21sextury clips are okay quality wise, but whenever there is fast action they are grainy and generally don't come close to the vid quality on EA's site. Also, the file sizes aren't all that different between sites, so I am not sure why you have an issue with EA file sizes. Many sites shoot gonzo porn, it's the quality of the HD vids that most care about, and EA sets themselves apart from the rest! For instance, Elegant Angel's HD vids have terrible quality and many of their scenes are always shot against a white background which leads to terrible skin tones - I will never join their site. There are many forums talking about Evil's site, and so far you have been the only one to have an issue with their HD file sizes :-)

Rusty - I appreciate your reviews and contributions to PU as they have been very helpful. I was a lurker here for a while, I just disagree with you about this topic :-)

Well, I've seen similar or even better quality put into much smaller size files. Check 21Sextury.com for example. I think they have much better ratio of compression vs. image quality.

I disagree, the HD vids are of great quality, and I would never sacrifice quality just so I can download the clips faster via smaller file sizes. The quailty of EA's HD vids sets them apart from just about every other site. If they lowered the quality just to make the few people left with 1.5 MB DSL connections happy then they would lose a lot more customers than they would gain. The 720P MP4 files have a bitrate of 5Mbit/sec and the 1080 MP4 files are 7Mbit/sec. I actually go with the 720P clips because in order to make the 1080P movies equivalent in quality they would need to be at least 8 Mbit/sec.

They have great scenes and very nice arhive of old scenes, I agree. The only problem for me is the file size and the fact that periodically they release scenes from one genre for week after week with little variation.

Evil Angel has been a great studio in the past. Their new updates are incredible. I love Jay Sin's new stuff and Joey Silvera's new stuff with Nacho Vidal is incredible. The scene with Nacho and Sandy (of Club Sandy) taking turns training Skin Diamond is one of the best porn scenes I have ever seen in my life - and presented in full HD (1920 X 1080 are the stats) that look beautiful.

One caveat - they are putting up a lot of premieres and exclusives and those premieres and exclusives are stream-only for 2-3 weeks (their protection against pirating one can assume).

This site gets better and better in my opinion and the TBP discount is one helluva great deal.

It's very much worth joining, especially if you've never done it before. I guess the release schedule is what it is is because they have to sell those DVD's too. My biggest gripe with this site was sometimes insane file size. 4-5 gigabytes was the biggest ones I saw but then again some were quite nicely compressed so I guess they have many teams working on these releases.

They do so much material that even though they post 3 scenes every day, they wind up being incredibly far behind the actual output, so they push out a ton of scenes periodically. It's a very good site - and if you've been a member once, you get amazing rejoin promos fairly often.

Update

Was looking for a site to join and i came across this one and recently (January 15) they had a massive update (187 new scenes it says). From what it looks like its a mixed between a lot of hd scenes and few non-hd ones. I was once a member of the site a while back but can't remember much about it, but think i will give it another shot.

Great review as usual rearadmiral I'm too a fan of this site now, its another one that vastly improved over the past yeat and yeah annoying that the new releases are not live but I guess they want to get some dvd sales first, I love the content too and it is some of the hardest around I agree but makes a nice change and some of the stuff is quite creative I found.

The website administrator's explanation by email contradicts the disclosure on the website which reads:

The user hereby agrees that the website may, in its sole discretion, sell, share, rent, or license any of the personal information about users that was provided or that was collected with affiliated or unaffiliated third parties.

If they don't sell or rent or otherwise disclose any personal information then why do they make users "agree" that they can do so?

I've joined Evil Angel sites several times and I'm planning another membership soon and I've never had a problem. I think most others here would agree with me that you need to set up a separate porn email account (Hotmail or Gmail) because you WILL get spam from someone. At least if the spam is in one email that no prying eyes can see it can't do you any harm.

BTW, I should add that Milk Enema is a great site and if you join it and like it that will make two of us here who like girl/girl milk enemas. I need the support!

Have just been reading the privacy policy on Evil Angel's Milk Enema site:

I was a member of Videobox a while back and did see for extra money I could get evil angel films but having recently been a member of evil angel then on my first subscription so I didn't take the offer.

You might be better asking in a comment on the videobox profile page how much it was again and how many dvds are available on there, you can maybe find that out without being a member on the videobox site come to think of it as they let you look around abit for free.

I'd recommend myself though a membership at evilangel all the same as its a great site and not too pricey, especially if your US Based

Going the right way

I've gotten the impression that number and frequency of HD scenes has grown lately. Now it appears that most of the new scenes are HD and also available up to 1080p. Some releases are still witheld to be downloaded only at a later date but at least they also increase what you will eventually be able to download.

the only don't like is they not are specific the size of the file

and I surprise when the file size are aver 2Gigs for a single scene
another inconvenient can be the are some incomplete movies some scenes are missing or in presses to post

Solid website, but lots of room for improvement

I joined the Evil Angel website a few months ago and I will say it has gotten quite a bit better in terms of quality. One of the more frustrating aspects of it however is the slow progress of updates. I guess I can understand they have a massive catalog of DVD's to bring onto the site, but by that same token the Evil Angel sub-site at Videobox seems to have A LOT of recent releases much faster than the actual Evil Angel website does. For instance, I think the latest Evil Anal DVD on the Evil Angel website is #12, while Videobox already has #13 and #14 posted.

Granted, Videobox updates are not in HD, but even there the Evil Angel website is a bit clunky I have found as the video quality of the some of the updates lags a bit. Raw #6 for instance isnt listed in HD on the Evil Angel website the the Video Box version actually beats the quality you can download on the actual Evil Angel website.

I've only seen this huge files on latest Jay Sin films and on 720p. Gape Lovers 6 at 1080p has acceptable file size but Gape Lovers 5 at 720p also has huge ones. Older ones seem ok on quick check.

As per my multimedia guys, they told me that the scene you gave, which is Anal Buffet 3 was indeed very happy and they are now looking into compressing it.

This is not across the board and this is probably just a one off, unless there are other scenes that you found were very heavy, please list them here so we can take care of it immediately.

We truly appreciate your feedback and because of surfers like you, we are able to rectify errors that we have missed ourselves.

Hey El - Currently EA has Anal Buffet's #1 - #5 including your scene with Henessy AND Gape Lovers #1 - #6. That should encourage you to drop a dime on them.

In fairness though, one would find that it takes six months or longer for most of the new EA releases to make it from DVD purchase to scene download. For instance, J.Darkko released Suck Balls Nov 2010 but the first scene doesn't appear for download until this week.

Yeah I don't know how all that work compression works but its of course in their interest too to keep sizes down to a minimum but giving also HD quality scenes for people who want to watch the best. When the vids are long though yeah it can be a major file size.

They are long scenes, i must add. Up to 45 minutes and even one hour. Still the difference between scene sizes with some other movies makes me wonder if they have simply forgotten to check compression option when they encoded some of these movies ;)

Blimey 5 gig for a single scene, that is a lot, i don't have the hard drive space for sizes like that, I like to stick to max 1gig or just over. Some vids only get watched once and some never so taking 5 gigs of space for scenes is excess. I don't mind as long as there is an option for a lower resolution version.

I'm all happy about these new HD downloads that make this site (and other FameDollars sites) huge value for money but there is one problem. Especially Jay Sin's latest films have been encoded to ridiculous file sizes. This is most apparent on 720p videos that seemingly take more space than the 1080p ones on other films. Single scenes can go over 5 gigabytes and as a result films like Anal Buffet #3 with it's 15 scenes take up to a dual layer Bluray disc of space which should be sufficient for totally uncompressed 1080p film.

I think with proper encoding settings much of the 720p material could be shrunk to half size files.
