Was wondering if anyone could tell me if membership still includes acess to NicoleGraves.com? I was a member of the site a few years ago and it did then. Was wondering if they still do? Her site says you get access to Twistys (but no PornUsers $$ deal), so was wondering if it worked the other way around still.

After having been on porn hiatus for a while I logged in today and found Twisty's advertising a $1, 2 day full access trial. Alright I think to myself. Catch up on some of the stuff since I last joined. WRONG. After paying out and logging in you get this lovely little message: "As a trial member you get access to 3 Scenes & 3 Photo Sets hand picked by Twistys Staff". Frickin' yeah. Obviously, don't bother with the current trial offer here.

New Owners For Twistys

Shap announced in the Twistys forum today that he has sold Twistys to the owners of Brazzers. He was craving more time with his family and I'm sure that he had built Twistys into a valuable business. I wish Shap the best. He's certainly been one of the most classy and open site-owners in all of his posts on this site. And while I felt that Brazzers was at one time a bait-and-switch operation, all of that pre-dated the current ownership, who have operated the site in a more honest way with a lot of high-quality material. So it seems like a good match and one that should bode well for the future.

Tried the trial before returning

To say that I've been disappointed with most sites these days would be an understatement. I wasn't really for sure if I was just running out of interest in most porn or if most porn just wasn't very interesting. So, I decided to take a trial of my all-time favorite site Twistys since it had been about 7 months since I was last a member. The first thing I noticed is the new, at least to me, way to download picture zips. You hover your mouse pointer over the zip icon and the different size options pop up. Just from first glance it looks like fall 2009 was when the "large" photos became available on picture sets which is a lot considering 3 photo sets a day. These large zips have 2000x3000 resolution pictures in them and I think that's more than acceptable. Even the "medium" zips are 1000x1600 resolution which is adequate and those look to date back into 2006 on some sets.

Not really for sure about the trial, similar to wittyguy's comment, maybe there are different trials, but the one I signed up with through PU directly to Twistys was $1 for 2 days. It lets me download the picture sets, but if I click a set to view in browser it says I need to upgrade to a full membership. I also cannot download movies in this trial. Anything that requires a click is bouncing me to the upgrade to full membership page.

That's not a complaint at all. The trial still lets you see everything that has been updated for every model AND download the picture sets. I can't see anyone complaining about that for $1.

Also want to say that if Twistys does one thing better than any site it is the quality of models, especially newer models. Having said that, they at least have confirmed it's not me losing my interest in porn just that most sites aren't delivering porn that interests me. You could maybe see this as a slight warning to those looking for a full trial for the $1 price. Also continuing in my praise of Twistys for not bailing out on us longtime fans. Once this month runs out, I like joining at the first of the month to make sure I get all the new Treats content for the month, I'll be back to a full membership.

Trial Memberships and Pics

I usually venture back to Twisty's once a year or so to catch up on anything that I've missed when browsing other super sites. Doing my annual checkup I noticed a couple of things:

1. Twisty's has a great full access trial membership for two days for a few bucks (please don't yank this Shap, I dig it). However, it is a bit curious that your fees can vary depending on which entry site you use. I found two day trial prices varying from $3.88 to $2.95 to $1.00 (the one buck deal is through the AnetteDawn site). A little weird but I guess it pays off to poke (figuratively that is) around. Also, you get different billing processors (ccbill or epoch) depending which site you join through.

2. As I'm more of a pic guy and Twisty's has lots of pics I like the site. However, this time around I noticed that a lot of models in both the hardcore and softcore sets seem overly cropped in that you rarely see full body shots. I don't mind closeups and tight shots but especially when it comes to solo models I like to see the whole body more than I what I get here. Just a suggestion for future crop jobs there guys.

While I'm on the pic topic I also note that the photosets seem a bit small. Not many sites push the 30 to 100 images per set but, again, when it comes to solo models a lot of these sets feel like they've been cut short. I don't need thousands of pics but more in this case would be better.

Getting older update pages tip

At the top of the updates page they say they go back at least 6 months, but they have links taking you back to January 2008. The site has been around longer than that and I am sure some people would like to see at least some of the older content. Going through the model pages is a pain because you have new stuff mixed with old stuff. So here is the trick!

Look in your URL box when on one of the monthly update pages, it should look something like this:
"http://random.members.twistys.com/" "updates?offset=-30&offsetmode=2" that random string of stuff changes so that links expire a couple times a day. Anyway, notice after "offset=" there is a number "-30" and this number gets higher with every month you go back. Once you run out of links on the update page just put in "-38" for example and that will take you back into 2007. The pages look just the same as they do for 2010 and all the links still work, even the zip file links on the main update page.

As of July 2010 it goes back to 105, which is October 2001. This coming August will make it go to 106 and so on each month.

Just a little something I thought I would share with all of you. It is not hacking in anyway, just makes getting around the site a little easier. Enjoy.

despite working with ccbill twistys charged me the equivalent of 19.95 USD in euros, i paid 15,52 euros instead of 19.95 euros.

They started to offer 10,000 kps vids, which look great, since JULY 2009.

Why do I keep going back and join this site?
SOME of the material is non-exclusive (licensed), but still:
You get two video-updates each day and even better on the photo-deals.
The videos are now TOP in quality, mostly - ok, some old stuff is not THAT good in viewing quality, but it's now rare.
This is just a 'thumb-up' for the old Twistys - you know what you get - and to a fair price...
I'll keep coming back here in the future - a lot of videos here are just great!

Emails and silicone

Browsing around, I was looking at the reviews and comments here and noticed that Shap said their email system sends email to current and inactive members. Does that mean this is another site you can never get away from? It took me over 2 years to get Bang Bros to stop emailing me, even after clicking their unsubscribe link at least a dozen times. I don't relish the idea of signing up for another site like that - especially if they're sending email with subject lines like HEY! FORMER MEMBER! WE MISS YOU! A little discretion is a good thing.

If I get past that hurdle, can someone give me an idea of how many natural models they have on the site? From what I've seen of the site, my aversion to siliconed tits might make this a site to pass up.

Keep Track of Your Book-Keeping

I got a heads-up today on the need for members of Twistys to keep good track of their book-keeping. I got a "your membership has expired" e-mail with a "special invitation" to re-join at a price higher than the price that I'm paying with my current membership deal.

I wasn't sure that my membership should have expired, so I tried to just log-in - no problem. My membership is still ongoing.

So make sure that you keep track of your book-keeping and don't get suckered into a redundant join because of Twistys incorrect records.

3000 px zips starting to appear

At Twistys, I usually use the link at the top of a gallery page to get the zip, but today I noticed at the bottom of a page that they had two kinds of zips: the usual one AND one called "hi resolution."

The "hi-rez" are at 3000 pixels, which is great! However, not all photosets have them, but more do starting especially on Sept. 14th. And adding to the fun is the 3-day-earlier one, "Namaste" with Jana Mrazkova (aka Teresa Ilova, Jedda, etc.), which also has that option.

The Twistys folks do tend to come around here at PU and read our praise and our gripes. For this latest development, I give high praise! My membership's about to end, but I'll be back soon!

And here's a suggestion: Add a "has 3000 pixel zip" option on the power search. That would be most helpful.

Beware of Pre-Checked Cross-Sells!

Twistys is a site that has be up a LOT here at PU - and Twistys has webmaster/webmasters that is very much aware of how alert PUs are - and give regular reply here - AND TBP has "Our Price" (specielt for TBP/PU) - all great so far.
So why - when joining from TBP - does Twistys STILL have one or more annoying pre-checked cross sales? And even TBP still warns against it....
Wouldn't it be better for all parts to just drop it when joining from TBP? The pre-checked - that is... (because no problems with fine deals along with joining - but I'd like to choose without having to worry about that pre-checked thing).

Damned login page is stuck

I haven't been able to sign in on Twistys since Friday night. Everything works, updates tab works, join tab works, but when I click the members tab it pauses then says, "Cannot display page". I've also tried with IE with no luck. I don't want to bash one of my favorite sites, but I have limited downloading time, usually from 7 PM PST to 3 AM PST, but haven't been able to download anything for the last two nights. To top it off, my membership runs out either on Tuesday or Wednesday. It is one of those complimentary complaints. I really like Meggan Malone and she has a new set showing in today's updates. Also wanted to check out the Sasha Grey Treat content. Maybe this will help get an answer about the problem.

I was shocked to see the ultra softcore model Gemma Massey as Twisty's July Treat of the Month. Not because she isn't hot, quite the contrary, I've joined multiple sites over the last year or so just to see her tease sets. Question about exclusive/non-exclusive content

Hey,
I am joining this site as soon as I can budget it in and I have a question. After reading reviews/comments/replies/fact sheets I have determined that this site obviously contains both exclusive and exclusive material. While I do not mind this aspect because the amount of both is extremely high, I do have one question. Is there any way in the site navigation (scene descriptions/searches/etc.) that you can determine which scenes are exclusive to the site and which aren't? I looked through the previews but I cannot tell if this will be told to users in the member's area. I suppose it's not a huge deal but I am just wondering.

This is one of those sites that just delivers a high quality of models. I will do a review later when this one expires.
But I noticed a pet peave still present.
To download a video is a 4 step process. Pic video, then pic scenes then click scene then scroll down and click the movie to download. Would be a whole lot nicer if they made it easier. Its the same process for pictures too. The site has a small network but many many duplicates. Anyways I just joined anyone need any insight on this site let me know. And by the way this site has smoking hot models from Sandee Westgate to Peach, Crissy Moran and 1000's more. Video is usually of good quality on stuff a year or newer.

Incredible - sorry, folks - I have to use that phrase - and this user is normally quite (very) critical about video-quality....

But just downloaded some of the new ones at Twistys - this time in .mov-files of:

1) Veronika Symon (aka a lot) - dated April 30.
2) Madison Scott - dated April 29.

The quality of both technical/viewing and editing is setting new standards for solo-videos. (As a fan of Veronika/Vanessa ect. this is maybe the best solo-video of this model, I've ever seen)

Twistys are certainly keeping up....

Oh, BTW - just grabbed another video with a new model at Twistys, Alexis Ford - man, it's impossible to remain calm in front of the pc watching this video...

Oversized Watermark

I'd pointed out the oversized watermark on a photoset in the sister site Blue Fantasies recently, and that one got fixed. Now there's one, for example, on the currently most recent Kagney Lynn Carter set, entitled "Pink Peep Show." It gets right on her head, etc. It's very intrusive in many of the pics in that set. It is an unwelcome presence indeed.

I've never much cared for the Twistys watermarks, anyway, but I've put up with them as they usually haven't been such a big deal. But these newly styled ones are obnoxious because they are "fatter" and take up more vertical as well as horizontal space.

Yo, Twistys. We here at PU, I think it's safe to say, are NOT interested in the watermarks. We are interested in the women. We cannot fantasize about fucking a watermark. Or at least we shouldn't.

I understand that you need to protect your intellectual property and promote your brand. But this has gotten excessive.

Came close to just dissing my running subscription this time. There's only so much frustration a guy can take when his porn ought to be fun and entertaining, and not just add more little turds to the punchbowl of his life.

Just joined PixandVideo and grabbed the cheap 3-days deal via Epoch for Twistys - again (I can't count the times at Twistys anymore).

But since this was a 3-days-deal I went for Twistys first and foremost (got a month at PixandVideo - at least).
And I still get surprised - especially for a fan of solo-videos. Twistys are among those sites that keep it up! Great new solo-videos and some fine hc-ditto.
Man, just watch those videos of wellknown hc-pornstar Ashlynn Brooke doing softcore - wauw! A lot of full-body-scenes - and you can't get enough of Ashlynns body....and the Jenna Presley or Mandy Lynn-videos.
This is the best kind of alternative - maybe even better - than a lot of my favorite euro-solo-video-sites.

Anybody Else Having Trouble Accessing Site?

Twisty's has historically been quite dependable as far as keeping their site up and updating regularly and making sure access problems don't happen - up to now.

This week, they are pissing me the fuck off.

On the 14th, I suddenly had no access - checked to make sure my membership hadn't expired - I wasn't anywhere near the end of my current membership period. I e-mailed, got a response - "hey, there's no problem - here's your username & password" - still no access - I let them know, didn't hear anything back.

The next day I had access again - cool

Then on the 18th I got a response to my second e-mail from 4 days earlier saying "Oh, yeah - we had a problem here - we fixed it and here's your new username & password". Guess what? I had no access to Twisty's but the new username & password worked at Nicole Graves. Now I'm back into the "there's no problem. Your username & password work fine for us" phase of things.

Aaarrgh! What the fuck good does it do me if they have access but I don't? I don't give a shit if they have access if I don't have access! And to have had the problem get fixed until they monkeyed with it again really pisses me off!

So now I'm telling them "Fix it or refund me - but do one or the other now, cause I'm sick of this crap."

Anybody else having problems with Twisty's these days? It's surprising for this to be happening with such a usually-dependable site. I want access so I can go back to complaining about their over-photoshop

During the last months Twistys has had a fine detail with video-caps of the parted files.
But for the latest four videos - none.

Just joined-up again - this time through an offer via a Videobox-deal where you could get access to Twistys 3 days for almost nothing - a dollar or something like that..
Like many other PU's I have the same feeling about Twistys: "The same stuff all over again..."
But this time I actually downloaded some videos at Twistys - but man, they got a new thing about them - more grainy - or NOT so sharp/crisp - is that a new style?
BTW: Everybody joining Twistys also take a loook at Anettedawn.com - but man are those videos not getting to be a bore after "all these years"...the same style, the same editing, the same everything. A pitty - she used to be a knockout, a doll - now it's all repeating itself - she should do something radical about her performance in the future..

I always enjoy the first of the month for looking over my favorite websites and seeing what they are offering for the month, and deciding which site I'll join, or re-join, next.

Lindsay Marie is a new, extremely hot model, and I've been waiting to see more of her.

I was a happy member of Twistys last year with a 10 month subscription that was not automatically renewed. When the subscription expired, the same deal ($99.95 for 10 months) was no longer available so I "moved on" to other sites.

When I saw a comment about a cheap 2 day trial for Busty Ones (one of 6 subordinate sites that partner with Twistys) on PU, I decided to go back to the PU discussions of Twistys to see if there was a short "trial" available there as well. There was not, so I clicked the link into the Twistys site (that's the way to get the $19.95 per month TBP deal). Lo and behold, I found that they offered a $59.95 [b]six month[/b] price ($9.99 per month). That's a deal that's equal to the $99.95 for 10 months deal I had earlier) and was too good to pass up.

I signed up immediately just in case they changed their minds and pulled the deal.

The changes to the site were quite significant, especially the 6 partner sites and a full members forum that had some good discussions in the technical section. (That shows a pro-active attitude on the part of the webmaster. Offering a forum like that can be very risky for a site that doesn't have its shit together as Twistys clearly does.)

Then I did a quick survey of the various sites and concluded that they were good. My (superficial) rush run-through of the six sites disclosed a few duplications (same stuff on 2 or more sites) which makes no sense to me.

I'm very much looking forward to exploring the sites again.

Disappointment For The Pictures Fan!

I have a couple of days left on my one month subscription and must say that for someone who is primarily interested in pictures Twistys has been a disappointment. Most sets are too colorful with unnatural flesh tones. The pictures are not crisp, they are not exactly blurred, but altered enough (in order to hide imperfections?) to make the skin look almost plastic and there is a great lack of pictures taken in landscape format rather than in portrait. It would be nice if the photographers took our preferences into consideration when shooting a set and made the format half and half. Wouldn't cost anyone anything extra and would keep those of us who like their pictures landscape style happy.

Why the pre-occupation with landscape, you ask? Well, if I look at portrait style pictures in my viewer I either have to set it to show the whole picture which makes it too small, or set it to show the original size, and with high resolution being the norm these days I get a head, then I scroll down to breasts, then to the good parts, then to thighs etc. With landscape type pictures I can basically leave my viewer set at the same resolution as my desktop (1280 x 960). Even with resolutions better than that I will still get most of the picture on my screen. And yes I know Twistys is mostly about videos! I am just hoping that a webmaster or two will stray into this remark and say to themselves: sure, we could do that! Those landscape freaks might be in the minority but why not?

I have a thing against Only Cuties and their videos. That is more than 50 procent of every shoot is close-ups - man, I'm not into gynecology. (leave that to Ron Harris, it's boring, anyway). I want the full deal/body - at least in most of a video.
Now it seems, that Twistys is doing it too (their exclusive and non-exclusives). Latest the clip with the cute Sophie Cox is an exampel. Hope it's not a new trend at this site too....

Value for your money/ Great site

I've already made a review of this wellknown site last year in March.
I still like the site - very much. But what's more importend is the way Twistys has grown. We have all the good updates - most solo-girls and some hc - and Twistys still give the consumer good value for the money ($ 19.95) - great that these folks do NOT attempt to follow some other popular sites and charging more and more.....

But that's not just it, still: First you get access to Anette Dawn too, then Blue Fantasies (even if some sets/videos is a part of all sites).
And as a fine deal you can get access/join Nubiles for a couple of days for a couple of bucks and download all you want in that period. GREAT!

Twistys: Keep up the fine ways - I think a lot of PU's appreciate it, I do, anyway!

I looked over the reviews and comments by people I trust and subscribed to Twisty's this afternoon. A huge amount of material that will keep me busy for months, but I do have one question: How can I search for models that don't have enhanced breasts or look a bit less glamourous. I realise it's a glamour site but would prefer to browse among the less well-endowed. :-) I downloaded two clips and two zipped picture sets of ladies whose faces I liked (at amazing speeds: 1700 KB/sec) and each and every one of the models had scars under their breasts where the implants had been inserted and were therefore deleted without a second look. Is there such a thing as a "kill file" for artificial breasts? In other words, an option: "show me this but not that?" I like the site btw. also the others that make up the network, so I do agree with the high scores given to Twisty's. But I HATE implants!

In my search for the info about bonus-sites included (see Goldfishs reveiw and my reply) in the price for joining Twistys (Anette Dawn and Blue Fantasies) I got a new offer when closing the Twistys-site - $5 off the 19.95 - so they now offer you Twistys at $ 14.95 - good price.
I still wait for the confirmation that the bonus sites - and the full trial for Nubiles ( for 2 days) are ok?

If everything is honky-dory - it looks like some of us PUs have a good deal...

Twistys just jumped to #1! Bonus sites

Twistys has been at #3 on my top 10 sites since last year. It has always been one of my favorite all-around sites, since you get pictures, videos and they have a collection of hardcore DVDs as well.

Then they came out with a solo site of the incredible Anette Dawn, and I joined in despite knowing it was a small site, and I was happy with it for $24.95 a month.

They also have Blue Fantasies, a great site that is similar to Twistys, with different content, I rated it a 90, the price was $20.

Now, you get them ALL for $20! I didn't even know it until I joined earlier today. I was mainly joining as part of my regular cycle sites that I visit 3-4 times per year. When I noticed the bonus site section and saw Anette's site and Blue Fantasies, I figured it was just a sample, maybe a video or two, a picture set or two, but it all of the content from those sites!

Shap and Twistys, just did the unthinkable and passed my all-time favorite site Eve Angel. What a great value!

Favorite Model Shay Laren

Twistys featured one of my favorite models, Shay Laren, as the "Treat of the Month" back in December. However, the site doesn't list how much content she has. It only lists her as a model in the index. Could a present or past member shed some light?

Trying to browse Twistys on Nescape I suddenly get a Windows-alarm: "Exeption Processing Message c0000013 parameters....."
Anybody else using Netscape experienced that?

I love twisty's search engine, I believe every site should learn from them. You Can search by first name, last name, age, eye color, hair color, cup size, height , weight , ethnicity, country, state, and by ranking. So you can try to find the perfect model just for you. Not to mention they have almost every hot porn star model you could think of which is well over 1500. They update every day also. Not to mention they have a deal where you can join for 10 months for 99 dollars. Ftv girls charges the same for 6 months. Also, I wish they had more videos then 2 of Aria Giovanni, but o well.

Twistys models and picture is fresh and hot when it comes to the video part its another story when I was member 6 months ago. The Twistys Treat of the month was always hot and solo and lesbian sets where good most of the time, but lacked good common boy girl sex acts. And the ones they had ore got was from older movies in quality below averge of other sites had.

Twistys is a to much mix would probably work better if they just went for softporn and pictures. That was were there was when I was a member. Huge on volume, OK on quality

I've been in and out of Twistys a few times. For the price deal through TBP, it's pretty darn good with lots of exclusive material including 1280px images. It's got a very friendly feeling to it, too.

Now I'd really like to see them go higher on the pic sizes (2000 to 3000 px) and do less image tweaking for quick downloads. Some of their stuff is so tweaked that the quality clearly suffers.

Of course, I understand that they do this to save bandwidth, but how about offering at least an option to download individual pics at a higher quality and size? That way, people who want a couple of large pics can get them and zip download the rest at the smaller size.

Man, if they'd do that, I'd probably become a chronic Twistys addict.
