Fairly Frequent Download Failures

While In The Cracks content is very good they've set their downloads up so the fail fairly frequently, I imagine to discourage too much downloading. The larger the file the more likely it is to fail at least once or twice. Also there is no support for resuming so you can't pause a download either. That's also the main cause for download failures I suspect, caused by a brief download interruption from net congestion.

It's not so bad that you can't get and enjoy the content, just be prepared to be frustrated far more then you should be (which is not at all) with a professional site while downloading. With the highest monthly price I've seen in the industry you'd think they could fix the problem, but I think they designed it so the downloads fail a decent amount to curb downloading.

Also they're set up to discourage queuing with rather short timeouts, which I think is only 30 minutes to an hour.

Any advice on staying signed in?

This has become one of my favorite sites, but I'm having a frustrating time with the staying signed in part. A few examples and how the site's quality works against the user experience.

I was downloading a couple of Emy Reyes videos. Two downloads going at a time with the browser's (Firefox) download manager. These scenes were large, one was file "assshowilikedat" which is 1.14 GB and the other was file "ohmygood" which is 1.08 GB. By the time these files were finished downloading, I clicked on the pictures to download the zip and got the message I had to be a member to see the gallery to join the site or login if already a member.

I do think they know this could be a problem since when you log back in, it takes you directly back to where you were, but because I don't download all the scenes, I have to scan across them again, open hard drive to see which I have and don't have and go from there. Also, it's not only on the largest files. Had two in the 600 MB range going and still was signed out when those finished. I'm downloading at a combined 1.7 MB/sec, so that only looks like 10-15 minutes, of no activity, before being logged out.

Is there a way to get around this? Won't really change my high opinion of the site since I have enjoyed everything I have downloaded from it, but it does seem to be a bit of a hassle.

Outstanding download speed.

In this day, when establishing download limits of some kind, or purposely reducing download speeds seems all the rage, ITC is giving me outstanding DL speeds. i have to admit that i find this rather relaxing.

16 months ago, or so, i joined this site and i wasn't getting such great DL speeds and customer support were so kind as to void my membership.

i very much like this site and i'll be sure to rejoin it.

Photo shoot site locations

I have to tip my hat to ITC. They shoot girls in photo and video layouts in some of the most beautiful LA homes, Euro Studios, Caribbean Resorts, all very erotic locations. A Small but Positive Change in Navigation

I was browsing around ITC the other day and noticed they made a change to their site; now instead of just organizing models by name or release date--which were only accessible by page number, not a letter or date--they have added a new sorting feature where you can browse by release date, model name, model age (at time of shooting of course), nationality, or shooting location.

I was not a huge fan of their overly simplistic system before, so this is a definite improvement for me--and a quick way to point me in the right direction when I am digging through my hard drive.

Their search engine needs an upgrade though; it's still just by term and video category. It doesn't apply to photos which don't always have the same content as the videos from the same shoot. The search results also only give you a list of videos with no direct links to the models' respective shoot pages so you can check out more of her 'Crack portfolio. Hopefully they will give their search engine a little more power in the future.

Getting slower and slower downloads

I'm on my second go round here and with a spankin' new PC, but my downloads are getting slower and slower. I occasionally get upwards of 700k a sec, but lately they've been hovering around 120k, sometimes lower. Not only that, the speed seems to decrease dramatically at first, then pick up very gradually.

I heard that AVG anti-virus slows down your system, and I recently installed that (not the free version). I wonder if that has something to do with it. I hope not. I notice that RB has noted slow server speeds. That's too bad, what with the large files here.

**edit: also not crazy about the prevalence of outdoors shoots for the newer models.

Possible Future Sister Solo Model Site

Recently I logged on to the site and there was a poll concerning the possibility of creating a sister site of a single model, a Czech girl named Lexa (not to be confused with an earlier Canadian model named Lexy).

I am not too wild about spin-off sites, even if I love the original, as I do so strongly with InTheCrack. In this case, they are considering her because of positive member feedback and because they consider her one of their most attractive models. I wanted to join the site, because I like what I have seen from previews. But because I live in Europe, I would have to pay 34.95 Euros instead of $ 34.95! What means that actually I would have to pay $ 47.11 instead of $ 34.95!!! I can't accept such a deception!

Pros-
First off I'd like to say that i'm a fan of the female derrier!! I love me some ass and more ass, with that being said, In the crack has more ass then a toilet seat! My thanks to the webmaster for straightening me out on the download limits (or lack thereof) because I've been gorging on the material of ITC ever since I subscribed yesterday. I won't do a review because others have done a super job and given this site the same ratings I would .. in the nineties. The quality of video and pictures is simply outstanding, the models are gorgeous, navigating is a breeze. What more could a PU want! One more comment: I am astounded at the quality of the "older" material. Even the 640x480 wmv videos look excellent even when viewed full screen. Highly recommended for "close up" fans.

My neck hurts

My neck hurts from constantly having to cock my head to the side while watching these vids. I'm starting with the oldest vids and working my way up. Down With Download Limits!

I really gave the site a good going over by sampling most of the previews because I was sorely tempted to join, but a 30 Gig a month download limit? With the high definition and high quality videos this site offers it wouldn't take very long to reach that. Given the large file sizes of most new videos I'm afraid I'll have to pass not only on this site, but on any site that sets monthly limits.

My tour of InTheCrack continued...

Like I said this is my 3rd Tour, but my first view of the videos. The multiple clips are a bit 'old school' you'll have to do some editing to download and be able to view in order. The quality of the vidoes in all the various resolutions is excellcent. The level of erotica (XXX) is very good. If your into closeups of ass and cunny spreading with lots of 'juicy' play, they deliver. The studio sets are very professional and the models are dressed accordingly. My experience is: if you look at the pics and like the level of erotica, the videos are different, more XXX and explicite. I wish the site in the future could balance the videos and the pics a bit more. I realize thats not easy or ($$$) possible. Full review later. Davit is a new memeber so I would look for what he reviews on InTheCrack.

On balance, a quality solo-anal worship site

I have to say my initial impression of the site was one of slight disappointment - the movies are all in clips, offered in various bit rates, but with no all-in-one downloads. This was compounded by the site's statement that DMs are not officially supported and may cause download problems.

Happily, I have had absolutely no problems downloading dozens upon dozens of movie clips with my FDM today. Not exactly all of the movies are really asshole orientated - some (maybe about a 5th) focus more on pussy stretching, so I tended to not download those, as they look a bit banal. But of the ones that do focus on the ass, they make this site certainly worth it's fee. These ass movies are HOT. The camera work, lighting, editing, and quality of girls, are all - in the main - second to none.

As well as lots of ass hole play, there are also a few GENUINE girly cumshots - and I mean the thick white cream that oozes from the pussy, not clear piss squirting from the urethra (you know, that just about all 'squirt' sites jokingly pass off as cum). There are some piss scenes too (bit boring to me).

The picture galleries are a bit hit and miss - they tend to feature lots of very repetitive shots, as if the camera was set to rapid fire. I have downloaded several zipped sets via the DownThemAll DM (FDM doesn't work with these) and I usually delete at least half of the pics, as they are almost identical to other ones. This results in a very nice and concise hot set.

Highly recommended.

Finally they they eliminated the token pay system! Full access to all videos and pictures at all resolutions for just a monthy membership. Just joined, third time as memeber but I never saw the videos. I refused to deal with tokens. I took a quick tour after joining and they look great. Will do a full review in the future.

Had a look today, back in visitor's status. Basically, lower resolution videos are now available to monthly subscribers. Tokens are still required for the higher res vids.

The monthly price got hiked to $34.95 "accordingly," so it says on the InTheCrack "What's New" page. See that for a fuller account.

And get this: There's a monthly download limit such that you can't obtain more than approx. a third of the existing content in a month. In The Crack? Sounds more like On Crack.

Just in time for the current poll about how much we're willing to spend for a monthly membership ...
