Pros:
- Large site
- One of the better studio sites on the internet
- TBP/PU discount
- Offers both video and pictures
- Videos usually offered in multiple formats
- Pictures available in multiple resolutions
- Pictures available in zips
- Updates daily
- Supports download managers

Cons:
- Navigation is fairly basic for such a large site
- Models seem to be removed from the site occasionally
- Heavy reliance on girl-girl (unless you like that, of course)
- Not all new videos are offered with HD
- A bit �soft� for someone who prefers �hard�

Bottom Line:
Usually when I join a site it�s because it�s a site I�ve looked at and thought that it has material that I�d like to download and view. If the site does the technical stuff well and they deliver what they promised then I�ll probably recommend the site.

Things are different for Viv Thomas though. This wasn�t a site on my radar until tangub noted that they were offering an additional discount beyond the normal TBP/PU discount. Based on the reviews here and on TBP, and a quick scan of the site I signed up. I don�t regret taking a membership, but I�m fining this review difficult to write just because I�m so ambivalent in my reaction to the site. I should point out that my review follows on the heels of tangub�s excellent review and you need to read that because he has a lot of important information in there.

I have no idea how many picture sets and videos there are on this site, but it is quite large. Tangub has some figures in his review that seem accurate.

The site doesn�t appear to favour video over photos or vice versa: both seem well represented.

Videos are usually offered in both WMV (Codec 9) and mp4. When HD is available it is usually offered only in mp4 though I did see and download some in WMV. I never saw a scene where HD was offered in both formats. HD isn�t available with every scene, and oddly it doesn�t even seem to be offered with each new upload. I prefer WMV format, so I can�t comment on the quality of the mp4 files. The highest resolution available for WMV videos is 1280x720 at 4000kb/s, which is HD, but remember that WMV HD is rare here. More common are 720x526 at 2200, 640x360 at 2200 and 512x384 at 1550 with the latter resolution appearing to be the most common. These are lower resolutions than I�ve seen at comparable sites.

Photos are available in multiple resolutions with the highest being 2400x1600. Photo sets are available as a zip and the sets can have as few as 30 or over a hundred photos in them.

Subjectively, this is a pretty good site, and it is one of the better studio sites that I�ve seen. It seems that many studios treat the internet as an afterthought, but Viv Thomas does seem to understand the importance of the internet.

My biggest complaint about the site is the navigation. This might be different if you�re a fan of Euro porn and know the models, but for someone who is relatively new to Euro porn the site can be difficult to use. Using the navigation tools to go to boy-girl videos, for example, you�re offered several pages of thumbnails, which will lead you to a particular scene. My beef is that there is little information given apart from the title of the DVD that the scene is from. You actually have to open the link to find out who�s in the scene. You can search by model too, but I didn�t find that to be of much help either since all you have is a small thumbnail to go by. You might open the link only to discover that the model is nothing like what you expected from the small thumbnail. I may be nit-picking here, but I prefer as much information as possible before I have to click on another link. At a bare minimum I like to see DVD name and star. A bonus would be a few tags.

It appears that as much as, and maybe more than, half the site is girl-girl material. That�s great if you�re looking for girl-girl, but it limits the site�s appeal to others. The odd thing is that there are models who do boy-girl elsewhere who only have girl-girl on this site.

There are also a lot of BTS scenes available, which can be good or bad depending on your interest in those.

I have no idea how often the site might get cleaned up, but when I joined I noted that they listed both Ariana Jollie and Desire Moore as models on the site. By the time I went back to download some of their material neither were to be found on the site. I don�t know if this happens to other models because I don�t know Euro models that well. Just be mindful � if you see a model you like, get her material right away. Just in case.

Even though I�m somewhat indifferent to this site I do recognize that it is still a good site. It just isn�t what I�m into. It is more �soft� than I usually buy. I should add, though, that in a link for �banned� video they have some scenes from �Dirty Dog 4� which has some girl/girl anal fisting with some A-list girls (Angel Long and Ariana Jollie among them, but uncredited in the description.)

So would I recommend this site? Absolutely � as long as you like what they have to offer. For someone like me who thinks Kink.com is the best studio on the planet, and regularly signs up at Evil Angel, Viv Thomas is a bit soft for my tastes. Viv Thomas has lots to offer in pics and video, in resolutions that are average. There are some hot European models here with an emphasis on girl-girl. If this is what you like, you�ll probably like Viv Thomas.

Bottom Line:
I got tempted back here for my first visit in over 5 years due to a recent half price special offer. As a fan of solo glamour photo content I found this a great site back in 2006 with the photo quality as good as or better than most other sites around at that time but today however I do feel the quality is lagging a little behind other similar sites. It wasn�t until the latter end of 2009 that the photos finally got an upgrade in size to 2400 pixel resolution and whilst these photos look good it�s still below what many other sites are offering these days.

The navigation is fairly basic here with the usual options to browse the content by updates calendar, photos, videos or an A-Z model index. You then have further categories such as lesbian, boy-girl, solo girl, busty big tits, leg sex etc and then each photo set or video comes with a further range of clickable tags to help you find other similar type content. One thing that does stand out here is the huge amount of lesbian content, in fact the lesbian category under videos is much bigger than any of the other categories.

Within the collection of over 600 models here you will find many of the big name Euro models, names like Eve Angel, Sandra Shine, Sophie Moone, Sandy, Peaches and Jo and they all have an absolute shed load of content here. Whilst I�ve loved all these models and always collected their photo sets they�ve been around virtually ever since I first got the internet nearly 10 years ago so for me I�m afraid a boredom factor started creeping in as I worked my way through the collection. I found myself waiting for some hot new fresh young faces to come along and excite me but for me it never really happened.

The video collection here has come a long way since my last subscription and now includes over 250 videos in HD quality. A new video is added every other day and these are usually full length scenes between 20-30 minutes long. This guy has been making porn movies for years and certainly knows what he�s doing, camera work, lighting and everything are all top notch. Watching some of the movies here kind of reminded me of how porn used to be before the internet came along where you actually have a bit of a story line and see the models attempting to do a bit of acting before they get down to action. I also found the movies to be a lot more erotic and passionate than much of the gonzo style porn around these days.

Overall a fine site and well worth a month�s subscription Fans of lesbian erotica will surely love it here as will those who enjoy seeing the models dressed up in stockings and high heels. In the glamour niche personally I prefer the style and creativity of Holly Randall and the selection of fresh young models and ethnic diversity at Digital Desire. As I primarily joined here for the photos the fact around 80-90% of what I downloaded had a maximum resolution of 1280px was also somewhat disappointing.

Pros:
+ Good amount of content at a good price. (2600+ galleries/1200+ vids at $19.95 at time of review.)
+ Video clips offered in various formats - wmv, divx, mov and mp4. (Some formats missing from some videos.)
+ Newer video offered in 720p HD.
+ Many videos include storyline buildup and/or dialogue -- a pleasant change from some of the other Euro porn offered out there.
+ Web site is easy to use. There are various tools to browse and search the content.
+ Good quality streaming video

Cons:
- At least some of the content is non-exclusive.
- Older vids/pics of lower quality.
- Some of the movies are broken into small clips -- i.e one sex scene may be 2-3 clips. (Probably limited to older movies.)

Bottom Line:
I was looking at some of the older reviews for Viv Thomas and noticed many enjoyed the site for the picture galleries and considered it lacking in the video department. I had the opposite experience! I found I downloaded a decent number of video clips from this site. (That I kept!) I found their lesbian sex selection was superb. I guess you would call it hardcore-lesbian. They also have plenty of b/g and solo.

Technically, the site has good download rates and the newer videos are in HD. After some experimenting with the different formats I'd say go with the wmv or mp4 for the newer, HD movies but stick with the mov format with the older videos.

One topic that has come up various times in PU discussions (forum, comments, etc.) is how Euro porn has gorgeous women yet they are robotic mutes during sex scenes. Viv Thomas has done a good job breaking that model. They've recruited many of the hottest Euro glam models (Peaches, Jo, Nelly, Sophie Moon, etc.) and have them talking, acting and participating in story lines and it doesn't suck at all!

Bottom Line:
Vivthomas is a top notch photographer who's stuff you've probably already seen on sites like Teendreams, ATKgalleria, and others. His focus on Euro glam porn. This is my second time joining and I only hopped on for the trial.

For those interested in vids, forget this site and consider Vivthomasvideo. All you get are short clips and access to some streaming vids. I didn't really mess around with this but I note that the clips played at 640x480 in wmv. Most of this stuff is only a few minutes long.

The pics are the real reason to go here. He does a very professional job in terms of production value and overall quality. Very few blurry shots or bad lighting. He also uses a variety of sets so it's not overly reptitive. Most sets have fewer than 100 pics which I tend to like since you don't get 10 shots of the same thing. There is a small watermark in the cornor of the pics.

The hardcore was good but it doesn't update that often. Viv is probably at his best when shooting solo models. He does a good job of shooting lingerie and seems to bring out some sexiness in the models which a lot of sites seem to lack. There's 17 categories to choose from and you get about 650 models and there's about 165k pics. Some models have bios and bits about them but most don't have anything. The model directory appears to be complete and accurate.

There is also a forum which has a fair amount of activity and you can buy his dvds from the site too.

I'm only scoring this site an 82 because so much of his older content is leased out that I've seen most of it before. The new stuff is exclusive but it too will eventually start cropping up elsewhere. I certainly had no problem getting what I wanted during the trial period and if you've been around porn for a while you shouldn't have any problem getting by on a trial either.

I'm also scoring the site an 82 because of the lack of video content. Granted, he has a video site which costs more but I think I'd rather see him merge the two sites together and charge a bit more to get all the content.

My last reason for the score is that his photos sometimes appear in larger sizes on other sites. I just joined Teendreams and their Vivthomas pics are much larger. You get a little graininess but it's minimal. So all I have to say is "Viv, grow 'em bigger!".

So, if you like pics, like hot euro babes and want a cheap distraction, then I suggest checking it out.

Pros:
- Without question, the finest collection of models
- Content wants to be exclusive, but the older sets are widely available, I assume those were originally owned by Viv, but he licensed out the older sets
- Pictures come in zips
- Navigation is very easy to use
- Download speeds are not really a huge part here, since it is mostly average resolution pictures
- Good enough price at $19.95
- Viv's experience and professionalism as a photographer/producer really shows

Cons:
- Well to start with, if you're coming here for videos, don't. The videos here are trailers, some interviews, though I will say that some of the trailers are 3-5 minutes and are pretty good.
- The picture quality can be frustrating. The biggest pictures available on the site are 1280 high end
- Zip file pictures are only 1024 high end

Bottom Line:
I will start by saying that Viv Thomas' work is my favorite on the internet. His taste in models, the way he photographs them, the fetishes he touches upon are the same as mine.

This site to me is the best site for pictures only. I know the resolution isn't up there with Met-Art, but I much prefer Viv's models and the style of his sets. The girls almost always start out dressed in the picture sets. Pantyhose is usually involved if they have a skirt on. I guess what I'm trying to say is he likes the girls to look classy before getting dirty.

Unlike most sites though that the models are all dressed up on to start a set, they do get dirty here.

One of the best parts about this site is the constant flow of new material involving the top tier Euro models. The settings range from a tropical mansion, which I'm guessing is the Viv mansion, to in the bedroom.

There is an active forum on the site that the models do stop by on. Viv is fairly active on it as well and talks very candidly in his posts.

All of your favorite Euro models are here, except one for me and that is Aneta Keys. Besides that one, Eve Angel, Sandra Shine, Sophie Moone, even Sandy from Club Sandy, Nella, and by now you are getting my drift. Wish the resolution was higher, but I have been looking over it for 6 months. So, it isn't too big of a hindrance for me.

Viv is the Hugh Hefner of Euro porn and for any fan of legs, butts, pantyhose, beautiful faces and settings, I highly recommend it!

Pros:

-Decent value for money
-Full access trial

-Tastefully done - no over the top violent hardcore or gynocology close ups here!

Cons:
-A lot of the updates seem quite old and its difficult to know just how new the updates are unless you have been a member for a long time
-Some sets appear incomplete and stop in odd places, like when the dildo appears
-Generally the site lacks imagination and uses the same old scenarios: maids, nurses, secretaries, girl home alone, yawn!!
-If you like toy action, then there's not a lot, and if you don't then its o.k.
-If the videos were down-loadable then the site would be even more value

Bottom Line:
A must see for real soft-core fans who like their women beautiful and natural. They all pose beautifully and have just that right look in their eyes that leaves you hungry for more. Compared to other sites in this genre, this is really good value. Some highlights include models like Dana V. (here called Vera) and Peaches. Jenna Jameson even appears in some very old but beautiful sets from the days she still looked like a real natural woman.

The site is reasonably priced and navigation is okay, though it could use more search categories. I will certainly be visiting this site again in six months time. The content load is not huge, but it is not small either. If you were considering joining a solo model site, then try this first. You'll get more variation and find new models you never heard of or seen before.

Site only gets 80 for the lack of variation in the scenes and the mainly dated content. But if you're a picture collector looking for early rare sets of your favorite model then you need to join this site.

Cons:
-Some parts of the site are hardly updated ("Your stories", for instance)
-Site support is not very efficient
-Streaming videos are offered in a separate website

Bottom Line:
This site offers good quality pics and videos of some of the hottest European models(mostly British and Hungarian). Viv Thomas is a talented and respected director, specially in filming sapphic and foot fetish movies, so if you are into those you will find good stuff in here.
The forum also works pretty well: VIv, her crew, her models and the members chat pretty lightly about almost everything.
If you want to take a look at it, you can use the trial subscription -it offers access to all the site.
Good website from a great porn director.
