Recent color change makes some things hard to discern

I noticed recently that the thumbs up/down, favorite, hide and comment icons, which are all next to each other, has been changed.

Previously it was black and red and the colors would invert when selected (black becomes red, red becomes black).

Now it is white and red. When selected it becomes... a slightly brighter red and white. I have a hard time telling the difference.

Hopefully this is changed back soon

Add-On Question

Long story short: I got a good annual deal for Evil Angel that renews at the same cost. They are offering a "lifetime" membership (as long as I subscribe to EA) for Adulttime as a one-time fee. I like both networks and the price is good, but want to know if anyone has any experience with the add-ons either with these sites or others.

In praise of crazy-ass porn

There was weird crazy porn in the 70's, but it was mainly unpleasant - I remember one film I saw at a Pussycat Cinema where Jamie Gillis played a guy who would break into women's houses & perform enemas on them. Evil Angel Changing Their Identity?

Watching the scenes being released from the "I am Riley" DVD, it strikes me that these scenes could have been released by another studio. There's no concentration on extreme anal stuff or gaping or anything particularly outre. And the same could be said of the Cam Girls stuff that Evil Angel did earlier this year. Is it a sign of Evil Angel maturing? Or relaxing? Or not worrying about whether they are doing everything in a way that fits a certain mold? I dunno. Some people might not like it at all. Me, I'm happy about it. I want to see Evil Angel do what they want to do and just make good porn of various types with no obligation for gape scenes or other stunt work.

Although TBP's Evil Angel discount says that it's a recurring discount of $9.95/month, that is not what Evil Angel is actually delivering. I just signed up through TBP's link and I got 1 month at $9.95, recurring at $39.95/month. Quite a difference!

I was able to get into Evil Angel with my 21sextury log in. it is part of Gamma Entertainment and therefore accessible because of Adult Time. Thjs is not listed in the channels or networks lineup on Adult Time and the videos cannot be searched from the Adult Time webpage.

More Fun, Unique Stuff From Evil Angel

It's always cool to see an established studio/site do something new. Evil Angel is doing something I've never seen done before with their new "Cam Girls: The Movie," a "docu-porn" hybrid of backstage reality segments, candid interviews and four new, hardcore scenes. They start out with candid/reality tv type stuff introducing the 2 experienced cam girls, who are coming to LA to do their first professional shoots, then they have 4 different pro scenes directed by various Evil Angel directors. Added Obstacle To Seeing Trans Content

If I remember correctly, there was a time when Evil Angel displayed all of their content - if you didn't like certain content, you ignored it. Then they put the check box there to see Trans/Shemale content - you clicked the box, you saw all of their content. They have now added another obstacle to seeing Trans content.

To start off, they don't display it. If you want to see Trans or bi content, you have to click those boxes. You click the boxes, nothing changes. Now you have to click the box or boxes that you want them to display the content of, reload the page and only then will it show you the content that had been left out originally. Perhaps they have found that a lot of their members are hostile to that content and even if they click the box in error, they're horrified if they see content they hadn't wanted to see.

Downloads not all using meaningful names

Anyone else having getting numbers for filenames on about a third of their downloads?

I use Waterfox, which is an offshoot of Firefox from before they killed extensions. I use it so I can continue to use the extension Downthemall which doesn't work on the new versions of Firefox.

The names I'm getting are similar to what they used to use for filenames a couple of years ago before they changed things to have meaningful names.

I'll try a different browser and/or download manager, but I'm hoping it's temporary.

Warning About Billing

I have just this second posted this in the comments for xEmpire.com, so figured may as well post it for EvilAngel too as it affects both sites. But it's just a heads up warning about the Billing processor for EvilAngel.com / xEmpire.com. It seems likely this will be affecting all sites with the "TrustCharge" billing processor.

On signing up for the site. I have been using a UK Mastercard. On clicking submit I get an error message saying the following;

"Your purchase attempt has failed. Unfortunately, the transaction was declined. It seems that the credit card you have used is not accepted by our banks at the moment.

Click here to use a different credit card"

It seems to totally error out wanting you to put a different card number in. However, this is not true, they are actually taking the money from my card that first time. However further, trying to put your username and password will not work either. What you need to do is go onto the live chat with the billing processor and complain that they have actually took the money off you, and they need to manually activate your username and password when they confirm this on their side. Do not use a different credit card in as you will be billed twice. It seems very shifty that they are doing this as people would not know they've been billed twice if they did try a different card after getting that error.

Browsing (not downloading) seems to have gotten slower lately

I'm finding that browsing the site seems slower nowadays than it used to be. Downloads go at about the same rate as they used to, but going from page to page seems to take longer. Maybe it's because I use Firefox or maybe it's something to do with my set-up or location.

Anyone else feel the site is slower for navigating than it used to be?

dodgy as fuck site, payment wise

I was hesitant for quite a while to subscribe to EA.
Now I said fuck it and just went for it, I mean 10 bucks for the first month isn't that bad, right? The recurring fees at 39 bucks where quite reasonable as well, given the amount of stuff on this site. Well, turns out I was wrong... Opening the confirmation email I see that the recurring fee is 47,54 and not 39. I've had 5 subs running on other sites and something like this has never happened to me before, will definitely not use EA more than 1 month. Btw, currency was EUR, if you guys wonder ;)

myxxxpass network forexample seems to have the kinda content EA is expected to have/has had. I scrolled the current picture sets at EA and very few well shot bend over ass pictures were there. I still have membership to myxxxpass remaining, so when I compared the two, seemed like these two sites had pretty much become one another.

Imo myxxxpass used to kinda suck (not in a good way) and EA rock but now it seems to be the other way pretty much.

Am I the only one feeling this way?

edit: I'm not saying EA totally sucks now, no. I'm saying that there has been quite a decline in it's quality imho.

I just re-joined evilangel to see Kianna Dior's latest vid. Its streaming only. I also checked Lex Steel's latest and its streaming only too. The pic sets are smaller than they used to be and there are ads on every page. What a shame.

Web site redesign

They redesigned their website.

Favorites are still pretty much useless, as you can't do anything with them like 'view recent updates' for them, and you don't seem to get any visual clue that you've already favorited a star. You do get a drop-down menu now that shows them all, but the names are all jumbled up randomly, so good luck finding who you want. Fortunately it does give you an option to quickly remove them if you do find them.

Porn star pages only show 3 movies and 3 picture sets at a time. Before it would show something like 12, and if they had more than that you would click 'see more' and see 20-24 per page.

Gone are the days where you back button would show you useful information so you could go back 12 steps to get to where you were before you entered your current page. Now the back-button history (of firefox) shows 'Evil Angel' over and over. Kind of like how FameDigital does it.

To add to the above non-improvement when you go back to the listing it forgets your settings. I had only females checked, and when I went back to the listing it showed male and female and repositioned me. I was on page 21 of the females-only list, and it showed me to page 23 of the male and female list. So now I guess I have to Ctrl+click on porn stars so I retain my listing position and get to view the pornstar.

One good thing (other than that you can now easily remove favorites) is that the thumbnails for movies are now animated when you mouse-over them. Before I would go into pictures to check out whether a star was to my tastes. While I could do that now the animated picture gives me a good idea of whether I'll like them and I don't have to deal with the annoying back-button problem.

Evil Angel - Still Excellent

I suppose that there are times when Evil Angel's content gets to be in a relative slump - this ain't one of those times. The Teen-a-holics DVD that they posted a few days ago is excellent, but what I really like about Evil Angel is their ability to highlight stuff that didn't sound like it would be appealing to me much at all and then to blow me away with how good it is - the latest example is the scene between Alina Li and Marica Haze engaging in plastic wrap and breath play in a scene from Fetish Fanatic 14. And they don't forget the greatness of great tease and eye contact with the camera. This is where I feel that Evil Angel's stuff has it all over Kink's stuff, which I find overly clinical and about the acts themselves without the importance stuff, which is how hot the acts get the performers and should get the audience. Warning: trying to trick European customers with "special offers"

I used a TBP discount to buy an evilangel.com membership. When I decided to cancel they offered me a 30 days membership for $11.21. So I decided to stay. Since I didn't receive a confirmation email, I was a little sceptical. That's why I contacted their support with a couple of questions, and I'm glad I did.

Imagine my surprise when they told me, that they would charge me the same amount in Euros. Which is in fact $15.26 and not what I agreed to!

What's up with all these e-mails to join other Evil Angel sites?

I keep getting e-mails inviting me to join Evil Angel sites for a discount. I joined through pornusers, so I'm not sure if they just give you access to a core site and have a bunch of others you need additional access to (Reality Junkies, Devil Films, etc).

Alternatively, I did initially join with a one-month $5 deal, then cancelled that and joined through PU. Could that be it and I actually have access to all these 'deals' they're offering, but they haven't realized that the two enrollments were under the same e-mail?

A counterpoint to the negative opinions

While I respect the opinions that martinlongbow and RustyJ wrote recently I can't agree with them. At the risk of sounding like a shill I find Evil Angel to be among the best sites on the internet. They do everything right: the porn is amazing with exceptional production values, the downloads are fast, they offer many different ways to stream or download their material, they update regularly and they offer a TBP/PU discount that turns a great value into an exceptional value.

I admit that the criticisms that the other members raised have some validity, but I don't think those flaws outweigh what the site does right. To address the specific issues raised:

- not enough Mike Adriano, too much Kevin Moore: I think Mike Adriano is among the best directors working today and I download EVERYTHING I can get of his so I agree that it would be nice to get more but there is a lot available still. Kevin Moore does a couple of my favorite series so I'd like more of his work too.
- Too much TS: I'm not a big fan of TS stuff either and wish Joey Silvera would bring back some of his older series (Fashion Sluts and Butt Row please!!) There are currently 94 TS DVD posted out of almost 1500 DVDs. While I don't download the TS stuff I realize that there are those who like it and it doesn't bother me that it is there.
- subsequent months more expensive than the first. Yes, this is true. The discount only applies to the first month but every time I go to leave I get offered the lower price.
- 'locked' updates. This is true too and it can be annoying but I agree with jberry169 in his reply that these are sort of a preview bonus we get to see before the DVD hits the streets. There was an Asphyxia Noir / Skin Diamond scene uploaded and locked yesterday that I really want to download so I'll watch to see how long that takes. I'm sure it'll be unlocked in the next month and probably only a week.

Anyway, I'm not trying to undermine valid opinions, but I think that objectively this site is still amazing and I'll continue to come back to it regularly. I'd score it in the mid 90s (and seeing my review is quite old maybe I'll post another review to justify that opinion).

Gone downhill

This site is certainly one of those that have lost long time subscription appeal. Not only are the months more expensive after the first one but it also appears that everything new is a "world premiere" these days meaning you cannot download it in a week. Not really rewarding sitting there as a member and seeing that you will have nothing new to get in a while...

To me a world premiere is nothing but a delayed update.

Thoughts on Evil Angel

Not sure there's much to say on top of the reviews already here, but here are a few of my thoughts from my membership:

This site is exceptional value for money with the PU discount and has an almost bewildering amount of content. Happy to see most content is downloadable (ie, everything I've encountered so far), and lots of options size-wise (I was concerned every video would be 1gb).

My only complaints are that despite selecting 'female only' I was still seeing shemales crop up in results. Also, too many of the sex scenes involve anal which I'm not a fan of.

Happy that there are lots of models and each seem to have a decent amount of updates, probably averaging around 3-5 for each model (most more, some less). I'm digging Riley Reid. Too many models have horrible, ugly tattoos though.

But yeah, definitely very impressed; by far the best-value site I've ever been a member of, and one I will definitely be rejoining.

Picture galleries messed up

When I first joined up I browsed tons picture galleries, but A LOT of them have totally disappeared (over HALF of them!) and some of them are all messed up, you can only view the first ten pages (500 pics) of a pictorial, and some of them have 7-800 pics in them. I emailed the support team and they assured me that they were working on fixing it within a couple of days. Well, that was over 3 weeks ago and the galleries are still messed up. So I cancelled my membership, I'm not paying for a broken site, even if it is only 15 bucks a month.

Making it more difficult to cancel

It used to be simple to cancel a subscription through this website. Now you get a message telling you to call a phone # where all the operators are busy - or you can e-mail them or enter info on their website telling them to cancel - neither of which gets a response in a timely way.

Not good!

slow download speeds and no download manager?

Anybody notice that download managers don't work on the site anymore? I only get 100-300KB/s download rate from the site which takes 2-4 hours to download a single HD scene. If I use firefox and an addon called DownthemAll I could download at 2-3MB/s. However, around a week ago, it doesn't work anymore. Any video I try to download now with downthemall results in downloading some .htm file. I can now only download without the use of a download manager getting only 100-300KB/s.

World Premieres

I wonder if the good people at the EvilAngel has noticed the trend that these so called premieres tend to get lower ratings as other releases? I wonder if many people even bother watching them streaming at lower resolutions or if they just equal a delayed release to most and wait for the download option?

As it says on ads of theirs, "Unlimited Access to all Evil Angel movies".

However, i browsed through some of my favourite series from EA but can't seem to find certain ones.

Evil angel constantly posts a huge amount of new vids and pics. For me its one of the best if not the best sites on the net. Also I got a great deal, I signed up for retail, but when I went to cancel they offered $9.95 a month if I stayed.

At the risk of sounding like a complete dullard, how the hell do I enter the competition in the newsletter to win a membership to EA? It says something about following on Twitter or liking on Facebook and while I do have accounts on both of those sites the usernames in no way resemble the username I have on here. How will you know its me?

May be a silly question but I very rarely use social media sites so I'm unsure how it all works. It also says something about 4 ways to enter, what are the other ways????? If I can avoid logging into Facebook again I would be very happy as as soon as I do they set their spam email bots on me.

Anyone know if you can use a download manager on this site

I must be getting the slowest download speeds I've had in a long time, I'm used to 1500kbs but this keeps starting ok then it goes down to 300-400kbs

Tried to use 2 download managers but it seems to download a webpage of 37k and doesn't get me a download, that said I'm not really used to download managers so i might be doing something wrong, the one I'm trying with is Free Download Manager.

Does anyone use a DM on the site and can help.

Huge File Sizes here, woh

Get this then went to download a scene, thought I'd opt for HD 720 and it said it was 2.9GB for one 40 min scene, that is huge I'm having to go for 540p which still weighs in a 1.2 GB

I simply don't have the room for files of this size.

Just checking over the 540p on my 32inch tv I have as my monitor and yeah its just fine at 540 lol so I can live with this size I think.

Update again

Hit the record here a 540p scene 3.7gb and even the 480p version is 2.3 Gb, the 720p was a wopping 7.4GB, they didn't have the 1080 version but this must be over 10GB for a 1 hour scene.

Got to be a new record that certainly the largest file I've seen of a one single porn scene from a dvd

How do evil angels subscriptions work?

So, how do evil angels subscriptions work when compared to the many subsites they have. For instance, I could sign up for Evil Angel, or I could sign up for Jay Sin's personal site.

It looks like Jay Sin has a few videos that the main Evil Angel site does not have. However, isn't it the same network...? I am not even sure which is the better deal.

If I go to Bella Donna's page, it says she only has like 3 videos. Which is a joke, since I know she has way more than 3 scenes filmed with Evil Angel.

How long does it usually take for their new films on DVD to get released on their site?

Are most of the newer releases in 720/1080p?

Sorry I am asking so many questions, it is just that their subscription model and layout seems so outdated, and they have no official forum...

The $9.95 sign up through pornusers does not work

I signed up through pornusers.com for 30 days for $9.95. Or should I say I tried to. After I put in my credit card info, I got a blank page. Then a chat box came on saying I could sign up for about $30 for 90 days. I tried to engage in the chat, but just kept getting the same boilerplate sentence offering 90 days for about $30.00. I think the chat wasn't a real person, just a robo response. Went through the signup a second time, same result as first. Sent a trouble ticket to the payment processor, but no response yet. No email confirm on the order and no charge to my credit card,so the $9.95 deal for 30 days, which renews at $29.95, is not really available, or at least it was not today for me.

New Updates Are Awesome

Evil Angel has been a great studio in the past. Their new updates are incredible. I love Jay Sin's new stuff and Joey Silvera's new stuff with Nacho Vidal is incredible. The scene with Nacho and Sandy (of Club Sandy) taking turns training Skin Diamond is one of the best porn scenes I have ever seen in my life - and presented in full HD (1920 X 1080 are the stats) that look beautiful.

One caveat - they are putting up a lot of premieres and exclusives and those premieres and exclusives are stream-only for 2-3 weeks (their protection against pirating one can assume).

This site gets better and better in my opinion and the TBP discount is one helluva great deal.

Update

Was looking for a site to join and i came across this one and recently (January 15) they had a massive update (187 new scenes it says). From what it looks like its a mixed between a lot of hd scenes and few non-hd ones. I was once a member of the site a while back but can't remember much about it, but think i will give it another shot.
