I would think if people were having this problem we would be hearing about it. There is nothing deliberately set up to curb downloading. Everything is unlimited. With the endless possible configurations on a personal computer it is perhaps not out of the ordinary for one or two people to have an issue.

Fairly Frequent Download Failures

While In The Cracks content is very good they've set their downloads up so the fail fairly frequently, I imagine to discourage too much downloading. The larger the file the more likely it is to fail at least once or twice. Also there is no support for resuming so you can't pause a download either. That's also the main cause for download failures I suspect, caused by a brief download interruption from net congestion.

It's not so bad that you can't get and enjoy the content, just be prepared to be frustrated far more then you should be (which is not at all) with a professional site while downloading. With the highest monthly price I've seen in the industry you'd think they could fix the problem, but I think they designed it so the downloads fail a decent amount to curb downloading.

Also they're set up to discourage queuing with rather short timeouts, which I think is only 30 minutes to an hour.

Any advice on staying signed in?

This has become one of my favorite sites, but I'm having a frustrating time with the staying signed in part. A few examples and how the site's quality works against the user experience.

I was downloading a couple of Emy Reyes videos. Two downloads going at a time with the browser's (Firefox) download manager. These scenes were large, one was file "assshowilikedat" which is 1.14 GB and the other was file "ohmygood" which is 1.08 GB. By the time these files were finished downloading, I clicked on the pictures to download the zip and got the message I had to be a member to see the gallery to join the site or login if already a member.

I do think they know this could be a problem since when you log back in, it takes you directly back to where you were, but because I don't download all the scenes, I have to scan across them again, open hard drive to see which I have and don't have and go from there. Also, it's not only on the largest files. Had two in the 600 MB range going and still was signed out when those finished. I'm downloading at a combined 1.7 MB/sec, so that only looks like 10-15 minutes, of no activity, before being logged out.

Is there a way to get around this? Won't really change my high opinion of the site since I have enjoyed everything I have downloaded from it, but it does seem to be a bit of a hassle.

Yes there are zipped picture sets.

There are very few fake boobs on the site. Maybe 5%. The ones that do have fake boobs were hired because they make up for it in other ways.

Large file sizes are the trade off for higher resolution videos. Unfortunately you cannot simultaneously have both high res and low file sizes.

Well-done review, as usual.

My big con in regard to this site - too damned specific - the "now we're going to do a scene devoted to the puckering of her asshole" stuff just does away with any element of surprise and adventure that, to me, is what eroticism is all about.

It's the same issue that I have with Kink.com.

It's very subjective, because there are certainly sites I like that are predictable and usually rather repetitive, but they have enough variety within that repetition and predictability that they don't kill the eroticism, and despite the high quality of this site, for my tastes, they just do - way too much of the time.

It's why I like the tendencies of ALS Scan to try different things - like a bit of b/g (I haven't liked it on their site) or fem-dom (I fucking love the fem-dom stuff on their site!). Even when they don't succeed, it's clear they're trying to get somewhere new. The specificity of sites like In The Crack and the Kink.com sites mean that they'll NEVER get anywhere that they didn't specifically plot out to begin with.

The price is certainly high, but I think the site has something others do not: That very special way of making most of the models appear more sexy, erotic and maybe more elegant - than you see them elsewhere.

Though I would argue if a few sites should be in the 90s this could be one of them (okay, I gave it an 87, but I'm a frugal bastard and I'm a stickler for low pricing). I download at 1.5 to 2.5 MB/Sec on their big HD Video files consistently all the time on a 5 month membership. Their download speed on Comcast Boost Cable Internet is very fast with zero issues. Great site for their niche and a well run site. Never an issue with downloading. If your downloads are slow it�s your connection not the ITC server.

I live in Madrid. i don't have a fast connection, perhaps technically it is, but given the speeds that our american friends get i don't think of it as a fast connection. I signed up for 6 megabytes with my telephone company. the fastest download speed i've ever gotten from a site was 650 kps, i'm getting this DL speed from ITC. I can download four files from ITC at a time and get over 200 kps in each one of them, that's a lot, as far as i know, considering my connection. i'm not very familiar with telematics so that's all i can tell you. i remember that you were a DDF member, well, the fastest DL i got from them a month ago was 390 kps; last summer i was getting a measly 150 kps when downloading a single file from videobox -i know that there have been complaints over videobox's download speeds from pornusers and i can attest to their assertions-.

I got inconsistant download speeds when I was a member a couple of months ago. Sometimes it would fly with speeds of 80+ mbit/sec and other times crawl at 3 mbit/sec.

I have always gotten speedy downloads from ITC, even when downloading multiple huge files at once, so it's nice to hear you are now getting in on the 'action' like many other members. They have some seriously large HD video files so fast downloads are pretty critical to enjoying their content.

In this day, when establishing download limits of some kind, or purposely reducing download speeds seems all the rage, ITC is giving me outstanding DL speeds. i have to admit that i find this rather relaxing.

Yeah, ITC has great photos. In the face. Though a hi speed int connection is necessary for their vids. Recomend your to search through the vids with the search term orgasm. Theres one where she sprays about six or seven feet as she sits near a tub. Like the ones done in the Virgin Islands. It would be great if they offered video on dvds- may be they do. It would take a long time to download their vids otherwize. Never complained about the 34.95 a month membership.

I have to tip my hat to ITC. They shoot girls in photo and video layouts in some of the most beautiful LA homes, Euro Studios, Caribbean Resorts, all very erotic locations. A Small but Positive Change in Navigation

I was browsing around ITC the other day and noticed they made a change to their site; now instead of just organizing models by name or release date--which were only accessible by page number, not a letter or date--they have added a new sorting feature where you can browse by release date, model name, model age (at time of shooting of course), nationality, or shooting location.

I was not a huge fan of their overly simplistic system before, so this is a definite improvement for me--and a quick way to point me in the right direction when I am digging through my hard drive.

Their search engine needs an upgrade though; it's still just by term and video category. It doesn't apply to photos which don't always have the same content as the videos from the same shoot. The search results also only give you a list of videos with no direct links to the models' respective shoot pages so you can check out more of her 'Crack portfolio. Hopefully they will give their search engine a little more power in the future.

At $35 for U.S.-based perverts I would say this site is on the high end of the price spectrum, at least for a monthly rate of a single site, but rejoining only every so often I would say it's worth it. But $47.81 is really pushing it even for the quality of the heart-stoppingly hot honeys who step in front of their cameras.

Addressing some of your cons....

The collections page is now customizable in that you can sort it by release date, model name (alphabetical), model age, nationality, and shoot location.

There's only 2 out of 383 current videos on the site without audio. It was not a conscious decision to shoot them without audio but in fact an audio screw up. We just released them anyway.

Download speeds: See this thread http://www.pornusers.com/replies_view.html?id=44350 There may be something relevant to your issues here.

Your login not remembering your password appears to be a browser issue. We have not been able to duplicate that.

Oddly cropped pictures: We don't see how that is a con. The pictures are cropped according to how they work the best. If a shot is originally 2400x1800 (horizontal) and shows a model standing then there's going to be a lot of useless background on the left and right sides. If we can crop it 2200x2200 then the model is going to be larger in the picture with less pixels waisted on useless background. That's a good thing for everyone is it not? Just curious, if a picture is 2200x2200 that would be a bad thing WHY???

I agree, williamj. I'm amazed by many things at this site, the models as well as the high-end, luxurious sets. There's sometimes so much ornament, color, and detail that it's like Ridley Scott decided to direct some soft porn for a change of pace.

And I can't say too much about the silence factor: no music, ZERO blather from the cameraman, and precious little from the model.

You mean, I presume, that the DL came in at 2,200kb a second? Holy crap, that's more than three times as fast as my optimal speed, which is around 700k a sec. I thought I had a reasonably fast connection. Yikes.

Oh, and by the way, the downloads have been okay for me recently, ranging from 300 to 700k.
