(I say normal because there are some who have some very sick tendancies which I'd rather exclude from this)

you say...

Please realize that some models will be better at this than others and we will have to adjust our filming to what the models can handle.

Could I reassure you and your models that quite often if a model is trying to be like this and doesn't do it so well...that can be the biggest turn on of all...nothing sexier than a model who is innocent of certain things like this which suggests a freshness...

Having said that, when they know exactly what they are doing...that works too. The eyes can tell you this...

To be honest...with the standard of your models no matter how well they do they'll still look jaw-dropping gorgeous...

And on closing can i just say one last thing...I love the fact that you call them MODELS...respect goes a long way in a business where all too often it is cast aside...Thank you...Yes your models do things of a VERY sexual nature and some are on other sites and referred to as Pornstars, and if that is what they are that's fine, I have no problem with that... but when you call them models...that's a big Tick in my box for you...for what it's worth...

Again, great comments JBDick. We can do this. I assume that you
are talking about our masturbation style videos and not our photoshoot
videos - correct? What we will do in future videos is allow the
models to be playful and tease the camera more. Please realize
that some models will be better at this than others and we will have to
adjust our filming to what the models can handle.
We have both men and women guiding the shoots and picking outfits and we like to use the clothes that the models bring.
Their own clothes will always fit their particular body type
better than anything than we can throw on them.
Given production turnaround times and schedules, please allow some time before you actually see the results of this new technique.

Certainly true. I can not find a single model that I would say is less than a 7 in my book. A 7 to me is fairly decent, a 9 is jaw dropping, and extremely few 10s around. ALS has some really good stuff and with the new format of the site I just might have to join again in the near future. There are few other sites that have THAT many good looking girls and no uglies mixed in just for filler. That alone is worth joining the site for, plus the content that is there is pretty good to boot. I hope that when I rejoin the clothing tease will be full addressed. If it is I think my porn hotness meter would burst!

I hope that my comment was taken constructively...which if I read your reply is Yes...

I love ALSSCANS.COM and ALSANGELS.COM and I think you have every right to hold that top position in the ratings...and what is amazing is that your format and site layout has never had to change to maintain your status as a WORLD leader in QUALITY...You have no contenders in that respect and do stand alone...

but, and I do agree with you that your more recent stuff is introducing more of the lead up...but can I take the opportunity to elaborate a little on this point...and this is only my guess on this...

I believe you prep the girls for the shoot on the basis of the main event...so the girls and the photographer are counting the clock to that point where the lube is applied and the clinical trial begins and I guess the models are thinking you are paying them top $ for that shot...not realising that the build up can actually be sexier, and holds a higher $ value. Yes, we do want that shot but the girls should be encouraged on the shoots to think of the sexy build up because it is a VALUABLE part of the shoot...

Out of interest, I've been a member on and off for over 8 years (maybe longer?) when you 1st introduced Jade Hsu to us...and I know I will be a member again many times over... so can I ask a candid question...who directs the shoots and wardrobe...if it's a woman because you find that with a woman involved you can get the models to relax more, could I suggest that you get some male input on at least wardrobe, not slutty or sleazy..there is plenty of that elsewhere, I'm talking about sexy with respect...

There are occasions where you do things like get the girls to wear the mesh bikinis and get them wet...these shoots can be very sexy...again big heels can be good. the walk is nice but get them to pause and move the camera around the girl to appreciate their amazing bodies, and FACES - EYES & LIPS (which can be the sexiest thing). starting with a girl already lying on a bed waiting to be examined does not arouse me...I feel I am a connoisseur who appreciates the beauty of the female body, and to fully appreciate it I want to see it move gracefully without any rush...and I believe when you do this you will tap into the soul of these girls and bring this to the screen... YOU HAVE FLAWLESS QUALITY, BEAUTIFUL GIRLS...BUT I DON'T SEE ANY SOUL...let the girls have some control...the minute you overbear direction you will suppress their SOUL...that twinkle...and for me no matter how beautiful a models pussy is, it will never twinkle like her eyes and her mouth...

THE PERFECT SITE FOR ME WOULD BE ALSSCANS.COM + GIVEMEPINK.COM = ALSGIVEME.COM. Take a look at format on this other site...Now take some parts of that site, gene splice it with yours and you are UNTOUCHABLE...

Excellent thoughts and this is why we have changed this approach
over the last two years. If you look at the more recent HD video
releases we do more glamour (and leading up to) shots in the
photosets and the video only scenes have a slower build up as
well. You are 100% correct about the older videos � no or little
clothes and then bam right to the toys. But we think that if you
take a closer look you will notice that our newer material, has everything that you are looking for :-)
Especially our latest Caribbean trip (Tropical shoot 2008) which
was just shot and will be coming out this month on www.alsscan.com

I agree that more strutting of the stuff as the clothes come off would help some, but it's not only that. Once the clothes come off, they too often go straight to the toy play, fisting, pissing, whatever ... with little or no fully "just nude" fantasy stuff. There are exceptions, such as the most recent set of Britney in the bath, which has a scant few choice ass poses (my personal obsession).

I'm a "marginal" fan of both sites for the reasons given above. Most of the girls are way hot and the photo quality and size have gotten really good, but they're so immediately into the pussy workouts and cervix displays that they could practically have the girl strip down to reveal the banana, cucumber, "Rocket," or speculum already pre-inserted!

They really need to address this. Perhaps make the videos each two part. The first part being the teaser section, then a ssecond video for the normal. This way those who do not want to see the teaser can just download the normal part. But this would let those of us who want that part to be able to see it. I frequently will watch videos just for that part, especial if it is a girl/girl scene.

There is no denying the girls at ALSANGELS.COM & sister site ALSSCANS.COM are perfect...and quality and quantity of their exclusive content is huge, unique to them and they have managed to be at the top for the best part of 10 years...
Well Done...and without changing the layout of their sites.

Nice introduction of 2 free sites alsbikinis and heartbreaker but the one thing that bothers me about their format is why do most of the shoots, especially the video, never include the build up...where are the shots of the girls (perfect as they are) walking around with beautiful outfits on, doing the sexy thing and stripping down...teasing us...we know they can do this...i've seen the same girls elsewhere but with ALS you just know they would give you the benchmark that all sites like givemepink and clubsandy would like to meet...

instead we are straight into the usual selection of toys or other models fist lubed up and that's it, start the camera, open and cough...very clinical...

this I see is a limitation of ALS sites. It is not a downfall, it's my preference with Girls this beautiful I want to enjoy the pleasure of seeing their beautiful bodies move, dressed in tight lycra etc before we are given the gynaecological tour, which is still wanted but it's like at Xmas...nobody wants to find their presents under the tree without the appealing wrapping to invite us to get excited...the most exciting part is not knowing what's under the wrapping. I agree with you that Twistys should have done a better job with Andie. She looks weird in some of the sets, but I've not seen her look weird anywhere else! She sure doesn't need a lot of makeup. She has beautiful, natural lines everywhere you look!

It's good at least that Twistys is putting their monthly "feature" models at 1600px (though as a standard size for everything, it would be better). But their approach to photography (the posing, the orientations) and image preparation (too much cropping, blurriness, pussy obsession, copious amounts of similar poses and especially the excessive file compression) makes me think they should get someone more competent at directing the entire process -- already! It keeps me away for months, and I don't look foward to slogging through the above-described to find a few jems.

I definitely agree it's worth checking out. I only wish they'd reissue their older photosets in larger sizes and better quality -- as they're doing with ALSscans. I'd especially like to see that for models such as Carrie Starr and Breanne, though the list is a lot longer than that!

Putting all of the pics of a set into one zip would be helpful, too, instead of "zip by the page" as they're still doing.

I'm not into the insertion stuff there, nor the peeing, but even someone who's just into beautiful women will find a lot in the collection. I'd say it's worth a month of "raiding."

If you liked ALS you really need to check out ALS Angels. The girls are more curvy but their all still shaved. Photos sets are a bit more organized and the videos focus more on actual masturbation than just filming photo shots. So if you liked the XXX hard core edge that ALS offered you'll be satisfied with ALS Angels.

Yeah, the current price difference is only 5 bucks per month on a recurring membership, and 10 on a nonrecurring. I agree that the price difference should be even more. Imagine the difference in content in just one or two years from now at the current update rate. It will be incredible.

Considering what Alex announced about the HUGE leap in content being released at ALS Scan - a complete photo set being released each day, while one complete photo set is being released per week at ALS Angels - they are really going to have to adjust the pricing.

They have already been sending out offers to past members of 1 month of ALS Angels when rejoining ALS Scan for 90 days. It will be interesting to see if they continue to develop ways to give ALS Angels memberships away as various types of bonuses.

Alex has been posting speak peek photos of the sets that he shot of Andie Valentino just this weekat ALS Scan. They are absolutely phenomenal. In my opinion Andie Valentino is one of the most ravishing, beautiful women to ever have taken off her clothes for the camera - just an awesome body with enough unique-ness facially to make me want to see more and more and more of her.

I hated - no, I detested - what Twisty's did to Andie's photosets. They must have thought she was the homeliest woman alive to have given her the blurry-face kabuki treatment they did. Alex's pics of Andie are the antidote to that horrendous crap. I can't WAIT to see the full sets posted at ALS Angels (the big-boob sister site of ALS Scan).

New Policy and video offering

It's come to pass that ALSAngels has started following in the foot steps of it's sister site, ALSScan, in two important aspects. The dreaded video rotation policy has been retired. :) At present, the videos available on the site date back to the 20th. of February this year. Plus, they've released a bonus DVD set.
The second aspect, also very welcome, is the start of releasing HD videos. As with their sister site, the videos come in three variants: 1280x720 MP4, 1280x720 DIVX, and 852x480 DIVX. While the production schedule is slower than than that of ALSScan, they're still managing to keep up with their 2-3 videos and a photoset/week schedule. I can understand why, though, as the standards to be met for a model to appear on this site means that there are significantly fewer models available.
Also, I'm pleased to be able to report that that quality of the HD videos is up there with the best offered on the net at this point. For instance, I took a look at the 1280x720 videos offered at InFocusGirls and those videos look positively grainy compared to those at ALSAngels and ALSScan.
I've exchanged a few emails with the webmaster concerning the changes and have been told that the new work is being shot in HD but they will continue to release videos they've already done in the 640x480 and 720x540 formats. It's gratifying to see them taking the lead both in quality and heeding customer suggestions. I look forward to many good things to come from them as time progresses.

ALS is no longer rotating off videos!

Yes, it is indeed true...as of April 1, 2007 ALS is no longer rotating videos offline. The reason we did this in the past was so that we could continually upgrade our older videos to the highest standards available. How many sites have you been to where you see videos of models from 2-6 years ago and the quality sucks with small 320x240 video sizes and low compression rates? Well, we wanted all of our videos to become 640x480, 720x540 or higher. Now that ALS is only shooting in Hi-definition video 1280x720, we can permanently set all of our prior video work at 720x540. This means that we are not removing video releases anymore and all of our videos will be
first-rate quality (even our older videos from 6-8 years ago) - how
many sites can say that? So spread the word...ALS is better than ever!

The thing that is hard to deal with on this site is the infrequent updates of only 2 vids a week and 1 or 2 photoshoots a week. For a 30 dollars a month that is way steep for me, especially when a lot of the videos are rereleases of stuff I have already seen on there.

I sent ALS an email telling them about how much I enjoyed their site and how I was surprised considering most "pro" reviews aren't that high. From the reply that I received back, their rotating content is to keep the content fresh. Of course, we know it is to keep us as members for more months as well. Your description of the models sounds like exactly what I look for. I found their other site, which is rated higher, the models are too skinny for me. I will probably hang around on it for at least another month to see the rotated material since I noticed several of their Eve photo sets say, "Set 1" or "Set 2".
