I found the change very frustrating myself 2 Free K, as you well know, so I understand your vigilante tendencies in connection with this site. We have a saying that "the squeakiest wheel gets the grease" and I guess all the lovers of freak shows got the grease in this case because they kept demanding stuff that got more and more extreme until the site caved in to their demands.

I think your idea of having two separate hairy sites makes a great deal of sense and sure wish they would do exactly that. But I won't hold my breath. :-)

This site has brought out the vigilante in me. They will not change until they start losing $$$. I will scream it from the mountaintops - "Don't join ATK Hairy unless you wanna see a few cute girls and a bunch of freaks"!

Bad economy = tons of cute girls ready to get nekkid, and tons of porn-fiends who can't afford to look at ug-chicks. This should be a no-fail operation. How are they screwing this up??

Thanks, man. I'm glad you spoke up about it first - I just wish I had listened. :) I had gotten one of those $20 email offers, I hadn't subscribed in a while, and there were a few chicks who had some new sets.

But even that wasn't worth it. With this being the beginning of the month - I just paid rent, and I'm wishing I hadn't even spent the $20, or at least spent it on better porn. It's sad.

Another sad day here, too.

I recently rejoined ATK Hairy (foolishly, despite reading recent comments here).

I was doing some studying, and got in the mood to look at some naked chicks. After logging in and browsing ATK Hairy some, I started getting into the mood to study again. I'm about to turn off my computer to go study, instead of getting off to porn.

Good for me. Not so good for ATK Hairy.

The ATK Empire is still great, and the new Hairy site layout is still impressive, but I only like a few standout girls on ATK Hairy right now. To each his own, but like someone here mentioned earlier: the users comments at ATK Hairy say it all. One dude was raving about a girl's peach-fuzz mustache - I kid you not! People will complain about girls only having bushes. It's bizarre.

I'll break it down, because I don't want to complain without giving specifics. It's all opinion, of course.

1.) The Eastern Euro chicks are just as generic and skippable here, and look far from natural. Too model-y. And too often the photography of them just sucks.

2.) Too much Sean R. Way overrated. His girls have become more garish on this site, as well.

3.) I believe there are naturally-beautiful girls, and there are girls that are ho-hum. That's just the way of the world. Lately at ATK Hairy, if a girl is hairy, it doesn't matter if she's ho-hum - she gets automatic entry.

4.) Too many of these girls have long, lifeless, drab hairdos. Especially the non-American girls. I like short hair, and I like long hair. I do NOT like unstyled hair. Someone call Stacy and Clinton on some of these chicks. Salons are not a bad thing. If I wanted it that natural, I would jerk off to Nat. Geo.

5.) A lot of the newer photographers that have lately made ATK Galleria and Exotics extra enjoyable don't even have a presence on ATK Hairy. That can't help things, IMHO. I seriously doubt that all those photographers are anti-pubic hair. Is it because they take pictures of girls that are worth looking at?

6.) Too much hair-frenzy.

So, that's the bad, and it's starting to monolopize that site. I wish they struck a better balance with the things I do like about the site:

1.) The photographers Atomic W., Angela W., BMB, Afterglow, R. Field. They usually find cute girls. If it weren't for them, I'd never join the site.

2.) Yes, I like the young, trendy, American, porn-nubile look. But I also like the cute, bookstore, future grad-student look. ATK Hairy used to excel at this. Now I wonder if they're conceding to the hair-freaks and shying away from this.

I hate to be critical, but hopefully it was constructive. Time to hit the books.

No offense taken at all! You're probably right, once I thought about it. The technology I'm use at the moment is still a few years old, and when I think about how often I look at old sets from early-to-mid 2000s, I realize it's not very often - due to the size. I should probably start downloading the hi-res, and just find a viewer that makes it easier to set the magnification level. You have a very good point!

I just got back off holiday.

To answer you question, it isn't quite as simple as that.

The emphasis has shifted from basically softcore material of natural, often amateur women, to a lot more explicit, less erotic material of tattooed women with hair everywhere, not just the pubic area, which was the original concept of the site.

I actually cancelled my membership here.
Whilst there has been the odd time in the past I have let it lapse due to financial constraints, this is the first time I have cancelled through choice.

It is actually a relief.

I was getting to dread looking at most of the updates, both in terms of the models used & the gynaecological photography.

Time was it was a taseful site with truly natural usually amateur ladies displaying eroticism.

Unfortunately, times have changed & not for the better.

This might be a little different. But there are times when I stay away from an ATK sight for awhile, then I would go back in case there was anything new. But I would hesitate about which ATK sight to join because I'm afraid of being disappointed. If there was some kind of 2 sites for 1 deal, or maybe an extra 5 bucks for second site - there's a better chance that I would bite. Because most of the time I would just shy away, and I never pay for more than one site per month, I only get a membership maybe once every 3-4 months.

While this is a great idea it would be hard to implement with the different billing companies we use and such.

We are currently working on an idea that would give our members a chance to earn free memberships, discounted members and other items of interest.

We have been doing a lot of work with N&H lately as most of you can tell. We are still working on some new features that are in testing and should be released in a couple weeks. This is just one of the things we are working on for the further enjoyment of our members.

I am not just talking about a package deal on all sites, I'm thinking how about a sliding scale of additional discount based on the number of ATK sites you currently hold membership to?

Thanks, Greg. I am happy to see that I have company because, judging by the majority of the comments at ATK, "Scary Hairy" is in and is even being encouraged and promoted by ATK Owner. Maybe people got tired of ordinary hairy and are now going for the extreme. I am not condemning this site for it, if scary is becoming their bread and butter then so be it.

But at the same time, as I told others, I also wanted to warn those who might be turned off by the excess hair, and the tattoos and piercings you mention, not to go there. The 85 might fool some folks so I hope they read the review carefully.

As to the regular sets, I find them basically bland except for SeanR's but even there I have a problem with all the make up he puts on his models.

I hope that ATK are reading this, because so many of us loyal members of their site are now pretty pissed off that so many of the girls are like circus freaks with gorilla hair everywhere, tattoos and piercings all over their bodies,too. ATK have a category called "Scary Hairy." These types of women should appear there only.

While we're on the subject, one GOOD thing about the new comment feature is that ATK gets to hear how bad its members feel about the amateur quality of the photography (Sean R excepted.) So much of it is badly lit, badly focused, and not especially well resolved, despite the larger image sizes now.

Before you take the plunge I must warn you, though: if heavy leg hair or underarm hair should be a problem for you, don't do it! As you can see by my review of the site, I'm not keen on leg hair, underarm hair I can tolerate, and this will really be the last time I subscribe.

The high rating is as objective as I can make it, it is meant as a guide for those who like extreme hair, but the body of the review also wants to inform the more moderate lovers of hair that this site has become more extreme. Hi Elephant, thanks for the tip. Regrettably the only two of the sites of this company I subscribed to let me down badly when it came to the picture sets. I found their Super Hi Res photos way too soft and airbrushed (I think that's what it is called). In the case of art-lingerie I only downloaded their videos for that reason. In the case of Only Tease there was really nothing very much that appealed to me. Two lingerie sites that have appealed to me the most in the past are Vintage Flash and Suburban Amateurs.

There was one other site I liked very much but their emphasis has changed as well, so it no longer appeals to me. In any case, as I stated in some other place, "hairy" is no longer quite so important to me. I seem to have gotten used to the shaved look. I didn't feel slighted, Capn. The word would be "ignored," at least when it comes to a set that would cater to my taste once in a while! The community gave me five thumbs down (which hides my comment) because I wrote one comment to the effect: anyone ever hear of silk or nylon, or a full set of lingerie, or stockings or garter belts?

The emphasis is way too much on grunge and hippiedom .. tattoos, piercings, dreadlocks, everything cotton. I am willing to co-exist harmoniously with those who have tastes different from mine but at ATK I am being shut out, period. Once again not one set in days that appealed to me. I just got irate because there are so many members of that site now that will leave comments like, "too bad the model had to shave her legs .. pits ... etc. This could have been a good set!" I am at a loss to understand the many subscribers who downgrade a set from this site because it doesn't feature enough leg-, arm-, pit-, belly-, buttock hair!

This is one of the advantages of having a comments section now, you get to find out how your fellow users feel about a particular set or video and it sure makes me once again an outsider.

I suggested today that maybe the site should be renamed ATK Scary Hairy because more than 50% of today's 8 updates featured body hair other than the pubes. Who in tarnation would find a hairy leg exciting? Well, in this case, almost EVERYONE, it seems.

The first three updates (24 sets) I faced after re-subscribing were really shocking, Cap'n. My hopes that things had improved in the new year with a new lay-out and bigger pictures were quickly dashed when I saw all those girls in everyday outfits with practically no lingerie, with so many of the pictures looking once again like the the one before it and the one after. Is it really necessary to have almost a whole page of naked bottoms with only a tiny difference between each picture, as one example?

Everyday clothing isn't necessarily bad, but Gawd, couldn't they at least wear something nice and sexy underneath. But maybe I shall be pleasantly surprised tomorrow and see at least three updates that will appeal to my taste. Huh!!

BTW, too bad our friend, who shall remain nameless, seems to have chosen to follow the same route. I find it awfully hard to get excited about any of his latest updates either. Slim pickings for "hair" lovers these days.

All that talk of changed lay-outs and bigger pictures made me subscribe once again. I really wish I would stop doing things on a whim because what good is a bigger picture if the set is mind numbingly boring. Each model seems to be basically in drab outerwear, with maybe a bikini panty for lingerie if one is lucky, and that's it. Three days back, 24 picture sets later and not one of them could be called erotic. Wish I had looked a bit more closely at the poster's comments below mine! Another wasted subscription.

Thanks 2 Free K, I have taken a very nervous step in the meantime and have resubscribed against my better judgment because I couldn't resist seeing the new lay-out as well as the bigger pictures. This site used to be my favorite, that might explain why I keep hoping and going back.

Initial impression: very disappointing. The updates since I resubscribed have been incredibly boring and I have already left comments on the site regarding the photographers' lack of imagination. The new lay-out is fine but I really wish they would do away with the way they "store" their updates.

As to the big pictures, I don't understand your reluctance to download them and I am saying this without the slightest wish to be confrontational. I have found that every picture viewer like Irfan View etc. allows you to adjust your settings so that even the biggest picture will not take up more space than the size of your screen.

I agree with you that if you wish to see the large pictures in full size you'll have to do quite a bit of scrolling so I very seldom watch them that way, but why not download the latest, this way .. down the road .. you won't have to delete pictures left and right because they are hopelessly outdated.

I just got finished deleting tons of pictures whose dimensions were less than 800x600 because they no longer looked good and will, most likely, delete the 800x600 ones next. With pictures now at 2000x3000 and even higher it'll be quite a few years until they become obsolete.

@ Messmer - sorry for the delay. If you haven't been on in a while, I'd suggest checking it out - they've probably acquired a few sets worth collecting. I don't recall any big changes regarding the undressing procedure. I feel the same as you - I hate it when they're nude ASAP. I think Sean R still draws it out the longest (although I wish he didn't have such a monopoly on the UK cutie dept).

Regarding the bigger photos, I never use them. They're too big (at least for my screen). If you're viewing on a T.V. they might be useful, but on a standard monitor you end up having to scroll too much. Luckily ATK quickly realized that, so they provide several viewing and download options.

Anytime. I must add, too, that I appreciate the effort you've been putting into making the ATK sites as good as possible. Great customer service, great interviews, and great value for the dollar - keep it up! Karups and Nubiles try to cop your style, but ATK gives so much more, thus my allegiance is strong. The old folks have Playboy, I have ATK.
