Anybody here now or recently?

Lost the best part of my stash/vids from this site - among others Emma and Bulle.

Only reason I at this point want to rejoin is getting that material back - BUT: the quality THEN, including the vids of models mentioned were rather la,la,la...

So do Explicite Art - like some other sites - edit their older vids into better quality???

I have no idea why people rate this site so high

I've joined this site twice. First time was maybe 4 years ago. Then I joined it again back in December of 2008. I was very disappointed both times.

I guess I should have done a review the last time, but I'll tell you from my experience back then, I would have rated this site in the mid-sixties range.

Their navigation is horrible, or at least it was in late 2008. And their camera work is awful, practically all they show you is close-ups of either the girls face or her butt ... and that's it.

They do have very good still photos, but the site price is way too high for just photos. If they would greatly improve their navigation and especially their video camera work, then maybe it would deserve a "90," but it sure didn't deserve anywhere near that the last time I checked.

I thought this site to be the very peculiar one.
I think that the impression changes greatly by the person.
Therefore, I stopped grading it.
I became a member for three months.
And, I saw all works. There are very a lot of movies and photographs. However, the movie has some very short things.

There are quite a lot of works of anal sex.
I wanted you to teach that beforehand.
I do not like anal sex. However, it might be happy for a favorite person. One woman disliked anal sex, and there was a crying movie. I was not able to enjoy the movie quite.
I do not understand the reason to stick to anal sex.

Next, there are a lot of very beautiful photographs. Because other seniors also are commenting about this, it doesn't write a lot. However, there were some things that I did not have in the favor either.
The woman is a heavy make-up, and it poses unnatural.

Download is a little slow.

i read otto's rather upset, (more like pissed off, when Otto's says he would rather get this money back), so Armaud, my question to you is, as much as i like EA and want EA to be a pay site that i would buy, what kind of of hopes can you, Armaud, give me that the DL speed has been fixed, and since i am in Canada, and use Vuze for DL, that 5 days after i hear back from you, Armaud, regarding these issues and this email, that i won't be "wishing and wanting" to get my money back like Otto?

Forget about trying to download anything. The load time is so slow that even browsing photos online is a chore. I would get a refund if I could.

Site was funky for me

I tried to sign up for this site recently and for some reason it didn't let me do it. The payment page kept going inactive. I tried several browsers and two different connections (work and home) Maybe it's just a fluke, but I thought I should point this out. Looks like a nice site, though.

Camera Work/Direction Needs Improvement On Newer Videos

I rejoined this site after a couple years (and giving a very good review). I think Monsieur Root thinks of himself as an "artiste". For porno, the camera work and direction is not proper to the genre. It seems that every view of the "action" is limited to 2 or 3 seconds before you get a cut or edit to something else---very often a close up of a stunt cock's face. I feel like I'm back in the 1970s when directors were afraid of showing too much sex lest they be charged with obscenity,so they did quick cuts and plenty of male facial closeups. We don't need to worry about that anymore. Consumers want to see the sex, and they don't want to see male faces.

DVDs on Site?

Does anyone know if the Explicte Art site still has John Root DVDs available for download as part of the subscription? It used to, but with the redesign it no longer shows them in the tour.

Hot d'or award received

John B. Root (creator of Explicite site) recently received an hot d'or (=french avn awards) as best french film director. You can see diferent videos of his films on his site Explicite.

Personnaly it is not my best film director, but i must admit that his site is nice with really pretties girls inside and lot of french actress shoot or/and videos (Melissa Lauren, Yasmine, Lou Charmelle etc..)

I like softcore, will watch hardcore, but Explicite Art site would be an acquired taste for me. What I like best are lovely girls and women. The artsy porn here is supposed to be candy for the mind and eye, but I find it harder to digest than what met-art and similar glam photo sites offer.

I also don't like the photoflashes from a photographer who is doing a photo-shoot of a video session. That is stupidly intrusive on the action of the scene. Not all videos have the photo-flash effect, but some do. If someone decides to piss in the background, are we supposed to regard that as artistic embellishment of a porn scene?

(Sorry, maybe I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.)

Site looks very promising

I have noticed that this site adverises video files that have been on their site for many months again as "new" updates, which they clearly are not. I suppose this is in an attempt to pad their update log to make it look like there is a contiuous stream of new content.
A pretty underhanded trick, as it leads users to waste download bandwidth downloading things more than once only to discover that they have aleady got it!

Some of the worst camera work anywhere.

So let me say this, I haven't been so frustrated to the point of commenting on this site until now. After being so excited about the Shannya-tweeks update on this site I joined it again for the first time in a while. And of course, it's a complete disaster thanks to the incompetent camera men and editing. On the most recent review on here the member comments on this problem and it is NOT an exaggeration when he says that the camera view tends to change every few seconds, LITERALLY. Do you have any idea how annoying that is, especially when you're trying to get into the action? On the scene I talk about it just gets horrible to the point of vomiting, especially towards the end. Granted I'm not a big fan of fisting, which is what's happening, but probably 75% of the camera shot is on a blowjob instead of the real action. Then even when you get to see what's happening down below, 2-3 seconds later you're back up top again, then below, then up top, then below. Like a damn roller coaster. People, learn to shoot a damn scene with some sense! Keep the same shot for a little while, THEN change it. And shoot where the action is more! Geez! The sad thing is that it's like this on tons of scenes on this site.

Site offer huge pics, but the resolution sux!

No resolution in the big pics, then why big? I can size up a pic with low pixels with freekin MS Picture Manager and get a big pic with crappy resolution.

The models are gorgeous, posed well and lighting is terrific. Fix the resolution problem and you'll have beauty-freeks streaming into your site.

Site should be renamed

This site has nothing to offer in the way of "hardcore". All the actors lack the qualities necessary. They are just a bunch of amateurs who act like they don't even want to be doing this. They don't do much of anything anyway. The models are not very good looking for the most part. The site is a waste of money as far as I am concerned. Site should be renamed to Explicite Nothing

Not satisfying

I can't see this site being rated in the 90's. I've been a member twice over about 3 years, and even with the recent site redesign, there's too much about it that is below par:

the high price for full membership
the SLOW downloads
the blurriness of photos
the "artsy" and "fetishy" nature of the photos
the overly complicated/confusing navigation (in the NEW design)
the models (some are great, but a lot of them are so-so in looks)

That's my 2 bits. And some people might like the site a lot more than others do, but it's off my list.

Great site!

I love the look of the European girls. Very natural and very sexy. Their sex scenes are very believable and it does not look contrived. My only gripe would be that their clips are outdated and they need to have fresh clips updated often.
