Got an e-mail finally from customer service telling me that if I can't get to a movie in the model page to use the links on the model index. These of course are the links that do not work, at all, for any model, and are the main reason I contacted them in the first place. Way to go customer service with your solution, maybe this is why there are so many problems in the first place.

No word from customer service on the problems. Over the last few days I have found yet more problems as well. More model's that are link dead to their page, and also videos that are wrongly linked. Meaning, you download a video and it ends up being a different vid than what it's supposed to be.

Wanted to add that I've also come across a couple models in the model index who's link to their "model page" is also dead. Man, can't remember the last site I've joined with so many problems like this.

Just joined this site and initially I was thrilled. I'll write a full review in a week or so, but wanted to list some pretty substantial problems I'm running across right away:

So in the members area you can look at content in a few different ways, and I chose to start by just looking at the basic model directory and start with the A's. So in the model directory you can have it show as basic (just a thumbnail pic and name to represent a model) or the "full view", which shows her pic, has some basic info, and also lists all the sets that she is in, both pic and movie. Also, from this area where it lists all the sets you can click the set number which is a link to that set (either pic or video). Now, EVERY link to movies is dead on the model directory page. So, no big deal right, I'll just go to the model's actual page and get to it there. WRONG. Some models "model page" has their vids, some do not. Hell, some models "model page" doesn't even have all their pic sets, and you have to get to those through the model directory I already mentioned. Thankfully, all the links to the pic sets work from the model directory, but like I said before, NONE of the links to the movies do. This is especially frustrating since the site is already low on vids compared to pics, and some of the girls I want to see their videos!

I contacted their customer service with a detailed description of the problem, and we'll see what happens. I will reply to this comment with updates.

I contacted AllOver30 today and they replied within a few hours time - when I've send my mail it must have been night time for them. I can now tell you that they start business early in the morning :-).

As soon as I stated that there was an issue with the price appearing in � they asked me to give them more details and less then an hour later I was asked to double-check if I see the price in $ again!

They told me that even though they did not want to have the "regional" or "optimal pricing option" enabled there was a problem with European pricing which has been resolved today.

I'm quite happy because I was shocked to see a site that I trust so much in has this enabled on their join page.

Oh, and b.t.w. I don't get paid by them nor do I get any other benefits. It's just that I like this site a lot and especially some of the ladies they have to offer :-)

Yeah, I'm sure it's kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul in some sense. It comes down to whether in the site operator's judgment it's a better or worse idea to have these pricing differentials. If the non-dollar subscribers saying "We're not going to take it" reaches a critical mass, then the site operators will have to adjust. It's a brutal environment these days on both sides.

Hi Drooler.

I hear what your saying. It's not that I'm complaining as such, I understand costs are rising in all areas of life. What I dont understand, and what is annoying is that the webmasters are not taking the exchange rate into account.

A guy in the US can join a site at a lower cost than I can in the UK or the rest of the EU. I suppose its all about percentages. I was looking at some site traffic using alexa.com. It seems that most porn customers are based in the US.

So, if a webmaster raises the US price he would risk losing more customers, than he would by raising the EU price. 38% of simonscans visitors come from the US, while only 11.3% come from the UK. So the sites are keeping the US price the same and taking a financial hit on every US subscription, but raising the EU price to counteract the loss.

This is the part that I find very unfair and its put me off joining a few sites today :(

Anyways, I always enjoy reading your reviews and comments :)

I remember the mid-80's when the US dollar was really strong and I was in a business that depended a lot on international sales. Our volumes shrank and we had to cut prices and operating costs just to survive, which we fortunately did.

People complained anyway.

I was about to join and noticed the euro dollar symbol before the 29.90 asking price.

I'm based in the United Kingdom and the current exchange rate is

29.90 EURO = 23.51 British pounds sterling
29.90 EURO = 46.46 US dollars

It seems simonscans is also using this new geographic targeting practice.

Older sets come in lower resolution but are still worth looking at :). I liked the variety of models from the type of girl next, hippie goddess or tattooed chick to girls that looks so damn gorgeous it makes you cry!

Navigation was an issue when I was a member about 5 months ago. I was digging hard for some of the sets I downloaded plus I think that simonscans.com was not real download manager friendly. I might give it a try as soon as I have my faster connection which should be available in a couple of weeks.

Dildo action is most of the content that I have seen and I'd like to see other insertions like veggies or panties as well. Hell, I'm a dirty old perv! ;-)

I honestly do not know. I did not take long enough to download site to get to know their update schedule. based on the ratio of picture sets to videos I would say it would be maybe once in two weeks or more. You could always email the webmaster.

Do you know how often the videos are updated? I will visit the preview section of the site pretty often because they show all the latest updates on there, but it seems the vids update like once a month on the preview section, while the pic sets are added every couple days. Is that the way the updates are in the member section as well or do they just not show all the vid updates on the preview section?

Honestly I believe that nubiles and teendreams were a bit better. Siminscans is good though. The girls on nubiles are much better looking though, and the videos are a higher quality. A good handful of Fugly chicks on simonscans. Teendreams from a years ago still beats simonscans on quality.

Simonscans does have quantity of photos though. About 70 GB worth. But only about 330 videos as of early march.

I could agree with that. This was my first time downloading from them, but I would be willing to go back in the future. Some of the videos are pretty hot, but they need to show in HD as I believe everyone should. It is easy to downgrade quality, but it is hard to upgrade poor quality!

Sure! As of about a week ago there was 330 videos. That is what I have downloaded at least. I believe I got them all. It is a hard question to answer because the bit rate is different for some of the videos. The resolutions seem to be around 480 x 360. The largest video is 168 MB and 22 minutes long. There seem to be a good number of them with bit rates at about 1200 Mbit/s. The average video looks to be around 10 minutes long. They really do vary a bit from 7 to 12 minutes. They do not look bad, but I certainly have seen much better. This really is a picture site more than anything.

I really quite like Simons' use of toys, but I really wish that he would organise toys of the right size and variety that ordinary girls use on a daily basis. Girls like the right size and fully strong vibration.

I'd happily lose the close-ups to see a little more expression.

And as usual I think that 3000px would be exquisite given Simon's photographics skill.

That said, I still rate the site most highly

I'm with pantycleft on this. Simon really overdoes it with the toys and long series of ever so minutely varying insertion shots. There are other aspects of the girls he should give more attention to, especially their lovely behinds!

It's kind of tragic when everything else is so good but one thing -- here, constant "toy obsession" -- makes it a bore.

I paid a month's subscription for Simonscans about a year ago but gave up checking it out after less than a fortnight, because although the quality and quantity was outstanding and the girls were all very pretty, I found the sheer overwhelming obsession with what they have between their legs unutterably boring. And yes I AM normally aspirated - I love girls every bit as much as the next fellow.

But in most of the sets here the girls were far too quick to get their kit off, so the tease element was frustratingly thin. Very little subtlety, very little tantalising, very little reality - just pink, pink, pink all the way.

This site is no doubt fantastic for those who are fascintated by gynaecology, but that's not what does it for me.
