Another sad day here, too.

I recently rejoined ATK Hairy (foolishly, despite reading recent comments here).

I was doing some studying, and got in the mood to look at some naked chicks. After logging in and browsing ATK Hairy some, I started getting into the mood to study again. I'm about to turn off my computer to go study, instead of getting off to porn.

Good for me. Not so good for ATK Hairy.

The ATK Empire is still great, and the new Hairy site layout is still impressive, but I only like a few standout girls on ATK Hairy right now. To each his own, but like someone here mentioned earlier: the users comments at ATK Hairy say it all. One dude was raving about a girl's peach-fuzz mustache - I kid you not! People will complain about girls only having bushes. It's bizarre.

I'll break it down, because I don't want to complain without giving specifics. It's all opinion, of course.

1.) The Eastern Euro chicks are just as generic and skippable here, and look far from natural. Too model-y. And too often the photography of them just sucks.

2.) Too much Sean R. Way overrated. His girls have become more garish on this site, as well.

3.) I believe there are naturally-beautiful girls, and there are girls that are ho-hum. That's just the way of the world. Lately at ATK Hairy, if a girl is hairy, it doesn't matter if she's ho-hum - she gets automatic entry.

4.) Too many of these girls have long, lifeless, drab hairdos. Especially the non-American girls. I like short hair, and I like long hair. I do NOT like unstyled hair. Someone call Stacy and Clinton on some of these chicks. Salons are not a bad thing. If I wanted it that natural, I would jerk off to Nat. Geo.

5.) A lot of the newer photographers that have lately made ATK Galleria and Exotics extra enjoyable don't even have a presence on ATK Hairy. That can't help things, IMHO. I seriously doubt that all those photographers are anti-pubic hair. Is it because they take pictures of girls that are worth looking at?

6.) Too much hair-frenzy.

So, that's the bad, and it's starting to monolopize that site. I wish they struck a better balance with the things I do like about the site:

1.) The photographers Atomic W., Angela W., BMB, Afterglow, R. Field. They usually find cute girls. If it weren't for them, I'd never join the site.

2.) Yes, I like the young, trendy, American, porn-nubile look. But I also like the cute, bookstore, future grad-student look. ATK Hairy used to excel at this. Now I wonder if they're conceding to the hair-freaks and shying away from this.

I hate to be critical, but hopefully it was constructive. Time to hit the books.

A Sad Day

I actually cancelled my membership here.
Whilst there has been the odd time in the past I have let it lapse due to financial constraints, this is the first time I have cancelled through choice.

It is actually a relief.

I was getting to dread looking at most of the updates, both in terms of the models used & the gynaecological photography.

Time was it was a taseful site with truly natural usually amateur ladies displaying eroticism.

Unfortunately, times have changed & not for the better.

Multiple Site Membership Discounts?

I'm taking it that Advent will read this! ;0)Now there are a quite a few different sites in the network, how about offering discounted membership on additional sites?

I am not just talking about a package deal on all sites, I'm thinking how about a sliding scale of additional discount based on the number of ATK sites you currently hold membership to?
I can see it might not be viable but I think it would be a good angle to increase membership across the sites.

Still no custom zips.

Despite a major revamp, user defined zips have still not made an appearance.
A shame, because I like most of the revamp.
A choice of full set zip sizes is an improvement, but not really what I am looking for.

And another thing that surprises me!

I am at a loss to understand the many subscribers who downgrade a set from this site because it doesn't feature enough leg-, arm-, pit-, belly-, buttock hair!

This is one of the advantages of having a comments section now, you get to find out how your fellow users feel about a particular set or video and it sure makes me once again an outsider.

I suggested today that maybe the site should be renamed ATK Scary Hairy because more than 50% of today's 8 updates featured body hair other than the pubes. Who in tarnation would find a hairy leg exciting? Well, in this case, almost EVERYONE, it seems.

I am sure I will get the required thumbs down in the site from the body hair lovers so that my comment will disappear because the "community" disapproved of my scathing remarks. Argh, I guess that's democracy! :-) And I was being provocative and judgmental, I'm afraid, so I'll deserve being shunned!

Still .. hairy legs as a turn on? Who would have ever thunk it?

Still A Big Yawn!

All that talk of changed lay-outs and bigger pictures made me subscribe once again. I really wish I would stop doing things on a whim because what good is a bigger picture if the set is mind numbingly boring. Each model seems to be basically in drab outerwear, with maybe a bikini panty for lingerie if one is lucky, and that's it. Three days back, 24 picture sets later and not one of them could be called erotic. Wish I had looked a bit more closely at the poster's comments below mine! Another wasted subscription.

Recent changes

Over the last couple of weeks, ATKHairy has started to increase picture sizes, and from a few photographers/studios they are of good quality, but most are still of a disappointing that does not do justice to the girls, and the sets and scenes are still repetitive and mostly boring.
The default pics now are too big to view comfortably on a monitor (even my 27" Dell) so are really not that useful, and with the poor depth of focus and digital artifacts (from too much jpeg compression?) they really are not worth viewing at their full resolution.
Videos are now sometimes available in more up-to-date formats, with the old WMV, and now SD MP4 nd HD MP4 formats available. Many of the links to the new formats do not work - as if they intended to put the files up, but something went wrong. Gradually improving though. Typical sizes from today's update: WMV 156MB, SD 189MB, HD 564MB to give you an idea. I have tried a few of the SD and HD videos, and they are a big improvment, but like the photographers, the videographers seem to be mostly just not quite expert enough to get the best out of the girls.

Most male orgasms in the "action" photo shoots are fake, very odd in a site that claims to be "natural"!

Overall, the better quality is an improvement, but it would be good to see fewer sets of pics and better quality, and videos that really get the best out of the girls.

My Intentions Were Good ...

... I had been away from this site for quite a few months and found when I returned a handful of sets and models that really appealed to me, but now that I am well into the second week of the present subscription gloom settles on me once again as I contemplate one poorly costumed, poorly done picture set after the other offered in the daily updates.

They are so incredibly hum-drum, mostly with models to match, that only a newbie could possibly find them exciting. I could drop my review score even further but am tired of fiddling with it, so for old times sake, when this was a glorious site, I am going to leave it alone. But, man, what a disappointment.

Where are all the good photographers, the ones who don't make a set look like screen caps when it comes to pictures, with one looking the same as the one before it and the one after, page after page, set after set.

And when will their videos finally come into the 21st Century? I am very disappointed in connection with the downfall of a site once rated by me as one of my "most favorite porn sites!" I would be so happy to make a more positive comment because of the fond memories I have of better days .. let's hope that down the road I'll be able to do so once again.

Nov. 13, 2010:

I just downgraded my review to 70 because during the past 13 updates containing 104 picture sets only FIVE were voted as being "hot" by the subscribers. Only one set was rated hot by me and I even deleted that one after having a more thorough look.

It's Not Improving...

Just finished another month on Hairy. It's getting even more repetitive; how many identical sets of the same model can a guy sit through, no matter how nice she is? Just when you think a model has gone away, she comes back a couple of months later for yet more endless sets of the same poses.

Sadly, Sean R remains the only photographer turning in sets with pro quality. All the others are either falsely-sharpened, have bad depth of field, bad lighting, or the images are overcompressed, giving unrealistic images.

And the models? A few occasional cuties, but still too many bizarre tattooed skanks with body piercings and weird makeup.

Another cancellation

I've just canceled my membership on this site too after pretty much 5 years continuous membership. As many others have commented, it has become very repetitive with the same girls shot by the same photographers every two or three days. In days of old it used to be 7-10 days before you saw the same girl twice.
It has also moved more mainstream recently - Aria Giovanni is on here these days. Nothing against her, she's a gorgeous woman, but hardly an "amateur".
And finally my old favourite Sean R. seems to have lost his mojo. As I put in my review on here a while back he used to shoot the most fantastic close-up gaping pussy shots, but he's not quite so up close and personal any more.
Any finally, finally! still don't bother with the video!

I joined this site a few years back and enjoyed what I saw - except for the fact that I had to play with video editting to join clips together. In this day and age, I think that's just too old school. So, assuming the information on TBP is up to date and they're not already online, I hope ATK is considering putting full-length video up.

Just Canceled My Membership After Over 8 Years

After 8 years of constant subscription, I canceled my membership to ATK Hairy at the end of my billing month. Why you may ask?

Not because I think the site sucks.
Not because I am unhappy with customer service.

Factors contributing to my leaving are the following.
(1) After being a long-term subscriber I realized that there was no real incentive or discount for loyalty. I can always rejoin.
(2) A BIG reason is the site doesn't have as many American girl next door types as they used to. I generally do not like the Eastern European models and near-pro models. I like amateurs and hairy ladies that the site purports to get. Get more and I will come back.
(3) No interactive user forum for sharing comments.
(4) Some of their most used photographers are not that good and too tame. For example of two extremes - T. Mayes is lame, Sean R. is great.

I will use the money to subscribe to other sites and review them and if they suck worse, I'll be back to ATK Hairy.

Grossly Overrated!

I am a four time subscriber to this site and my latest subscription leaves me immensely disappointed. The models have become second rate, the photography is repetitious and boring and the videos are still far from acceptable. I downloaded seven of one of my favorite models the other day and five were unwatchable in both wmv and mov formats. The support specialist has promised to have them fixed within the next 48 hours but with a bit of care there shouldn`t have been a need to fix them in the first place.

Out of the last three updates, which to their credit have always been huge, I've downloaded ONE set of pictures. My main pleasure has been to grade the picture sets with a one or two out of five points. No doubt personal preferences might have a lot to do with my complaint because most models this morning received the designation hot. Go figure, maybe cotton and wool and denim are considered hot nowadays.

Sets: Outdoors, indoors. Lighting very good.
Direction: Good. Being a female photographer gives her a different perspective. You can tell that the models look comfortable and ready to do what asked. Her framing of shots is excellent.
Face Shots: excellent
Body Shots: excellent
Crotch Shots: Very good
Ass Shots: Very good
Explicit close-ups: good
Overall: A strong photographer.

PKM (80)
Models: Americans. Very similar selection as Alicia S. More to the glam style, lots of make-up.
Sets: Definitely stages areas, indoors, lighting good
Direction: Almost glam style. Lots of dildo stuff. Gets them to pose ok.
Face Shots: good
Body Shots: good
Crotch Shots: good
Ass Shots: good
Explicit close-ups: ok, could use more.
Overall: Good work. I have to wonder what the relation between Alicia, PKM and HMB is. Very similar. Shared models�. Hmmmm

Riley Williams/RWL (90 � 5 = 85)
Models: Americans from the Pacific Northwest. Very many GND types. Mostly college gals. Wide range of sizes, shapes, colors. He recently returned from a break for a couple of years. His later models tend to be overweight.
Sets: Outdoors, indoors. Lighting very good.
Direction: Excellent. He is a master of posing the models and getting the shots he want. Models always look comfortable and ready to do what asked. He also needs to increase from the scant 70-80 shots per set he provides (-5)
Face Shots: excellent
Body Shots: excellent
Crotch Shots: excellent
Ass Shots: poor to good
Explicit close-ups: very good. He used to do peeing sets, but seems to have stopped this. In general he seems a bit tamer than he was in the early 2000�s
Overall: An American master. He needs to upgrade his model stack a little, but he has the skills. I personally wish he would get more ass shots that were not from a weird angle. Be direct now and then.

Models: Russians. His models are cute, but have too much Russian porn-star in them and lack realness. Pros and Ams.
Sets: Moslty indoors. Lighting good.
Direction: good. Not very innovative and his poses are boring.
Face Shots: very good
Body Shots: good , mostly at distance
Crotch Shots: poor
Ass Shots: poor
Explicit close-ups: poor , some peeing shots
Overall: Roman is typical of Russian porn. There is a sterile quality and the models do not generate much life as compared to J Ant. Much of the posing is from a distance and there are far too few explicit shots.

Robin W./RWA (80)
Models: United Kingdom. Nice mixture of looks, ages and sizes. Typically shoots the same gals as Sean R.
Sets: Mostly indoors, good lighting
Direction: Very good. Gets them to pose ok. Could be more versatile. Models seem comfortable. Good with a camera
Face Shots: Very good
Body Shots: Very good
Crotch Shots: good

Explicit close-ups: generally poor
Overall: Good models. It is nice to have a different perspective on the same models that Sean R uses. Robin is much more tame and not very explicit. Score would be better if he included some more ass shots and was a little more explicit.

Sean R. (95)
Models: United Kingdom. Nice mixture of looks, ages and sizes. A whole lot of variety from freaks & skanks to moms to GDN types.
Sets: Mostly Indoors. Lighting Outstanding
Direction: Excellent. This guy knows how to get the models to pose to get the shots he wants. At the same time, the models seem comfortable.
Face Shots: very good
Body Shots: poor. Rarely shows good shots of the breasts and full body shots.
Crotch Shots: Excellent
Ass Shots: Excellent, he is one of the few that can really frame a female ass and associated nether regions to get the greatest shots.
Explicit close-ups: Excellent
Overall: The premier ATK photographer today. Lots of shots, lots of poses. He knows how to frame a shot and get the right lighting. Others should sit up and take some lessons from Sean. He is a master at explicit photography. His weakness is that he universally fails to take many pictures of the models full bodies and breasts. Yes, they are there, but you have to look at a lot of shots to get an idea of what their bodies, in total look like.

Tom Mayes TMI (75 � 5 = 70)
Models: Americans. Nice variety of models. Plenty of GND-types.
Sets: Outdoors, indoors. Lighting very good.
Direction: poor. Not very innovative and his poses are boring. He seems to be afraid to get close to the models so his work feels distant, cold. A lost opportunity here. He also needs to increase from the scant 75-80 shots per set he provides (-5)
Face Shots: very good
Body Shots: good, but everything looks like he shot from across the room. Get closer, they don�t bite (unless you are lucky)
Crotch Shots: poor
Ass Shots: poor, none. Doesn�t seem to think this perspective is too important.
Explicit close-ups: poor / none
Overall: He has room for improvement. His older work was better.

Vladimir Fillit VLF (80)
Models: Russians. Very cute selection. A little bit too pro and glam. You would not confuse these with Americans.
Sets: Definitely stages areas, indoors, lighting good
Direction: Gets them to pose ok. Wide variety from standing, laying down, sitting
Face Shots: very good
Body Shots: very good
Crotch Shots: very good
Ass Shots: good
Explicit close-ups: good, more spread shots would be nice
Overall: Good work, would rate higher if he tried to get more shots from behind

Walter K (WAK) (85)
Models: Russians. Very cute selection with nice variety. A little bit too pro and glam. You would not confuse these with Americans.

Direction: Gets them to pose ok. Wide variety from standing, laying down, sitting

Sloppy Editing?

There are still huge 15+ page photosets being uploaded in a single zip, with no smaller selected download zips.

Often the shots on an entire thumbnail page would be adequately covered by about 3 shots.

Ideally if there is to be no custom zip option as there is on other sites, I would like to see the zip size limited to about 5-6 pages.

After over 2 years continuous membership, I am close to cancelling because of this issue.

Hardcore an improvement

As of Christmas time, ATK finally started adding hardcore content to the site. LONG OVERDUE.

Now if they would get some hotter girls to grow out their pubic hair for the site, that would get the rating back to the top.

One Opinion: Going Hardcore Wasn't the Answer

I'd joined this site almost two years ago. Wasn't too thrilled by a lot of the women, though a few were really hot.

Then I recently got an offer to rejoin for $20. I see they've started adding hardcore as of Dec. last year.

Frankly, I don't think that step was as critical as simply getting better looking women. Having gone through their archives, I feel I've done it mostly for Queen and Country.

Older doesn't bother me, to a point at least, but fat and/or shriveled just ain't what I'm after. And there are a couple of girls in there, young ones, who would have looked nice had they not apparently had a head-on collision with a hardware store (face piercings).

Messmer's right in his review that the photographers produce sets that could be clones of each other. Being an ass man, I was disppointed that the recent Michelle from Hungary, a very hot girl, never got to show her goods the way Josi, another dynamo, was able to. Who (or which robot) did the shooting made all the difference.

"Toby" is probably my favorite photographer there. "Atomic W" does OK sometimes.

I feel I got my money's worth, thanks to my waiting so long and their generous discount. But as I was saying, ugly-solo isn't going to be improved upon by ugly-likes-duckies.

There's no other ATK site that has this problem, generally speaking. Why it does at all is beyond me.

I really liked this site, as I am a fan of natural hairy women. My only complaint is that there is a lot of overlap between this site and ATKexotics. It is not worthwhile to join both sites.

I just rejoined ATK Natural & Hairy...and discovered two old favorites are no longer there: Florence and Fawn. Ouch....but, this is still a great site! For those of us who like the '70's look, this is THE place.

ATK Hairy have hardcore yet?

Hey guys, looking to see if anyone is a current member of ATK Hairy and if they have started adding any boy/girl hardcore photos or movies to the site as of yet?

I joined All Hairy because they had hardcore hairy content, but the site just doesn't stack up to the quality of ATK Hairy so I am considering joining the site once my membership to Galleria expires. I hope they have started adding hardcore as I never understood why it was never part of the site in the first place. I see they have hairy hardcore in Galleria, but would prefer not to be a member of both sites at the same time to get what I want with hairy girls.

Annoying Videos

I was watching one of the latest video updates this evening and had to turn off the sound before I could enjoy it because the videographer was such a clumsy, insecure Klutz when it came to establishing rapport with the model. Rarely has a pretty girl. Sometimes has a "scary hairy" model, and you better beware, cuz believe me, it's shocking! Leg hair, armpit hair...yuck.
