I don't think removing your review would have been a good idea because you did make it with every good intention and you obviously adore the site and the woman who runs it. I can provide an example of how someone can really like a site but give it less than a perfect score. I recently joined a amateur site and really enjoyed it thoroughly. In the end I gave it an 85 which in my mind was very high praise. I thought there were some things that could improve and I hope if she ever read my review that she'd take that as a compliment. There is always room for improvement in any website and if you can find some things that others might find questionable or even just notable, I think it raises the respect factor for your review and for you as a reviewer. But, as your review stands now, it wouldn't have any real effect on whether or not I'd join. Although, I do agree that if you love a site and can't find anything wrong with it, what else can you do but sing it's praises? All we need here is time and more reviews which will only be a good thing.

I agree with the reply of the webmaster, although I suppose you are entitled to your opinion and it wasn't a full review. I find that my like of tatoos has very little effect because other aspects of the site and the girl will outweigh whether or not she has tatoos in the end and whether or not I'd stay a member. I think it would have been better to have just said you didn't like tatoos and left it at that. Also, if all you liked is what her body would have looked like without tatoos, why comment at all?

Sorry TinaMaria, nothing personal intended.

I was responding to the original review in which no mention of the tattoo theme was made. And yes, it IS my opinion, which is what this comment section is intended to be used for.

For those who are into tattoos, this site is good. If the original review referred to the fact that it was a tattoo theme, I would not have made any comment at all.

This is your personal opinion and not construstive at all. The theme of my site is tattoos, so if you arent into that then go elsewhere. If I find a site that Im not into, I dont slag the model off for how she looks, I go and look for something that is MY thing.

I think that personal attacks on my appearance are not what this site is about...and not what I expected from it

I quite agree that this is a Tempest in a Teapot or to use the English equivalent "A storm in a Teacup". I have actually been looking at some of the other reviews and if I had looked at them earlier my review would have been more objective, however I did also consider that adding a second Review would not have been the correct thing to do.

magoonigal, while I understand what you're saying about existing members being more likely to give a favorable review, I see that even in the short time we've been opened, we've received some amazing reviews, many quite objective, for a number of other sites. If you haven't already, you may want to browse some of the other sites that have been reviewed. As you'll see, being a satisfied customer doesn't (always) preclude giving an objective opinion.

I also know that our "Recommended rating guidelines" shows 100 as a perfect site with little to improve.

If I might share another personal observation ...
Perhaps I'm the exception or maybe just overly critical, however, I've been active with adult sites for over ten years now ... have been a member of or inside the members' area of hundreds of pay sites and oddly, still have yet to come upon a perfect site. But as you say, not everyone's tastes are the same and everyone should make their own decisions. For me, that goes not just for what sites to check out, but also how much weight to give any individual review.

At this stage I see this as truly a tempest in a tea-pot and really don't see much value in belaboring it further. That at least some of Tina's members are very loyal I don't think it is question at this point ... we got it, really. I will look forward to seeing further reviews submitted for the site itself.

As an aside ...
Each webmaster DOES have the option of adding a link to us to encourage more members to share their opinions. The restrictions are that they can't offer incentives for members' that give reviews nor may they ask or influence users to submit a review or comment with a specific agenda. But again, they are allowed to put up a link ... that's totally at their discretion, of course.

I agree that to ask an existing member of a site to write an objective review is very difficult, if not impossible. If they remain a Member of that site then they must be satisfied with that site or they would vote with their feet and leave. To write an objective review you have to be independent, like yourself and grade each site against a recognised set of criterion. ie marks out of 10 for Quality, number of updates, Content etc. Perhaps if you offered this facility to Members then reviews might be more objective. I stand by everything I have said in my review because its true and I would be interested in reading Member's comments like that before deciding whether to join a site or not.
My botton line comment is "Don't take my word for it , have a look for yourself". Not everybodies tastes are the same and many will be put off by Tina's Tattoo's, but to me thats not something I would say against the site.
Perhaps if Tina was allowed to put a link to your site on her site then more Members would submit reviews and provide you with a more balanced picture.
As a long time Member of her site Tina did ask me to provide a review and my comments were made in good faith as I'm sure Neil's were.

Once again I thank you for allowing me to respond to your comments and I wish you continued success with pornusers on both sides of the pond.
I welcome your decision to leave Neil's review on your site and appreciate the opportunity to comment.
What I can say is that Tina puts her heart and soul into the site and works very hard to maintain the content and quality which far exceeds many sites that I have been a member of in the past. Her site is very Personal to her and anyone who joins will soon be made aware of that.
But as I said before don't take my word for it, have a look for yourself and make your own mind up.

I only registered here after you guys sent me an email. I have no control over what others put about me.

I expect the reason they put those reviews is because they thought they were doing a good thing. Because members often chat to me everyday and email me on a daily basis, they often get to know me. Other sites often give out passwords then never speak to their members again, I don't do that so members often get a bit closer to me than they do to models of other sites.

I hope some other members manage to leave some objective reviews at some point as this site seemed like a good idea when I saw the email.

Well Tina, I'm sure the member thought they were doing you a favor by giving your site such a rave review. I doubt they considered that such a one-sided review could hardly be seen as objective. and thus, probably of little influence on others.

While we do make suggestions on what should be included in a review (see both our Terms and FAQ), as this *was* a registered user, we're not inclined to remove it at this time. I did note that the user appears to have created the account for the sole purpose of adding their praise of your site as they don't seem to have been back since.

Anyhoo .. it speaks to your credit that you'd acknowledge that a fan's praise of you isn't exactly the same as an objective review of your site. So, I'll wish you continued good luck with your site and thank you for yor participation here at PornUsers.com.

I completely agree with this, and think that either some cons should be added by these members or they be removed because I always want to present a broad perspective of things.

I think the reason for this is like you said, because my site is not one or those corporation sites and is very much a site that is about interaction. However these members are members and I have never met them, they added the reviews themselves, but please feel free to remove them if you like because you have some valid points.

I think that maybe you need to ask them to concentrate on things like quality, quantity, bit rate, photo size, features etc instead of me, and I think thats the mistake these users made, reviewing me and the way I run the site rather than those things.

I have to (personally) observe that reviews that are extremely one sided and lack objectivity tend to lose a certain measure of credibility when offered as an unbiased review. This is doubly so when the reviewer implies a pre-existing friendly relationship with the site owner (i.e. Ps thanks for the stockings etc Tina )

While I fully understand that members of "fan" sites can be extremely loyal and understand them sharing their enthusiasm. And I can even look at this as somewhat a positive thing as one must assume the site works hard to earn such loyalty. What I don't do is assume that such unabashed loyalty will be a good indicator of how I will feel about the site.

Again, these are MY PERSONAL opinions and should not be seen as anything else.

Various important site updates

Here is a list of updates which have been improved since my last follow up review:

- Now over 7600 amateur homegrown photos
- Now over 100 videos (average 5-20mins each)
- New! Just added a brand new short clips page for those of you that don't want to download the full videos
- Brand new stills camera so photos are of a much higher quality
- Photos are now at a size of 1200 x 800 pixels
- Videos are now at a bit rate of 1400 kbps and 700 kbps

New Domain Name

Firstly hello to everyone on this site, I'm Tina Maria the webmaster of Babeink.com (formerly known as pantygirl.co.uk).

Bringing me to the news, my site now has permenent new domain name which is Babeink.com and the genre of the site is no longer panties :) Existing members have told me that they have enjoyed the changes but I'd welcome any comments or crits that will help me improve the site.
