I'm not a member myself now, but the most recent videos I have from them (maybe half a year ago or so) is 960x540 @920kbit/s, and quality is good for these parameters.

As for re-joining - if it is your cup of tea, it should be worth it, but on the other hand I shall tell that even these days things like anal are quite rare, so personally I prefer to join once in a while (probably will do it again soon), grab more intensive content (especially tag teams), and then unsubscribe.

Have you seen their "Tag Team" matches (2-girl teams)? They have been added not so long ago, and IMHO they have made a HUGE difference for the site. And if Amber is losing, it often leads to DP, though I agree that more anal overall definitely wouldn't hurt :-).

Are you sure it's a good idea to put that low rating for the site just because it's not your cup of tea? I mean that all "cons" in your review (except for the first one) are HIGHLY subjective and there are will be LOTS of people who have an exactly opposite opinion. Personally I'm at least trying to avoid setting low (especially THAT low) ratings to the sites which just aren't my cup of tea, at least if inside member area they provide essentially the same stuff as advertised on the tour pages.

Do you know if Syd is still filming scenes? She was a beast as far as the wrestling goes. I noticed (in TGP galleries) that there is one time that she lost and that's a video I'd really like to see. It has been too long since I was a member to write a full review. However I still have many videos that I downloaded. The wrestling is just ok, the videos not clear enough to be really hot. It is very difficult to really see the girls in anything resembling a closeup as the shots are taken from too far away. The set has no personality, it is just the inside of a building and looks like a loft or warehouse. The sex parts are sometimes hot, but almost always vaginal use of dildos. Very rarely is there any anal use. Sometimes they seem to be not much into it, this is a real mixed bag. Using a dildo may be fun for some winners but, the best parts I felt were the forced cunt licking until orgasm. At least the winner got something out of winning. However most of the time the winner simply used a dildo vaginally on the loser or sometimes forced the loser to suck a plastic dildo, no big thrill for me,and seemed uninspired and unenthusiastic. Most of the time the winner was predictable as the matches were not close. Definitely don't join for the wrestling.

Well, you're not the only one my friend. I had to deal with some seriously childish arguments from the webmaster of 1 by Day after I gave some constructive criticism that he couldn't handle (even accused me of being a plant from another porn site, because of course no one could possibly genuinely dislike his site) - but happily I got LOTS of support from fellow PUs (even those that disagreed with my points) and he showed himself up for the petty little man he was.

Yeah, that was a pretty ugly argument that I finally just gave up on. I don't know what was going on with asmith at that time, he seems to be a good member these days. I don't know if it was one of those moments where he tried to make himself better known by refuting an established member or what. Either way, his view never changed towards my reviews, even after I wrote the follow-up and gave the points back since the DL limit was lifted on Ultimate Surrender.

I do notice that our comments are read on here by sites. Less than a month after my review of US, they lifted the DL limit and less than a week after my comment on Viv Thomas's video site not letting Teen Dreams members download his content as bonus content, but only letting them stream it, he has gone back and started letting the Teen Dreams members download his movies, though they are only 750 bitrate, compared to 2000 on his site.

Indeed the brutality of some of the scenes is quite too much for a large percentage of the porn audience; and that is the reason you really need to look through Kink's stuff, check out the free site and make damn sure you know what content you'll be getting access to. Otherwise it's just a bloody waste of money and might upset your day as well.

I really do like Kink and their policies - while granted it is pretty difficult in publishable porn to go beyond my comfort zone, I do really appreciate Kink's policy of pre and post interviews to show that everything is done in good spirit. While there is a ton of strap-on sex - seriously, seriously rough strap-on sex - anal sex is a less common. Only a few of the models do it - largely I think because since strap-ons haven't any nerve-endings the model controlling it doesn't exactly know how rough she is being. That said, it isn't too uncommon. Anytime Amber Rayne loses you can expect to see copious anal sex - as she is a big fan of it. In fact, tag-team matches with her often see her getting DPed. It kind of pains me to know that she keeps becoming a better wrestler, as we see less and less of her on the receiving end.

I have to agree that download limits are a terrible thing! I am extremely critical of sites that use them. I can understand sites using them to certain extents, but there is a limit to which they should be used. I have downloaded videos at more than 1 GB per part, just as Exotics said. Having low download limits is just a sneaky method of getting people to have to pay for multiple months and possibly forget about their membership and end up charged hundreds of dollars before realizing. Either that or they are trying to avoid buying more bandwidth, or both for that matter.

I will mention though that I did not have any issue with download limits a few months ago though, but that does not mean they are not there. Anything Eroitics says about a site should be taken seriously, after all he is the highest user here!

Yeah, was exactly my feeling too, but with tag teams it doesn't feel that "one-way" even if one team is outclassed (when there are 2 wrestlers from one team against one from the other, obviously they dominate regardless).

Big improvement since review

I've found that this site has improved greatly since my review. Tag teams addition is REALLY great, and overall feeling is much better too. As a result, I've upgraded score from 90 to 95 (see also a follow-up to my review).

Nice to see that some great sites are improving even further.

Agreed - the new login system is much nicer. Plus it is network wide, so if you are a member of multiple sites on the Kink Network, you only login once for the network, not for each site as some networks still require.

Ok - I finally got around to researching this, and while this is now my third message on the topic - I figured I'd be thorough.

None of the Kink.com sites have a monthly download limit. After finding zip in the FAQ about it - I actually contact their support guys and a customer support person named Elmer respond with this comment:

"We do not have a download limit for any of our sites. Enjoy downloading!"

No need to do any score tweaking :-) I actually can't imagine pulling over 10GB from this site unless you were just ripping all the content to look through it later.

It's official - after seeing multiple questions about the supposed it 10 Gigabyte Monthly Download limit - I hunted the FAQs on Kink.com and then finally went to the company itself. I contacted their support crew and got this response from one of their customer support guys, Elmer:

"We do not have a download limit for any of our sites. Enjoy downloading!"

So there you have it folks - none of the Kink.com sites have download limits anymore (if they ever did) - download worry-free!

Personally I've never hit it, but I won't be surprised if they do. As most of really good sites, kink.com has technical stuff who're not on par with content to put it mildly. See my comments about their login system, which is one of the most annoying ones in the industry.

If I did, I wouldn't let that stop me from subscribing, though. I'd rather see what I've seen and then get pissed at hitting a bandwidth limit than to miss what I've seen and move on to some cookie-cutter site.
