for (I can name at least 5 off the top of my head right now) where as KarupsPC, not so much.

Again, in short, KarupsPC = KarupsHA, except PC focuses more on European/Russian girls while HA focuses more on American girls.

Pros:
- Huge amount of content, both pics and vids.
- Zips for photosets.
- Search engine
- Model rating system, plus section for highest rated models and sets.
- Pics viewable in two sizes.
- Hard and softcore content separated.
- Several updates per week.
- Navigation is good.

Cons:
- High-res pics offered but at 1500x1000 they are still a tad behind some high-end sites.
- Most softcore vids seem to begin with an interview/chat session, which is a negative for me. Would rather have interview sessions separate. This is a minor nit, of course.

Bottom Line:
Karups HA is undoubtedly one of the best sites going, with amount of content vying with just about anyone at this point. To give you an idea of how much material there is here: in the softcore video section alone there are twenty-four vids per page, and there are seventy-one pages. The photo sections are just as impressive.

That aside, the site has all the bells & whistles one might expect at a premium site, which I listed in the cons. The drawing point for me is the photo archive. Though I could be wrong, it looks to me like a few well-known photographers had sets here in the old days: Toby from ATK, and Donovan Philips from DonnysGirls, to name two. If I'm wrong on this I'd be very surprised.

The newest vid I downloaded is 640x480 and shows a bitrate of 2683k. Newest pics come in at 1500x1000, which is nice, but 1600x1200 would be even better. Once again, a minor nit.

This is one of a small handful of sites which I have stayed with for a second month. Even with a fast connection it would take a long time to collect it all, and then you'd be very busy indeed.

Anyone interested in adult media would be remiss not to sign up here at least once. I seriously doubt that many people would find it terribly disappointing.

Karups Hometown Amateurs is a very good site and it seems they have worked hard to improve the navigation and listen to their members. They just announced based on feedback that updates will now contain both photos and movies instead of one or the other. A nice addition.

I wish they would join in and start offering a higher resolution photo size in the high 2000's or even 3000's like some of the other top flight sites are doing these days. Also for videos I would like to see the addition of a high quality flash video as well.

I got my membership for $25 through Paysite Discounts so the value is definitely very good considering the 5 updates a week with over 3000 new photos and about 7 new videos each week. You definitely have lots of different girls to choose from which is a bonus and why I like joining these kind of sites.

Pros:
- Huge collection good looking young women, around 1000 models many posing for first time.
- Updates past 15 months have good quality photos around 1500x900 resolution sharp pictures with no blurring.
- Photos have a natural feel to it with no forced expressions pictures exaggerating the shy and naughty nature of these models.
- Good range of variety of posing (some hardcore) and location in the photo shoots.
- Lots of candid videos of decent quality.

Cons:
- High resolution photos only from 2006. Quality of photos before 2005 not the best.
- More of a photo site. Lots of videos not worth downloading older videos not of good quality.
- A bit too expensive $29 monthly and no really good multimonthly offers.

Bottom Line:
When I was a member back in 2006 this site didn't appeal to me much as the quality of photos and videos were not in par with the times. They used to rely on quantity rather than quality.

The sites have changed for the better recently to such an extend that I feel it is one the best amateur sites in the web quality being even better than the age old similar website Atk galleria. You can make out that the managers of this website have recently become picky choosing very good looking girls and trying to get as many first timers as possible.

This website consists of plenty of softcore pics. Any person with a need for viewing gorgeous models simply posing and teasing the camera will over-indulge here cause of that. The only reason I did not give this site a 100 is because not enough hardcore, and in the harcode categories, it's the same guys doing the same thing. In an amateur site , I expect to see models with their actual boyfriends, more like a amateur couple sex site.

Pros:
- More content than you can view in a month, nearly 1,000 models.
- Video quality is very good, 640 on high end and are downloadable in full scenes.
- Many of these models are amateurs that I have never seen
- Navigation is pretty good at times, frustrating at others, but you get the hang of it.
- Photo quality is above average and available to download in zips
- Price seems high, but the price doesn't seem too bad when you see quanity/quality

Cons:
- The navigation is at times frustrating, especially at first. I found myself clicking the back button too much.
- Not for sure how long this site has been running, but the older content looks like mid-90s based on the colors, just not a lot of interest in those.
- Some of the picture sets just seem to end out of nowhere, will explain in BL
- Maybe this is just a pet peeve of mine, but I don't care for the lack of payment processor. Will explain in BL

Bottom Line:
Let me get those two negatives out of the way. When you join the Karups sites, you get an email that has a cancel link and you also have a link inside the site once you join to cancel. It works for me, but I would much prefer to see CCBill or Paycom handling the payments. The too fast ending picture sets. It seems like some of the sets focus too much on certain parts of the set, 5-6 pictures that are very similar poses, then it just ends. The sets have plenty of pictures but not enough variety in the poses.

Now for the good stuff, anytime you hear near 1,000 models, you know you are going to be busy for awhile. Models come in many varities here, ethnics, plain, busty, babes. The problem with that is the same on all sites like this. You may go through 30 models without finding one that you even want to click on. The navigation does help some here since it helps separate the models into groups, but then again, that means if the person putting these sets into groups has a different opinion than yours of what is ethnic and what isn't, well, you're going to have to do some digging.

The quality is very good considering the insane amount of content. For me, this is what really helps this site. The full scene movie downloads, zip downloads, high resolution pictures and above average movie resolution really does make the site worth its price. I was pleasently surprised overall by the amount and quality of content, and can recommend this site without hesitation!

Pros:
+ Thousands of vids
+ Large majority of vids are hardcore, buy there is a nice mix of both soft and hardcore.
+ More than just BLONDES!
+ Good quality vidoes (see cons as well)
+ Easy site acces

Cons:
- Videos are split up, so you can't do a 'full video' download
- Pricey (but is it worth it...)
- Newer vids are better resolution, while older content is hit-or-miss

Bottom Line:
I saw a link to this site on another site and thought, "why not!"

Since I'm a huge fan of softcore/ solo action, this site had alot to offer. Differing body types, not all the same hair color. Its nice to see a mix from time-to-time.

It's a good amature site, but really expensive. If you have to keep a closee budget, I'd go else where. I personally went for a bigger site with more content with more frequent updates.

Bottom Line:
if you search for mass solo mastrubation videos then you have to become a member of that site.

there are plenty videos with every kind of girls you can think of, from hairy to shaved from small to big breasted, from dildo to handplay, from soft- to hardcore.

ok, the dl speed isn`t really good but because of the splitted videos it`s also acceptable. also the "sometimes" talking in the videos isn`t quite good but hopefully the don`t play music :).

all in all, if you compare this site to the other with similar topics, then i have to say that 1 By Day is the better side.
there are more videos and the video quality is higher. also the list of special interests is bigger.

Pros:
- Lots of great looking women
- enough pics and videos to keep you busy for a long time
- Many of the videos are candid
- Clear authentic sound quality with some close oral sounds
- Nice hardcore. Nothing too brutal
- Plenty of softcore (my preference)

Cons:
- Limited video format: split in 2 (softcore) or 4 (hc)
- Could be more creative: Kinkier stuff, more teasing by women, experiment with makup and fetishes.
- needs better search engine (not big issue)
- more oral teasing and and oral sex.

Bottom Line:
Great site with lots of good content. I like more solo videos and shots. They are focusing on the amateur angle, but they could take more chances on new angles.

Pros:
- Easy Navigation: Broken up into categories ( Babes, Athletic, Ethnic Outdoor, Toys. Hardcore, Soft core, feeds/streams, Top rated sets/models)
- updated every other day
- Good Mix of Models: some models seen on other sites, some are exclusive to site.
- contains lots and lots of content
- Almost all models contain mix of pictures and videos
- High resolution pics
- Newer videos good quality
- most models are attractive
- over 1,000 models , and 100,000 pics

Cons:
- some of the older videos and pics are poor quality
- a little bit pricey (29.90 for a month)
- only video download option is wmv
- they say no porn stars ( Amy Reid is on the site, but I'm not complaining)
- alot of the girl/girl videos seem to be of lower quality
- no partner sites offered ( but who needs it)
- kinda wish they had categories such as big boobs, small boobs, masturbation, girl/girl, boy/girl added. But no big deal

Bottom Line:

Pros:
Tons of down home American girl next door types (Karups uses it's sister site for showcasing the Eastern European talent). Very high quality of photos. Outstanding color accuracy (Skin colors are true to life and natural).
Video interviews to allow you to get to know the model. The video quality is very much improved from a few years ago and is excellent by todays standards. Updates virtually every day. Dating of updates allows you to easily pick up where you left off when resubscribing.

Bottom Line:

Pros:
Easy navigation, plenty of updates.
Very professionally done site. A ton of nice looking eager beavers. The site is definately the top of the amature sites that feature female solo masturbation. They dont get too artsy like some of the others do. I dont know if youre like me. Simple is better....girl laying on bed...decides to get off....Actually gets off. Cons:
They need to work on the videos themselves. The rating would have been higher if this were the case. As with most amature sites....the video people move way too much....so much its almost sickening. Concentrating on this will bring them much more in terms of a viewing audience.

Bottom Line:
The best amature site out there....doesnt have the artsy stuff that ftv does....doesnt do the sick and twisted stuff that als scans does. But does offer a little more then matts does.
I dont look at the photos so I couldnt grade that.
