Pros:
A massive amount of hardcore scenes featuring actresses (and directors/studios) from the well known to the unknown. As of this writing there are almost 70,000 scenes available for download. New videos are added regularly.

Downloading is very easy, and you can select different file sizes/types for your convenience.

The videos are almost always of a higher quality than those found at the various tube sites.

Finding videos of a certain niche (amateur, anal, etc) is fairly easy, although it could be improved (see "Cons" section).

Very low cost considering the large amount of usually high quality content.

Cons:
The content is non-exclusive.

The filter function could really use some work, it's the main reason I've scored this website in the high 80s rather than the 90s. It lets you include certain content in the filter, but doesn't let you exclude content. For example, let's say I want a video featuring a blonde woman but I'm not in the mood for anal. I can specify "Blonde" in a filter search but I can't specify "not anal". Considering that there are currently over 10,000 "Blonde anal" scenes that I'd have to manually avoid, that's a problem.

The porn itself is of varying quality. Some is quite good, some isn't. There are too many un-apologetically over the top performances for my liking, but that's porn for you. I'd wager that it won't bother most of the website's target customer base.

Bottom Line:
Although the content isn't exclusive, I've not seen it in a single place at such a high quality for such a low price. Videobox.com is overall an excellent website for someone who wants access to high quality, professionally produced adult video downloads at a relatively low price point.

Content is not exclusive, its videos from other porn production companies.

Bottom Line:
Videobox is an excellent porn site with a lot to offer. They have daily updates with five full videos a day.

The content focuses on main stream porn though they do occasionally have a fetish video including some trannie porn and bdsm. Most of the content is straight boy/girl sex from big porn companies such as lethal hardcore, vince voyeur studios, and now even jules jordan. Of course they also have lesbian scenes and gang bang videos. The search feature allows you to search for niche content easily and has a porn model search feature but for female porn stars only.

Vivid and evil angel have a seperate chanel with one video added every other day but there is an additional monthly fee for full access. They also have added content for reality kings and kink recently for other additonal charges. How ever the main site has several thousand porn videos you can download, stream, and even make your own custom clips that offers endless hours of porn surfing.

Each day at 8am eastern time they add five vidoes. The videos show up with their covers. You can click on the video and it shows each scene with six screen shots to give you and idea of the content. Most videos also have a description and the names of the femal porn stars in the video and scene. Each scene has the option to download in wmv, at 640X480, 480X362 iphone at 320X240 and H.264 at 640X480. Also one video a day has a hi-def opetion for download. Videos can also be streamed by flash player and you can cut and make your own custom clip if you don't eant to download the whole scene and save disk space on your device. Each scene and video also has a comment section where you can add your thoughts or reviews for the scenes.

Overall videobox has an enormous porn collection of content with something for everyone. For the price and the vast amount of content this site can't be beat.

Pros:

Bottom Line:
This is an excellent website to download scenes from more than 100 DVDs. Custom download is a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, if u are new, u might get confused at first and u can't play MP4 scenes on your Xbox 360. Overall, 15 bucks is the perfect price compared to more than 30 when u rent and burn the DVDs from the video store. U won't regret it.

Pros:
SO much content! Very well organized into niches and sub-categories. A wide range of content here. I have personally found just about everything here niche/fetish-wise. Videobox seems hellbent on trying to offer at least a little bit of everything.

They offer five add-on sites that can extend your choices pretty greatly. Kink.com is the smallest, but probably the best deal if you know how much fetish sites usually cost and offering much less content than mainstreams sites.

What's cool about the add-ons is that they prorate them as the month goes on. So, you can just wait till the last week and pick up the add-ons for a few dollars, then cancel them before the next billing cycle. Cancellation is a breeze and you can do it all from within the main site.

Video quality and database is amazing. Just pick what you want. Streams really well too. IT has drastically cut down on how much I actually download. It allows you to mark favs, save stars, etc. all on line.

Cons:
It will be easier to just explain what you won't find a lot of. Anything missing from the regular site may be picked up for added charges. If you want gay and bisexual stuff you are pretty much out of luck. There's a great deal of femdom, but cuckold, for example, is pretty rare at Videobox. However, you can join their affiliate for an added fee and get access to Kink.com vids. So, that's cool. There are also some other affiliates that you can add on such as Vivid, Evil Angel, etc. So, in all you can pretty much cover every niche. For gay videos you have to join Videobox Men, which is a separate site.

That's my only complaint is that you pretty much dealing with mainstream stuff, but buried within is the fetish stuff you may be craving.

Bottom Line:
Cent for cent the best deal on the net. You really can beat the selection and functionality. They even give you a mobile membership. If you are going to spend money every month this is how you need to do it.

Bottom Line:
I�ve been a member at Videobox for probably a total of five years or so, and I�ve reviewed it here several times too, so is there anything new that I could add? I hope so.

I still think that VB is an amazing site and I still recommend it to friends who are looking to build a porn collection in one easy step. VB is like the adult superstore that lives in your computer. VB is now creeping up on 12,000 DVDs and they continue to add five per day. I�ve said this before and I still believe it: VB is already huge so they should concentrate on quality and let the quantity slide a bit. If VB is like a porn superstore that lives in your computer, then the bargain bins are starting to take over the floor space. Past complaints have been that VB has too heavy a reliance on low-grade European porn, but they seem to be balancing that with more U.S. titles now. The bad news, in a �Monkey�s Paw� sort of way, is that the U.S. titles are frequently slapped-together compilations. You know the kind where a studio will pay some kid editor to compile some unrelated but thematically similar scenes? That�s the kind of work that gives you classics like �Girls with Moles on their Bums.� Okay, so I made that up, but it isn�t far off. I wouldn�t complain as much except sometimes a scene can be here on the original DVD and then on several compilations too. Even with the European porn, it seems to be bargain-bin quality.

Much of the discussion here seems to be about VB3. I share the opinion that most others have: I don�t like it. I�ll admit that part of that is because I don�t like change, but this seems to be a change just for the sake of change. Sure, the old VB was fairly simple, but that�s not bad. My suspicion is that VB3 is driven by marketing. It appears that not all the bugs are worked out yet either since the site pushes a �new and improved� VB3. I tried it and used the feature that allows me to add scenes to �my stash� for future viewing and I found it buggy enough that I gave up on it.

Other bad things about the site are probably more personal taste, but it sure seems like VB has every solo girl masturbation movie ever made. And a pet peeve of mine is that with many compilations (and even some original DVDs) the performers aren�t credited.

But as for the bad things about VB, that�s pretty much it. This really is an excellent site and I�d highly recommend it.

The format is known to most of us: DVDs broken down into scenes that can be streamed, edited into a custom clip, or downloaded in any of several ways. There is usually a clip labeled as �WMV DVD,� one as �WMV high� and two smaller versions for devices and iPhones. Since my connection speed is higher than the last time I was here I downloaded the DVD quality scenes only. They come in at 720x480 and 3800kb/s. HD is available on some titles but not many and it isn�t predictable. The WMV files are in codec 8 so that means that anyone using a set-top USB box (like a Western Digital) won�t be able to play these.

Download speeds are up to normal standards. One thing I really appreciate is that when queuing up scenes using a download manager the links don�t seem to have any time-outs. My DL manager was churning away the next morning after loading it with links one night. Not every site will allow that.

An addition that VB made a few years ago seems to be working out well � that�s the addition of several �channels.� I always add Evil Angel because I like their work. EA now has 526 DVDs on the site and add a new one every two days. Surprisingly there is little overlap between the EA channel and the two EA sites.

Vivid is a bit soft for me but I did try this channel once. It now has 528 DVDs and also updates every two days.

I�ve never joined the Reality Kings or Kink sites, though I may this time. One advantage with RK may be that if this is off the VB server then there would be no download limits. If I join and can say for certain I�ll let you know.

I�ve been a big fan and frequent member of Kink sites and I�m planning to sign on to this channel soon. It will be a good opportunity to try some material from their sites that I�ve not joined before.

One advantage to the channels that isn�t immediately clear is that the pricing is pro-rated. If you join VB at the first of the month and then add a channel two weeks later you�ll only pay for the two weeks left in that month. If you cancel your membership after a month it can be good value. If you keep the membership and all the channels you�ll obviously pay full price the following month.

If you need a concise way to think about VB, think of it as an all-you-can-eat porn buffet. The quality is pretty good, but it isn�t as good as other places. This is about satisfying an appetite when you want 10 pounds of chicken wings, not about treating yourself to filet mignon. Both have their place though.

Bottom Line:
Overall, this is one of the best sites I've seen in a long time. There's a lot of variety with many different options about how to watch. You can download at decent speeds, you can stream directly, or you can simply mark the movie as a favorite to watch later. Given the variety and sheer amount of porn here, I guarantee that you'll spend the first few days just selecting stuff you want to watch; there is a lot of it.

The bad things are really minor in my opinion. The biggest complaint is that, regardless of the variety, most of the porn on this site is very much the same. For example, lesbian porn, ebony porn, and some other "mainstream tastes" are a little underrepresented; it's mostly Asian or Caucasian-straight sex. That being said, there's still plenty to choose from if you like lesbians or interracial sex, or whatever...just not as much.

In addition, the user rating system is problematic. Given the tremendous variation in taste among the sites users, I can't help but feel there could be a better system. Here's an example: when you enter a search for movies, each movie has a "star-rating" (one star, two stars, three, etc.) However, because there's such a large number of subscribers, all with different tastes, and many who are very vocal about how much they hate this or that type of porn, just about every movie, scene, and porn star winds up with a three-star rating once the movie's been up for a couple of hours. A lot of very good porn sits in the middle of their rating system because of this.

Overall, however, these complaints are minor: I would hope for more lesbian updates, for example, but I can't complain with the number they have. If you join, don't take the movie ratings too seriously; thanks to streaming you can always decide for yourself if you like it before you download. The other channels are there, but they clearly label which movies are in what channel, so you won't have to live with ads for Vivid or Evil Angel every ten minutes.

i joined because of the great price, ability to make custom clips, and huge selection. unfortunately the download speeds were around 500kb/s which is totally unacceptable. also sometimes movies would stop half way thru and id have to reload them. the custom clip feature is awesome, however its hard to get the splice locations correct. ive had to redownload several clips cause they were not correctly set. i guess if you have patience or are ok with just web viewing this site i sgreat for you

Well price is a pro and a con here amazingly, she below for the con but have to give it if I didn't know I paid more than people in America I would say it's good value for money for the amount of porn you get.

Some absolute gems in here if you take your time and do some searching, I felt the search engine was adequate and I did prefer to be honest the old version of video box to VB3. Thankfully I still had the option when I was there back in the beginning of July, seems like they changed soon as I expired and now its only VB3.

Strongest vids I enjoyed were Private range of movies some, really hot European ladies I never had heard of but like super models doing porn. I did enjoy also the Shane's World vids for amateur style which is a genre I've not really tapped into to. Sinsational Pictures and Sineplex also had some really good anal scenes that I liked. Lastly video Art Holland had some real good dvds that I was impressed with.

Cons:
The price annoyed me some, having to pay $9 more for living in the UK, so it was $24 (�15), that said I do have to admit it was still good value for money as a great choice of DVDs.

Slowish downloads, I didn't quite have the problems Bletch had in the review below but did think it was very slow which is why I turned to using Internet Download Manager and that speeding thing up nicely for me and I could download say 3 movies in 5 to 10 mins.

Quality lacked somewhat on some movies to the point as they were under 100mb, this meant they were barely watchable to me really. I'm used to at least over 150mb for me to be bothered downloading.

I know you can't complain but did sometimes have a series from a studio I liked and over joyed to see Videobox had some of them but only to find they were missing the volume with the girl I wanted to see, happened quite a few time, but I guess they can't have everything.

Bottom Line:
My bottom line of this site is its very good, I have found lots of new lovely fav women here, discovered some great dvds that I just would of never of come across or hired out from the dvd shop. The quality on some clips sure could be improved but with so many scenes and movies that would be some job going through and posting up better quality versions of all.

I went to the site to discover my newly fondness of milfs and ended up coming away with a lot more with the discovering some really excellent chickilitas that I will add to my list of favs. So overall I'm a happy bunny with being a Videobox member.

Its an absolute overwhelming site at first though as you don't know where to begin with all the back DVDs available, currently 11,346 DVDs and 63,293 scenes, now thats a lot if you end up getting them all. I guess the fun of the site is discovering gems in a all the vastness of the site and getting stocked up on studios you like.

84 score is marked down for the quality of scenes and certainly not quantity, just wished a little higher resolution for some of the movies, especially the scenes from Private studios which were a few years old but some were barely watchable.

Bottom Line:
Well I won't beat about the bush here so let's get straight to the point.
The content is more or less the same you'll find at any of the other 'multi dvd sites' For example you'll find tons of stuff from half assed companies what went under ages ago Pandemonium, Black Thunder...etc. You'll also find older stuff from Diabolic, Red Light etc..

7 hours for a 260mb download, are they fucking serious? Time of day? take your pick, just don't feed me the shit about off peak hours cause it's bull. I'm currently enjoying another 3 day tour with Devils Film and a full months sign up with Blacks on Blondes. Guess what, no download probs with either of them - except Devil's Film, which is still pretty slow - but looks fast compared to this crap.

Users from the UK will want to miss this one I'm afraid, peak hours in the US tend to run from 7am to 7pm, well just on this site anyway.

- VB3 seems like a change driven by marketing rather than a genuine move to improve the site

Bottom Line:
This is my fourth review of VB since becoming a PU member many years ago. I had hoped to focus on the new, �improved,� VB3 but I�ll have to leave that to someone else. I�m sure that VB3 is fairly easy to use and straightforward once you get used to it, but with VB2 being as simple and straightforward as it is already why bother changing it? I�m familiar and comfortable with VB2 so I used that.

Unless you�ve been living under a rock you know about VB. This has to be one of the best, and probably the best, DVD site on the �net. It offers a huge amount of material for the low price of a membership. I can�t imagine that there is another site that offers this kind of value.

There are a lot of good reasons to join VB: size and variety are the two biggest ones. There are almost 10,000 DVDs on the site now, with more being added daily. The site doesn�t concentrate on serving one fetish or niche to the exclusion of others either, but it serves many very well. There are members who complain when they don�t like an update, but I think that approach forgets that there are probably a lot of people who are pleased with the update. Also good are the options available to view the scenes: there are multiple download options depending on the quality you want or the size you can store, and streaming is also available. Download speeds are better than average.

The downsides to the site are pretty minor and probably mostly subjective. I find that they still seem to push quantity over quality, and I find a heavy reliance on lower-grade European material.

VB now offers four �premium channels.� Evil Angel and Vivid were added quite a while ago and both now have a decent library available. These two were bundled for a while, which made for a great value, but now they are separate add-ons. That probably makes more sense given that these two studios offer vastly different material and likely have few customers who seek out material from both.

The two newest premium channels are Kink.com and Reality Kings. I didn�t add either of them on. I�m not really familiar with Reality Kings (though I have had a membership) so I can�t give a good opinion. As for Kink.com, if you�ve never been a member of any of their sites this would be a good way to access some stuff to sample it. There is a good sampling from many of their sites, such as The Training of O and Water Bondage.

Even with the few things I don�t like, VB is still likely my favorite porn site. It has so much to offer at such a low price that it is a no-brainer to join. Unlike other sites you don�t get a staggered membership at first � you get access to the probably the largest porn stash on the �net with no download limits. A membership here for a few months will give you a better collection than some porn shops have. It really does have something for everyone.

Pros:
Great website design & also a beta-version of their new VB3 site is also ever evolving which I hope to see released fully soon.
A larger portion of 'iPad' users seem to be driving HTML5 web viewing which is beta tested in their VB3 beta website--which I am glad, as I am also one of those iPad users!
Great variety of content, lots of videos in every category, great ability to save your favorite scenes, videos, stars, etc for later viewing!

Cons:
Not really any problems that I see, the extra channels are maybe not as large as I'd like but that's a very small--very small problem.... The rest of the website is FANTASTIC and PLENTIFUL.

Bottom Line:
The website is currently beta testing a new website version (called VB3) which is available along side the current version. Its well worth the $ and I'm only irritated that I've never tried it earlier, lol, its well worth the $ they ask--which isn't bad.

I recently joined a competitor to get a few videos that aren't on VB3, and must say VideoBox ease of use is FANTASTIC compared to the competitor--no bashing but I'm staying with VB for a long, long time!!

Pros:
Videobox has a good variety of newer and older movie clips available. There are different download speeds for the viewer to choose from, depending on their internet connection and application. The price is very good, less than a movie purchase!I enjoy the make your own clip option and also really like the ability to view the clip before I download.

Cons:
The site needs to break down the niches. The search was often inaccurate, especially if you checked pornstars. The video quality varied greatly from clip to clip.

Bottom Line:
A+. Recommended, inexpensive site to download clips from and build your dvd collection. I am probably going to join the site again in a few months.

Cons:
New interface has many bugs and is very difficult to use.

In my opinion, they have ruined one of best sites on the net.

Search feature no longer works correctly nullifying the benefit of the keywords.

Bottom Line:
Software engineers have this annoying desire to take something that works well and redo it so it no longer works. Their desire to add the latest "features" like floating windows that pop up unexpectedly in an irritating manner overrides the desire of the user for simplicity and ease of use. New versions always have bugs that require months or even years to fix.

VideoBox had an excellent site with 5 new DVDs added per day. Unfortunately, they just redid their interface as VB3 and basically ruined the site. I hope they will come to their senses and go back to the old interface, or at least give users the option. I am not against improvements or new ideas, but VB3 is a giant step backwards in terms of usability.

My rating drops from 95 to 70 because of VB3. That is how much I dislike it.

VB is one of two sites to which I have been a continuous member for more than 2 yr. It saddens me greatly to see it ruined.

With the new interface, I can no longer recommend it.

Pros:
Over 8750 titles available as of today.

Five daily updates.

Excellent streaming.

Excellent download speed.

Reasonable price.

Cons:
Search is horrible, eg. search under "old" or "grannies" and you will get listings featuring teens etc.

Most videos are grade B or worse.

Not enough variety from one update to the other, it is mostly Gonzo style Porn that starts with the action rather than with a lead-in. Checking any given daily update shows a monotonous sameness among the five DVDs.

Much Niche content is under-represented .. see monotonous sameness!

Deception in many DVDs. Sometimes compilations are offered that only have one or two scenes that actually represent the action promised by the title. This goes for other DVD sites as well.

Talking about titles and deception, frequently teens aren't teens and MILFs aren't MILFs. This would be the producers' fault rather than that of Videobox but they could be more discriminating when it comes to choosing the titles they will purchase, so they must bear part of the blame.

Too many videos are blurred (soft rather than crisp) .. see Grade B videos.

Bottom Line:
Just like others I have to stress that this is not the first time I subscribe to this site and the obvious conclusion is that there must be something that keeps bringing me back. Sometimes I do wonder why, but still and all I would encourage anyone who is new to porn to subscribe.
They will find a wealth of scenes they will like.

However, for anyone who has been a member on and off over the years the neglect of niches when it comes to the daily updates is regrettable and has to reduce the ratings given by them. That's why a newbie might give a 99 while I'm giving a 75. In my mind no higher score is justified at the moment.

Together, newbies and veterans might give this site an average score that better represents its value than the 95 given by TBP.

And, yes, down the road I'll probably subscribe again!

Bottom Line:
Yes, I realize that this is probably the most reviewed site here at PU, and yes, I also realize that this is the third time I�ve reviewed this site, but I wanted to update my opinion of the site and I figured that a comment wouldn�t suffice. I also added the premium channels this time too.

I�m a big fan of Videobox. I�ve had friends who�ve asked for recommendations on porn sites and I�ve sent them to VB. VB is an excellent way to build a large, good quality porn collection. It has enough variety to satisfy all but the most unusual tastes, though the search function (or lack thereof) makes finding what you want more difficult. A site this large needs a better means of searching.

VB is big enough and well known enough that one bad review won�t hurt it. I�m still a fan, but less of a fan than I have been. The thing I think that is dragging VB down is, ironically, what is one of their big selling points: five updates a day. The problem with having five updates a day is that this emphasizes quantity over quality. When they�re putting five new DVDs up per day, every day, regardless of your tastes there will be an awful lot of crap being uploaded.

To fill their daily quota VB relies heavily on European porn. I prefer American porn, but that�s not my motivating point here. There is good European porn and there is bad European porn. (Same with the U.S.) The problem is that VB seems to rely on more bad European stuff than good stuff. Take Private � they are (or at least used to be) a high-quality studio. I only learned that they also crank out complete crap thanks to VB. This is grade-B and C Private stuff.

Another pet peeve of mine that is also caused by the daily update schedule is the use of a lot of compilation DVDs. The problem is that with many of the compilation DVDs VB has already posted the original. Luckily someone usually points out the duplication. But VB gets to count another update without really updating anything.

On the plus side, VB has recently been adding older Seymore Butts titles. These are great to see again.

They�ve also started adding some Diabolic titles too. There aren�t many up yet, but these certainly move the quality balance in the right direction.

For the first time, I also added the �premium� channels. These really add to the value of the membership now that they are bundled for the fee. They are a bit pricey, but they do offer good value with both channels having just under 400 titles posted now. A new title gets added to each channel every two or three days.

Is VB still a great value? Definitely. But they should modify their business model now that their so far ahead of the competition and focus on quality rather than quantity. I�d be satisfied with one update a day to have better quality.

-Excellent member interaction with reviews and opinions of videos and scenes
-Frequent updates
-Ability to creat custom clips, so you only have to download what you want.

Cons:
-Site navigation is mediocre. For a smaller site, their style might be great, but for a site this large it just doesn't work
-Search function often returns a mixed bag of seemingly random stuff, or doesn't work at all
-Model labels are often incorrect. I can accept that they can't be held responsible for what is on the DVD, but when the members comment that the model name is incorrect, would it be that difficult to fix it?
-Video quality is mediocre in this age, and the file size of newer videos seems quite large given the quality of video
-Site bills directly rather than using a 3rd party biller
-Quality of videos is very hit-or-miss, with most in my opinion being miss.

Bottom Line:
I know there are tons of reviews of this particular site, and I am sure that everyone at PU has been or will be a member eventually. This site used to be one of the best if not the best porn site on the net. However, lately I feel like they are focussing on stupid little user interface issues rather than resolving major issues with the site. How many times have they redesigned the front page? While adding user costum edited clips is interesting, who has the time to dig through that shit?

They should focus more on fixing the problems with the site. Get quality rather than quantity. They already have a huge archive, I don't think many would be dissappointed with 4-5 updates per week if they were good updates. Also, a site this large needs better navigation. The videos can easily be tagged with more info than gonzo and one on one. Tags for tats, breast size (other than large), and body type would be nice. If they don't want to do it, let the users tag the scenes - I'm sure plenty will.

This overall is a good site, and there is a reason it is so popular, but they could certainly take a cue from sites like American Vice that unfortunately failed. Like I said, everyone here should and will become a member here at some point or another, but that doesn't mean videobox doesn't have plenty of issues to resolve.

I like that interface is translated to many languages. I like Videobox category search too. I read that users dislike search on Videobox. I am using only their multiple category search and I like it very much. I also like Videobox variety, they have 40 categories to look for. They also have feature movies, and many movies from "Private" which IMHO is the best porn studio. "Private" videos on Videobox are old, were first released on DVD about 2000-2005.

I like Videobox site and recommend it.

The biggest problem I had with this site was that even though it updates everyday ( which is more than enough), I found myself wanting even more of this great site.

Can create custom clips (if you feed the need to).
Good download speeds (~600K/sec) and works with my d/l mgr of choice.

Cons:
Poor download speeds (~50k/sec) for smaller clips - I guess the smaller vids are hosted on slower servers/networks?
Sometimes poor download speeds (less than 50K/sec) on some occasions.
Organising favourites didn't work - I tried moving favourites between folders and it didn't work. No response from Videobox support either.

Bottom Line:
Not much change from my previous review of this great site.
In light of all the other great reviews, this'll sound boring, but Videobox is an excellent site that's excellent bang for your buck.
The content isn't exclusive but is high quality both technically and in content.
The so-called DVD quality may only be 640x480 but it does scale well to full screen on my widescreen laptop.
Would be nice to see proper HDV though this would mean much larger filesizes.
Would like to see more videos from Private studio as I'm a stockings kinda guy and they do lots of girls in sexy lingerie.
Overall highly recommended.

Yes, I know Videobox has been reviewed here many times before so I won�t simply rehash everything that you can read below.

I�ve said this before � if you�re new to collecting internet porn a membership at this site is essential. Most porn video stores wouldn�t have the volume that VB has. If you�re just starting out this will take you much more than a month to get through unless you have a really narrow niche you�re looking for. The other site a newbie needs to spend some time at is American Vice. I�m amazed that VB and AV don�t overlap much more than they do. The up-side to this is that you can download from one knowing that you probably won�t find it on the other.

I first took out a VB membership in 2005 and maintained that without a break until late 2008. After that I switched to taking a monthly membership a few times a year. If you�re new to the site, expect to stay a while.

There have been some subtle changes that I�ve noticed over the past little while. One is that they seem to have been listening to a lot of complaints by users that the DVDs were heavily skewed to anal themes. Some people took to calling the site �AnalBox.� In my current stay at VB I can report that there does appear to be a reduction in anal themed DVDs. I�ll leave it to you to decide if this is good or bad. (The Rearadmiral, though, thinks it�s bad.) In my opinion, the switch away from anal (which I never thought was out of proportion with the industry � anal is popular people!) means that VB doesn�t have some anal scenes from some of the hottest new girls in the biz. Stars like Aubrey Addams and Dakoda Brookes do anal, but there aren�t a lot of their anal scenes on VB. I suspect that this is partly a response to complaints.

There are also a lot more European videos. Some of these are decent, many aren�t. When they promise five updates a day they have to have access to a lot of videos and they seem to have sourced a lot from Europe. I like European movies, but I prefer U.S. stuff because I find it easier to keep track of the stars I like.

Anal or not, one issue is that they really seem to focus on quantity over quality. Some of the videos are really bad. I mean generally bad, not just �I don�t like this fetish� bad.

One thing I liked was that they are also adding some older (1990s) titles. Yes, I know this is a preference thing too, but it does add to the variety.

Apart from adding a lot of European content they are obviously continuing to expand their American lines too. Since my last membership they�ve added J.M. Productions, for example.

Overall, this site remains a must-have membership if you like porn DVDs. You can�t please everyone all the time, but this site tries and frequently succeeds.

(Please note that nothing above is intended to apply to the two extra-cost bonus sites. I�ve not had a membership to either and can�t say anything about them.)

Bottom Line:
All in all I personally was extremely satisfied with my experience. I joined at the rate of $14.95 / mo and stayed for one month... at this price I believe you get an at least very decent deal for your money. The amount of content is simply overwhelming.

I liked the way the content was organized into categories, and especially that they didn't create twice the amount of them just to have a different 'folder' for a few videos they have. On the other hand the search function - as others have reported as well - was acting weird at times, but it didn't bother that much, I usually just got lost in browsing like mad man. There are other ways to find what you're looking for, for example by using the 'newest', 'recommended', 'top scenes this week' or some other filters.

There are no pictures whatsoever, except for the DVD covers and a few screenshots that you use for searching. It didn't bother me at all, I'm a 'video guy'. Video quality was OK. I'm one that would enjoy nice HD footage every once in a while, but most of the time I'm rather looking at the content of the video rather than its quality; as long as it reaches a 'watchable' level, I'm OK with it. With that being said, offering only DVD quality and below is a little bit outdated, but I think it fits the profile of the whole site at the end. You get different .wmv formats (high and medium) and a few extras (such as iphone / ipod formats). Streaming worked just fine for me. That top 'search bar' was a kind of difficult to understand... I guess you should be able to see the frames where you're trying to get, but as it was mentioned earlier too, it's so inaccurate that it was almost useless (you really don't get where you think you scrolled on it). This was a little bit of an inconvenience, but nothing major.

Download speeds varied. Sometimes it was just fine, especially when doing multiple downloads at the same time, but sometimes it slowed down to the point I'd consider bothering.

Overall I was pretty satisfied with my month spent at Videobox. For those who want pictures, top quality HD material, or maybe just have been browsing porn for 'too' long, this site might be repetitive and outdated and not so much of interest. Otherwise it offers an amazing amount of content, and a user interface that can be lived with, especially considering the price you're paying.

ps.: As an extra note, a friend of mine took a look at it who was interested in their real milf selection (where 20 year olds in high heels don't qualify as milf :-) ), and he was pleasantly surprised with the amount of actual good content available; according to him including series, and parts of series that he hasn't found anywhere else earlier.

Pornstars: They got a major problem here - hire some PU - and it will get them much better help about the right names - AND the right scenes - ok, out of over 64000 videos, it's got to be a job - but still: You find too many models under wrong names - and the same model with up to four different names.
Still VideoBox has its force - when you get fed up with the same deal at more special sites, you can just go browsing and browsing and browsing here.
BUT: Major bottomline is still the lack of top-quality videos - they are too rare here - no matter to which price you choose to join.
The 85-score goes mostly to the vast amount and the - sometimes - joy of an almost endless search (without the search-machine of VideoBox) you got to choose you own speciel way here...
Gave it a 95 in an earlier review - but times are changing and the main cons are that VideoBox does NOT keep up in viewing quality for most videos...

The aspect ratio of DVD quality videos (especially wmv) is wrong for half the times. While most videos are meant to be viewed with aspect ratio 4:3(except for newer ones at 16:9), Videobox encoded them to aspect ratio 3:2. As the result, the screen is stretched wider, so is the girls' faces or bodies. While this is not obvious to most users, but once it comes to my attention, it becomes quite frustrating. Correct me if I'm wrong

Here a scenario: having downloaded a 25 minute scene which could take up 800 Mb, way too large for a non HD video(thanks to extra encoding to stretch the screen wider), and you end up with a video which doesn't look quite right.

The provided DVD quality h.264 videos don't have this problem. They save disk space, but they can be a a bit grainy due to high compression during encoding.

Besides, the model directory leaves out a lot models' names appear in the DVD scenes. You better off using the search box, but then you need to know the name of the girl

Bottom Line:
Has very annoying aspect ratio problem(I sent Video box my feedback twice, but only got auto responses). Need a completed model directory. Still can not find another website which matches its huge content.

Bottom Line:
This is simply the most porn for the price, and the most varied too. From teens to milfs and fat porn they have it all. I think they only miss gay but they have a special site for that too. The errors are minor and I will become a member again soon.

The only reason I didn't give it 100 is becuase I never tried contacting the staff but they seemed a bit distant, and the website (the streaming player part) can be a bit buggy. However, unless you want a niche of porn this is a great deal.

I am not going to repeat what half the planet have eloquently said here. So if you want stats read the dudes below me.

A vast selection of movies in various resolutions and formats.
All the regular porn stars and some fresh faces from various sources.
Decent ethnic categories.
Easy to navigate categories.
Good bookmarking system that actually works.
Good price.
Good support.

Cons:
It's about fukin' time they moved onto higher res and size formats.
Not enough niche content.
Non exclusive content.
Repackaging of older material as new titles a little deceptive and quality is akin to watching a movie underwater, in the dark and with one dodgy eye.

Bottom Line:
For sheer volume this site wins hands down.
A great selection of known porn babes and unknowns that can be very refreshing and affords variety.

Quality needs to be updated to comply with today's standards and easier bandwidths.

More niche content would be wonderful.

Price is a non arguable topic.

This site could really be the king of all pron sites if it would up it's quality, have more detailed niche content and maybe some exclusivity.

I, for one, would be happy to pay the extra premium to attain the above.

Pros:
- Most likely the internet's biggest site, as of 4-28-09 has 6,235 DVDs, should eclipse 35,000 scenes later today.
- Recent additions of new studios has improved their model coverage, with dozens of videos from European studios.
- Quality, though varying, on DVD quality files is well above average
- Five full DVDs per day
- 10 month membership for DVD quality for $99
- Though there are search engine problems, they do allow studio search, which usually is good enough for me to find what I like.
- Covers most fetishes at least to some degree, have a breakdown in the BL

Cons:
- Those new premium channels have already pissed me off. One of my favorite "classic" actresses is Taylor Hayes, I did a search for her to find to my surprise 18 scenes of the lovely, leggy goddess, clicked her name to start downloading only to find out ALL 18 scenes were on the Vivid premium channel. That is how you piss a customer off.
- No matter how hard I try, I will never be able to get all the content from here that I want because the search engine does have problems and will give example in BL.

Bottom Line:
Videobox to me is at the point where everyone wants to be, but once they get there they realize there is only one way to go and that is down.

They do everything they promise, 5 new DVDs per day, very good quality, I've seen videos from here with bitrates as high as 5,000 and resolution as high as 720.

While talking to a friend about porn, I mentioned the deal you get when you join videobox and I think it was pretty well taken. Imagine going to a store, maybe a video store and they hand you a box with 150 porn DVDs in it and say you can have it for $15. I really don't know many guys that would pass that up, and that is what you get with a videobox subscription. A total of 150 new DVDs per month for $15, and you throw in the oh by the way, you also get access to 6,200 other DVDs too.

If I was a strictly video lover, this would be the only site I would need to join to get those. It is kind of like having an adult video store in your computer.

My one major complaint is the search engine. A good example will use my favorite porn model Eve Angel. Eve rarely appears on DVDs and most are from early in her career, but here are my search results for her on videobox.

Eve Angel search shows 10 scenes.
Actual Eve Angel scenes out of those 10 results was FIVE.

So there was five search results that were not Eve Angel. Now lets add to this, Eve, earlier in her career went by the name Severine, and on a very rare occasion as Seurine. There probably are plenty of fans out there who do not know that she went by those names since many didn't know she did hardcore scenes early in her career under a different name. So, I search the most common spelling as Severine, and get 0 results. I search the rare spelling of Seurine and get 2 results, and both are Eve Angel.

All of her videos on videobox that are hardcore have 5 stars, it would look like to me that someone on their site would at least take the time to move those 2 rare ones under her Eve Angel name, other sites have that have those clips, so VB should as well.

Fetishes and new studios they have added. The great work of Viv Thomas and Private studios now have a combined 113 DVDs on the site now, these are almost exclusively European actresses and that means around 550 new(er) Euro scenes.

Fetish content adds 75 BDSM DVDs, 30 Handjob DVDs, 69 Tranny DVDs, 20 Older (GILF) DVDs, 40 Femdom DVDs and 228 non-specific Fetish DVDs.

I just think VB has set the bar so high that they open themselves to criticism that other sites won't face. My main point in my bottom line is that a 94 might be too low, they do everything they say and with the addition of the varied studios are getting some rare DVDs that are even hard to buy from the actual studios.

If that search engine was better, not so much the engine itself, just the naming of models, this site would probably receive a 4-5 point raise from me and if they didn't tease me with those premium channels, I would probably go 100. Highly recommended!

1. Go for the $14.95, 640x480 vids. Unless you can tolerate lesser resolution videos.

2. When your browsing the site beforehand, make sure you note if the video/scene your interested in is a "VIVID" or "EVIL ANGEL" premium channel. Those channels cost extra, big time. So unless you want to dole out the money for that, you'll be disappointed when a video you thought you were gonna get turns out to be "locked" in those premium upgrades.

Probably temporary, but they are offering a $1.00 3-Day Trial to Pornstar Network (which is Brain Pass: meaning Christine Young, Silverstone, Peternorth Club, Doghouse Digital). -Good description of content for each scene.

-Possible access to some of Evil Angel & Vivid's library(through an upgrade of 17.95 per studio).

Cons:
-Although they offer a large library of studios and movies. I consider that about a 1/3 to 1/2 of these studios offer substandard content or repackaged scenes.

-The tagging of some scenes is incorrect and can lead to improper finds when looking for certain fetishes.

-Although I like the option the possibility to upgrade to both Evil Angel and Vivid's movie page. I consider that only EA's is currently worth the price since many of the movies are recent and a cost 17.95$ for the upgrade. Ot is still much less than actually buying one of the movies on DVD.

Bottom Line:
Videobox is the leader in download porn movie sites. Not only for the shear quantity, but also for the quality of the content. I know that some others are on the rise but they still have far to go before they reach the master.

I know that some have found the cost for the 2 new studios to be high. I do not because I own
one of the movie currently on that section and I paid more than the cost of the upgrade. I don't know if anyone else is aware of this, but EA dvd's are usually 5 to 10$ more than most other studios.

I agree that 17.95$ for Vivid's is too high. In great part because I prefer the older Vivid stuff to the newer one and that is most if the
current content.

I hope that they pay better attention to the tagging of scenes because I have found a couple of errors. Although a slight annoyand now. It will be a significant problem if they keep adding content atr the speed they are now.

I would love for them to add older content that is difficult or impossible to find. I would gladly pay twice as much for acces to material from the 70's and 80's.

I would like to see more studios added to their library, and I wouldn't mind the removal of some of those that I consider of low quality.

I wish I had joined this site a couple of years ago. I would have saved a lot of money that I wasted on streaming sites or in bying dvd's.

This site exceeds all possible comparisons to other sites and is a bargain. The occasional obscure weird vids (midgets, hirsute Japanese, trannie) pop up once in a while but so what? The member review section is new and the members haven't figured out what a "review" is because most postings are more like a chat room than an evaluative discussion of the scene or the video.

Great site, great deal. Go for it!

UPDATE (4/2/09) Bottom Line:

The site continues to have the largest number of videos of any site (over 6,000 at this writing) and add 5 per day which is 1,865 new videos per year.

That may be a contributing factor to the deterioration in model identification. The sloppiness in model identification has really made the site a lot less desirable for me because I see the searchability of a site to be very important.

The introduction of Vivid and Evil Angel productions were added with a lot of fanfare but they hit a serious sour note with many when they belatedly added the rather high supplemental charge to access the videos from these studios.

As mentioned in the "Pro" section, the blog is an excellent interactive forum. Management of the site gets into a lot of substantial discussion with the members which is very good.

I reduced my original score from 97 to 90 for two major reasons.

- The significant increase in the sloppiness in model identification is a major annoyance that hurts the site's value.
- The lack of thought given to the roll-out of the two premium studios. (Had they announced the move along with the cost associated at the outset, the reception would have been a lot better.) In my opinion, the roll-out also took their attention away from their number one mission, and that is their primary offerings.

Once again, photo enthusiasts need not apply. There are none.

No customer service.

New channels are confusing and not adequetly explained for billing purposes. I was automatically billed to my credit card, without intending to subscribe to channels. I still nevr figured out if extra channels are by the day or by the month. When doing a search now thee is extra parameters to filter out unwanted channels.

Bottom Line:
Was a satisfied customer, but not anymore.

Why bother to have channels anyways? They are just a way to give you more of the same.

Pros:
there are three things set this site apart from all others :
-the custom clip option that allows you to download only what you want to see without clogging up your hard drive
- user reviews with each scene. this feature is enjoyable by itself. of course these would be much better if folks would take it more seriously.
- the site will recommend scenes based on what you've looked at and bring up thumbs of related scenes on the page of the scene you are looking at. this makes it much easier to find what you like.

Cons:
The DVDs they post seem to be second rate. By this I mean that the publisher(s)seem to only give them rights to post their DVDs that are not selling well.

No facial category. Need a way to segregate the facial cumshots from the creampies.

Bottom Line:
Without a doubt, the most you can get for your $ in a DVD site. Unique features, massive quantity and low price.

Bottom Line:
I wasn't aware that VideoBox existed a year ago when I came across Porn Users. At that time, I believe it was the top 1 site among PUs but its popularity has recently been dwindling. This is the only DVD site I've ever joined but I believe they do lots of things right. Every PU should join VideoBox at least once.

I've got basically one con: VideoBox metadata is crappy. Google wouldn't be so successful if they indexed the whole Internet but you could only enter a limited set of keywords to find documents or if they left out half the words when indexing. VideoBox should be looking into this because some competitors have also realized that VideoBox metadata and search engine is its weakest asset.

Despite this fact, VideoBox was close to a dream come true for me. During the last couple weeks I decided to look for scenes where the model kept the panties on until the end. Unfortunately, Fetish was the only somewhat useful keyword among the 40 categories. Panties or Clothes keywords would certainly have been welcome because Fetish gave me lots of BDSM which wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

I was forced to browse through the whole collection picking titles here and there that looked promising and using the 6 thumbnails or the streaming option to see if a scene fit the profile. Jumping to other DVDs in the series was easy but director info would have for sure been useful. I eventually came across Intense Industries studio which had lots of them.

I'm no longer a member but still visit VideoBox on a weekly basis. Their free tour works almost exactly like the members area except for the video download and streaming options. I just browse the recent DVDs in my still ongoing quest. Sooner or later, I'll join back.

Pros:
Huge choice of videos going back over 5 years sourced from the best mainstream studios.
Frequent updates.
Excellent range and selection of gorgeous girls and styles.
Great variety of video formats, bitrates and sizes including mobile devices.
Streaming video works very well with excellent navigation.
Older content has been recoded to the highest bit rate of the latest videos - many other sites don't bother to do this.
Excellent navigation and organization of favorites.
User reviews help to give you an idea whether to bother watching or downloading a video you're not sure about.
Can create custom clips (if you feed the need to).
Good download speeds (~200K/sec) and works with my d/l mgr of choice.

Cons:
Poor download speeds (~50k/sec) for smaller clips - I guess the smaller vids are hosted on slower servers/networks?
Sometimes poor download speeds (less than 50K/sec) on some occasions.
Needs a very up to date PC to get the most out of the website - my 8 year old Dell mostly struggled with some things like setting and managing favourites.

Bottom Line:
In light of all the other great reviews, this'll sound boring, but Videobox is an excellent site that's excellent bang for your buck.
The content isn't exclusive but is high quality both technically and in content.
The so-called DVD quality may only be 640x480 but it does scale well to full screen on my widescreen laptop.
Would be nice to see proper HDV.
Would like to see more videos from Private studio.
Overall highly recommended.

Bottom Line:
As a member of Videosz previous to my membership to Videobox, I had the chance to directly compare the two. My first impression was that this site had a less inviting interface. It was rather dull. The size of the library was, and still is, impressive to say the least.

The next thing I saw was the genre-listing. It was all the usual genres, but in my view it was very general after having so many more genres to choose from over at Videosz.

The next I looked for, was how to identify an actress I saw in a clip. With such a large library, it was a decent chance of them having at least one scene and a name to go with that scene. This didn't seem possible as there are no pictures to go with the names in the listings of the stars, and you get too many scenes when choosing a category, without the possibility of compounding categories such as brunette and gangbang to get only scenes with those tags. The only way to compound categories is to first have an actress name, and then go from there. Not really helpful in my opinion.

I recommend this site to everyone who wants to build a pornlibrary of their own, but for porn-seekers like myself who might encounter scenes with unknown actresses without getting the name, this site isn't helpful enough.

This site doesn't work too well with my web-browser Opera either. (See my profile)

Bottom line: A really good site which needs a few upgrades to keep my interest

Cons:
-The mid-range resolution is 480x352, which is not standard 4:3 ratio. Why can't they encode at 480x360?
-They get a good number of actress names wrong or spelled incorrectly, or don't list them at all. And there is no good way to notify the staff to fix it.
-They post transsexual videos on the site, yet they have a separate GayVideoBox site which would be better suited for this content.
-I wish they would add some features to allow users to edit actress names or categories for scenes. VideosZ allows users to edit the tags for a scene.

Bottom Line:
This site is my top site, hands down. The huge library of content, which expands each day, is enough to overcome the cons which I listed above. Eventually, VideosZ will overtake VideoBox in terms of number of DVD's offered (as they are adding a greater number of DVD's per day compared to VideoBox's five per day) but VideoBox will still be #1 in my book because of the download formats. VideoBox offers different quality WMV's, H264 and iPod along with streaming capabilities, while VideosZ offers just high quality (480x360, mind you) DivX and streaming capabilities. Also VideosZ places a "videosz.com" watermark on their videos.

A lot of selections. Download speed is okay. Editing videos are a time and space saver.

Cons:
90s to early 2000 videos. Not all movies have all of the scenes. I rented some of them and noticed some of the scenes were missing. PREMIUM DVD Plan is a joke, a scam not worth it. Resolution for their highest version to the second best are not different.

Also the site seems to have erased some of the best scenes I've ever seen. Too bad.

Bottom Line:
Cancelation was a breeze and I may go back when they've updated their library.

Pros:
+ Almost 5,600 videos available for download (2008/12/01)
+ Videos come in different formats (WMV & MP4) and resolutions from 320*240 up to 640*480 plus you can create custom clips quite easily
+ Regular updates with 5 new videos each and every day
+ This site is download manager friendly
+ Downloaded videos have names that speak e.g. Mature_Women_With_Younger_Girls_6_Scene_3_dvd.wmv
+ Lots of categories to choose from like Teen, MILF, Fetish, Toys etc.
+ Good download speed and no download limit (see text)

Cons:
- Names are only available for female actors
- Some scenes haven't got links to the models
- Older content may not be as crisp as most of the newer stuff
- What the hell is Gonzo? (see text)
- Searching for a particular model may not show all valid results (see text)

Bottom Line:
Even though I'm not a guy that likes videos that much I'm mighty impressed by the enormous size of this monster site. Surfin' there you can easily get lost when clicking one of the links that guide you into other categories or to a list of scenes for one particular model. It will take you lots of hours to get to see only the scenes that you are really after plus there's enough other material that will get your attention.

Sometimes you'll see that model names are not correct e.g. the search for 'rubee tuesday' links to 9 DVDs and the search for 'ruby tuesday' to 1 DVD still it's the same model. This may sound pedantic but that happens for other models, like Druuna 3 DVDs vs. Druna 1 DVD, too and not all will know all synonyms his favourite model uses. Well but that's no reason to give a lower score.

Download speed was constantly above 300KB per connection for me no matter what time I was online. Using 2 parallel downloads I always used up the whole bandwidth for my ADSL-link. They must have real good equipment and excellent admins at videobox.com!

What's definitely missing is DVDs from European companies. dvdbox.com for instance offers some weird stuff from France, Germany, Italy etc. in it's category Euro. Something I'd like to see here too! Another annoyance is the fact that you can only download the front covers of the DVDs plus you need to open the link in a new window or tab of your browers because the cover image is shown in a layer inside the current window.

And what the hell is category Gonzo? 4,327 of 5,596 videos or 77% of all DVDs are in this category. To me this sounds like a bad joke ;-)

All in all I highly recommend to have at least a look at this site but most of us will already have done so. The new scenes I've seen in full resolution looked much better than the old stuff. At $17.95 for the DVD resolution this is a real bargain.

Pros:
Videobox has risen to a faboulous place with still more great content.
None exclusive, by all means, but a pornsite with a zillion clips from videos at the market in general for almost every taste.
Better quality lately, better variation in general.
New standards for later video-quality.
740x480 (sorry: 720x480) fine HD-videos/DVD and streaming
Lower solutions/ipod and one fine item:
Custom Clips - see a part of a scene without having to download it all - GREAT!
Fine download speed.

Cons:
Non exclusive!
Some navigation-problems - still.
Above includes search-problems where you have to use a lot of time to exclude certain search-objects.
No photos.
Massive search made my browser to get into problems? Do not know why.
Too little solo-girl stuff ( for this user).

Bottom Line:
Generally our well know VideoBox has gone to the better - on all items.
I've found a heck of a lot of stuff from speciel interests: A far better and larger variation of latina-videos, great euro-ditto, some very fine teen-stuff and some great video from very rare productions.
VideoBox now has more videos from Private, 3X and the great Combat Zone.
The navigation towards "studios" - or producers are just tops. Way over 100 different producers are at your browsing-service.
But of course, this is a site where you browse through - somewhat - wellknown porn-vids. that for most has been availeble at most shops - but here you just download all you want.
Since I first was a member long time ago, Videobox now has grown into a far better and more attractive site:
First of all the quality of later video (from this year) the quality has grown far better. Formerly I did not care to download socalled HD or DVD-size, because the WMV-high was quite close. (640x480).
But bottom line:
Videobox is with a good price - both standard and DVD - a fine place to do your porn-browsing - now.
I'm much more positive about the site than I was a year ago or so.
Fine improvements here.
Recommended more than ever.

Pros:
I guess I have to start with the obvious, and that is the quantity of the material almost defies belief.

No download restrictions.

There are so many videos, this site in effect, gives you a free preview of anything you wish. It also gives you a chance to check out some videos from producers you haven't tried before.

The way the downloading section is set up is very good. It is perfect for knowing what section or sections of a video you want to download. It would be perfect for downloading from any category on any site, that has nothing to do with porn. The way the stills are set out makes it so easy. I love the simplicity of the downolading too.

They do break up the categories for you, and you can view the videos depending on date or popularity, which is handy. I like the look and way things are set out. Considering the volume of material I think it's about as simple and friendly a system as you could have,

Cons:
There is very little worthwhile fetish material. There are one or two interesting items, but that's about it.

There are very few videos from genuine independents. It all looks the same, even though they have videos from a great number of producers. There are one or two exceptions to this, but 95 per cent could all be from the same company.

As with most teen and amateur stuff, it starts off with the usual feigned surprise or naive innocent looks, to suggest they've never done anything like this before, and within 2 minutes they're at it as though all they've done for the last 10 years is have sex on camera. I strongly suspect that some of them may not be trainee rocket scientists or brain surgeons.

Digging out the gems from so much material can be time consuming.

No photos. Not so good if you like downloading pics.

Their highest "DVD" bit rate is really only average.

Ridiculously low download speeds between 4(!)kb/sec and 70 kb/sec.

Bottom Line:
Remember when you were a kid, and you dreamed of owning a sweet shop. Video Box is that sweet shop. I've never grown tired of chocolate or sweets, and I've never got tired of porn.

There is so much on here, that it's a little mean spirited to suggest it's time consuming trying to dig out the gems. It can sometimes be fun to just browse. You can stumble upon something that you maybe wouldn't have bothered with. The good thing is, it's so cheap you can download 10 worthless videos, and have wasted no money at all. It means you can virtually try out stuff for free. If your taste is for vanilla, straight sex videos, there is enough here to keep you satisfied for just about the rest of your life.

The big weakness for me, is the lack of fetish material, but then when you look at the price, it's hardly surprising. It is a negative, but realistically, if this site had newer videos, and more specialised categories, the price would be triple what it is. But yes, this is the big weakness - too much old stuff, and too much of the same thing, with little variation. It's like a warehouse of cheap videos.

I linked to Video Box from Paysite Discounts, which means $3 off the $17.95 price. I'm surprised TBP don't have this offer, given how popular Video Box is with their people.

I don't wish to be too negative with the negatives, or too positive with the positives, but I have tried to be objective. I know Video Box is very popular with this site. Rightly so. I have to say I think it's still good value. The amount of very good straight sex videos, arranged in a way so that they are easy to download, from a well set out customer oriented site, means I would recommend this to anyone as their very first porn site.

I am not going to tilt too far into the negative because of VERY slow download speeds for me. I cancelled my subscription a few hours after joining because the download speed is so painfully slow I have to be very selective what I download. This undermines the advantage of the enormous amount of material there is on there. I know some of you do have problems with download speed where others have no problems at all.

I will just add that I was down to 4kb/sec on some newer videos, but the speed on the older videos is between 30-70 kb/sec. This may be what the problem is. The newer more popular videos are being downloaded by more people, therefore the speeds are slower. I'll leave it to you tech boffins to comment on that. In fact after attempting to download a number of videos and monitoring the speed, I found nearly all the newer ones were much slower than the older ones.

I wont mark down too much, because the speed may just be my problem. I have never had speeds as slow as this before on any site though. I know this review wont go down to well at TBP because you all love Video Box. It's just what I have found.

As a late edit - I have found some speeds on older videos of up to 300kb/sec. That is some variation! 4kb/sec-300kb/sec
